With the bag of coke in his face, Baron sticks his tongue out and licks the white substance before spitting. "That shit's terrible man. I can hook you up with the good shit. And those bikes. You just let me down." He then stares at his exposed belly and gets heated at the earlier comments. "And I ain't fat so don't fuckin call me dough boy!" Realizing threatening him wouldn't help his case he quickly spits out, "Ya'll ain't bad people. You're just scared. A bad ass coming through the woods with a crossbow is pretty intimidating. But I dint come here lookin for a fight! I came here to save ya'll. I'm from the CDC." Knowing this lie contradicts the other about owning Harley and decides to shut his mouth for now looking around.
Hearing a dog barking in the distance he could tell that this place was established. These people were safe enough out here to have a fucking dog barking up the night. "Fine if imma be up here for a while, at least get me a cigarette and some moonshine. Wait, actually I gotta take a shit and these are my only pair of pants. I ain't shittin my pants bro. Let me down and I'll tie myself back up afterwards."
As the the guy Charles knocked out woke up Ernie jumped to his feet. He was loud, making claims. Tobias was questioning, something with cocaine.mthenwhite powder got his attention. Ernie was more of an H man, but cocaine was fun now and then. He approached them, rubbing his hands together as he did.
"Let the poor fat fucker down. Look at him, all flabby and shit." He placed a hand on Tobias's shoulder. "Let's be serious here. This man has to take a shit allrigt, bullshit, ain't no one with hair like that working for the cdc. But since this is my house, I say we cut him down. Some come on now there scars. Use that knife for something useful and cut the fucker down. He deserves that much."
Ernie smiled. "Come on now, if you want some true drugs this tucker can't help you. I can. Meth, Heroine, I got it all. So dont listen to this fucker. Alright cut him down, give him some shine. We don't torture people man. He is harmless anyway, look at his flabby ass he ain't gonna do shit."

The night seemed to be peaceful after the fight. People drinking and off in separate groups actually being people. Seemed like such a long time ago when the world was simple and nights like this would happen often. No one was worried about Walkers and they had a nice fire going. People where drinking and doing assorted other things his eyes mostly stayed on Susan seeing her smile and just watching her talk.
Though the peace seemed too good to be true when a new voice came into play Jaces eyes turned to see someone just approaching the party thinking they would just welcome him. People started to draw weapons And the man Pulled up an unloaded Crossbow and pointed in at Susan. Jace was quickly on his feet and in front of her. Before he had a chance to do much Tobias Grabbed him by the neck and A pistol was in his Face. Jace stepped back and looked at Susan then back to the stranger.
Not even a minute had passed and Charles had brushed past Jace and punched the guy right in the face. The man hit the ground with and thud which Jace believed was a little excessive. The man was obviously harmless it’s amazing he had survived this far. Walking up on random groups of people these days would get you killed most of the time. The man was out cold and Jace watched as Charles ordered him tied up and Then disappeared after Remy.
Watching the man be tied up Jace stood by to make sure things didn’t get out of hand. He wasn’t one to watch people treated bad or tortured for nothing and this man was harmless. An idiot maybe but not any kind of killer that they needed to worry about Standing by the fire just keeping the silence His eyes turned to the woods. He could See a small figure storming out of the woods and knew that could only be one person. He approached sky as she was going towards the house. “You okay?” He said but she just brushed past and went inside. With a sigh he shrugged his shoulders and went back to the group.
The man Woke up and was making all kinds of noise. He was talking all kinds of stuff about a warehouse full of bikes. This made Jace skeptical but he moved closer to listen to the conversation. Tobias moved over and was trying to get info from him and offered him drugs. Jace wasn’t fond of Tobias didn’t trust a thing about him. He was a shady character and he definitely wouldn’t turn his back on him. Listening to the stranger talk more and more shit he just shook his head think how much of a idiot this guy was.
Jace didn’t care much for Ernie either but he seemed fairly harmless as well. “I have to say I agree with Ernie. This guy is basically harmless just cut him down. He’s just talking a whole bunch of shit. Take his weapons and let him down I don’t think we need to worry about him.” Jace spoke up to Tobias watching the man trying to talk his way out of his predicament.
She was just so done with the whole day. Her feelings so confused and jumbled that she didn’t know what to do or how to feel. She didn’t know how to handle this overload of emotions and she just needed time and space to think. Time alone away from everyone Damon, ric and Jace even all the rest. She made her way into the house and glanced at ric still asleep.
Turning her head she moved up the stairs and searched rooms til she found Walker asleep in one of them. Closing the door behind her she moved to the bed to see Walker looking around the room. “Hey there baby boy. Did you have a good nap handsome?” She spoke sweetly to him. She went to work changing him into a dry cloth Diaper and wrapped him up in a blanket.
Sitting on the bed she could feel the bruising in her body from her fight with the Biker. She never was one to complain though getting comfortable leaning against the head board of the bed she Let the baby fill his tummy. She pulled a throw blanket off the bed and draped it over the feeding baby to cover herself. She figured Damon would be following her any moment but she really just needed to be alone.
Once Walker finished his Meal she laid his carefully on the bed. Leaving the room she wandered Out of the room. She found her Way into the attic of the house and looked around. She Came across a Crib in the attic and thought that it was a blessing to have ended up here. Going to work she slid the walls apart and moved it piece by piece into the room. Once she had it set up She put a sheet on the mattress and moved Walker to the Crib At the foot of the bed.
Sky then laid down on the bed and tried to clear her mind of everything. Truth is she didn't know what she wanted or how she felt. She just knew that she was stuck in this mess between what ric wanted from her and what she wanted. She didn't wanna feel for anyone again not after what she went through. Though she felt a closeness with damon over the past few weeks and Trusted him. He was so good with walker and had taken Care of them. "Oh what a mess." She said quietly to herself.

