Knox had made them sit and stir for a few weeks now, occassionally driving by the house, firing a shot or two, making them well aware they would be killed if they tried to come outside to the front of the house. He was just playing with them and they were just taking it. But they didn't leave and that told Knox they were preparing for something. Surely the deaths of their men would have been enough to make them give up on all this. But they were still here and clearly ready for a fight.
He decided on this day to pull all his men back to the little house they had been occupying over the past few months. This was a good set up. They had moonshine, weapons, supplies they stole from other people and a sweet spot of heaven by the river. His nerves were on edge today and he wasn't quite sure why. He was outside, moving in circles on the property with rifle in hand. All the bikes were parked on the side of the house, blocking up the driveway so they couldn't just sneak up on them without knocking over a bike or triggering a few alarms they had set up in case walkers came.
He wanted to be ready and he would make sure his rivals were going to be dead by sunset.
Everything had seemed to just be rushing by these days. It had been a few weeks since Walker was born and things had been quite tense around this house. Skylar was surrounded by strangers for the most part. She had JB who was like an older brother and it made things easier. Damon had become her friend over the time and the only person she trusted other than Jace. Damon had been there for her when she needed someone the most and he was about the only other person he trusted around Walker. Seems the impending fight kept everyone on edge Skylar kept to herself mostly and took care of her one priority.
The rival group had been driving by every few days shooting off rounds into the sky and making hard for anyone to get out of the house. Sky could overhear talks and planning to take on these other men. JB was part of the planning and against her begging him to stay out of it he was going to fight with them. Sky picked up her son and took a walk down the hall and stairs to see the rest of the group just anxiously preparing for this fight. Jace was with a brown haired girl named susan talking to her seemed they had been talking a lot lately and came friends. Skylar hadn’t really spoken much to anyone except Damon.
Hear eyes focused on a blonde haired man who was the leader of damon’s group. Damon said his name was Charles and to be honest she really hadn’t planned on being on a first name basis with any of them. Sky approached the man who was standing alone in the kitchen. Stopping in front of him she looked him dead in the eye with a firm and serious gaze. “Charles is your name right? Look I’m not one to sugar coat things or beat around the bush. Ace is going out there to fight with you against my wishes. He seems to believe you are some sort of trustworthy. You better be watching his back and make sure he comes back to me and his nephew. He sure as hell is going to be fighting for your family.” She said firmly to him with a fire in her voice. Her eyes never left his not once as she stood there. She may be a small girl compared to him but she would have no problem harming him if he caused Jace to be killed.
The weeks seemed to pass by so slowly for Jace Being confined to the house made it worse see as the rivals drove by every so often just to stir everyone one up. Waiting seemed to be the hardest part of all this. Everyone being cramped in close quarters just made everything so much more tense then what it should’ve been. Didn’t help That Skylar had basically been begging him not to fight the whole been and then giving him hell when he wouldn’t listen to her. Luckily for the most part he had made Friends with Susan and Charles for the most part though he was very distant to say the least.
Then tension between Arden and Charles had also made things uncomfortable. Basically keeping the groups to themselves unless they were discussing plans for taking out the enemy Jace was talking to Susan. His eyes looked to see Skylar and her baby approaching Charles in the kitchen. He just looked at the floor and shook his head with a sigh. This was going to be interesting to say the least never knowing what may come out that girls mouth. Jace didn’t dare stop her either because he was not about to make her any madder at him then she already was. Jace made his way to the kitchen and made it there just in time to hear her demanding things.
Walking up behind her he wrapped his hands around her arms to try and lead he away and she turned to him. “Don’t you even dare JB. Remember last time?” Skylar snapped as she spun around to face him. Jace just through his hands up in the air and watched as she made her way back upstairs. When she was gone he Looked at Charles and just shook his head. “Sorry about that man. What can I say my little sister is a badass.” He said with a chuckle as he looked around the kitchen then to all the faces in the living room.
Rick sat in his car hidden as he watched the bikers with firearms ride around a house shooting in the air and screaming as if to be taunting someone. He had been watching them for over 2 weeks now and from his observation these guys look to be real fucking nasty.Just as he thought to himself they were bikers and they looked well armed and merciless.
He then bite into this rat he had caught last night and cooked him this morning. It was almost as if Rick had become some sought of savage over the past months. This was definitely not him and not to mention eating rats but he guess that what a broken heart and survival will do to you,it would change your most inner being. When the bikers drove off he carefully came out of the car and sneaked up to the house and pray to God that if survivors were in there they we'rent hostile but he needed a good place to sleep, something warm to eat and God knows better food to eat.He then sneaks to the back of the yard and saw a back door which look as of it was the kitchen. He then went on the wall on the side of it and tried to peek in.He saw human figures but couldn't make them out.He then took out his pocket knife just in case he had to get dirty and defend himself.
