Watching the clouds move across the sky letting the sun pierce through every so often. Rubbing froze end tipped fingers together in an attempt to keep them warm. Frowning slightly at their predicament as something to the left of him caught his attention. Letting out a sigh before tapping his finger on Sean's shoulder making it clear that their was a walker near. Examining it as the pair walked by its dinner of.. Whatever it was couldn't be discerned anymore. Jonah hoped it was a dog or cat but if it was another person he prayed it had been quick.
The pale mans nose scrunched up in disgust at the sight of the undead's eating habit. Tilting his head to the side with curiosity at the sounds it made, stopping in his path now while turning to face the groaning corpse at it feasted. Slowly approaching it from the rear holding his breath afraid of making any sort of noises. Letting the sigh escape his lips as the metallic bat made contact with its skull. It didn't go down with the first blow and continued to not go down until the third swing to the head. Heavily breathing from exhaustion. Jonah was getting sicker the more they walked out in the weather and it didn't help when he went out of his way like this. Placing the bat on the pavement acting as a third leg as he took deep breaths. Heaving a few minutes afterward from a mix of the illness and sight.
Before him was a little girl with a side of her face chewed off. This is not the world of the weak. He tried to tell himself before turning toward his companion. A small tear falling down his cheek into his lips. Bringing his hand once again today toward his nose wiping away the snot that tried to slide out. God I felt like his nose was holding the small headache forming in all day. Reaching into his pocket for the notebook. Leaning against Sean as he flipped through the pages. Tapping his finger on the one that showed a big first aid cross on it. Cupping his lips trying to turn away so to not cough on his companion.
