The girl looked slightly confused as Rodney palmed her cheek, glancing up at the guy with a quizzical look in her bright green eyes. Haley didn't cry out as the stinging disinfectant was applied, the girl instead just tensing up and cringing again. Haley remained still as Rodney helped her though, not complaining or really making any noise despite the peroxide hurting like hell. Despite clearly having gone through hell, Haley was still kind of adorable all things considered. She looked kind of like a little action movie hero what with the red bandanna, heck, even the location of that gash seemed to be the sort of thing you'd see in a popcorn action flick from the 80s after the star gets into a brutal firefight and does the "cool guys don't look at explosions" trope with that cut being the only consequence of something that should have easily killed them.
The silence was certainly somewhat awkward though, Haley kept expecting the guy to say something as he was putting the fresh bandage on. When the silence was finally broken though, it wasn't any less awkward, with the guy randomly apologising. She shook her head, adjusting the bandage so it sat a little more comfortably. "Hi sorry, I'm Haley." The girl gave a small grin at her own terrible joke. "Naw seriously, what're you saying sorry for? I was the one that hit you. And uh, yeah, sorry about that."
Post by Rodney Farris Young on Mar 24, 2017 22:19:10 GMT -5
Haley's first few words came abruptly, the surprise causing Rodney's face to spread with curiosity moments before noticing her implied joke. He had no expectations of a real reply, let alone a sense of humor. Haley was the first child of her kind to come into contact with Rodney, appearing hardened by survival. His expression was somewhat placid before new words broke the short pause between Haley's last.
"It's not even important.. I deserved to be hit." He said through a concisely depressed chuckle while fixing his position to a more comfortable one. The black duffle bag was still in his lap and already zipped since he didn't need many supplies. Placing it in the back behind him, he spoke shortly after his initial response.
"Haley.." he said before turning back around in his seat,"..You're a very beautiful, precious Haley.." his words came in a sad, raspy and low tone with a light smirk to paint his visage. Rodney couldn't fight his thoughts, let alone his emotions at a time like this. A tear gently went down the left and right side of his face, one after the other as he stared into the illuminated night in front the car..
Post by Haley Cameron on Mar 25, 2017 16:06:27 GMT -5
Satisfied that the bandage was now sitting on her head properly she clambered back over to the front, first checking the bandage over in the sun visor mirror and putting her bandana back on to hide it as much as possible before leaning around the seat to both keep an eye on this guy and keep the conversation going. Despite them both breaking the silence, it was still a rather awkward conversation. Haley raised a brow at what Rodney was saying, first his depressed little chuckle and then that rather strange... compliment? It seemed like a compliment. It was weird.
She looked like she didn't know how to respond to that, looking again rather confused. Haley remained silent for a bit, mulling over just what to say. Heck, mulling over if it was best to even say anything at all. Perhaps a "Damn fucking right I'm beautiful" would work? Humour's a good way to deflect such things after all. In the end, she just settled with a more awkward "Uhm, thanks?" It wasn't exactly snappy or witty but you try coming up with something better when you're twelve, your head hurts like hell, you're in a car with two people you don't really know that well and you haven't slept in what must be several days by now bar a few power naps from fear of shambling corpses trying to bite your face off.
It was at this moment she noticed the tears running down Rodney's face. Again, not really knowing what to say she came out with a simple "You okay?"
Post by Rodney Farris Young on Mar 25, 2017 17:33:42 GMT -5
Rodney sat silently against the girls question. Was he okay? That was like asking a sane man if the apocalypse seemed sane itself; Rodney caught a bit of comfort in another chuckle moments after she asked. It was a cute enough gesture to bring faded thoughts of children's naive, innocent nature. Looking at Haley was harder because of the fact that the light her youth held was nothing more than a dieing glimmer grasping ledges in darkness. A faint smile on his face, he said the first thing to come to mind.
"..I'm just happy you're alive, Haley." His words were still low but clearer than the previous,".. You kids just get to me... that's all.." he said while turning his head to face the plain black wall of shadow outside the car window.
Post by Haley Cameron on Mar 25, 2017 19:59:18 GMT -5
Yeah, guessing asking if he was okay was kind of a stupid question. But what else could she ask seeing the grown man with tears running down his cheeks. This guy still seemed kind of weird though, and honestly, Rodney still had Haley somewhat on edge but hey, being on edge was a constant background thing these days. If you're not always on your guard, you're gonna get bitten, especially if you're small. It had happened to too many people in Haley's life. Far too many.
Again, she didn't really know what to say in response to Rodney, he was glad that she was still alive. She was also very much glad that she was still in one piece despite everything that had happened. She thought more about what the guy said though, and the way he seemingly broke from reality before the close shave with the undead. Everyone has lost someone. Some more than others. Seemingly that's just how the world worked today. "Right um... Well, sorry about that I guess. Didn't mean to "get to you"."