Arden came down the stairs he was getting restless. But he knew he couldn't fight, at least not fully. His arm was still broken, practically in a sling twentyfour seven. He would glare st Charles every time in passing. It was because of this fucker they had to wait, because of him he couldn't fight st full strength. The first few days he was tempted to just slit the mans throat in his sleep, but fear the others would retaliate against his family kept him from doing it.
He saw the biker and shot another glare. Moving into the kitchen he came up to Remy. "We need to do something. We are out of supplies. We can't leave the house. The few that had been watching us, they left. We have a chance now, head to the property, get the jump on them. There's enough of us now, we can come from all sides." He looked at his cousin. "Either that or we jump ship, head to a new spot, and keep planning. Ain't no other way."
He didn't like the bikers st the property, and he didn't like the bikers here. He didn't know what other option they had left. "We do this, we need to do it now. Get everyone ready and walk over there."
He looked up at Amarie, they hadn't really talked since they were alone. He didn't know what to say to her if he did. He had been with everyone, they talked, but not alone. He had to plan, prepare, childish stuff could come later, after they won.
Arden looked at his arm. "I still only got one wing. Can't shoot worth shit with my good hand, and can't use the other. But if we wait any longer, they'll starve us out."

Things had been tense over the past few weeks with everyone holed up together in this little three bedroom farmhouse. She had taken to sleeping where she could, mostly in the same room as Amarie and Arden and she had noticed some strange tension between the childhood friends. But she knew Arden was getting restless. They all were. The wait was killing them and if they didn't act soon, the bikers down the road would kill them first.
She kept insisting they get their shit together first. Arden had to heal, Susan had to get her head together, the baby had to grow a little and Charles' group needed to understand how she operated. She paid little attention to their musings as she stuck to her own. Conversations seemed awkward but they all had one goal in mind. Kill the Fugitive biker gang and reclaim Arden's family home. Charles was in it for the slaughter of the bikers and every time they rode by to scare them, it took everything not to attack.
She had shown Charles the cache' of weapons and ammo in the attic, much to the chagrin of Arden, but she made him a promise that she was going to make good on. Besides, they needed those weapons if they were going to make any headway against Knox and his gang.
As she stood in the kitchen with a glass half filled with water she listened to the conversation and the woman with the baby spoke up. She had to lay down the law with her before she did anything that would put her baby in danger. "You're going to stay here, Skylar. You, Damon and Amarie. Damon and Amarie will stay behind to protect you and your baby. We'll take care of the fight and when it's clear, we'll come and get you." Barring they didn't all get themselves killed in the process.
When Arden came into the kitchen she turned around to face him, leaning against the counter and nodding in agreement. "He's right. We have to move, today. There's no more food and who knows how much longer they will keep messing with us before they decide to attack. I'm going to sneak in the back of the house with my bat and clear from the inside out if you all make a distraction outside. Ya'll got the guns and the know how."
Shaun came into the kitchen just as Remy finished. "If you're going to sneak in the back I'll come with you. I'm not a good shot, better with the meele weapon. Scout can stay here, with Amarie, she seems to be able to control him. Plus if a biker get's in the house he'll put him down." Scout gave a bark in response and Shaun patted his head.
He looked at the others. Days ago he wanted to leave. He didn't want to fight with all of them. This wasn't his fight. But the bikers prevented him from leaving. It delayed finding his brother. He was probably dead by now because he was stuck in this house. That angered him, anger he wanted to take out on the bikers.
"If we should do this we should go now, not waste time. When it's over we can discuss what happens next. Keep the mind focused on the fight." He looked at the bikers as he said this, more Tobias and his crew than Charles. He knew the biker wanted revenge. "What do we do if they surrender? Or some of them? I'm not about to kill a man who isn't threatening me, one who isn't armed."
He paused, "if they left then they are probably waiting for us. The left us a gap to leave, and expect us to attack them. We may be walking it a trap."

The past few weeks had given Damon a new sense of purpose within the group. He had never been the type to charge off into battle, or engage in a fight that wasn't his own unless it was necessary. When Charles and Dannie had found him, he had been hiding out on his own for a reason. Although it was the fight to escape Georgia that inevitably brought them together and insisted on their continued travel, the biker feud that had erupted at the motel in Jacksonville had left him out of place and unsure of how to respond. While he had grown up in Chicago with his father, who had been a mechanic that bikers would frequent, it wasn't the type of environment that he had a place in, and the discomfort had become even more apparent when they ran into the new gang here in Louisiana.
