Chris was crouched in the bushes and watching the scene with the bikers moving on the warehouse when he heard a vehicle moving behind on a road. He crawled towards the road and saw the car coming and noticed it was a Humvee rather than a biker. He had his gun and decided he would rather take his chances with whoever this was than the bikers. He stayed low yet raised his rifle to display it with an extended arm. Anyone who knew anything about rifles would know this was a German.
He then slowly stepped out the rifle aimed at the car but his hand noticeably off the trigger. He hoped the vehicle would stop. If they made any loud noises the bikers would notice them. His backpack shook slightly as Siegfried grew restless.

Listening to the radio traffic, Alex began to grow a bit uneasy, rare for her given her history but a common enough emotion....then, she heard Ben call out over the radio, "Herringbone," a code to stop, get out of the vehicles and begin watching everything around them. Pulling to the side, she heard the two Caddys' behind her pull in front to cover her vehicle; climbing out, she reached back inside and holstered her revolver, using her thigh holster to secure it to her gun hand.
As she began looking around and up, one of the gangbangers ran over to her, MAC-10 in hand. "What's the scoop, Angel?" he said.
"We got a Herringbone call from Ben; one of your fellow 'bangers saw some leathers up ahead and Ben's going to take a look before we continue on." Noticing the banger checking her out from the side of his eye, she added, "Not gonna' happen, vato, not gonna' happen," chuckling at the comical absurdity of someone trying to flirt with her while they were out on the tail end of a convoy, wondering what was going on. "Besides, what would Mariselda think, Jorge, if she knew you were flirting with an Anglo, huh?" a none-too-subtle way of her reminding him to stick to their duties for the time being.
As a woman came out from behind the shelves Marcello and spirit point their guns right at the woman. Jaden, Blood Hound, Shades, and Trigger come up from the side pointing theirs at her. Ripper, Falcon, Mad Dawg, and Mudder come up from behind around the wall to the other side of the woman. Completely surrounding the woman with guns pointed there's no way for her and friends to get out of this one through a fire fight if that's what she's trying to do.
As the woman told Marcello she comes in peace and introduce herself followed by questions of who are they and what they want Marcello lowers his gun a bit looking the woman over. Feeling pleased at the sight of the woman he cracks a smile on his face nodding his head a bit. Well.... Look at what we have here. A good looking catch I say. Marcello says as Spirit just shakes her head at him. Well My name is Marcello. Most people call me Phoenix, but my friends call me Marcel or Marc. You young lady can call me anything you like. Marcello says to Jessica flirting with her while showing a bit of interest in her.
Quit screwing around Marcel. We don't have time for this. Spirit says to Marcello feeling a tad jealous of the woman. I say we drop this bitch and her friends there behind the shelves and get back to base. Spirit added to him as she looks down the sight of her gun.
This is my gang here as you can tell. We are the Heaven's Legionaries. What we want is to keep our territory safe from anyone intruders as well as rotters of course. Marcello says to Jessica. Suddenly a voice comes on the radio that's clipped onto Marcello's leather jacket covered with a bunch of patches from his club with the club sigil on the back of the jacket with the name at the top of it that reads Heaven's Legionaries and at the bottom says Los Angeles.
Phoenix you better finish up your business in there because we got company out here. We have a crowd of rotters and a humvee approaching us in a distance. Raven said over the radio to Marcello.
Skidding to a stop as they Humvee neared the intersection, Ben had to grab the overhead bar to avoid getting thrown around inside. Grabbing his rifle, he climbed out and knelt down behind the passenger door as both of the Caddys' that had led their convoy pulled up nearby. "Alright, Carlos, tell me what you saw up there?"
"Bout a half-dozen bikers, vato, up ahead at that warehouse you said we were heading to," said one gangbanger, joining Ben behind the door. "They don't look like natives, so I called to warn you," he added, TEC-9 in his hand. Grabbing the binos from inside the Humvee, Ben took a long look at the area around the warehouse, trying to figure out in his mind a way around the obstacle ahead of them. Looks like we got company, he whispered, scanning the area....and not just the human variety either, spotting some biters roaming around the area.