The response the girl gave was far from what he`d expect, she turned to him rather angry for asking such a question and asked in return what it mattered to him. Truth be told it didn`t matter, but he was curious and wanted to see if they were alright, for all he knew they could be plotting about leaving the group, stealing their stuff. As soon as she said things were far from alright and why he would care, she stormed off to rejoin the others. Left speechless and somewhat in a shock, he couldn`t believe what just happened. She must be really upset; he thought, and changed his focus to Damon who remained. It was nice seeing the kid again, the two of them had been through a lot since Georgia and now it seemed he really had grown attached to the young girl who he`d ask to take good care of.
Whatever their business was he`d leave it be, although he had to admit the girl was rather pretty to look at, not to mention tough. Damon was lucky to have her, she had spirit that one, most definitely a good sport in bed. Seeing her leave like that though made him frustrated, Damon tried to avoid what went down by changing the topic somehow and it became apparent he rather wanted to go after her than to stay. He seemed scared of Charles, perhaps it was because of all the things he`d seen him do, but honestly tonight he had nothing to worry about. He didn`t care and he was tired, only wanting to catch up and have a normal chat.
Before he got the chance to answer, Damon went off after the baby mother, leaving Charles completely alone in the dark. Having had enough, Charles made his way out of the bushes and toward where Tobias and the newcomer were hanging. With a firm look and decisive steps, he unsheathed the machete around the leg. “That’s enough!” He said and with a sudden swing he cut the man down from the tree, not caring whether he`d land on his head or not. All things considered, freeing the man was for the best. It may have come as a surprise to some that he let him go, but after having calmed down he agreed the others were right. Without another word, he sat down on one of the logs and started drinking.

