Emre looked down at the two empty cans of gas he had put on the floor. Out of pure anger he kicked one of them down and picked up the half can he had found there. Nate had heard his calling and approached asking what he had found.
"Fuck all! I found this half can of gas, but that's it"
He took the can and placed it by the truck. He passed Dale and Mia, but didn't interact, instead he headed straight back to Nate. He stood in front of the man and sighed. More work was to be done, more searching. Emre got the same feeling he had when he was with other groups, tiredness and annoyance. This was the first time he had been a proper group in months. He still wondered if stealing his older group's supplies was a good thing and if he would the same to this one. He had gotten places fine on his own, but maybe it was time for a change.
"I'm gonna need some help finding gas for the vehicles"
Emre continued around the side of the building eventually reaching a shed with a locked door. There were a couple of empty buckets placed around it, but that was all. It looked like they were gonna have to break the lock. He used the same large rock he used to open the container to break the lock. He swung mutilple times until it flew onto the floor. He grabbed the handle and looked back at Nate.
"Ready?"

Nate looked at the man. He seemed angry at something. Kicking the can. If he kept this up he would make a lot of noise. There was no reason to get angry, not like they were expecting to find something.
"Hey halfs better than nothing," Nate said leaning on the wall beside the can. "There's always gas tanks under neath the station right?"
He watched the man walk back to the truck and place the can beside the supplies. He saw Mia and Dale and smiled at them from where he stood by the station. They were talking about something, he couldn't see what though. Watching Mia he was glad she had came. Even if she was nervous and scared. He didn't know these others. Sure he had gotten to know Jake and Emre, but Mia was different. She meant something, she kept him grounded. She brought him joy, helped him smile.
Nate saw Emre approach and smiled at the man before him. "Sure I'll help with the gas. We need to find some," Nate said following Emre around the side. He watched the man look at the shed. There was a lock and Nate raised his axe. He was ready to smash it open. Instead Emre used a large rock. He laughed at the sight of the man smashing a lock with the large rock.
"Ready," Nate said, Axe still raised, ready to swing if something was inside.

Emre looked at Nate, claiming that it was good they found the half can. Emre sighed and shrugged at him, he supposed it was okay that they found it. Would it be enough though? Would they find more in the station. That was when Nate asked if they had a gas tank underneath station, to which Emre shrugged again.
"Maybe there is, we'll have to find out later though. There's still more to look for around here"
When Nate gave the go, Emre looked back at the shed door. He shrugged and swung it open. He looked in and it revealed a biter stood directly in front of him. It pounce onto him, knocking the man to the ground. He held his forearm to its neck and tried to push it away from him. It snapped its rotten jaws at him, trying to get a chunk of his face to eat. Emre gathered a lot of strength and pushed the biter away from him and stood up. He didn't have weapons on him which would probably would have been useful, so he hoped Nate could take care of the biter.
Emre looked inside the shed. It was dark and dusty in there, but it might have something useful. He walked in and looked at the side of shed, it was mainly a bunch of tools hanging from the wall, possible melee weapons to use. He went to the very back of the shed to find that hidden behind one of the tables were two cans of gas. Emre picked them up to see if they were full, which they were. A smile hit Emre's face as he looked back at Nate.
"Yeah let's get this bad boy opened," Nate said as Emre pulled the door open. He watched the dead come at Emre. He hated these things, never really having to deal with them. Alive were more of a problem now. He thought back to the raiders, what the did, to him, to her. His face saddened, he hated the thoughts. He pushed those thoughts deep down. Best kept burried under a smile.
Nate saw Emre push the dead and Immediately Nate brought the Axe down on its head. It split open spilling the dark blood all over the ground. Planting his foot on the body he ripped out the axe. Chunks flew threw the air and dripped off the blade. Nate twirled it and entered the shed after Emre.
"Surprised you for have a weapon on you. There were knives and guns in the truck. You're welcome to use them. Don't need you dying on us," Nate said looking at the rows of tools.he pulled down a shovel and a pair of hedge trimmer, they might come in handy later. There were also screwdrivers and hammers, a weapon if it came down to it.
Nate leaned on his Axe and turned to Emre when he spoke. "Really, gas. That's amazing. Anything else of use? There's a lawnmower. Maybe the battery and blades from it. If you see an Axe grab one, Could always use another."
After opening the shed and finding gas, Emre had a plan to take some of these tools as possible weapons. He had the two cans ready to be taken back, but he stopped for a minute to have a quick browse of the tools. Wench, screwdriver, hammer, hell, even the lawnmower Nate mentioned could be useful. Anyways, it was time to get these back to vehicles so they don't lose them or end up knocking them over while looking around. Emre looked over at Nate and lifted up the cans to his shoudler for a second.
"I'm gonna go and take these back, you wait here and... I dunno... Look around"
He left the shed and went around the gas station back to the trucks. Yet again, he saw Mia and Dale, but talking to them would waste too much time, so he just gave a smile and a nod to them. He placed the two cans by the truck and with the other half can. He then made his way back around the station to the shed again.
He got back and went in the shed, his eyes locked onto some of the tools he saw earlier. He grabbed the wrench by it's handle and threw it in the air to test it's weight and most likely his power. He caught it again and nodded as he was impressed. He took the screw driver and hammer he saw and looked at Nate.
"Grab anything that seems useful, we could really use some extra close-quarter weapons"
Nate watched Emre leave back to the truck, staring at the man as he walked past Dale and Mia. He smiled to himself and Dud as the man suggested. Looking around the back of the tool shed he found a large wheel barrow. Nate began filling it with tool. He placed, hammers, screwdrivers, a shovel, hedge clippers, and a large metal pipe. They would be sufficent in battle. He wheeled it out front of the she and watched Emre go in. He saw him grab the wrench and chuckled, it would have power but wasn't really sharp. If the hit didn't go through on the first swing then he might wish he had an actual weapon.