Remembering in his mind the layout of the streets in this part of South L.A., Ben came up with a plan to get to the warehouse and deal with whoever was in. "Carlos....Carlos!" Ben whispered. "Take your Caddy and Miguel's and head back one block; once you guys do that, go over one block, then cut two blocks down that cross-street, then turn back towards us and charge at the bikers over there," pointing towards the warehouse as he reached inside the Humvee for his radio mic. "If we plan this right, Carlos, your Caddies' will be charging at those bikers from one direction while the rest of us come rolling up from the other direction and those bikers won't know what hit them. Let me know when you reach the last corner...now, go, go!" he signaled. As the two gangbangers fed the instructions to their friends, Ben got on the radio. "All vehicles, get ready to roll on my signal."
Climbing back into the Humvee, Ben watched as the two Cadillac low riders' took off back the way they'd come and thought, Okay, genius, hope you know what you're knowing....
Jess kept calm as the man and woman in front of her raised guns point at her. Not long after other members of this biker gang surrounded her. Guns pointed at her completely surrounded which was fine at least they weren’t on Chris. Her eyes stayed on the Leader of these crooks. A smile came apon his face as he looked her over and his gun lowered some. The man introduced himself to her and announced she could call him whatever she wanted obviously showing interest and flirting with her some.
This woman beside Marc seemed fairly irritated about him flirting and was suggesting that the group kill her and chris. The thought just made chills go down her spine. She didn’t want anything to happen to him. Chris was going to hate her for what she was about to do but she was just trying to save his life. “Well Marc You obviously like something about what you see in front of you. You could’ve killed me right when I approached. “She said nicely then paused and cut a glance towards the shelves and back to Marc.
“So take me with you. Just In return Let my travel companions go they are no threat to you and will certainly move on. To be honest I was looking for a stronger group to follow. Now I seem to have found one with a Damn fine looking leader.” She said with a smirk and a flirty tone. Yes Chris was going to be pissed but at least they would live to see another way because no firefight would succeed in hers and Chris’s Favor tonight. Jess inched her way closer To Marc with a sweet smile on her face. “What do ya say? Leave them and You can Take me.”
Since no one seemed to have noticed them—probably mistaking them for part of the herd at first glance— the group veered off the street, weaving through alleys between buildings along the same street the warehouse was on and coming out onto the street behind it.
The herd attacked the group at the warehouse behind them, taking out some of the guys outside; they could hear the screams and gunshots. Jude and his group were beginning to tire, but threading through the alleys helped to disperse some of the herd that was still chasing them.
They slowed down a bit, gasping for breath. Jude let go of Samantha’s hand and swung around to meet the biter that had been right on their tail, cracking its head open with his axe as it lunged.
“Fuck,” Samantha breathed when she turned around and saw how close it had been, her hand tightening on her hammer as she stared at it, other hand reaching out blindly to grab at Jude’s arm, reaching for his hand again.
“We need to keep moving,” Liam said, pushing them both forward lightly.
They trotted down the street, ahead of the small group that was still following them and veering toward the buildings on the other side of the street to look for shelter. At the end of the street, ahead of them, a couple of lowriders sped across the intersection, headed in the direction of the warehouse.
“What is this, a gang war?” Jude said incredulously.
“We’re not sticking around to find out,” Liam muttered as they veered into another alley. They’d taken a few steps down it before they realized there was a low wall at the end that didn’t look like it would be easy to climb. It was too late to turn back now, though, the herd was right behind them.
They sprinted for the end of the alley. Liam was up and over the wall before anyone batted an eye. Jude didn’t fault him for it, just huffed in dark amusement as he leaned down to boost Samantha over after him.
Jasmine, their best marksman, had drawn her gun and she was stepping forward to take out the biters that were nearing. Jude winced at the sound of the first gunshot, knowing it would draw unwanted attention. Six more came after that, taking out nearly half of their small herd, but Jude was counting bullets, and hoped she was, too. She didn’t have many more left. Not enough for the amount of walkers that were left, anyway.
“Baby, come on,” Marcus urged, pacing back to her anxiously.
Jude hesitated, not wanting to go over the wall without them.
“Jasmine, let’s go!” he called. She popped off two more rounds and two more biters fell. She had two rounds left, by his count. The walkers were steadily streaming into the alley, though. More than he’d first thought. Way more than they could handle.

As Alex and a couple of local gangbangers knelt down behind her LACFD fire vehicle, she kept wondering what was going on up at the front of the column; before she could call up to Ben to find out what was going on, one of the 'bangers said, "Hey, gringa', we got two low-riders heading back here."