Amarie smiled as Arden turned sweet on Scout. She knew he would warm up to the pup eventually. She also knew he would warm up to the others given some time. She knew how rough he was at first, but then he could settle down.
"No, no, you and me in the same bed is fine. We should double up where we can. I'm pretty sure the others won't want to stay here all cramped for long anyways."
She peeked around the corner of the house and saw Sky and Damon marching back up while Charles went back to the fire to cut down the new guy with a rather loud voice. She caught sight of Remy and Owen talking at the other end of the porch and smiled turning back to Arden. "Maybe they'll double up like us. That will open up another bed." She grinned wide as she said that, turning back to Arden as she looked at him.
His gaze had changed towards her and suddenly he wasn't joking. The smile started to fade and she looked down at his feet.
"Yea, so I'm okay with that. Maybe we should join the others at the fire. Get to know them a little more. Plus, the new guy...you know.." She cleared her throat a little as she looked up with that brightness in her gaze again. She wanted to try and lift him up a little. "But, hey! We won, right? We beat these bastards!"

"Yeah good cause they ain't staying. The Charles, his stick of a sister, they're gone. You might not remember but they beat me and Remy, best us. He broke my fucking arm. That bitch, she was on top of Remy, kicking, hit her with her gun. I ain't gonna have them under my roof. Before, we were trapped together, but now that we are free. They ain't staying," Arden said coldly. He meant it, they wouldn't stay. Not if his life depended on it. Something about the face of the biker. He just wanted to punch it again and again.
Arden looked at her. "Owen and Remy? Naw, I don't see it." He could hear the new guy, who the fuck was he? And why show up now.? Ernie was there too and someone with a awful accent. He assumed it was the other biker Tobby. The new guy kept talking, loudly but he would get tired and stop eventually.
He thought about Owen, he could deal with him later. He has to go back to the original Enemy, Charles. Looking away from Amarie he didn't hear what she said, ignored her. Charles was over ther and cut down the guy A arise asked to tie up. There was a reason for that, Arden wanted to talk to him. Here the fucker went around like he owned the fucking place.
He moved away from Amarie. "You said to tie him up right? Don't look tied to me." Arden started to walk off that way. He saw Ernie coming to him and pushed him out of the way. It was t that hard of a push, but enough to knock him down.
Arden went to the fire. Grabbing a log that was sticking out he pulled it out. The end wasn't hot, he could hold it. Walking to Charles he swung the log down at him, hitting his arm and shoulder with all his might. Ash and bark went flying, piece by piece everywhere. He stood over him. See how he could handle that.
"What the hell do you think you're doing walking around like you own the place. You don't give orders. Not fucking here. Don't think I don't remember what you and your whore of a sister did. You ain't trapped no more. So you can't get the fuck off my property you prick. I'm done having you around." He was angry, standing over him. His hand went to his knife, ready in case Charles tried anything.
He flipped the knife so it face downward. He was far enough away, so he couldn't reach him, not without getting up.
Life is strange ain't it? Sometimes we believe we have life figured out but the sad thing about it is that we are so far from actually having it figured out.Rick was really fighting for his life here and the only thing that was keeping him alive was Sky and Walker. If he can just survive this he can get his family and protect them and make better choices.Sky was everything to him, this wasn't no overnight love. The time they spent on the road really made him appreciate somebody to love.He then woke up looking into the ceiling almost in a daze and wondering if he was dead or alive or perhaps having another dream. He tries to sit up but God the pain just to move was unbearable. This still didn't stop Rick because he kept at it even though it hurt like hell but eventually he got up and even to his feet. With bandages around his chest area he touched them with his hand and thought to himself that the woman who patched him up did a good job with no equipment at all but the pain was still there.Hopefully he would eventually heal and be 100% again. The gun wounds wasn't severe because the slugs were taken out him and they didn't touched his organs.Rick then smiles to himself because no matter how fuck up he gets he overcame them.
He then walked over to the window and looked out where he saw people gathered around a fire and then he saw something that made him shook his head when one of the men in the group attacked the biker with the blonde hair with a log by hitting him on his injured arm.Rick thought to himself why Sky want to stay around these people let alone keep their son around this atmosphere. He then decided to go upstairs to see if he would find his son up there or even better Sky.He went upstairs and checked some rooms until eventually seeing Sky putting Walker in a crib. This brought so much warmth to his heart that he almost cried but his pride won't allow him.He then watched her laid in the bed. He then silently entered the room and said "Sky......" He put his head down and thought of what to say because he was really lost for words. What can you tell a woman you love when she had fell out of love with you and not burden her. "Sky,am sorry for ever splitting up with you when we were running from the horde but honestly I thought at the time it was the best decision I could have made. There wasn't a minute I never thought of you,not a moment I didn't had nightmares about you,not a moment my heart didn't tear without you by my side and not a moment I lost love for you... maybe lost hope that you were alive maybe but love never."
He then looked at Walker in the crib and smiled at him thinking of how they dream of being a family one day and now it was possible. "You know he has your beautiful eyes.Hope he has guts like his old man." He then looks at Sky for confirmation to hold him but still gabs him anyway and held his head against his shoulder and his body on his forearm. The funny thing that made him smile more was when Walker laughed as he hold him.Maybe he knew that his father had return and his mother was there as well and maybe he knew that his family had reunited even for a few moments.Rick then stares at Sky.

