Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
- Lincoln worked his farm with his family. He part owned it with his brother who was never there. He had kids aged 21, 17, 15, 13, and, 10. He lived a relatively hardworking yet happy life with his children and wife. There was a farm hand that stayed with them. They worked hard, ranches, mores crops and had a few cows. They had chickens, pigs, and lived to be outside. In the fall he hunted. In the winter he kept up the animals, and did the business side of the farm.
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
- The outbreak hit pretty fast. On the first day he came outside just as the farm hand and his son were coming back from getting supplies in town. His son had got bit and they rushed back. While his eldest daughter tried to fix the wound Lincoln went to inspect the just arrival of his brother from the city, who had fled to the farm. His brother never showed up, except to deal with business. His brother was panicked, confused, scared.
They head a scream from inside. Rushing inside Lincoln found his son had turned. He had bit his eldest daughter and she was bleeding from the chunk out of her neck. Lincoln tried to pull them off. Next thing he knew his brother came running in. He had a a gun, a hunting rifle. His brother raised it and killed the two kids like nothing, shooting them in the head.
Rage boiled over Lincoln. He hauled his brother out by the scruff of his to hands he savegly best him to death. When all was done he buried all three family member in the yard, marking there graves with a cross.
Turning on the truck radio he heard about the pandemic. He decided they needed to lock down the farm. All around he turned on the electric fence, and slowly closed his doors. He began to stockpile food and water, knowing he would need it.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
- It would be about a month of surviving when the next death would happen. By now Lincoln and his family knew enough about the dead, that you needed to hurt the head to kill them. And believed you turned if you got bit. While out hunting with the farm hand and his son his son stepped in a bear trap, clamping around his leg.
Lincoln tried to peel it off, the sound of his sons yelling attracting the dead. The farm hand tried to fight them off, doing all he could. In the end Lincoln rushed it, using his hatchet to chop off his sounds leg. He carried him back to the farm house, farm hand in tow.
His son passed that night, they couldn't help him. It was there he learnt that you turned no matter how you died. His son had turned, crawled to his sisters room, the youngest. In his sleep he after her, both turning, unable to move. The farm hand found them in the morning. Again Lincoln had to act. He gave mercy to his children, and then buried them with the others, marking there graves with a cross.
It would be almost half a year when the next death would occur. His wife was picking the walkers off the fence, getting ready drag them off to the woods, where they left the zombies. She got swarmed, the farm hand and Lincoln rushing to her side. As they fought his wife was bit, in the arm. Lincoln turned, and with all the dead dealt with he shot his wife in the head as he cried. He would burry her with the others.
Raiders came to the farm the next day. They had a semi and wanted all the women on the farm. Lincoln wouldn't let that happen, his only daughter left and these savages wouldn't have her. They attacked started shooting. Lincoln fought back, killing as many as he could.
The men got inside, to his daughter. They tried to drag her away. Lincoln rushed forward burying his hatchet in the skull of a man. Another man fired, the bullet missing Lincoln put killing his daughter. Lincoln blanked out again, slaughtering the remaining men. He would burry his last child along with the others.
A month later the Walker problem had gotten worse. They had gotten at most of the cows and the chickens had all ran off. His horse broke it's leg and he had to put her down. He was loosing everything. His plants died, as did his hope. The farm hand was all he had left. So when Lincoln found him in the barn, shotgun blast to the head, he broke down, had nothing.
Since then he has been alone. All the cows had died out one. She gave birth to two calves and died in the process. Lincoln kept the calves safe, they were his only source of interaction. In all this conflict, it was all he had left. Soon though he knew he'd run out of supplies, mind would have to venture out.