"What the hell?" she whispered, ducking a quick look; for what seemed like forever, her and the half-dozen 'bangers watched as the Caddys' peeled down the street and around the nearby corner, their tires squalling in the air. Getting up, she opened the passenger-side door and reached inside for her radio mic; after fumbling for the switch, she keyed the mic. "Ben, this is Alex," she said. "We just saw two lowriders head past us and around onto the side street," pausing as, for a brief moment, she thought she heard them squealing around another corner and tearing up the cross street next to 77th. "What gives, boss?"
Sitting in his Humvee, Ben watched the continuing activity ahead and continued to count the moments down before they charged forward. Hearing the crackle of the vehicle's dashboard radio go off, he picked up the mic. "Yeah, go ahead, Alex?"
"Ben, this is Alex," she said. "We just saw two lowriders head past us and around onto the side street," pausing as, for a brief moment, she thought she heard them squealing around another corner and tearing up the cross street next to 77th. "What gives, boss?"
Sighing in exasperation, Ben spoke. "We got activity ahead at the warehouse; looks like a group of bikers and some other assorted denizens, along with your random bunch of roamers for good measure. Hang tight, Alex; we'll be moving up there in a few minutes. Have you and your people get in their vehicles and be ready to roll. Out." Setting the mic back in its' dashboard spot, Ben looked ahead and thought, "C'mon guys, get in position..."

Having been missed by the cars he attempted to signal down Chris realised his clothing was green and blended in. He was far too camouflaged to have stood out. He then began to hear gunfire from another direction. He was now on the road and moving on foot. He looked down the scope of his rifle and from the distance shot two walkers approaching the alley way some civilian's had entered.
He reloaded and took down one more to buy time for whatever people were inside. He had the realisation now that with a herd near by his only chance to save his own ass and Siegfried, his cat, was to get a ride somehow or hide. He was running down the road in view of everyone now trying to find a ride or a building he could hide out in. He could see no citizens and was simply focused on moving, which as an older man was difficult.
He shouted in his German accent "A horse, a horse... my kingdom for a horse." Feeling his current situation was starting to turn shitty without an escape.
With the gun locked and loaded, Chris waited for what was about to happen next. As the thugs outside made their way in, he felt drawn to check out wherever they came from, but stayed on guard where he stood; facing one path he knew they would come. Focused he barely noticed when Jess moved over to him, only then to kiss him on the cheek and whisper that she loved him. When he turned to look at her, to ask what it all was about, she moved out from behind the shelves and approached the attackers. With her hands held high she introduced herself, asking for who they were and what they wanted. “Jess! No, get back here!” Chris commanded, even though he knew she would be hard to convince when she first had made up her mind.
What the hell was she doing, she was risking her life going out there, he thought, wanting to go after and protect her. From his position he could only watch how the strangers surrounded her, and them, afraid that if he fired his shotgun, there would be a bloodbath. Now he couldn`t speak for Tanya`s actions, but he hoped she wasn`t stupid enough to do anything reckless in such a situation. “Come back!” He called out again to Jess, though was ignored. She was confronted by their leader, and she proposed a deal, which surprised all of them.
She suggested for them to leave Chris and Tanya alone, if she willingly went with them, as his girl. Chris didn`t like that at all, especially not the way she flirted with the guy to convince him. “What you doing? Are you crazy…there ain`t nothing good coming out of that!” He shouted out to her, wanting her to stop what she was doing, although he knew she meant well. “No, if anyone is to be taken, it’s me…leave the others alone!” Chris Counter-offered and stepped out from behind the shelves, placing his weapon on the ground before approuching them.

Back at 77th Street....
"Alright, just take a few deep breaths," Kelsey said to her patient as he sat on the examining room table inside the Division's Medical Center, "that's good," pausing as she listened through her stethoscope for several seconds, "that's good." Taking off her stethoscope, she proceeded to finish her exam, then jotted down some notes on an exam board. "Alright, looks like you're in clean health, mate," she said, smiling at the Guardsman as he got up and left the room.
Sitting down in a nearby chair, she continued jotting down notes, all the while keeping an ear tuned to a nearby speaker; over it, she heard the radio traffic from today's supply run playing over it. Wonder what's going on? she mused as the traffic increased. Satisfied everything was in order, she left the exam room and began walking over to her office, where she kept all the division's medical charts; as she walked by, she stopped one of Ben's fellow former LAPD officers as he walked by. "Berne, find out what's going on with the supply run if you can, okay?" she asked him. "Contact me over the radio when you find out; as much paperwork as I've got to get through, I'll probably be stuck there all day," she said, smiling a bit curtly.