"No, Arden, I never said to..." And Arden was off like a rocket again, just like what he did when Remy went to go confront the bikers in the first place. She knew he was probably going to spout off again and honestly, she didn't know if he would survive the night if he kept this up. She yelled behind him as he gunned it for Charles.
"Arden! Stop!" But it was too late. He picked up the log and knocked Charles down with it. The others would be on him like white on rice and this was about to escalate to the point of no return.
"Both of you! Stop! We can't do this all night long! You two are going to kill each other!" She heard Ernie laughing and stone cold drunk as he watched his brother and the biker duke it out.
"Ernie! Shut the fuck up! This is serious!"

Remy and Owen, from Arden's bedroom, heard the commotion going on downstairs. She heard Arden's yelling again and when she ran down to the porch, she saw Arden standing in front of the fire confronting Charles again.
With a dogged determination, not even caring if Owen followed her or not, she moved towards the fire behind Amarie, where Arden's handgun had fallen out of his pocket and into the sandy dirt. If these two weren't separated right here, right now, someone was going to die and she wasn't about to let that happen.
Amarie saw her approach and explained how Arden ran up to Charles and hit him with the log, all for cutting down the duct taped new guy who sat there taking it all in. Before either one could kill each other she knew she had to step up and intervene.
"We ain't fucking doing this. We ain't. You hear me?" She took one step closer, looking at Arden with a wild gaze. Her voice rose up more. "You hear me??"
She looked between Arden and Charles as the others sat by the fire, all prepared to intervene if need be and the need was likely there. They were all battle weary which was something she never thought she would be in her lifetime. "I don't give a shit who did what to who. We figure this out. Ain't nobody else gonna die tonight. Ain't nobody else gonna get shot, or burned, or run off into the woods tonight." She brought a hand to her forehead, pushing back long, blonde locks as she spoke again.
"You sit, you drink all the moonshine Ernie can make and you figure it out. We got our home back and if none of you can appreciate it, you can just keep your mouths shut. Especially you Arden."