Finding the pregnant Skylar had been a scare for everyone in the group, but the birth of her son had proven to provide normalcy for Damon where it was due. He had never had any siblings, and didn't have much experience with children in general. But it was much easier to help take care of a child and a recovering mother than it was to grab a shotgun and walk into the line of fire. He didn't have the life experience that the others had, and had been a student and amateur mechanic before the world turned on its head. He was no biker, no cop, and was still wet behind the ears when it came to combat with fire arms and how to handle an aggressive situation. It wasn't as though he was weak or inept; he had survived on his own for an entire year before Charles and Dannie had stumbled upon him. But the matter still stood that he didn't have a hand nor a care for biker politics, and he didn't understand the underlying rivalry amidst the volatile attacks themselves. It wasn't his fight to engage in, and if he could avoid dying for a cause that he didn't have a hand in, he would rather go down that route.
So when Remy announced that his place in the grand scheme of things would be to stay back and protect Skylar, he was happy to oblige. He had grown to befriend the woman over the small amount of time they spent together, and trusted her more than some of the people that were within his own group. Perhaps it was because Charles changed so drastically after Dannie's death, or maybe it was because of Tobias's whirlwind nature that he felt he could place trust in her so quickly. Maybe it was even because her kind nature reminded him of Dannie, someone he had grown to miss in these trying times. Whatever the reason was, he didn't fully know it himself, but he was more than willing to continue the responsibility of taking care of Skylar and her baby, with Jace shouldering the weight as well.
"All right," he nodded his understanding as he overheard the conversation and stood to his feet. He let the others devise a plan of action, and moved to the staircase that Skylar had vanished to. He trotted after her, careful not to make too much noise for the sake of the child, and came to stand along the step she was on. He put his hand on the banister for support and spoke to her in quiet, relaxed tones. "Hey, did you eat yet today? I can grab you something if you're hungry."
The weeks of being shut in had taken its toll on their food supply, and he knew it. But he also knew that no one was going to be challenging a new mother on her need to eat in order to survive for her baby. He couldn't get her much, since the pantry was becoming scarce, but something was better than nothing.

Upon encountering a group of strangers in the bayou of Louisiana, things hadn`t turned out quite the way Charles had hoped. A fight had broken out due to a misunderstanding and Tommy had been killed as a result of it, the noise that it made drew unwanted attention, alerting everyone in the area, including a hostile group of bikers, who in the past had been the nemesis to Dread Skull Club. Despite being taken by surprise, the two groups of strangers managed to deal with the new threat, killing two bikers who sought to do more harm than good. In the midst of the chaos a baby was born and a truce was made, walkers flooded the scene and desperate they all decided to seek refuge in a house not far away. People died trying to get there, one who supposedly passed away was Susan`s lover, Hannah.
Once settled in, surrounded and outnumbered, a deal was offered by Remy to help each other out. With their differences put aside, Charles grudgingly agreed to her terms knowing there was little else one could do about the situation, especially when their rival gang had taken their ride out of there away from them. At least they would gain something for their trouble, revenge and a restock of supplies, which they sorely needed. Over the course of weeks that went by, they planned their next move, waiting for Arden to get better after the beating he took. Charles and Arden kept their distance from each other due to what had happened, but the longer they stayed in the house, the worse it got.
Charles began to question whether they actually should wait or not for Arden to get better, thinking they could handle it themselves with what they had. Every time the bikers returned to stir things up, he wanted to go out there and get rid of them alongside Tobias, yet was held back by Remy and others. The morale dropped with the lack of food, not being able to venture outside to get more. Susan`s behavior didn`t help the matters either, being angry at him for having stopped her from going after Hannah. He learned about their relationship, that it hadn`t been a normal friendship, but one out of love for each other. It didn`t bode to well for Charles as he found it rather surprising, believing she could have done better with someone else.
Luckily during her time of grief she found someone else to confine in, Ace, a man considered a brother to Skylar, the baby`s mother. Charles had no rejection against it, only happy that someone was able to calm Susan down when he couldn`t, and he thought Ace to be a good man, even though he knew little about him. Three bedrooms had been divided amongst the people, those who didn`t get a room was allowed to sleep wherever they`d like. Skylar and her baby was given one room, Remy, Arden and Amarie shared another, whereas Charles took dibs on the third being a leader amongst his kin.
