After relaxing on the porch for what seemed like forever, Joseph got up form his chair and thought, Time to go check the perimeter before it gets too dark. Walking inside, he grabbed his revolver and holster, making sure he had several speed-loaders' worth of rounds before placing it square on his hip and securing it to his pants' belt. Grabbing his trench knife, he set the knife, still in its' sheath, on the other hip, ready to go at a moment's notice.
Satisfied that everything was in order, he stepped outside, slung his lever-action over one shoulder and walked down from the porch; once he got within sight of Sabita, who was up-top the farmhouse, watching over everything, he signaled to her that he was going to walk around the farmhouse and for her to keep an eye on everything while he was out.
Looking around, Joseph decided to walk out to the other side of the barn first and work his way around clockwise, using the farmhouse as the anchor point and going from there. As he began walking out towards the barn, he began quietly whistling to himself the music to The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, using it as a cadence to measure the time while he was out.

Later after a long conversation with her father. Sisa found herself smiling at her and Zack's daughter moving in her bassinet. Sitting on the edge of the bed with a book in her hand as she read its contents to Koya. Knowing her daughter liked the sound of her voice and wouldn't remember the book at all it still gave the mother a joyous feeling. Once the little eyes closed in peaceful slumber after a chapter or so of very bad English reading, Sisa rose from the mattress. Her dark eyes spotting the brochure of the summer camp she and Zack had met at after the world went under.
Grabbing the brochure in her hands seeing happy children at camp. It made her briefly happy before the painful thought of all those children now walkers or orphaned. A gnawing thought of what would happen to her own daughter if something were to happen to her. Would the others care for her? Would Zack? Sisa shook her head dismissing the bad feeling it was causing. Moving once again across end the bedroom over toward the window. Moving old curtains so dark epbriwn eyes could feat on the darkening sky. Distracted by the stars for a moment or two before looking down slowly seeing if she could spot the father of her child. Something in the trees caused for s raised eyebrow but without any further abnormalities the young mothers attention was taken up by Koya's sudden crying.
Zack was laying in a makeshift bed in the barn. His joint burned softly as he reflected on the events of the day. Blinking slowly he could still picture the rage in the old mans face as he punched Zack. He also saw the smug smile of Alejandro. Finishing his break he sat up and smothered the embers so it wouldn't unintentionally burn anything down.
Putting everything back into the hidden compartment of his quiver he grabbed his bow and walked out the door shutting it behind him. A figure in the farm house window caught his attention. He smiled and waved to her before blowing a kiss in her direction. A caw quickly caught his attention as a crow cawed at Zack. Sitting on the wall the bird cawed at him twice more before flying away. "That's right fly away. I'll kick your ass." He chuckled at his comment at the bird as he started back towards the farm house.
Observing Zack from afar as he saw the dirty blond blow a kiss at the beauty in the window that disappeared. Perhaps she saw and was coming down to speak or maybe spending to the baby. Whatever it was Alejandro didn't care for it unless it meant he could speak with Sisa once more. Pondering over his actions earlier had the dark haired man striding over towards Zack without his notice. Halting briefly to watch him carefully before engaging in a conversation. "Haven't you kicked enough ass today Zackary?" He said before expressing apthe same smug smile that he had earlier. Stoping his tongue for a reply from Zack before he continued "I'm so sorry you have to sleep outside. At least you have the warm feeling of knowing your in the mind of the lady in the window." He paused as he nodded toward the farm house. Looking over at the barn trying to not let his jelousy make the best of him. Running his fingers through dark short hair before biting his lip. "Of course your not the only one. Sisa has always been the one to care for lots of different kinds of people"

After a quick check of the barn, Joseph walked out to where the farm's perimeter fencing and began walking along the inside of it, checking to see if there were any gaps or breaks in the wood. Pausing to dispatch a quietly-growling walker that'd been caught between the fence and a nearby tree with a blow from his trench knife, he pushed the walker back with the butt end of his rifle, watching it fall backwards onto the ground.
Looking at it for a moment, Joseph wondered if the now-silent walker had been someone's son or brother or friend before continuing on. He'd only gone a few more steps when he heard some more growling from the nearby woods; looking over, he spotted a couple of walkers mindlessly shambling about; they didn't appear a threat to him but he'd seen worse over the course of the year, he thought as he walked back away from the edge of the woods and continued on, keeping a sharp eye and ear out for anything else out of the ordinary.

