( well shit I'm excited haha but skip me so I can react to being found. No point in doing the same thing. She still has her rifle pointed at the door. She has the barrell venting out a window so there wouldn't be smoke everywhere....that'd kill her. But keep going with what you got going on ;] )
The group hadn't been in the building for a minute before things started going south. Jared's leg had started oozing blood like crazy, and Georgia was firing questions at the siblings and her. "Uh. I don't know a lot?!" She stuttered still kind of unaware of the situation. The smoke was disorienting her already causing her reactions to be slow. She hasn't killed any living folk yet. "No I haven't killed any living!" She spurt out. Georgia began saying stuff about a group. Her group probably. Ella was getting light headed. Something about a baby and children. Safe. People.
It was worth the risk to be with a group. Ella didn't care if they didn't have a moral compass. Safety in numbers was pretty much the rule for survival in this world. She turned her attention towards Jared. The others were thinking. Of ways to slow the bleeding. Cauterizing seemed to be the way they were going for. The group needed to find the fire. Ella didn't speak as she moves further inside the building towards the dilapidated staircase in order to get to the second level of the building where the smoke seemed to be thicker.

"We might be able to. I'm not a doctor, I don't know," Georgia said. "What can we tie it off with, do you have any scraps of clothing we can use. He's right, we can use the fire, or something, no point just letting you die. You aren't bit, only bleeding. People bleed all the time. We'll get you back, get you patched up."
She listened to what Maxine and Ella said about their questions. But right now she didn't have time to continue on it further. They seemed alright, she trusted them. Which was more than she could say about the one she came across with Sam. Maybe they just seemed friendlier. Maybe it was the age, the smile, or the fact the guy was good looking. Either way, they seemed fine. All three of them she would bring, but it would be up to the leader if they could stay.
She grabbed her rifel tighter and looked at the stairs. "Alright, Darwin you and me can check it out, Maxine, you and her stay with Jared. When we come back we'll need help moving him." She didn't wait for an answer, instead took off for the stairs. Darwin had his axe out, but she favours her rifle. Climbing up through the smoke that seemed to go out a window and draft down below she made her way up the steps.
The boards creeped as she walked and when she got to the top she aimed her rifel st the fire and person behind it. At least someone had t left walkers to burn. "Drop the rifle," she said calmly, moving out of the way so Darwin could come up.
She stepped around and eyed the woman. "It's all clear bring him up," she yelled down to Maxine, "we need to get the bleeding to stop." She kept her gun aimed at the woman, watching her move.
(Sorry for delay myself, have been a bit under the weather lately, but feeling better now. )
Following her up, Darwin did as Georgia said. He kept his ax out and ready as the moved through the building and up the stairs. Glancing back to Maxine, he just nodded once before they ascended to the next floor. Once there, he followed Georgia pretty closely.
It was when she moved through a doorway that he saw a woman there, crouched down. She was armed and had a dog beside her. Darwin glanced to Georgia and then back to the woman and raised his ax a bit higher. He didn't want trouble but he didn't want to get mauled by a dog either. "I don't think she is gonna do anything bad, right?" he said softly and looked to Miri and her dog. "We aren't either. Someone's hurt, we just want to use your fire."
Georgia moved around Miri and kept her weapon aimed steady. Darwin took a small step forward himself. He didn't want to hurt the woman nor did he want to hurt the dog either. She looked like she could use some help herself. When Georgia called for Maxine to move up with Jared his grip tightened. If something were to happen here, he wanted it to happen before Maxine was up here. Worst case scenario, if something happened when she arrived, he wanted to make sure he would swing for the fences as hard as he could.
He got the feeling though that he wouldn't need to. He just hoped everyone else felt the way he did about it.