A routine on who stood guard by the window was established, to make sure nothing unforeseen happened beyond the occasional. When doubts about whether Remy could uphold her deal or not, once food had gotten scarce, she showed Charles the cache of weapons and ammo at the attic, against Arden`s will, to prove she made good on her promise. It was distributed amongst Charles`s friends, except for Skylar and Ace who wasn`t part of his group. They settled with what they was given, though knew it wouldn`t be enough to survive.
Standing in the kitchen, loading the magazines over the map of the area, Charles discussed how to proceed with Remy and Amarie when Skylar all of sudden came walking up behind him. She forced him to look her in the eyes, asking straight up for him to protect Ace during the upcoming fight, knowing he would do whatever it takes to protect them. With a frowned look and a smirk looking her over, thinking she was brave to walk up to him like that, he said nothing, letting Remy speak her mind. Shortly after Ace came into the picture, grabbing Skylar in hope of taking her away from the decision makers. In response she quickly turned around in a fury, demanding him to stop. Curious Charles watched and gave Ace a smile, intrigued by the girl as she walked off upstairs.
By the time she went up, Arden came downstairs, still with his broken arm in a sling. His wounds and swelling on his face seemed to have healed nicely, though his behavior remained the same. Whenever they were in the same room together the atmosphere changed, one could cut the tension with a knife. Arden glared at Charles, and he back at him. What he said about the situation was true, they had to do something before it got worse. Good thing Remy approved, she suggested that she should approach their house from the back, attack with her bat. However what she wanted to do sounded risky.
After a moment of listening to them speak, Charles spoke up. "Well, you know me, I`ve always been the one in favor of attacking early, so I`m glad we`re finally doing it. Now what you suggest could work, but it's dangerous. Even though if we were able to distract most of them, we don`t know how many will be inside the house. Not that I doubt your abilities, but...you could be needed elsewhere." He turned looking at Remy, worried that she might get hurt in the act. Just then Shaun appeared, saying he was willing to go with her. Letting out a sigh, Charles stopped filling the magazines and knew they already had made up their mind and wouldn`t be convinced to do otherwise.
Shaun continued on asking what they would do if some of them surrendered, to which Charles replied. "We don`t take prisoners, we better make sure they never return to do more harm." As he said that, he glanced at Arden. "As for you, are you certain you`ll be able to fight in your condition? You`ve still not fully healed, what good can you do with one arm?" The way he said it sounded harsh, though his concern were true. "Perhaps it would be better if you stayed here with the rest. We could switch you out with Amarie, a sniper would be useful, though she ain`t that good of a shot." Charles was being blunt as his eyes met Amarie`s, not wanting to upset her, only being true about how it went down earlier, still holding a slight grudge about how she tried to kill his sister.
"Also, what do we know about the area? You`ve shown me some, but not everything." He faced Remy, motioning over to the map. "Knowing Knox he has probably everything prepared, waiting for us to take the bait. I`ve faced him before, know how he works...he has no doubt fortified the place, feeling nice and secure amongst his men. Best way to get him would be to make him indecisive, force him out of his comfort zone, show him that his men can`t protect him. A distraction would be ideal, though he might see that coming." Charles stated, concerned about the plan. "If we could use the truck out there as a nice surprise, it might give us a better advantage."
Charles waited for the others to speak, but then noticed movements behind the boarded window at the kitchen. Someone, or something was looking through. "Shit!" He cursed out loud, seeing that whoever it was caught his gaze. Fearing that it could be someone from Knox`s gang who had overheard their plans, Charles rushed out the backdoor with pistol drawn. Once outside and around the corner, he aimed at the stranger, able to make out he was carrying a knife. "Hold it right there! Whoever you are, drop your weapon and put your hands on your head!" Unafraid he moved closer toward the man, pistol up.
Without waiting he knocked the knife out the way and grabbed a hold around his neck, barrel against his head. "Drop the knife, one move and I`ll shoot." Forcefully he moved him inside, through the same way he went. "Looks like we got an intruder, maybe he got some information for us." Charles said with a grin, confident that it was one of Knox`s men, although he didn`t wear the vest.
(Hope you are fine with this Ric, did it to speed things up, as we got a rush to catch a fight. xD)

After the kiss, she and Arden hadn't talked too much. She didn't know what to say even though they both knew how they felt about each other. She knew anything other then what happened would be a distraction and she also knew that if things went further, their feelings for each other would start to grow roots and right now, feelings were a burden. If something were to happen during the fight she knew how devastated either of them would get. It was already too late though. They were childhood friends and if something were to happen to him she wasn't even sure how she could deal with it. At least, this whole time, she knew he was alive.
