They were coming toward them. Rose couldn't belive it, their plan worked. Maybe they were both just so dam lucky. She held her gun in front of her and looke at Hera. "We have a bike, but it can only carry me and her," Rose said looking at the man as he apporached them. "But the streets were clear, none of your friends with the explosions and loud guns."
She looked at the other two, "I'm Rose, this is Hera. We just wanted to help, honestly thought it would go worse than that. Did expect you guys to just be able to walk away. I expected more gun fire or bombs going off." She bit her lip, "but the dude with the weird accent is right, we should get the hell away from here. Like right now." She backed up, keeping we gun out for both saftet from these three people and from the men with guns and bombs. "Do you guys have an weapons beside the caveman ones. Like guns or something."
Rose looked back, "are there more of you we need to save? What about that truck you were in, could we take that?"
Euberis was stunned by Castle's bold move. They men could have just as easily had pulled out a gun and put a bullet in the brit. "Yeah brains may not be his strong suit but his brass is pretty heavy. Get your weapons and lets go, we've wasted enough time and luck." The doctor addressed Rose, "hijacking cars isn't my strong suit, but apparently it is Lara's. That truck seems to be the only thing large enough to fit all of us. If you want we can ramp your bike into the back of it, then Smokey and Bandit our way out of this fucking place. However, I'd like to hurry the hell up if we can."
Lara glared at Castle, letting him know full well how she felt about that little stunt. She glanced at the Doc as he mentioned her name," I grew up with five brothers working in my dads garage, if it isn't too new I should be able to start it." She shook her head at the woman," nah, I think all the others bugged out, but they might come back for us, I know Marko will, he's trained to." She glanced as she let that comment fall. She almost said too much, and was not going to offer more.
"Wyatt's car should be parked on the other side of the lot, but means wadding through those assholes." She glanced at castle," serves you right for doing something stupid like that." She had no sympathy for him right now. " So what's the plan?"
It was all a rush of words once they all came together. Hera was faced with the reality that, like it or not, she was going to be leaving with these people. It made her nervous but she had been the one to initiate contact so whatever happened it was on her.
"No need to make all that noise getting the bike up in the truck. We can ride out behind you. It's going to be noisy when I start her up anyways. We likely won't have time to get it loaded before we have bullets flying our way. Might be best if we could just follow behind. Besides, no insult intended, I don't quite trust you people yet, and there is no way I'm putting Rose in that position if you turn out to be the wrong type."
The low wall that had saved their lives when the explosions started going off was now a pockmarked and broken mess of concrete and chipped bricks that barely stood up. Yet ironically in a turn of fate, Marko and Wyatt now found themselves crouched behind that same wall. This time, they were the attackers. Or rescuers, anyway.
The stolen truck, along with a drunken Bruno was left behind a few miles away. Soon the man would come to his senses and realise he could escape. It didn't matter however, as by then, if all go according to plan, they would already be long gone from this place in Wyatt's old truck.
If all goes according to plan. Marko breathed deeply steeling himself for the batshit-insane stunt he and Wyatt was about to pull. The plan was to set fire to one of the vehicles or something as significant and use it as a distraction to free the others. If they don't take the bait, or put out the fire too quickly, it would be two possibly insane yet overwhelmly underarmed men in comparison, against a platoon of soldiers with automatic rifles. He didn't much like the odds, but there was really no other choice that would allow him to sleep relatively soundly for the rest of his short life.
"Ready for the fireworks?" Marko asked the man crouched next to him in hushed tones, in his hand a bottle of whiskey with an alcohol soaked rag stuffed into the neck - a good old molotov cocktail, the positively simplest and most effective IED in the history of mankind's gratuitous destructive inventions. Once he received the confirmation from Wyatt, shit would get real.

Wyatt and Marko planned the rescue mission very good and really thought things through. When they arrived it seemed pretty quiet, so Wyatt used that opportunity to sabotage all their vehicles by deflating their tires. Just when he finished the last one some guard returned and he rushed once more behind the little wall. There he crouched down next to Marko who was waiting for him. “That’s taken care of, unless they have Gandalf or Harry Potter here to fix their vehicles they aren’t going anywhere.” Wyatt joked but made sure to keep his voice low. Then Marko asked if he was ready for the fireworks. “My car is just down the road, so when they are distracted and we get Tala and Castle out, we should make pairs of two, you and someone go to the truck we got from them and the other one and myself go to my car and we meet up at the bar.” Wyatt said. “That way we can keep two vehicles, sounds like a plan?” Wyatt asked.