Why the fuck did she have to get sick enough that hibernating in a looting ground was a good idea? The woman barged in and kept moving, keeping her rifle aimed at her head. When she came in Miri tried to croak out dont move but it just came out like a gushing hack. Her own barrell wobbled with the effort but kept aimed at the intruder.
The boy with the ax got the full attention of Brutus. His amber eyes kept fixed on the ax. When he gripped it tighter the beast took a step. He was big enough and fast enough that if it were to be swung the only thing that were to be harmed would be the boy.
She listened to him explain that they needed her fire. The fuck? Seriously? If she could breathe she would have laughed at the stupidity. Instead she grinned like a crazy person. If the boy or Georgia took one step further she'd fire. It wasn't any fuck of hers that one of their bullet happy brigade took one for the team.
But she wasn't well. In truth she was likely on her way out, or at least some permanent damage. She wished she had had a full bottle of whiskey instead of the tiny one.
Maxine placed one of Jareds arms over her shoulder while the quiet more mousy of the teenage girls got the other shoulder. Gritting her teeth a little bit, she wasn't the strongest person in the world, not by far but this guy could loose a few pounds. "Don't worry Jared. When we're out of this you can't have anymore twinkles bud." Her sarcastic way of trying to deal with all the shit a apocalypse could throw at them.
She hoped that Darwin was okay with that Georgia women. Georgia seemed to have all her shit together which was worrisome and calming. Hopefully she wouldn't be one of those survival of the fittest type to leave behind Dar if he got into a rough patch. No we have their guy in are arms. Stop being so worried Maxi.
As The curly haired teen tried to tell herself this. Her dark eyes looked over at the other girl who hadn't yet told her name. Seeing as they both to appeared to be around the same age. It was odd that Maxine hadn't felt the same as her.. Maybe they were just very different people. "So you think they will make us prom queen for being badasses?" She jokingly said making sure Jared was staying awake while they helped him to Georgia and Darwin.
Ella grunted as she lifted Jared onto her shoulder to help hold some of the weight as Maxine took his other arm. She gave a soft chuckle as the other teen made a snide remark about Jared needed to give up twinkies. She hoped things were going smoothly upstairs. She liked the siblings, Jared, and even Georgia so far. They were a neat bunch and company wouldn't be that bad. She like Maxine the most. She was close to her age, funny, and very pretty. Ella hoped Maxine would begin to like her just as much.
Ella looked over to the girl when she made a comment about the boys making them prom queen after this. "Gee, I hope so." She gave a friendly smile. As the two girls brought Jared upstairs, Ella saw that things were not going as smoothly as she had hoped. Georgia and Darwin were poised to attack at a woman who she guessed was the owner of the fire that they needed. The woman had a dog. The only thing Ella wanted to do was hug that dog and never let go. "We just want your fire lady." Ella grunted out as she peeked out from under Jareds heavy arm. "We won't attack if you won't. Pinky swear just.." She adjusted the mans weight on her shoulder and continued "let us fucking use the fire." The teen let out an exacerbated sigh.

The woman was aggressive, she got that. Georgia wasn't one to back down, and they were intruders right now. But they needed to use the fire. Not all of it, just some. They needed, heat, up an object to custerize the wound. It wouldn't take anything, they'd get it done and be on their way. But this girl, she had to do it the hard way. On one hand Georgia admired it, another, it blowed.
Seeing both Ella and Maxine brain Jarde up behind them she smiled at the pair. "Do we really look like we are gonna hurt you," she said lowering the gun and stepping forward to allow the other two to come up the stairs. She eyed the dog, she never liked dogs. MT was more her style. Sassy little MT.
Ella said some words, and Darwin did too. Both saw they needed the fire, and this woman's as in her mind being ridiculous. "He's bleeding. Can't you see that? That's blood," she said pointing to Jared's leg. "We need to cauterize the wound, once we do that we will leave, be out of your hair. Come on blondie be reasonable."
Georgia took another small step forward, she had lowered the gun completely, letting it rest on the strap around her chest. She eyed the woman. "Let's just lower the gun, no one needs to be hurt."
Darwin looked to Georgia then to Miri, then to the dog. He slowly began to lower the ax as well and glanced over his shoulder to Maxine and Ella. His jaw was clenched slightly but he turned back to focus the woman and her dog.
"Yeah, just need to use it for a moment." His eyes narrowed and looked to Georgia. "She's sick too."
Being sick could be a bother but depending on how sick you got, it could kill you. Simple infections nowadays were possibly life ending if you didn't have the medicines to treat it. He didn't want anyone to get sick, and he had been fighting off a cough himself.
"Do you have something we could give her?" he asked Georgia before looking to Miri. "How long have you been alone?"
He wanted to be friendly, or as friendly as he could. Things were certainly going to get better if they could deal with the situation at hand, namely Jared. Maybe after that, they could help her too. Should she be willing to receive the help. He lowered his ax and now only held it with one hand. As much as he wanted to keep his guard up, he followed Georgia's lead.
"I'm Darwin. That's my sister, Maxine," he said softly and motioned towards Maxine over his shoulder.