She stood in the kitchen quietly allowing the discussions to continue when the new mother came down wanting Charles to protect her brother. She didn't want to get in the middle of any familial situations but when Charles started talking about strategy she had a bit of an idea.
"Along the river there's a fence that you could use, I suppose. But, if you want a distraction, instead of going in like targets, why don't you use that old car you came in Remy?" She looked at Charles who seemed to be listening at this point.
"Empty the gas tank, then douse the car. Set it on fire and roll it right into the front yard. Maybe even put some bullets in there, set them off. Who knows, maybe a couple will get hit?" She tapped her finger to her lip as she thought about that. "When they run out to see the car fire, Remy and Shaun go through the back while the rest of you fire from the fence?"
She looked at Arden to see if that plan was feasable. After all, he was the last one in that house and could know if that plan was a good one or not. But when Charles mentioned Arden as being a possible lame duck and her going in his stead, she knew that would not go over well. She stepped between them before Arden went off the hinges again.
"Arden is fine. He can fight and he should. It's his house so you don't get to dictate that." She looked at Arden as she said that, making sure he understood that she was on his side. Charles did insult her shooting abilities, but he was right. She wasn't a good shot from that far away.
"You were a lot further away when I was firing at you and your sister. If these guys come close to here, they'll be sitting ducks." She grinned as she spoke turning a bit to Charles and proudly beaming. "I was the only girl in these parts to win the big stuffed animal at the state farm when I shot down every rubber duck you know." Which she was, but really, rubber pellets and real bullets were a far different game to play.
Bad enough that she had to sit out the fight she didn’t want to worry about Jace while he was gone. If Blondie knew what was good for him he would bring back JB in one piece and breathing. Her mind was on a million different things right now and she didn’t want to even thing about this fight and who would return if any. She came to a stop at the top of the stairs and kind of zoned off into another world. When a voice rang in her ears she jump which made Walker start fussing.
With an irritated expression she turned to the person beside her and was about to start on them but realized it was Damon. Her facial expressions mellowed when he asked if she had eaten. “No I haven’t really eaten anything. Just can’t seem to muster the appetite to eat with all this going on.” Skylar said with a faint smile then she moved down the hall and into her room. She laid Walker on the bed and turned to look at Damon standing in the door.
“You know there is a chair over there in that corner that looks cozy you can crash on it if you like for as long as we are here.” Skylar said to him with a smile not knowing where he had been curling up to sleep. She had offered it to JB but he seemed to spend most him time talking to Susan. “Besides JB you’re the only person I really trust here plus I don’t mind having the company. Walker likes you also so make yourself at home in here.” She said nicely to him and then turned to sit on the bed with her son who was now back asleep.
Skylar’s attentions turn when she heard loud voices that seemed to be outside the house. She grabbed her gun and looked at Damon. “Watch Walker Damon I will be right back Got to go shut some people up. I swear no one understands that babies need sleep here.” She said aggravated and headed out the door and down the stairs towards the kitchen. She heard Charles voice out back and she moved out the back door with the gun up. She had enough of people getting noisy and waking up her son.
When she made it out the door and saw the man that Charles had by the neck she raised her gun at Charles. “Charles let him go now! He is no threat to us.” She said her voice raised and kept her gun on him. Jace came shooting out the back door at this point. “Sky what the hell are you doing? You don’t know he could be a threat. He could be an enemy.”Jace said calmly trying to reason with her. She never took her eyes off Charles. “He’s not a threat. I know because that’s the father of my child. Let him go now.” She said lowering only her voice. Her stomach sank seeing the man she thought was dead. She honestly didn’t know how to react she just didn’t want him to die again.
Rick then overheard the people putting a plan together to try and attack the bike gang he had been spying on for weeks. He then tried his best to look through the window without being seen but the curtain on the door window blocked his view.
Before he can even try and duck without being seen a man with blonde hair who look to be in a biker gang burst out of the building and grabs him by the neck and put a pistol to his head and questioned who he was. Rick then says "Look bro my name is Rick and am not here to harm you.I just want some food and a place to stay."
The man then knocks the knife out of his hand and forces him inside and tells the group of people in the kitchen that they had an intruder from the bike gang. "You got me all wrong bro.I am-" before he can finish he is interupted by a woman who points a pistol at the blonde hair man and tells him to put down his weapon.Another man comes in the kitchen and ask what she is doing.Rick then really looks at the woman and immdiatly overwhelmed with strength got out of the man grasp and hugged the woman tightly."Sky.....this has too be a dream.Oh my God is it you?" He said now looking at her face and holding examining to see if it really was her.
