Well the events that had just happend were.. Interesting. Somehow they had made it out with their hearts still beating and lungs still taking in air. By Carlos' standards that made for a pretty good day out of all the shitty days they have been having. However, He couldn't seem to shake this feeling of helpless ness that had overwhelmed him since the encounter with those fucked up folk from that house. What was their problem anyways? Did they not have enough room or was it simply out of being assholes that they didn't allow shelter. Carlos wouldn't know until Rosa decided to translate what the hell had just went down. The time when that would come seemed to drift further and further away as this farm house came into view.
"It's.. not that bad" He raised brow toward his daughter whom was already starting to complain. Only this time it was through the crossing over her hands over her chest followed by scoffs rather them actual words. He returned with a simple frown and glare in his eyes that begged her to test his waning patience. The pair went around the house checking out for any traps and once they found none the two decided to enter the two floor house. They searched rooms individually just incase the other had missed anything of importance.
Once that task was done both of them plopped down on the couch. A long silence fell over them both, lost in thought the teenager toyed with her finger tips, Carlos was pulling flash cards our from his backpack that he had slipped off moments ago. They exchanged glances toward each other until he slid the cards a little closer toward Rosa. Clearly practicing his English would help rid him the feeling of confusion. A small smile cracked over the usual stare as he waited for the assistance from his daughter.