As Marcello stands there listening to Jessica as man comes out from behind the shelves yelling at her then to Marcello offering himself instead of Jessica. Marcello just laughs at the man while looking to his crew. Shut up boy! You have nothing to offer my brothers and sisters nor me! Marcello says to him as he shoves the man.
Jaden looks the man over and smirks while winking at Chris. I could use this one as my boy toy. Jaden says as she laugh. Jaden then places her hand on the man feeling him a bit then whistles indicating she likes what she sees.
Marcello just laughs some more listening to Jaden. You would take this little runt as your personal slave? Marcello asked her then grabs his knife. Marcello quickly cuts Chris along the side of his face just enough to leave a scar. Look at that. He bleeds to much. Marcello says laughing some more.
Don't need no runt nor a bleeder. Plus the other one behind the shelves looks like she half dead too. Ripper said to the gang as he looks at Chris and then looks at Tanya who is on the ground holding her wound while covered in her own blood.
Nah... we leave him with this half dead one. Maybe she'll turn and bite him or Maybe he'll spare her the suffering and end her. Marcello says to the gang. We'll take this one with us. Marcello added as he grabs Jessica by the arm dragging her with them. You follow us runt and we will kill you with your little dark haired barbie doll. Marcello says to Chris as he walks away with his gang and Jessica.
Jessica was edging her way closer to Marc when she heard Chris come out from hiding. Her eyes got big and she was horrified wondering what would happen now. She was doing all this to save him. When one of the gang females walked up to Chris and feeling on him Jess had to fight back the urge to jump her right then and there. The woman talked about making Chris her boy toy. Just as Jess was about to lose marc dismisses her claim and then draws and knife and Slashes Chris’s face. Tears started to well up in her eyes as she saw the blood pour.
Her eyes Locked on Chris’s and the pain was evident in her eyes seeing him suffer. “I’m sorry…I love you.” She mouthed to him. The only relief she got was Marc announcing that they would leave Chris alive. She felt Marc’s hand wrap around her arm and drag her away from the one she loved. She resisted slightly but it was useless and she let herself be drug along. She wondered what her future would be and if she would ever see Chris again. She wiped tears from her eyes getting a final glance of the building where she left her world behind.
Jude was straddling the wall, waiting for Marcus and Jasmine, when he saw a man run by the mouth of the alley. He took down three walkers before moving on. Jasmine had used her last two rounds and seemed surprised to be out already. Marcus took out a biter who lunged for her while she was distracted, and then the two of them raced for the wall. Jude helped her over, but before Marcus could climb up, the herd reached them, taking Marcus down. Jasmine screamed for him and tried to reach down for him. Jude pulled her back, over the wall with him, knowing they couldn’t help Marcus, murmuring apologies and reassurances to Jasmine to get her to cooperate.
Samantha was crying, too, as she grabbed Jasmine’s hand and pulled her forward. Jude couldn’t let himself feel Marcus’ death right now, they had too much to worry about. He’d gotten good at compartmentalizing his emotions like that. Later, when they were safe, it would hit him hard.
Liam lead the way through the alley and into the street on the other side. Jude brought up the rear, making sure the girls didn’t fall behind. They weren’t being chased any more, as far as they knew, having left the herd on the other side of the wall, and the street they were on now seemed a lot clearer than the previous one.
Jude turned in a circle, trying to get his bearings and remember in which direction they’d left the Jeep. They still needed to find gas for it, but they couldn’t forget where it was or the task would be pointless. The distance was just a blur, because of his near-sightedness, but he remembered which way they’d come from, and how many turns they’d taken in each direction. They’d have to make a wide circle and go all the way back around the warehouse to get back to the Jeep safely, now that there were so many walkers in the area. Maybe they’d get lucky and encounter some gas along the way.
“That way, right?” Jude checked with Liam, pointing up the road.
Liam nodded. “Seems like it. We’ll take the road on the left and it should bring us back around eventually.”
They could hear gunshots, rumbling motorcycles, and shouting in the distance as they jogged up the road. The sound was magnified by the echoes bouncing off the buildings all around them, making the noise sound like it was coming from every direction at once.