He then looked at her stomach"The baby?Did you have it?Is our baby okay? Are these people holding you captive?" Rick then look around the kitchen at the people now looking at him.
"Shaun's right, it's probably a trap," Arden said calmly, "but we can't sit around with our thumbs up our ass."'he looked at the map. "You only got one way in, down that road. But there's open field on either side. Trees surround most of the property, large shed off to the west. Fences all the way around, metal gates, posts. River runs out the back." If Charles had any questions of his home, he could answer. He knew every opening, every weak and strong point in the property.
"We could use the car. Put a brick on the gas, let it drive, alert them men. While they react to it, we can pick them off from the sides, shoot out the rest. There's a shop attached to the house. When I was there last they were all inthe kitchen, mostly the main house. I burnt down the shop, so it may be wide open. I doubt they repaired it. If it's open we have the easiest entry there and the front. Remy should enter through the back. I agree about the prisoners. Any who surrender we'll round up, execute them one by one. Not all of them will be bikers. There were farm hands with them. One of the ones who was watching us ran a general store with his pa. If they surrender I want to look them in the eye, kill them for betraying us."
He looked at Amarie. "Instead of the car a distraction could be the horse. May cause less damage if it gets out of control. We douse it on fire, send it loose. The panic, noise it makes, will cause more of a distraction. They won't expect it either. It will work better."
He moved his arm. "I can still fight. Just won't be much good till I get up close."
Chsrles hesrd soemthing and Arden immediately drew his gun. As a man came inside he kept it aimed as Charles dealt with it. The man started to talk, he apparently knew Sky
"The fuck are you," Arden said gruffly. "You with the fucking bikers? Answer yourself assfsce." He kept his gun pointed at the man, not caring if he knew the recent mom, or was hugging her. The man made the wrong move, he would shoot.
"We need to move. Times ticking away. Sky, you trust him? If so, will he stay or go? Decide fast. If not one of those, tell me which side of the head he wants the bullet in." Arden was ready to move enough sitting around.

"I'll grab us something to eat in a bit, then," he replied. He fought off the frown of concern that threatened to spread across his face, not wanting to worry her or make her feel pressured to eat. He could understand why she felt as though she couldn't, but at the same time, he understood that if Walker was going to be able to continue to feed from her body, then that body needed to be fed itself. Within the hour, he would rummage up something small for them and coax her into eating, he decided.
As she entered the bedroom and lay Walker down atop the comfy bed, he leaned in the door frame and watched the way the sunlight danced in through the boards on the window and cast itself off of her dark hair, the way it settled shadows in the nooks of her face. The image of her settling down in the bed with the baby brought a small smile to his face, and in that moment, in the temporary silence of the home, he could have sworn that they were in another time, another place, where the apocalypse didn't exist and everything felt okay. Skylar always seemed to provide such normalcy without even trying.
So when she mentioned him moving into the bedroom and crashing on the chair, he nodded and returned the smile. "I'll get my things in here tonight. It isn't much." That was an understatement. Unable to leave the house, he only had a few weapons to his name downstairs. He rotated between sleeping on the couch, the floor, and keeping watch at the window. He would sleep better upstairs in the room with her and the baby, and not just because the chair did indeed look much more comfortable than the floor. Over the past few weeks, after caring for her and the baby closely, a strange kind of protectiveness had taken root in him, and he knew he would sleep easier with the two of them at a closer proximity. Plus, she was right when she said that the baby liked him, so he could get up with him in the night when he cried and give Skylar some much needed sleep if she would allow it.
But right when he was about to propose the idea to her, loud voices erupted from downstairs and she exited the bedroom to take care of it. He watched her leave and frowned when the baby started to stir and whine, but he was on it before he had a chance to really cry. He scooped the baby up and held him the way that Shaun had instructed him to the day he was born, making soft coos of comfort to him as he rocked him lightly in his arms.
"It's okay, little man..." Damon kept his voice low and soft, partially to soothe the baby and partially to better listen to the commotion downstairs. He moved to the doorway and stood just out of sight, able to hear only snippets of the conversation. He couldn't hear much, but what he caught was troublesome. It seemed as though there was a stranger in their midst, but that stranger was the father of Skylar's child. He heard the reunion briefly as it flitted up the staircase, and when he heard the baby's little coo, he realized that he had stopped rocking.