Before Marko answered Wyatt nodded. “And yes I’m ready now, so let the light show begin.” He replied referring to his question for earlier. Then Wyatt grabbed the bottle of whiskey that was on the floor. Marko had one and he had one, that would be enough to set some things on fire. Wyatt used a lighter they took from the bar and set the rag on fire, then he did the same with Marko his bottle. “Now!” he yelled in a hushed tone. Then Wyatt threw his bottle close to some vehicles to the right. He figured Marko would go for the left ones.
Rose saw the fire erupt around the cars. "Are those friends of yours. Or are these men blowing themselves up," she asked moving away from the three strangers and to Hera's other side. "We should leave, now."
Rose saw bullets spraying there way, and ducked behid the building. "If you have that plan, it would be a good time to start it," she said watching the fire engulf some of the cars. She held her gun but didn't shoot it, she didn't even know if she could. She was shaking, her gun shaking. Killing the dead was one thing, but the living. Even if they were bad men, they still didn't deserve it.
She crouched low, pulling Hera with her, "you think we should stay with these people of split. They seem dangerous, I don't wan us killed." She kissed her cheek and smiled, "we could just run, leave them. But something is telling me we should stay, stay for them. They'll need the help. Just don't get shot."
Castle chucked. "Stupid but effective plus if you heard some of the stuff i've done you wouldn't be surprised." Castle leant a little on tala when the girl insulted his weapon. "Theres an art to killing with my Caveman weapon plus guns are terrible loud." he said as gun fire went off in the distance. "On second thought guns right now dont really matter." Castle attached the sword back on his belt as he reached around and pulled out his pistol from the back of his toruses. "I need a new suit I dont like running around in rags."
Tala bore Castles weight as best she could. She glanced at the girls. She wasn't sure about trusting new people, but what choice did they have? She leaned I. And kissed Castle's cheek," calm down."
About that time was when the first fire bomb went off. Tal turned and took Castle with her. She looked at the chaos the incindiaries had caused and she spoke quickly,"It's Marko, he came back for us! It's a distraction!" She looked at the doc and girls," we gotta get to Wyatts car! Come on!"
Tala grabbed Castle by the belt and started going," come on Brit, hobble S best you can, and I will sew you. Fucking suit!" She spoke through r gritted teeth as she maneuvered past a truck bed that was on fire. Damn that was a waste of supplies. She frowned." Sides. I thought you liked being naked, Cas." She smirked as she gripped the back of his belt tighter and pushed on, heading to the far side of the parking lot.
"All right, sounds like we got a plan" He spoke quietly, and took a deep breath. "Let's go"
The first bottle, a blazing orange flame, flew. The soldiers' attention were immediately drawn to it, and as it came down and landed near one of their supplies truck, they scattered. The glass broke, the alcohol poured free, the burning rag licked the fuel, and the violent inferno raged.
A second one soon followed, this one right onto one of their mounted guns, and in turn the ammunition. At first, there was only the slow and steady crackling of flames. But once the cartridges, their insides filled with gunpowder enough to propel a .50 caliber bullet hundred of miles per second through the air, were cooked to the point of breaking, they detonated and further caught the soldiers off guard.
Thankfully, the chaos was on their side tonight. Amidst the confusion, between trying to put out the fires and finding the ones who did this, not a soul noticed Wyatt and Marko's crouched figures in the darkness as they made their way to where Tala and Castle were held. Marko couldn't help but crack a smile. Somehow, their plan worked.
"There, that's them!" Marko called out to Wyatt as he spotted the figures, one limping in the distance, heading towards Wyatt's truck. His excitement was quickly drowned out once he saw more people following them. "Shit" He cursed under his breath. Marko had hoped to avoid any confrontation, but it seemed to be out of the question.
