Delilah stood in the street. She was surrounded by walkers that mostly left her unbothered. She wasn't announcing her presence, with loud noises or unneeded attraction. The few that bothered her she took out with the flick of her wrist. The silent Shing! of her blade cutting through the thick air. A head would roll and she would keep moving. Delilah moved through the street quickly and quietly.
It wasn't long ago that she had come to find herself under the leadership of Omega. The man was deranged, but she saw the madness in his eye as twinkle of something special. She couldn't place her finger on what that was exactly, but she knew that he would have some vital role to play before his days were through. Mother could have killed him. It would have been easy enough, and she may have paid for that with her life; but she might have done the world a favor. Instead, she made a bargin with him. Omega allowed her to operate without the threat of his men hunting her and her children.... Mother agreed to be part of his army.
A fair enough trade if there ever was one. Mother simply had to recruit on his behalf. Follow his orders, and above all refer to him always as Omega. The End. Delilah was never one for flashy showmanship. She was a simple Kentucky woman with a quiet upbringing. She believed in the simpler things in life. Love, chivalry....Family values.
Delilah wasn't working for Omega at the moment. No, what she was doing here was more personal. One of her children decided to be a naughty little child and run away from home. She knew where he was likely to go. She came here with the intent of bringing back his head. Delilah ducked behind a car. Her eyes narrowed as she saw her boy peering out of a doorway before closing it. He was in hiding and keeping an eye out for Mother and her children. "You can't leave me...." She growled under her breathe. "NO ONE LEAVES ME!" She dared to growl a little louder. Delilah was going to punish this naughty child and bring him home weather he liked it or not. Only she was only interested in his head. Naughty children didn't get to have bodies to disobey her with.
Delilah stayed crouched behind the car. There was blood speckling the light wrinkles on her face. Random tears in her williowy sweater. Her dress flapped furiously in the wind. It was almost as if the wind itself knew the violence that was about to take place. A smile spread across Delilah's face. "You've been a bad boy Nathaniel." She said to herself. What she didn't realize, what Nathaniel didn't realize was that the little hide away he had found wasn't empty... There was already someone living there.