He had stopped moving, and as he came back to reality, he felt the frown that was on his face and couldn't remember when it had gotten there. For the briefest of moments, he felt shame for the way that he felt. He should have been happy for Skylar to be reunited with the father of her child. He should have been happy for the extra help, the extra hands. But for reasons he didn't fully understand yet, he couldn't shake the negative feeling that welled up in his chest.
"I'm sorry about that, buddy," he said softly to the baby. He started to rock him again and stepped away from the door, from the scene downstairs. He didn't think that the stranger would try to hurt Skylar, and even if he did, there were more than enough people downstairs that could handle it. He returned to the bedroom and sat down in the chair, rocking the child against his chest in an attempt to soothe him. For now, he would wait for Skylar's return and try to make sense of the new-found fist in his chest.
A state of total shock and just a sinking feeling in her stomach was over her. She didn’t know why she just felt sick and dizzy like the world was spinning. The last person she every thought she would see was here in front of her. She had feelings come her but none happy just overwhelmed mostly She came out of her thoughts when she was pulled into a Tight hug. Ric was holding her and asking her questions about their baby.
She shook loose of his hands and hug not returning it and stepped back from him. “No I’m not being held captive. It’s safe here and these people have been generous to me and walker.” She said to him lowering her gun that’s when Arden approached asking questions and it was almost to much for her to muster up answers. She looked at Arden who had his gun aimed at ric. “I trust him Arden, He is no threat to anyone here. Let him stay.” She said calmly. Motioning for ric to follow her she headed upstairs quickly.
Walking in the door she smiled seeing Damon with Walker. This had become her life and she had grown so accustomed to Damon’s presence around her and the baby. Being around him and just talking made her world more peaceful and for some reason its was she had a pit in her stomach about ric returning. “Damon… Walker’s daddy is here. He’s coming up to see his son if you wouldn’t mind give us a few minutes.” She said as she walked to Damon and picked up Walker from his arms. She leaned to his ear as she did so. “Stay close by in case I need you to remove him.” Skylar whispered to him.
She didn’t want him to leave really but It was best if Ric got to see his son for a short visit. She was so overwhelmed with the days events she wanted to just curl up and hide somewhere. She wasn’t expecting or ready for this. This would not be pleasant in any case. Ric seemed happy to see her but she didn't really feel the same and that made it worse.
When Rick hugged Sky he felt no response back but continued to hug her anyway because he was overwhelmed with the happiness of just seeing her.He then saw a next man pointing a gun at him with a sling and looked to be pretty banged up then he looked at Sky who told the man he is no threat and he is the father of her child. She also told Rick these people were generous to her and Walker which made Rick thought that he had a son and his name was Walker.
Sky then motioned for Rick to follow her out of the kitchen and into a living room where he saw more people who looked back at him strange which made him feel out of place for a moment. As he then follow Sky up some stairs in the house he felt like Sky wasn't enthusiastic as him to be in each other presence which made him wonder if she still loved him or worst found another love. She then brought him to this room in the corner and led him inside where he saw another man holding his child.Instead of him getting angry he was overwhelmed with excitement and more happiness to see his son,the son he helped brought in this fucked up world with the love of his life.Sky then whispered something to the man which made him kind of jealous and wondered if they were together.I mean come on he hadn't seen Sky for nine months,I mean nine fucking months. Now I don't know but to him that seemed like a long time especially in this now messed up world she could have definitely moved on but he thought to himself, did her love for me die that quick?Did she fell in love with this guy or someone else? All this was too much for him so he spoke up. "Sky why this motherfucker is holding my son?" Even though he knew he was overreacting he couldn't help it he was jealous and felt left out.
(OOC: Ricardo, Damon and skylar are moving temporarily to a private thread so no one is confused and waiting for us to post. We will rejoin this post when the other finishes)

Remy liked the idea of setting the car on fire and pushing it into the line of fire, although she didn't want the house or woods around it to catch fire. They would have to manipulate the situation to their advantage to make sure it would work. "Me and Shaun can do that then run off to the treeline to get to the back of the house. As long as you can cover us we can get back there." Still, she never mentioned she didn't know much about guns. She could pull the trigger and shoot, but accuracy was a different story. When Arden mentioned they set the horse on fire though, she looked at her cousin as if he had just gone insane. "No, we're not going to set a horse on fire! What's wrong with you Arden?" It wasn't even their horse to claim for that matter.
As they were preparing to go and the plan seemed to be hashed out, there was another distraction. Charles spotted the guy as everyone else joined in and from what she could gather from the interactions, this guy was the father of Sky's baby. "Well, I'll be damned. Looks like the baby daddy has been stalking you Sky." She wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not until he was brought in and they could get back to the task at hand. She was certain the man that arrived would want to stay and protect his child and the mother of it, which meant Amarie could get a little closer.
