In the calm of night, Craig made his way toward Rikers island in a paddle boat he had found somewhere along the coast. He had heard rumours about the old prison now being a thriving community and he wanted to check it out himself, believing there could be a lot of stash hidden inside that would be worth stealing. After watcing the place through bionuculers from a safe distance for a few days he had made up a pretty good idea where he could slip through unoticed, but it was risky, some of the nearby water was shallow and one never knew what was beneath. Not to mention the patrolling guards on the island, who went about with their flashlight and rifles.
Clad in dark pants, a black hoodie, cap, and a scarf covering his mouth, Craig silently made his approuch, paddling carefully to not cause a loud splash. When he risked being spotted, he stopped, then waited and moved again. Once he reached the dockyard on the northside, he abandoned the boat below the docks to swim ashore. Using the dark as cover he remained crouched as he followed in the heel of guards, watching their patterns as they moved around. Eventually he made it to a large building, which was more heavy guarded than the rest.
Moving around the place, he figured there was no way in through the doors. He had to find alternative means, which meant any window or a different opening was an option. When he didn`t find anything, he knocked a guard out and took his clothes, tying him up so he wouldn`t be able to alert anyone. Faking a cough, pretending to be someone else, he slipped past the guards, entering what seemed to be an improvised hospital. The halls were somewhat quiet during the night, although there was some who chattered and walked about.
As he began to look for the storage room, he did his best to not get recongized as an intruder. When footprints sounded off in the distance, getting closer, he fast made his way into an office that appeared to be empty. Luckily it was and as he hid in the dark, he lot whoever was coming by walk past. Once in the clear, he looked around the room, seeing it belonged to someone named Dr. Vega. Thinking that she maybe had some things hidden in her cabinet, he walked over to dirk open the lock, which he did. With his back turned against the door, he searched for morphine and other types of medicine, which these days was a rare commodity.