"Get your gun out Wyatt" He said as he drew his own rifle. With the ammunition truck still ablaze behind them, a few gun shots of their own could hardly be heard. "Keep moving. We need to get close and hold them up. I don't want to kill anyone who doesn't have it coming" He held the rifle steady, speaking calmly even as the andrenaline rushed through his veins.

If they needed a distraction it surely worked out. People where running around, flames building up and a lot of panic. Wyatt was just about to run closer as he heard Marko yell that he spotted their friends. Wyatt looked in the direction and he saw Castle and Tala, but followed by some other people. Marko noticed the others too and cursed, Wyatt shared his opinion.
But nevertheless they had to get their friends out, so they started to run in the direction of Tala and the others. On the way Marko asked Wyatt to get his gun out, followed by him telling Wyatt to keep moving, so that they could hold them up, he wasn’t up for killing more people and Wyatt was thinking about it the same way. So while they ran closer Wyatt grabbed is gun, but didn’t raise it yet, he only tighten the grip. It didn’t take long before they finally reached Tala and Castle.
But when they reached them it didn’t seem like the people that followed them were the ‘bad guys’. “Thank god you guys are safe, friend or foe?” Wyatt said as he looked at the two girls behind them. “Hold that thought, so plan 3 go to my car and 3 follow Marko to the other car that way we have two vehicles, if those girls are enemies, then I just told them our plan, but we’ll knock them out.” Wyatt said serious, yet a little jokingly. “Oh yes we did miss you both.” Wyatt said with a little smile. “But now we need to get out.” He added.

Castle was surprised when tala kissed him on the cheek he looked at her with a small small. "that would have been rather romantic if not for the situation we are in." Castle wished nothing more then to escape this already tiresome situation. That's when the sound of what could only be the meterforical cavalierly came with explosions.
Before Castle could truly react Tala grabbed a hole of him and started dash. "Oh bloody I need a damn nap." he cried as the pain grew more and when tala commented about castle liking to be naked his only remark was. "you can see me naked any time but id rather avoid a blow job from a dead head." the pain emanating from his wound was great but seeing that red thong still attached to talas wrist made the pain bearable and so he hobbled on at great pace.
Tala heard Castles remark, but was solely focused on getting him through this lot. She saw two figures approaching them through the smoke. Shit! Fuck! " Cas, grab the pistol at my back, we got company coming." She didn't stop them moving. As the two came closer and she could make them out better, she almost jumped with joy ." Marko, Wyatt!" She held onto Castle, and that stopped her from lunging at Marko for a big hug. She knew he wouldn't leave her behind, him or Wyatt. She smiled at Wyatt as he spoke," they are on our side, Cas's leg is fucked up, he shouldn't walk on it." She moved closer to hand off him to Wyatt. His weight was more than she could handle for much longer. She heard the plan and looked at Marko," so , what three goes where?" They needed to hurry. This distraction wasn't gonna work for long.
The car was moving slowly down the road, there was something wrong with the car. The old BMW was dying, it had been acting up ever since he first got it, yesterday. He now realized why it had been abandoned. It was bad not being able to know what the problem with the car was but it was even worse not knowing how to drive, he was just guessing, to be honest, it was probably he himself who had mucked up the car somehow.
The car roared. Good, he thought. The car picked up its pace, he eventually saw a large group of survivors to the side of the road. Emyr was happy, at least his car was picking up speed now, so he wouldn't have to meet the survivors. It wasn't really the fact that they were a threat to his life, it was the fact that they were, well.. people. The only real decent people he'd ever met were his parents, everyone else just threw him around and.. he didn't like to think about it.
Emyr's BMW was right next to the group now, in a couple seconds, he would pass them and not have to worry about them every again. Then the car began to slow down again. No. No. No. Not now. Any other time but not now! It was getting slower and slower, he was right next to them now. And then it stopped. Emyr slammed his foot down on the pedal but it was no use, the car wasn't budging. This was his worst nightmare. Emyr stepped out of the car, the people were right in front of him. He was holding his shotgun in one arm but hadn't pointed it. Emyr was terrified, scared stiff. He froze, too scared to make his next move.