After picking up the infant in her arms and rocking her first trying to calm her down. Rubbing the little dark hair that were on Koya's head before hearing a knock on the door. Pausing a moment before walking toward the door and opening it. Unsurprisingly it was Isabella back again to no doubt chat the raven haired beauties ears off. Waving her hand in front of the teen moving her out of her way silently as she stepped out into the hall. Beginning a long one sided conversation which Sisa contributed to very little, only a nod and a yes or no at best.
Once down stairs the pair made it to the front door before Sisa finally tired of the teenagers seemingly trivial problems. It didn't show at all as Sisa smiled conveying the idea that she cared while in reality the South American couldn't relate very well to the younger girls thoughts or at least on most things that came up in talking. "You were a lot more fun before the apocalypse" She said before jokingly nudging Isabella. Rolling her eyes swiftly so the girl didn't see as her statement wasn't kidding on the inside. "Isabella.. Perhaps you shouldn't dwelt on the past. It's not coming back." Sisa said as her dark brown eyes spotted Alejandro and Zack seemingly talking. Unaware of the sadness that her words had lashed into the teen until her eyes wonder back to her right seeing the teen cry a little. Sighing after she patted a gently hand on Isabella's shoulder trying to comfort after her blow. "Sorry I said that too blunt.. But it's the truth and we need to think about the current. Too much time day dreaming and you may be called a sleep walker" Jokingly said at the end. Slipping her hand off as she turned and made her way over to bowman. Giving a small wave before placing her hands on the child held in her arms. "Hola fellas"

Continuing to walk along the outskirts of the farm, Joseph couldn't help but think about the group of walkers that'd been shambling about earlier; he knew, given the changing of the seasons that was underway, that the walkers would be less and less of a risk....but he also knew that the minute you let up, the minute you took your eyes of the prize that was survival in this world, bad things could happen.
Looking back towards the farm, he figured he was about a quarter of the way done with checking the farm's perimeter when he heard a loud groaning from the edge of the woods; turning to look, he saw a lone walker - a large one by the looks of it - shambling around. He began to pay it no attention - it was, after all, well on the other side of the perimeter - when it seemed to stumble over its' own feet and fell shambolically right onto the split-rail fencing they'd been using, knocking a nice-sized hole in the fencing.
Stepping back from the perimeter, Joseph unslung his lever-action and cautiously approached where the walker had fallen, trench knife in hand. Kneeling down, he quickly stabbed the walker in the head, then got back up and watched the area carefully, walking backwards a little bit to get a better view. Though he was satisfied that there weren't any other walkers nearby, Joseph decided to stop his perimeter walk and began walking quickly back towards the farm, hoping to get hold of Zack and have him help watch the perimeter closely.
Zack let out a tiny groan hearing Alejandros voice but kept a smile on his face. "She was very caring when we first met. I was raiding the camp grounds she was staying in." The Archer said as he rubbed on of his eyes hoping to give his red eyes a more natural reason than him smoking pot in the barn. "She let me stay if I helped out. You know I think on the first night we-"
Zack stopped talking when Sisa appeared. "Heya Sweetness." He smiled at Sisa and their child. "And Sweetness number two." He added for Little Koya.
Starring at Zack carefully watch the blonds reaction. Seeing the red eyes with his own dark brown ones had him smiling a little bit as he saw Zack try to rub them pretending. Rolling his eyes as The archers words nearly made him laugh. After resting his hand on the bow men's shoulder with a smug look expressing on his face. "Don't make me laugh Zack. Sisa is far to innocent to have done that in the first day" Alejandro bit lip as his words had a aura of confidence despite the face he could tell by the infant child Koya that the potheads words might be true. Smiling as he saw Sisa make her way towards. The Latino walked around the man in purple, leaning towards him as he whispered so the beautiful women walking towards them wouldn't hear. "Tell me what is like sometime? I want to know before anything happens.." He said threatening him. Smiling and patting him on the back as Sisa asked what is up. "Just chatting"

Walking back towards the farmhouse, Joseph looked around, hoping to grab one of the others and head back out to check the farm's perimeter. Hopefully nothing else is gonna' happen out there as well, he thought. Catching sight of Zack and Alejandro, he called out to them. "Hey, guys," he said, walking over towards them, hoping one of them might help him check the perimeter later on.

Sisa smiled as she waved toward them. "Are you guys talking about guy stuff" Grinning as her mind went back to Zack and her conversation about that. "Pst Alejandro you sister is kind of annoy-" Shutting up as the sound rubbing and banging against the walls caught her attention. Dark brown eyes saw Joseph coming towards them assumingly asking for assistance. "Alejandro you should help them.. Zack you can help if you really want to" Expressing her dislike for whenever Zack was put in danger. More so as the infant got older day by day. Sisa sighed before turning her head to look over at Sabita on watch.

