After Samuel reached his house he did his normal daily routine which was cleaning up any dust that had developed anywhere, making food to sell in the market later and have a shower and brush his teeth. After doing all of this he went to sit back down at his porch and proceeding to read one of the books of his massive collection that he hadn't read yet called Fault in Our Stars and he found the book was really good even-though he was a fast reader, he eventually finished the book then took another book out called Twilight and proceeded to read that and he found that it was very stupid and he scoffed before saying "vampires don't fucking sparkle they explode in sunlight".
Neve began to explore the second floor of the establishment. It was nothing special so far. Just a bathroom, the master bedroom, and a teenage boys room, but she had one last room to explore. She looked at the door of the room. There was a frilly pink sign hanging from a nail on the front that read 'Emily'. She must have been the little girl in the family portrait.
Neve opened the door and took in her surroundings. Everything seemed to be left relatively untouched. There was a dollhouse in the far corner that still had dolls occupying its spaces. She stepped further inside, and sat down on the small bed in the center of the room. Neve ran her hand across the top of the covers. My Little Pony bed covers. Just like she had when she was little.
With a sigh she stood up, putting her hands in her pants pockets she exited the room closing the door behind her. She walked down the stairs, opened the front door of the house, and walked out onto the porch. She sat down on the swing, curling her feet beneath her she began to do something she hasn't done in a while. Relax.
(OOC: No Sorry I've been super busy with college so I haven't had the time to post I will find a way of posting regularly but I will try to post more but I will have some super late replies sorry Neve)
Sam had spent a while having a massive go at the book but obviously it was written before the outbreak so it wouldn't matter if he had a go, he just dabbled around until eventually he sat down and opened up a old comic book he had since his childhood the original blade comics, he then put it back onto the table after reading through 4 or 5 and went to go check on the woman who had arrived earlier today.
He walked down to where he settled in the new woman before and knocked on the door before talking through the door "Miss sorry I remember I did ask for you name earlier but I just wanted to see how your doing".
(OOC:It's fine! School totally comes first! ) Neve looked up as the man knocked and spoke through the door. She got up and opened the door. "Uh. Yea I'm fine" She lightly bit her bottom lip. Not knowing what to say she played with the threads on her shirt.
"How long has this place been secured?" She asked. It was nice to just relax and chat. Even if it was about things she didn't really care about. Neve walked outside and closed the door behind her then facing the man so she could better hear his reply.
The place defiantly seemed secure. People here seemed pretty happy. Maybe this was a place to stay for a while. Then again. She might leave in a few days to move on back to her home town to see of her parents went there. The girl didn't like spending a lot of time in one place. Especially strongholds. Strongholds were big targets for raiders and bandits. So she always tried to avoid them, but now she couldn't help herself. She needed somewhere safe and a place to rest desperately.
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