Wyatt smiled as he saw how happy Tala was. Then she handed Castle to him while telling that the girls were on their side and that Castle his leg wasn’t doing too well. Wyatt supported Castle using making sure he had him on his good side, Wyatt his shoulder was fiwed but it still had to heal. “You ok Cas?” Wyatt asked.
Then he heard how Tala asked who was joining who. “Well I’m taking Castle with me obviously.” Wyatt said little jokingly. “So I need one more person to join me.” He added.
But just then a car drove closer and stopped in front of the group. Wyatt still had his gun in his free hand, so he immediately raised it, pointing it at the vehicle that just stopped. A guy stepped out with a shotgun not raising it yet. “Who are you, if you belong to the crazy people here, you are screwed, answer fast, my finger is itching.” Wyatt said in a stern tone.
The situation just terrified him, people. He was going to have to talk to these people, maybe even live with these people. Still not moving, unable to point his gun, he stood there. He could not make out if they were the good sort of people or the bad sort. It didn't matter much to him, being with people was still a problem. If he could turn invisible right now, he would, but that was only a fantasy, he had to face the reality.
One of the men immediately raised his gun at Emyr. Emyr was breathing heavily now. It was clear to the group how he was petrified of the situation, they could make of that what they could. The man demanded answers immediately, he was told to talk fast or he'd end up on the ground. Talking, oh no. Communication was most certainly not his strong suit.
His voice croaked. "Uh. Oh. Umm." Emyr was mumbling now, if he kept on like this, he'd be dead. "I. I-I'm Emyr. Em-Emyr Jones. M-My c-car just broke down. Crazy people? I don't belong to any group or h-have been part of one. The only person I've been with was my mother, uh, umm, that was awhile ago." Emyr looked at the floor. Emyr spoke in his mild Welsh accent again. "It's just been me and me only, on my own for months. I-I have not done anything at all t-to harm your group whatsoever."
Emyr was intrigued to hear the man ask him if he was part of a group. A group. To be part of a group, to imagine himself with others was crazy. All he had ever wanted was to be part of something but when that never happened, he kept himself away. He hoped he wasn't going to have to do much more explaining, talking again. When he thought about it, that was one of the longest conversations he had ever had with a person, despite it only being virtually three sentences long.
Tala stood wide eyed staring at the car as it rolled to a stop right there in front of them. She looked at Marko and the others. Wyatt took the lead and she was grateful. After this night she had no idea what to even think about this. A man got out and he looked scared to death.
He answered quarts questions and she just couldn't help but feel sorry for the an. He seemed just out of his element and scared shitless. Tala looked over at all the others." We gotta move, bring him, he won't stand a chance with these guys" she wanted as much space between them and the militia as possible.
Emyr didn't like all the people looking at him, it made him feel uncomfortable, he desperately wanted out of the situation but just couldn't bring himself to remove himself from the group, too afraid of them to act.
A woman spoke up, telling the group how they had to move. Move? Well at least that would mean he wouldn't have to speak to them as much if they were travelling instead of talking. The next thing she said was to take Emyr with them, saying that he had no chance of surviving if he stayed.
Emyr had no idea of the situation they were in. Why were they in danger? What people were they talking about? More people? Emyr was panicking, breathing heavily. He now wanted to go with the group, if he apparently wasn't going to make it out alive if he stayed. He'd take a chance on them, a chance he was absolutely fearing.
Rose was confused at what was going on. First two more showed up, then another man. There was just supposed to be three, three people they went to. That was it, no more, no less. Small groups were the best groups. She didn't like big groups, and knee Hera didn't either. Rose looked at the girl, her lover and took her had. Why wasn't she saying Anything? It scared her.
He other hand still held the gun as she looked at the young man who stumbled on his words. The girl said he wouldn't survive, didn't susprise her. The man didn't look like a survivor. He had a car though that's all that mattered. She turned and looked up at the woman who they had attempted to rescue from no one.
"Where are you even going," she asked, "what direction? If we run back to our bike I want to be able to find you again. We need a destination. I know you want to get away from the guys with bombs, but where are you heading too? It would be niceo to have a place to meet you at, incase we get separated."
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