There was a silence between them all as Charles finally backed off the man that arrived. He was turning back to the task at hand which meant they had to focus on fighting the enemy, not each other. "Just get your guys ready, Charles." Charles seemed like such a formal name to use for him. As the president of some biker club, she expected him to have a rougher nick name that had some meaning behind it. But he just used some normal name, the other guy, Tobias, at least had a nickname of Cocaine Wayne and she often times saw why. He was obvious, if not proud, of the fact he had white powder on him at all times, sniffing it right off the end of a knife right in front of them all. He didn't care his addiction was no secret and that worried her. Arden told her that Ernie stashed drugs in various hiding places in the house and if this Wayne guy was to find them things could get out of hand. Especially if he got his hands on the meth.
"Arden, you stay with them. Shaun, you're with me. We're going now." She went back to the front room and grabbed her bat with the long nails at the end and a knife she found laying on the floor and a pack of matches, not really caring whose it was. If anyone needed it, it was going to be her. She went outside to the little truck Amarie had parked there. That would have to be the car they used to initiate all this and although she knew Amarie didn't like it, she knew she was overruled in any objections she may have had. Really, they could get a car from anywhere if she really, really wanted one.
Once outside, she started to dig the knife into the upholstry to make sure the car caught fire. "Shaun, can you siphon the gas out? Let's roll it about halfway there before we douse it. Maybe we can ram the front gate with it." As they both worked to get the truck ready to become a fireball, she saw Shaun jump into the bed with a thumbs up that he was ready to go. She started the engine and looked in the rearview hoping she was not going at this alone with Shaun. They were as good as dead if that were the case and if they weren't ready inside by the time all the gas was siphoned out, then they were far too slow to move on all this. She knew how badly Charles wanted to kill that other biker gang's leader. He was practically chomping at the bit to get it done.
As they slowly rolled down the road, hoping to be quiet enough not to attract any attention, she stopped the truck and got out to let Shaun pour the gasoline inside and out, along the shredded seats and floor boards. She put the truck in neutral, released the brakes and clutch and started to push it closer before completely lighting it on fire and seeing an opening. In the driveway all the cars and motorcycles were parked. Whispering she spoke to Shaun. "We duck down on the other side of those cars and get to the back. Around those trees. There's a backporch door we can get in."
The match was lit and the truck was set on fire. With Shaun's help, they both pushed the truck towards the front gate where it would crash and explode, sending flames and smoke billowing from the burning vehicle.
Knox knew he and his men were being lazier then they should have been, but instead of hunting the prey down, he just wanted to play with them first. Charles had to have known by now that the bikes that were once his belonged to the Fugitives now. It was a way to just rub salt into that wound and although his men did not kill Charles's guys on the road, it was an appreciated perk that came with Charles coming into their newly claimed territory. He was off patrolling the fence and his men were arming themselves up this morning when the crash happened. He was sending two more out to the house to torment them a little more, only this day, they were going to try and throw some firebombs through the windows. They weren't going to be enough to kill them, although if someone died, he wouldn't really care.
But the crashing noise caught his attention and he saw the smoke between the trees. He started running back towards the front, calling out for his men to be ready. He was pretty sure Ernie couldn't fight for shit but the others could and that's all that mattered.
"Owen! Get out here! Fugitives! Get outside! All of you!" As a former army sergeant, he could lead a patrol and fight and that's exactly what they were about to do. They all started running towards the front of the house, but when they got there, all they saw was a truck that was set on fire. It was confusing to say the least, but he knew something was up. With no people right behind the burning truck and no one firing at them as they ran, he narrowed his gaze as he looked down the road.
With all the chaos going on in the pas t few weeks Susan hasn't been able to cope with the lose of Hannah. Although, Jace and Her have been talking a lot in the past few weeks even though she still tries to avoid talking to anyone. Let alone be around anyone. Jace trying to be the good man that he is tries to get Susan to open up and help with the coping of her lover being lost, but still Susan doesn't make it easy for him as she still puts up a wall between her and everyone in the house.
Susan has even been having nightmares about Hannah and waking in up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat while screaming. Jace tried settling her down letting her know it was just a bad dream and everything is okay. Susan however, knew better. Everything was not okay. The world went to shit. Her lover is dead. Her father is dead. her family was either missing or dead. The only family she had left was her brother Charlie and right now Susan was not in the mood to even look at him.