Toby let Charles handle his own, he'd seen the boy fight before many of times. This place had to much animosity between the others. Toby stood still as Remy spoke nodding with every word and as she finishes Tobias claps wildly, "Aye! The pretty pass has a solid point," Tobias turned to Arden and Charles, "Boys ye both have big peckers! All of us 'ere at camp fuckin' Hope see it. I have had enough shit on thrown at me, at one point tubs accused us of bein' cannibals...give it a goddammn break Charles! Arden!"
Tobias grabbed a jar from Charles, "Sit in different corners like the children," he chuckles, "Leh' the adults have fun!"
It was getting late, and she was tired. Nicole never enjoyed staying out this late without having a somewhat decent place to lay her head, but she was running low on choices. Just like the food.
Wishing she hadn't cut through the marsh was also something that ate away at her. But that also wasn't her plan. The dead had made that choice for her. The mud would slow them if nothing more which allowed her time to squat for a moment. Resting her M4 across her lap, she slowly unslung the shoulder strap of her assault pack from her left arm and flung it around so it was now laying on top of her M4. She quickly unzipped the front pouch and pulled out a small pack of crackers and pulled one from the pack.
It wasn't much but it was a good quick snack. Bringing the salted cracker to her mouth she silently ate the slightly stale morsel and eyed her dirty fingernails. This pair of ACU's were soiled and needed to be cleaned, however now wasn't the time. Maybe tomorrow, but for now she needed to find a place to stay. Glancing over her shoulder to make sure she was still in the clear, she zipped up the back, flung it back into place and slid her left arm through the strap.
That was when she heard it. Unmistakable. Voices. Shouting.
Nicole snatched her M4 and brought it up to bear. Standing with a slight crouch she began moving towards the source. She took her time, checking all her surroundings as she made her way closer. She could still hear shouting but now she could also see a house. On stilts.
"Fuck," she let out below a whisper. She more mouthed it to herself than said it. As she approached, she slowed her roll and began scanning with her weapon at the ready position, flicked the safety to semi and took a knee.
Fire. She could smell it. It didn't take long before she could see it too and that was when she made out several figures fighting and yelling back and forth. Taking aim with her rifle she saw a slightly magnified breakdown of the situation unfolding. It was a scuffle amongst group members most likely, but she knew how that could rapidly fall apart. She stopped advancing all together around 200 meters away and dropped to a prone position, silently observing the scene. A gun was seen pointed at two of the men who had been fighting by a woman.
Nicole couldn't tell what was being said, only that there was still shouting and even laughter? It didn't matter though. She couldn't take the risk. She was alone and there was a large group of people she knew nothing about.
"Do something," she whispered again, this time allowing herself to turn up the volume a bit. Her mind was racing at who these people were and what their intentions might be. She was tired, it was dark and now wasn't the time to be creeping up on them.
With a sigh, she nodded to herself and with her left hand pushed the brim of her patrol cap up slightly.
"Not worth." Slowly she began to crawl backwards. She couldn't take the chance right now. Her boot struck something that gave way slightly. There was no tree there behind her before. She quickly rolled on her right side and brought her weapon up to see one of the dead reaching for her. It was stuck in the mud it seemed and was missing an arm below the right elbow and the left hand was a stub. It moaned painfully as it leaned forward.
There was an audible snap as the shins of the husk broke and the lifeless corpse began to fall towards her. The reaction was immediate. She pulled the trigger and the round caught the ghoul just above the right eye and landed on top of her with a heavy thud.
"God dammit!" she cursed low and rolled back on to her stomach and took sight of the camp not caring if she was temporarily entangled in the ghoul's now 're-lifeless' body. Nic's breathing was sharp but shallow. She focused on the group by the house and felt her stomach twist into a tight knot.
Only one thought circulated through her head now.
Please be cool, please be cool...
Her finger slowly began to curl around the trigger.

