Acer got everything he could out of the clearly exhausted Anthony. He stopped talking not because he wanted to, but because his body just gave out on him. He wondered how this man survived this long without dying. Of course, Jackson's 'modifications' to Anthony's health was no help, but that was neither here nor there. He would have Dan fix up Anthony and they could nurse him for a few days while he tried to figure out the next move.
He left Anthony in the room in search of Dan, who he assumed had returned by now, figuring out a plan. He wanted to talk to the navigator Remy and the enforcer, Luca, in order to let his needs and wants be known. It was always easier to work out a deal with a woman. They were more logical. At least, Colette was. He had no idea how this Remy person would react to what he wanted and what he wanted was the cop. If he was planning on coming and getting Anthony, even better. He would make up some excuse about it being a misunderstanding and that some punishment was coming Jackson's way or some such bullshit that would keep the new group under his thumb.
"Dan! Dan! Are you back? We need you to take care of a patient!" He went up the stairs, leaving Anthony in the room that was guarded looking for their resident medic. When he went to the room where the last guy was, the one Ivy took care of, he saw it bare. The mattress hadn't been covered and there was no sign of Dan. It was possible he ran into a bit of trouble or perhaps he was making a few other stops. Either way, he would eventually return. He always did.
He checked a few other rooms before coming back downstairs and standing at the front door to the mansion. He gathered up a few guards and a couple of hunters as he heard Rollin's motorcycle pulling into the gate.
"When you see Dan return, let him know he has a patient that needs to be taken care of. He's from another group. I'm pretty sure there's nothing life threatening going on, but Dan needs to keep him alive."
All the men agreed and Acer went out the doors, into the front courtyard as he watched Rollin pull in. That meant the job was done and hopefully the hits to the group had started. If he could break them down, his power over them would grow.