Drumming his fingers on his knee, Ben began to wonder just where in the hell his gangbangers were when they came over the radio, letting him know they were in position and ready to go. Picking up the mic, he spoke. "Alright, everyone, let's roll. Banger 1, Banger 2, come towards us and stop when you reach the warehouse entrance; everyone else, follow me!" Nodding to the driver, he added, "Step on it-"
Suddenly, the radio crackled; it was Alex, from the rear of the convoy. "Ben, I got someone running down the street past us; what d'ya want us to do back here?" Quickly Ben thought of a plan...."Alex, unless you've got reason to believe they're hostile, intercept and pick them up, get 'em off the street. Once you do that, get back to 77th Street ASAP, drop him off and then re-join us here, understood?" Looking back towards the Humvee driver, Ben made sure his weapons were at the ready and repeated his earlier command. "Step on it."

"Copy that," Alex said, throwing the mic down back into the center dash. Springing her trusty Halligan tool from the passenger side, she climbed back out of her vehicle and whistled over to Jorge. "I'm going to chase after our stranger there," checking to make sure her revolver and a couple speed-loads of rounds were in hand and pointing over towards where she'd seen him run, "and try to bring him back here. Wait here, alright?" Without waiting for a reply, Alex took off at a dead run towards the area where she thought she'd seen the stranger running earlier, hoping to find him - or at least find something that wasn't hostile; her only concern was missing out on whatever Ben had planned pretty soon.

Christoph had been running and had moved past some vehicles without seeing any inhabitants inside. His feet carried him near some buildings and he began trying to open doors checking them all to find them locked. He saw a walker approach and grabbed his knife shoulder barging it to the ground before finishing it off.
He stood and saw a woman approaching with a weapon and swung his hips in a motion to move his rifle to his hands. He kept it low but ready "You looking for assistance... offering assistance or... You mean me ill will. I would suggest young 'Frau' that you choose the direction of this interaction with haste. Otherwise the walking deceased may decide for you."
As Marcello and his gang come out of the warehouse with Jessica Raven, Hammer, and Sphinx start firing at the walkers which are drawing closer to the warehouse. Hammer lays on the 50 cal that's mounted on the back of the pickup truck's bed while Raven and Sphinx fire their assault rifles at the dead. Dodge grabs Jessica and places her in the van then tires her up. Marcello starts firing at the dead as well laying waste to them all as entire horde of them come out of the woodwork. Ripper, Spirit, Jaden, and Falcon take cover by the truck while Mad Dawg, Blood Hound, and Mudder to cover by the entrance of the warehouse. Shade and Trigger stand near Marcello by the van with Dodger.
Suddenly Marcello sees a group of vehicles approaching in a hurry towards his gang and him. Marcello yells to Hammer to draw his fire with the 50 cal at the incoming vehicles. Then all hell breaks loose in the block of the warehouse between the horde of undead, a unknown group, and the biker gang. It starts becoming a war zone on the street in front of the warehouse.

Seeing the stranger begin to raise his own weapon, Alex lowered the Halligan bar she was carrying. "Whoa, whoa!" she yelled as the man began talking to her; noticing the slowly increasing number of roamers beginning to gather, she said to him, "I'm part of a survivor group based a couple blocks from here; come with me, sir, with you want to live," a glint of steel in her voice. "The sooner we can get off the street here," motioning towards a few of the roamers as she spoke, "the better, okay?"
Back at the head of the convoy, Ben could see in the distance the pair of Caddys' he'd sent in an end-round to the warehouse approaching; by the sounds they were making, echoing through the concrete canyons of the area, they were charging like the Light Brigade, he thought. Suddenly, he heard the one sound an infantryman - even a former one such as him - dreaded to hear; the sound of a .50 caliber opening up. "Tell the armored truck to take the lead; they got the armor to take it on, we don't," he said over the radio.
Motioning the driver to slow down, he waited for the former bank vault truck to pass them before continuing onward. "If you can get a bead on wherever that fifty's at, go ahead and take it out if you can," Ben said as they drew closer to the warehouse. The idea made sense; a .50 caliber gun was way too heavy to carry by hand, which meant, in this environment, it had to be emplaced on a vehicle...which meant ramming the vehicle would also likely take out the weapon as well. "Let's hope that works," he said grimly to the driver, "'cause if it doesn't, we'll have to bounce out of here just as fast as we got here."