Post by Damon Carter on Mar 18, 2016 14:46:18 GMT -5
Damon came through the treeline in search of Skylar, and as he saw her storm off towards the house without paying Jace any mind, he slowed his steps and decided to trail back. Apocalypse or not, he had been with enough women to know when they wanted to be left alone. She had a lot on her mind, she had already expressed as much to him, and he had said all he needed to say. She was beaten and tired, but more than that, she could take care of herself. They were in good company, safe company, and as he let her walk off into the house, he watched her back until it vanished behind the front door.
But it wasn't safe for long. Damon didn't fully know what was happening or why the fight spurned in the first place, but Arden came out of nowhere and put Charles in his place. He didn't know what Charles was going to do just yet, but he had a feeling that it wouldn't be good. Damon frowned, able to sympathize with both parties in that moment. It was always hard to be in a new setting with new people, and to feel out of one's element. That had happened to him when he had to vacate Georgia and travel to Jacksonville, where he met a bunch of bikers and quickly became the outsider. He didn't go out of his way to start fights with them, but the uncertainty was there. But on the other hand, he knew exactly what it felt like to be disrespected in one's own home, and by the same person, no less. As he watched Arden try to defend his home, his status within the place, he could remember a time not too long ago, where he had been in Arden's shoes, though not in the sense of having to resort to physical violence. But he did remember being upstairs, slack-jawed at the way that Charles had invaded his home, but then acted as though he was the outsider, or the one that needed to respect his authority and lower his weapon as if he was the intruder.
But more than anything in that moment, he remembered Dannie. With a small sigh, he remembered the kindness of her nature, but more than that, the way in which he kept Charles on a tight, short leash. If she was here right now, she would have put him in his place in a minute, and it wouldn't be Remy trying to pull them off of each other. At least she was succeeding, but it didn't make Damon's frown lighten any more.
Damn. He missed Dannie.
But as the fight seemed to reach a conclusion, a new threat loomed, just outside their sight. A gunshot rang out, and although no one in the group knew who fired it, it was too close for comfort. Perhaps it was another rival biker coming back from the woodwork, or even just another stranger coming into their midst. No matter what it was, it took precedence over whatever feud that the two men were having, and Damon pointed his gun in the direction of the sound and held it at the ready. He knew he wasn't alone in his defense of the house.
"Guys, we have bigger problems," he said, his eyes trained on the source of the sound. He watched and waited, ready for movement on either side of the brush.

Hanging there Baron listens to the many comments about his weight which sort of sets him off. "Hey fuck ya'll I ain't fuckin fat!" He tries to sit up a bit, his best attempt to pull down his shirt and cover his stomach. But before he can do anything else, he feels the pressure of somebody behind him, cutting him down, dropping him on his back. He arches his back in pain as he looks behind him to see Charles walking away to the fire. The same douche bag that knocked him out. Ernie cuts his hands loose as he stands up wiping off his shirt and looking over at Ernie. "I ain't fuckin fat bitch."
Attention is turned towards the pit as Arden attacks Charles, knocking him on the ground. "Oh shit!" Baron looking excited steps up closer, looking on at the action as a hot blonde breaks it up with a gun drawn on both of them. Nudging Ernie on the shoulder he whispers in a loud tone "Who's the hot blonde bitch?" She spits out some words but all Baron can focus on were her curves, until she chucked the gun across the yard. And then shortly after a gunshot is heard.
Baron ducks, assuming the worst. But after looking around everything seems to be fine. Baron looks over at Remy. "Hey baby make sure the safety is off before chucking it like that. Could of shot me in the ass." Baron looks around at all the angered faces shaking it off. Pretty confident he's safe with these people he ignores the glares and smiles looking Remy up and down. Hoping she'd be flattered by the flirtatious tone in his voice.

Not long after she laid down she heard a familiar voice. The stayed lying down staring at the wall listening to him talk as tears filled her eyes. He wasn’t making this any easier for her and she knew that it was hard on him. She wiped the tears from her eyes and sat up to See Ric holding his son for the first time. She was happy that Walker would get to know his father. She wanted that for him because Ric was a good man and would be a good role model to look up to.
Sky stood up from the bed and walked over to ric and Walker. She stood beside ric and looked down at the little boy smiling. “He is handsome just like his daddy.” She said to the baby looking down at him. She then moved away towards the window of the room and looked out. “Ric I know you did what ypu thought was best. I’m not angry with you and im not trying to punish you for it. I Still do love you just I don’t think its in the way you want from me. I need time to clear my head.” She Said to him trying not to let her voice break while speaking.
Walking back over to The two she put her hand on Ric’s shoulder. “ It’s Late and Little boy’s need their sleep if they are going to grow. You can come back in the morning and spend the whole day with him and we can talk more okay?” She said moving in front of him looking into his eyes with a smile. She knew this was hard for him but it was hard for her as well. She wished she could just go back and change things but that wasn't gonna happen.