"Filled this up with possible weapons. Thought we could bring it back, let the others pick through it," he said smillig, "Also found this." He pulled out what like a large knife, serrated on one side and curved to a point. "Think they used it to cut wires." He spun it around and pointed the handle at Emre, "take it, incase your pipe misses it's target."
Nate said he had filled up a wheelbarrow with tools for weapons, it was a good idea. Atleast now they wouldn't have to keep coming back to get a few each time, they could fit the majority in the wheelbarrow. Emre place the wrench, screwdriver and hammer he picked up into the wheelbarrow. Nate the said he had picked up a knife, giving it to Emre. He took it from the man and grinned at him.
"Thanks Nate, atleast I have something to fight back with now"
He placed the knife in his holster where his hatchet used to be. He then looked at the wheelbarrow, it was almost full and looked good to go. Emre gave a little tap of the wheelbarrow and looked back at Nate.
"Alright, it looks good to go. We'll take this back around front and join Mia and Dale. Looks like we've searched all we can"
"Sound good," Nate said nodding. He picked up the end and began to push it over to the truck. He looked at Emre as they walked. "You know. I don't know much about you. Tell me who Emre was before all this. Two years ago from now."
He set the wheelbarrow by the truck and smiled. "We should check for a tank under the station. The pumps may still be working. If not we could start them," Nate said turning to walk back. He pulled his Axe from the wheelbarrow and held it along his side. "I should really get a holster for this. Would beat carrying it around."
As they walked back towards he Gas station he smiled at Emre, "so how'd you meet Sterling and he crew? You know I never even met the man and i gave up everything I had to help him. He better be worth it. We don't even know where they are. They could already be there, waiting on us. Once we're done here we should leave. Best we get there and wait out at the meeting place."
Nate had agreed to take the wheelbarrow full of tools around to the vehicles. Emre walked beside him around the station. It was them when Nate asked him about what he used to be like, around two years ago. Emre grinned and gave a sigh, trying to remember what it was like.
"Well, I was a young German-Turk living in America that played soccer and was happily married. It was a perfect life for me, I had everything set out in front of me, like God had purposely given me the perfect life. I thought that until my w-"
No, now was not the time to delve into what happened with his wife, it would just get in the way. People would think he was another survivor telling their sob story, not today. Emre realised he did just cut off where he was, most likely making Nate suspicious.
"You know, it doesn't matter, you don't wanna hear my life story"
They made it around the station and back to the truck where Nate put down the wheelbarrow. He mentioned checking under the station for a gas tank that could be useful. Emre nodded in agreement, gas and fuel would sure help right now. He held his hand forward in a way like he was letting Nate go first.
"Lead the way, my friend"
Emre followed Nate back to the gas station. The man asked how he had met the group he was with when they had arrived at Bear Lake. Emre remembered this story perfectly, but wouldn't go into too much detail.
"Well, it started off as just me and Dannie. She was in a cabin near Bear Lake and I happened to stumble across the same cabin. Others came and joined us like Jake and Sterling. Don't worry, Sterling is a great guy, he was worth it"
"This Dannie," Nate asked, "she a good person. Way I hear it was when everyone dropped their weapons she began to walk around. To me that sounds like suicide. I mean the two rug muchers shot her. Being a cop thought she would have known better."
He tucked his hands in his pockets and smiled. "I'm sure she's good. We'll be good to have more people. You say this Sterling is good. That's good enough for me. You and Jake seem like good people. Such a shame things went down the way they did."
When he reached the gas station he grabbed one of the empty canisters. He carried it over to the pumps. Flicking it in and nothing happened. "Powers out," Nate said frowning. "Unless I did something wrong. Any guesses?"
Emre walked by Nate's side, following him to the gas station. They were gonna check the gas pumps to see if they could aquire any more of it. Although, it wouldn't be so bad if they didn't work, they had two full cans and a half can. Nate asked if Dannie was a good person and repeated what he had heard she did.
"She's a good person, believe me, but I think she just acted on instinct she started firing her gun at them because... For all we knew, they could've been bandits that came to kill us"
Emre remembered how things went down, how Emre just gave up then. If he had known what the Bear Lake would do next, he also would've shot at them, especially after they had shot Sterling for god knows what reason. Nate started to talk about how he thought their group were good people.
"I could definetly say the same thing about you. Even though the gun was filled with blanks, you could've shot us to secure your spot in Bear Lake, but you didn't. It showed you still have morals"
They had finally made it to the gas station where Nate tried one of the pumps. It didn't work and the man turned to him asking for any suggestions. Emre thought about it for a minute then responded.
"If the power's out then unless this place runs on it's own electricity, there's probably no way of getting it to work. Maybe we could check inside the station for a switch or something"
"Well I can't wait to meet them," Nate said sipping the sweat from his hands on his jeans. He leaned more on his good leg and smiled. "Thanks. I guess I am good. I know I cloudl never kill you. Even if I didn't speak to you I wouldn't pull the trigger. I couldn't kill someone who did nothing wrong. Just not right. What they were asking me to do, just wasn't me. I wouldn't have even done anything, or came if they didn't force me to shoot two unarmed men. Two men who did nothing wrong. Just not right. That's why I went against them. Not that I don't like you guys, just not gonna stop being human."
He noticed that Veran and Jake had joined back at the truck, "I doubt it has its own power supply. Don't think we can do anything," he said pointing to the truck, "let's join back with the others."
(Alright just post back in the main thread now I guess.)