Hearing Sisa's suggestions, it took Joseph only a moment to decide. "Alejandro, I need you to help me make sure the farm's safe and secure before nightfall," adding as he smiled at both Sisa and Koya, "Zack, can you climb up top, give us an extra pair of eyes to see out past the barn?"
Under most circumstances, he would've gone the other direction and picked Zack instead of Alejandro, but he knew Zack would want to be as close to his wife and child as much as possible...and since the three Amigos - Dean, Nick and Mirek - were out on a supply run, it meant either picking Sabita or Alejandro and Joseph knew Alejandro needed to see more of the farm so that he'd know where everything was. "We shouldn't be out too long," Joseph said. "Heard some walkers shambling about in the woods on the other side of the barn; hopefully, they don't shamble towards us anytime soon," still concerned about the hole in the perimeter that one shambler had left earlier and hoping no other walkers got the proverbial hint.
Zack stared at the wall before nodding to Joseph. "Alright I'll climb on top of the house." Moving to Sisa the archer wrapped an arm around the lovely mother of his child and planted a soft kiss on her lips. "I'll be fine my mocha flower." Zack said softly to her with a warm smile. Placing his hand on their child he still couldn't believe he was a father.
"Wanna walk me to the farm house m'lady?" He offered her his arm and escorted her to the farm house. Scratching his eye with his middle finger towards Alejandro he lowered his hand as he led the two to the farm house. "Has your dad cooled down any?"
Raising a dark brow at Joseph, turning his head in his direction as he smiled and nodded. "There was a pretty loud sound of something rubbing against the walls a moment ago?" AJ told Joseph as they walked glancing at the wall where the noise had came from before looking over at the Peruvian. Groaning to himself as Zack flicking the bird at him simply fueled the mans internal anger and frustration.
Running his fingers through his hair as he followed. Shaking his head and telling himself inside his head to remain calm for now. Don't do anything stupid. Don't do anything she will hate. The words floated around his mind before finally focusing on Joseph and their task. "What is the plan B if anything happens?" He referred to if they got attack. The thought of a breach helped his reasons for wanting to know. Rubbing his chin scratching it before placing it back on his weapon in case of any walkers.

Raising a dark brow at Joseph, turning his head in his direction as he smiled and nodded. "There was a pretty loud sound of something rubbing against the walls a moment ago?" AJ told Joseph as they walked glancing at the wall where the noise had came from before looking over at the Peruvian.
"Yeah, unfortunately, there were a couple of walkers shambling about out in the woods past the wall,' Joseph replied as both he and Alejandro headed out. "Took care of one of them with my trench knife," pointing to the long knife at his waist, "but one stumbled through and took out a small piece of the wall out there, so we need to keep an eye on the area, make sure no other walkers try to come through it," pointing towards the gap, which was now visible. "See the gap there, Alejandro? That's where the walker stumbled through, like a drunk man in the depths of an ether binge. If we can, we'll see if we can jury-rig a temporary fix until Dean and the others return later."
"What is the plan B if anything happens?" He referred to if they got attack. The thought of a breach helped his reasons for wanting to know. Rubbing his chin scratching it before placing it back on his weapon in case of any walkers.
"Plan B, Alejandro?" Joseph said, standing and thinking. "If its' just that one breach, we can handle it ourselves; the gap's only big enough for one walker at a time to go through and if that's the case, after a couple, the gap should be blocked up. If not - and if more come through, then we fall back to the barn," pointing towards the barn they'd walked past earlier, "and try to stop them there. If that fails, Alejandro, and we start to get flooded with walkers, then we grab as many supplies as we can get out of the farmhouse into the RV's and we take off down that dirtroad at the gate there," pointing towards the dirtroad off in the distance. "We can always rebuild a settlement, Alejandro, even in this day and age...but we can't rebuild lives and if anyone deserves to have a chance in this world, its' Sisa and her daughter and as long as they survive, things are good to go.
If this farmstead falls to the walkers," Joseph said, pulling out a hand-drawn copy of a map he'd made months earlier from memory after a supply run, "there's an intersection a few miles to the west where all of us will rendezvous at. To the east of that intersection lies Bristol and points east, to the west lies Johnson City and points west...but that intersection is where we meet up if the farmstead falls. Hopefully," he added, folding the map back up and returning it to a back pocket, "that won't happen anytime soon." Looking back at the perimeter, he said, "Now let's check this perimeter out and see if anything else is going on, alright?"