(Sorry for deleting my old post, sorry for the inconvinience, I changed my post, hope its alright.)
Once seated down by the fire, Charles began to drink his moonshine to forget and relax, ignoring the stares of the others and whatever questions they might have had. He was tired and wanted peace, and for once in a long time he felt like he could let his guard down. Oh how wrong he was. Looking deep into the flames as he sipped the bottle, holding the machete still in one hand, his mind went to dark places. As everyone faded in the background, Charles failed to notice Arden returning. Before he had the time to react he got hit with a full swing hard on the shoulder, with a burning log that splintered to pieces on the impact. The share force of it made him fall in pain, face down onto the dirt, and things he had held in his hands were tossed. As he wriggled in pain turning around on his back he reached to touch his bad shoulder, feeling the heat tear through his flesh.
By the time he realized what had happened, he could see Arden standing above him with a knife pointing down, saying it was not his place to give orders like he owned the place. With an angry glare they locked eyes and in silence Charles plotted his revenge, now boiling with hatred. He knew that if he stood up to fight back there was a chance he could get stabbed, so he decided against doing anything. The pain in his arm was already too unbearable and he could feel his wounded shoulder start to bleed, seeping through the bandages.

Jace was watching the man tied up when Charles came and cut him down. Thinking it was over Jace watched as Charles went to sit and drink. Jace moved towards Charles and sat on a bench not Far from him. Before he could open his mouth to say anything and try to enjoy the peace. Arden Came storming out of nowhere and picked up a log that had been half in the fire. His mouth was about to open to tell Charles to move but it was too late the Log made contact with his Shoulder and Charles was on the ground.
Man did this guy have a death wish picking a fight with the same guy that already broke him arm. When Arden started ranting on and called Susan a whore that was about as much as he was going to hear from him standing up he moved toward Arden Ready for a fight. “Where I came from we don’t speak about a lady that way. Now look I know you to have differences but haven’t enough people died tonight. Have you forgotten that these people helped you reclaim this Place? I got shot helping with this. Now Remy assured us we would have rest.”
He said calm but firmly. He had enough of the fighting and he was not going to see any more death tonight. There is no way the few of them would’ve won a fight against Knox and his gang. This bad blood needed to end they had other things to worry about like a whole world of zombies wanting to eat them. Hearing a gunshot Jace turned his attention for a second then it went right back to arden.

Remy looked over at Charles and muttered under her breath. "God dammit." She glared at Arden and watched as Amarie got between them. She stood dutifully in front of Arden, both hands on his chest. She could hear Amarie whispering to him.
"Stop it Arden, let it go. We can't do this, not tonight."
She could see the blood seeping through the bandage around Charles' shoulder, the one she had just adjusted and told him to keep still. If there was any more excitement tonight she feared her doctoring skills would be put to the test and she may just fail that test.
She moved to him and sighed, looking down at him as she tended to his shoulder. "Here, sit up. I'm..I'm sorry about my cousin. His temper...he can't control it." She spoke quietly to him, making sure Arden didn't hear her as she helped Charles sit up. Thankfully there was moonshine that he could nurse throughout the night to ease away some of that pain. She would have to bring some back for Owen also. "Come on then, you're bleeding." She tried to fix the bandage around his shoulder, applying some pressure to the wound without compromising the pain. "Just ignore him. He's pissed. He was always the fighter of all the boys." She looked back at her cousin and Amarie before turning back to Charles and speaking even lower. "I ain't a fighter. Your sister handed my ass to me."
For now, she ignored the man that called her baby and hot blonde bitch. There was no need to start any new fights. She didn't have her in her. She just wanted to sleep.