They lowered their weapons and started to give a show of how friendly they were. Miri lost her breath attempting to laugh. The rifle clattered to the floor as she was violently wracked with coughs and gasping in between for air. Her dog stood over her and for the first time during the situation the hair on his neck to his tail raised. He didn't growl or bare his teeth but he was still showing them not to advance.
Miri grabbed a hold of his collar right before she passed out from the lack of oxygen. The mastiff seemed to have a mild panic attack after this. His giant head went to lick her face and back towards the strangers aggressively. He didn't know to attack or to guard and let out a groaning whimper/growl.

( since my character passed out if you think you would like to move her/do stuff that's fine. Just no killing and other than that I'm good. I GA e the opportunity to calm her dog down first though. =) I am just throwing this out there in case my post freaked anyone out)
Maxine was learning to like the other girl more as the conversation was light and fluffy like a chocolate double fudge cupcake with extra chocolate chips.. No triple chocolate chips! Her stomach growled around the same time as that women passedthe fuck out. "She clearly.. Uhh partied to hard." Maxine dead panned with all good intentions. Her nose crinkled up as she nearly lost hold of the man leaning on their shoulders. Seriously this man should lay off the goddamn twinkies in the apocalypse. Of course who was she to judge this mans diet, she herself looked as though she needed to gain an extra pound or two. In the end not giving a shit seemed like the best answer for her internal conversation. "So like.. We can't leave that women can we? I don't care for Cujo. But it be pretty fucked up if we left her?" She added looking between Georgia and Darwin. Not putting as much focus as she should be on the man they were carrying.
Ella watched as the woman fainted. Maxine made a remark about her partying to harder. She gave a soft laugh. Maxine was a breath of fresh air. It was always good to have someone like her in the apocalypse. Kept up morale.
"We can get her away from the fire, and maybe she will wake up if she gets some cleaner air." The girl suggested. She gave a small shrug. "For now we can just use the fire while she's out. Hopefully the dog won't mind." She gestured towards the now frantic dog with her head. Ella gently laid Jared down. Her shoulders were aching and she figured that sense they were upstairs that it would be fine to lay him down. She took off her jacket and gave it to Jared. "I don't think it will be good if you go into shock from loss of blood so you might want to keep warm." She said.
"Do it. Now is the time to use the fire. And we aren't leaving her like this, no way. Not if we can help her. If we can, we ought to." Darwin looked to Maxine and Ella and motioned to move Jared closer to the fire. Darwin took a few small steps to make sure he positioned himself between the dog and the girls.
Looking to Georgia, he raised his brow. "We aren't going to leave her. Not without trying to help." With one hand out stretched towards the dog, he made a slow and methodical walk towards the woman. "Easy. Easy now. We're not gonna hurt ya or your master, okay?" His voice was as calm as it was going to be. He did his best to not show fear as he approached but made sure he did it slowly. The last thing he wanted was to get bit by a dog but he couldn't leave the girl like she was either.
So his mind was set and focused on this. He needed to do this. He needed to try.

This was a horrible situation to put a dog in charge of. He was intensely intelligent, knew how to avoid or fight corpses, and was protective of his master's life. But he was still a dog. And his master was in danger and their were strangers in the vicinity.
He whined loudly and darted his head down to his master and back to the stranger. The boy started speaking quietly and moved closer. He could more than just sense the fear that was oozing from him. But he didn't sense malice.
He took a big step forward and grabbed Darwin by his sleeve. Normally the beast was mindful of his size and strength but at the moment he was too worked up for it to cross his mind. The dog yanked him by the arm, closer to his master, and then let go. His front paws tapped the hard floor with anxious energy.

"We just need to fix the wound. Heal it up," Georgua said moving toward the fire. She got low and looked for something to hear it up. "We can leave her, and the dog. She just passed out. We don't know her, we can't trust her. She threatened us. She's crazy. I say we leave her. I can't bring her back to the farm, she'd get exiled in a second if she kept acting like his."
Georgia moved around and found a flat metals object. "Tear his pant leg." She said pointing to Jared's leg. She stuck the metal in the fire, looking to heal the tip. Jared had passed out from the blood loss, from the pain. When it was heated and the pant leg was torn Georgia got close. She got low. Placing the heated too agaisnt his flesh she watched as it burnt it. The smell of burning flesh filled the air, but it was healed.
"Someone help me grab him, the other two grab her. We'll take her," Georgia said grabbing one of Jared arms. "The dog can come too." She looked back at the stairs. "We need to move, toward the car."
