As Hannah explained everything to Susan, Susan laid there listening to her giving Hannah her full attention. Then Hannah went on about her parents along with how she became a orphan ending up in a orphanage and how later she met her. Susan felt sadden for Hannah wishing at that moment she could make Hannah's pain go away and make her parents come back so Hannah could have a real family. All Susan could do at that point is hug Hannah tenderly comforting her showing Hannah that she too is sadden feeling the pain she feels and shares the hurt inside.
Susan try comforting Hannah letting her know now she is part of her family and that she has three brothers which are Sayid, Marcel, and now Susan's half brother Charles as well as a mother who is the leader of the Thieves Creed that Susan come to call mother and Hannah come to call mom whenever they do find them in this hellish new world. Well now you have another family. You have me as your best friend, your lover, and your soulmate. You also now have three brothers. Sayid, Marcel, and my half brother Charles when we find them together. Plus, you have a mother who is our leader of the Thieves Creed that we come to call mother when we find her together. Susan says to her hoping to cheer up Hannah in these harsh times. Susan places her hand on Hannah's side gently rubbing her side then on to her back comforting her. I promise you that we will find our family together and become a family again. Susan says with a slight smile on her face then kisses Hannah on her forehead softly.
For now we need to sleep because we have a lot to do before heading out as you said earlier. Susan says laying there continuing rubbing Hannah's back gently and slowly. Susan then remembers the song that her brother use to sing to her when she was younger when they were together. Susan sings the song in a soft whispering voice.
Far over the Misty Mountains cold,
To dungeons deep and caverns old,
We must away ere break of day,
To seek the pale enchanted gold,
The dwarves of yore made mighty spells,
While hammers fell like ringing bells,
In places deep, where dark thing sleep,
In hollow halls beneath the fells,
For ancient king and elvish lord,
There many a gleaming hoard,
They shaped and wrought, and light they caught,
To hide in gems in hilt of sword,
On silver necklaces they strung,
The flowering stars,on crowns they hung,
The dragon-fire,in twisted wire,
There meshed the light of moon and sun,
Far over the Misty Mountains cold,
To dungeons deep and caverns old,
We must away ere break of day,
To claim our long-forgotten gold.
Goblets they carved for themselves,
And harps to gold;where no man delves,
There lay they long, and many a song,
Was song unheard by men and elves,
The pines were roaring on the height,
The winds were moaning in the night
The fire was red,;it flaming spread,
The tree's like torches blazed with light,
The bells were ringing in the dale,
And men looked up with faces pale,
The dragon's ire more fierce than fire,
Laid low their towers and houses frail.
The mountain smoked beneath the moon,
The dwarves, they heard the tramp of doom,
They fled their hall to dying fall,
Beneath his feet,beneath the moon.
Far over the Misty Mountains cold,
To dungeons deep and caverns old,
We must away ere break of day,
To win our harps and gold from him!
As Susan sang the song to Hannah, Susan can see it made Hannah very relaxed laying there listening to Susan sing the song to Hannah that Susan's brother Charles use to sing to her when she was a kid while Susan was rubbing Hannah's back gently and slowly with her finger tips and her hand. Eventually Hannah fell asleep and Susan too eventually went to sleep with her and arm with her hand resting on Hannah's side and back.