With cold eyes locked on Arden, the others came in between them to stop anything else from happening. Soon as Remy came over to try and help Charles he refused the help, shaking off her touches as he crawled backwards. “Fuck, get off me! Leave me the fuck alone!” He shouted and stood up, turning his back to the crowd. That was enough; there was no way he was going to let anyone feel pity in him for getting a beating. It was far from over, one day, Charles would have his revenge, but tonight he`d let the fucker be. Just as he started walking off there was a ripple of gunfire from the distance, whoever it was sure had a good timing, he thought sarcastically.
Fuck it; let the others deal with it this time, if they believed they could handle it then sure, why not? Moving away from them, he grabbed a bottle of moonshine. He`d use the rest of the night to drink and get drunk, nothing was going to stop him. Hell, he even thought about leaving for good, there was nothing really keeping him there, except for his sister who might have other ideas. As he walked into the dark, toward the creek and bushes, he could feel the pounding of pain going through his shoulder. He didn`t care, if it killed him then so be it.
One hour later, after wandering the wild Charles returned to the house in the swamp, no longer sober. Walking onto the porch with unstable feet he stepped through the door and began to make his way upstairs, eventually finding his way to Skylar`s room, who he just picked randomly. Unaware that she was already in bed sleeping, he noticed the baby in the crib by the foot-end. “Hey there little buddy…” He said with a smile on the face leaning unsteadily over him, having a hiccup. “Waaant a drink?” Charles asked handing the bottle over, only then to withdraw it. “Ha, thought not. Nah you gotta wait til you get older.”
As he leaned against the bed and slid down to sit next to him, he took another sip, looking at the wall in front of him. “I don`t get it, why, why is it…that. “ He paused and hiked. “That, whenever I try to do something, for the common good….I get yelled at for doing it? Heh…people, I`d never understand them. You see, I`ve been misunderstood my whole life….nobody gets me…well, perhaps you do.” He said glancing over at the child. “I don`t think Arden likes me very much, hell, he doesn`t seem to like himself either, maybe that’s his problem?..Ah yes, that gotta be it.”
“Or…he just doesn`t like me invading his territory, perhaps he`s afraid I`m gonna fuck his women? Like an animal, a lion, roarrrr…oops, sorry, shouldn`t be saying the f to you, heh.” He smirked and tried to focus, not able to see very clearly. “I do like women though, Remy, Amarie…and even your mother, fine lookin girls. I`m sure you will to someday, hey, maybe once you get older I can take you to a strip club? That is, if things gets back to normal. Either way, you and me buddy, we`ll rule the world together.”
“Fuck! What a shitty world we live in huh? I guess one just gotta get used to it, seeing the dead and all. You know what I miss? Messing with the cops, ha, you should have seen their faces as I pulled pranks on them as a kid…oh hehehe…good times.” He chuckled, taking another sip and letting out another hiccup. “Damn, I miss Dannie.” Charles sighed, thinking back about the good times they`d shared, both on the streets of Chicago and post outbreak. “She was such an amazing woman you know? Had these big fine tits too, always knew how to calm me down…and now, well she`s gone.” Becoming depressed by his own thoughts and words, Charles started to tear up.
(PS, for any those who might have misread, Charles entered the house one hour later. Also me and sky are continuing in a private thread until the next day)

Arden lost his fuckig mind. The fuck was he doing? All because Charlene let the fat man fall with a thump. What was the big deal, ain't like he actually gave a dam. He was just trying to be macho, but came off as an ass. Every tried to calm it, calm the situation and everything. There would be fighting, aerie was expecting a swing from the biker but nothing came.p
Baron leaned over and asked about the blonde. Ernie looked at him. "The be my fucking cousin you're talking about mate. best be clear though. She a rug munched. Get to close to her keep saying comments like that. She'll have you back up in the tree. Faster than you can say Lesbian bitch."
Seemed Remy and everyone was trying to calm it. Jayce was looking for a fight, but Arden wasn't focussed on him. "Brother I'd he'd their words. We don't need more killing today. Give it a week." He laughed and got the glare from Amarie to shut up. He just winked at her and continued to laugh. She always did like the bad boys.
But chsrles left, and Arden was left standing there looking like a dumbass. Ernie knew no fight was gonna happen, so he simply shrugged.
"Need a drink there chief,"'he asked Baron placing a hand on his shoulder. "Let's get you some moonshine."
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
