Amber drove down the road. She didn't want to go to far, there were only some many places he could go around here. Assuming he just didn't tear off on his bike into the sunset never to be seen again he would have to stop at one of the farm houses for the night.
"Tyler was stubborn. He probably was in denial he was bit, thinking he was immune. He wasn't the brightest, may have not even known he was bit. It doesn't matter now, let's not talk about it," Amber said starring forward. One question was on her mind, why did everyone she love leave or die?
"Thadd will come back. I'm hoping we can convince him, change his mind if we won't. He's my friend, I don't want to see him gone. I know you're the same way. I see how you two are, you're close. He will listen. The farm is good, there's safety in numbers, a sense or normality." she didn't know if it was true. All she knew was that she betrayed Thadd. She knew the whole time, never told him once. It was Becky's right, but when she didn't tell him she should have stepped up and done it. She had to make it up to him.
Amber came to where cars parked on both side of the road. They couldn't get further. There was a bloody mess of walkers around, smeared to the ground in front of them. There were no other walkers in sight, just the ones beaten to the pulp on the road, a light snowfall on them.
she stopped the car, putting it in park.
"Let's get out, look around," she said calmly. Opening the door she stepped out, rifle in hands. She looked down the sights, aiming at all the bloody pulp. "This was as far as Thadd could have gone."
