Analia glared at Frank and his group, she absolutely hated the idea having any lingering connection to memories of mother. She didn’t want to go with him, she didn’t want to go with any of them. Her heart rammed against her rib cage with force as Matt aimed for her, she was fully prepared to take the shot but sadly William beat her to it. She wasn’t exactly William’s biggest fan but the man had damn good timing, she didn’t bother lingering to look at the fallen corpse and instead agreed with Julie and followed close behind. Analia was eager to free the prisoners and give these bastards every ounce of fight inside her, they’d pay for everything they did and more.
Her eyes struggled to adjust to the dark halls but she followed the distinct jingle of the keys Julie carried. Her heart didn’t rest, every beat was a thump against her rib cage that left her slightly nauseous. Even if she was hell bent on revenge the image of mother and her children brought an ominous fear she couldn’t quite shake. If she ever got lost in Mother’s cruel mind she might lose the last bits of her sanity. She was scared to look up and see Dean, she knew she’d shifted from the person he learned to know to someone overcome with rage and it wasn’t the thought she wanted to leave him with if she had to die around the next corner.
Even then it was impossible to will her shaky legs forward as he stopped abruptly, her hand reached out to prevent her from falling into him. she couldn’t quite meet his gaze even then so she opted to look down at her slender fingers instead. Analia considered the thought with furrowed brows, they could leave this place in their rearview mirror and forget all the hellish memories they made inside those godforsaken walls. But she couldn’t, she never backed out of a fight and she wasn’t exactly about to start then.
Her gaze washed over with shaky confidence and she lifted her chin to look at him. “I can’t leave” she decided with a forced smile, “If I stop now I’ll lose my sanity, I have to finish this. We couldn’t have come this far just to run. Even if I die today I’m sure as hell taking a few of these bastards with me” she fell into a light jog before turning to face him quickly.
“This isn’t your fight Dean, I can’t watch you die because I was too stubborn to turn around” her voice felt so unlike herself and she knew she couldn’t bear to lose Dean too. It would rip her apart like a wood chipper, she wasn’t sure her soul could carry a burden like that. “But thank you, if we survive this I’ll buy you a drink” her lips parted in a light chuckle as she reached out for his hand. She pulled him along after the faint jingle of the keys down the hall.