A faint tint of read cover the tan woman's face a she felt Zack's lips gently land a kiss on her. Sisa's smile got even bigger as Zack called her a mocha flower, part of which was her name. "Hey you remembered my name means Flower in Runa Simi" Kissin the archers cheek before glancing over her shoulder at the infant of theirs. Smiling at the child as she babbled slightly to herself making the expression on the Mother ecstatic. "Not full words but it's something, no?" She asked her lover with a smirk.
Rolling her eyes as laughter escaped her soft lips. Snorting once before the laughter ended she placed her hand in Zack's. "Your pretty damn cute when your polite" Slightly teasing the man next to her as they made way for the farm house. Quickly the laughter from the raven haired beauty subsided as the father of her child asked about her father. "He held Koya for a while in the house with me. Then we talked about Mama, He and I cried before separating again" Sisa sadly said as she shook her head placing a hand on the ex football players shoulder. Looking into his eyes for a moment before speaking. "He has gone through a lot Zack. In the only family he has left and though he wouldn't never admit this to another man he is quite upset. So promise me you won't take your shirt off and make a ass of yourself again?" She asked in a rather serious tone while her hands squeezed Zack's.
Alejandro listened attentively to Josephs words as a slight cold wind blew causing the tan skinned man to reach in a pocket and pull out a hat which he put on so it helped a bit in the fall weather. Nodding to show that he was in fact listening as Joseoh brought up not being able to rebuild lives. "I don't understand why Sisa would bring a child into a world where she will suffer and go through the worst of humanity. Especially a daughter" He said as his dark eyes looked over at the farmhouse for a whiles he heard Joseph talking about the plan. Shaking his head yes as they continued walking the perimeter after they opened the gates and got outside the walls sighing as he cracked his neck with a roll of his head. Turning the safety off his gun as the two walked around the haven. "Where do see you group in ten years?" Smiling a little as he broke the silence with a high school question he remembered all to easy. So many I don't Know on oapers were written back in the day.

Hearing Alejandro's comment, Joseph sighed a moment before looking over at the younger man. "Maybe I'm too much of a optimist but I'd like to think...hold on," pausing to dispatch a walker who'd fallen through a gap in the wall with his trench knife. Wiping the blade off on the ground, he placed it back in its' scabbard before continuing. "As I was saying, maybe I'm too much of an optimist but I'd like to think that humanity will survive, even with things as they are. Otherwise, what's the point...and I don't think that way, Alejandro. Humanity will perserve...maybe not," pausing again to check a piece of the perimeter wall, "maybe not like ti used to, with big cities and all that, but humanity will perserve. It has too."
Turning the safety off his gun as the two walked around the haven. "Where do see you group in ten years?" Pausing to think about it some, Joseph said, "I don't rightly know, Alejandro. Maybe there'll be settlements, large and small, across the land...scattered bits of humanity trying to survive and outlast the walkers. At least, that's what I'd like to think will happen. Ten years down the road? That question....I honestly don't know."
Zack smiled at Sisa's comment about the baby's babbling being close to talking. "Well this will be the only time she won't talk back to us." He chuckled. The archer listened as Sisa talked about what her and her father talked about in the house. Stopping when she placed a hand on his shoulder he nodded softly.
"Alright I won't do anything to piss off your dad. Promise." He offered her a warm smile. "I'm gonna climb up the house and watch out for Joseph and Alejandro. I'll give you and Koya a kiss tonight before bed." Zack kissed the top of Koyas head before kissing Sisas cheek. "Robin Hood has to protect the poor from the rich little one."
Zack quickly darted up the side of the house like he had multiple time before. Grabbing the side of the roof he pulled himself up and let out a huff. He should start doing more push ups at night. Grabbing his bow he notched an arrow and examined the area outside the walls. There was movement but he couldn't tell if it was the wind moving the leaves or walkers. He spotted a stray walker wander out from the trees as it aimlessly wandered away from the farm. Zack had seen a more of them appear throughout the week.

Sisa shook her head as the aging farmhouse came to view. Looking up at the window toward their bedroom as Zack made Sisa laugh. "Trust me she won't talk back" Raising her brow jokingly pretending to put her fist into her hand. Acting as though she agreed to exstreme woopings which the sweet Peruvian didn't or at least not to the form of abuse.
Sisa was pleased as her boyfriends words tickeled her ear. "Thank you" She said as her hand gave shoulder a squeeze before sliding off back to the women's side. I wonder if he knows how attractive he is when he includes Koya. Sisa thought to herself before turning her head swiftly to catch Zack's kiss on her lips. Giving a nod with a kind smile before she turned to the right, stepping up on to the porch and entering the homestead through the front door.
Sighing as as she turned the homemade cloth holding the baby to her back so her dark eyes were now facing the baby in front. "Ahh someone looks like she wants a nap" She talked to the infant in a rather cute way as the two went up stairs. Rocking her child slowly as a soft hum was coming from the raven haired women's mouth. Gently rocking until she was in front of the bassonet. Looking at Koya lovingly as she placed her into the bassonet. Staying stood up so she could simply enjoy the view.
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