Alexander drove down the road as he heard the two going back and forth. Slowly, Alexander began to let the speed slow down as he squinted a bit, trying to look into the darkness on the left side. "Ah, there is it." He was referring to the turn he needed to jump onto. Making the left, he turned on to a street with an old worn sign that said, 'Welcome to San Simeon'. Pulling onto the road, the older man drove up the path way which lead to the main gate where they could see guards/ scouts roaming about. When they spotted the SUV coming to a stop at the gate's, two of them walked over while one radioed up ahead to the other's at the castle. Lowering his window, Alexander popped his head out. "Hey guys. Mind if you open the gates please? Got a little girl and an older man in here that need to be checked out."
Nodding they're head, they opened the gates and he rolled on through. As they passed the gates and the guards, the gates closed behind them as he drove on up to the Castle. Turning into a parking lot, Alexander parked his SUV right next to one of the group member's Ford Bronco. Turning off the Navigator, Alex opened the door and grabbed his things. Stepping out, he shut the door behind him as he waited for them. "Well everyone, welcome to San Simeon. We will get each of you checked out by the medics and then we can either get you the grand tour today or tomorrow after your all rested up and get some food in your bellies." Smiling, Alexander began walking towards the castle.

Rodney heard the girls words as he stared into the night wall, painting another smirk across his face. He must've been acting crazy for a little girl to realize how she was effecting him, or at least he thought while the slow tears dried. He wiped his face with the sleeve of his black leather jacket before turning to face Haley again,"You're cool kid." He spoke in tone much more suited for regular conversation. The rapid change may have startled Haley since he was just teary eyed, but he had no intentions of letting his emotions best him. The car ride was enough time for him to get his head together. It appeared shortly after his response to the girl that Pepper would announce a left turn, heading closer to their destination.
His eyes turned from Haley and sat with lazy attention upon the backseat of Pepper. The whole time he was so confused that he didn't even realize that a total stranger he planned to rob was offering assistance. He planned to keep attentive to the possible mishaps of betrayal; a quality of the things Rodney knew of that kept him alone during the apocalypse. Trust was twice as hard to earn in this world now, Rodney wouldn't just give it to Alexander or any of his associates.
As Pepper cleared the gate, his attention turned to Haley again. If something could possibly happen to her here then he wanted to be the obstacle of whatever came. She was just a little girl, literally.. it didn't matter if it wasn't his daughter. He'd been killing all he came across without a second thought who held bad intentions.. What better way to go then possibly helping a little girl out of a bad settlement?
Sighing at his thoughts as they parked, Rodney exited the car nearly simultaneous to the others. After a Pepper attempted reassurance, Rodney spoke boldly in reply,"What about the little girl? Who's gonna supervise her?" His hand on the top of the Suv door, he closed it while taking a few steps away from the vehicle, examining his surroundings with hands-on-hips action.
Rodney was in full effect.
His next words followed as he paced curiously about their vicinity,"I don't know you people and this little girl doesn't know you people. I know how people are out here, I've seen just about the worse of them." He stopped pacing, facing the opposite direction of the Suv, Haley and Pepper as looked upon more of the beautifully fortified San Simeon,"Haley, if you want someone to watch over you, I'm here.. As weird as that may seem with our meeting. I can even show you a few things." While addressing Haley, Rodney turned around to face them again. His words were hard at first, his expression just as solid. Once he noted how he would show Haley whatever he could, the same expression and voice grew softer quickly. He hoped he could sweeten the deal.
Killing the bad was doing well for a crazy man, but maybe it was time for a change. Maybe Haley was that change. It had been so long since he had seen a living child, he couldn't see her die or come to harm for some reason..
Perhaps the goals of a traveling wanderer are always meant to change so abruptly, or perhaps the brutal murdering spree of the ill willed just wasn't the right goal. These thoughts fluttered Rodney's mind after his words finished.
Post by Haley Cameron on Mar 26, 2017 20:47:30 GMT -5
Haley did indeed think that Rodney was at least somewhat cray cray by this point. What with the stuff earlier, and the conversations just now. She was about to pipe up again when Pepper announced that the group was approaching their destination. She turned around in her seat, looking to the sign and trying to peer through the darkness to spot the settlement itself. Eventually spotting it, she just sort of visually scanned the area, not saying anything as they entered through the gate. Guard patrols, good fortifications, built out of an old castle. Looked pretty damn solid. Of course, appearances can be deceiving and just briefly looking at the place wasn't exactly a good way to judge what sort of people the occupants were. Nonetheless, Haley was seeing no major red flags so she stepped out of the vehicle with the others, grabbing her bag and slinging it over her back. Cautiously optimistic was the best way to describe how Haley was feeling right now as she stretched and yawned, cracking her knuckles and clicking her neck after that relatively long drive.
She looked to Rodney as he spoke up about "supervision" and the like. She seemed slightly miffed that everyone was treating her like a little kid. She -did- survive out here as long as anyone else after all. Not to mention it was Rodney bringing up things like wanting to "watch over her". The guy hadn't exactly made as good a first impression as Pepper did what with seemingly being just a little crazy. Nonetheless, his intentions didn't seem to be malevolent, no one here so far seemed to have that sort of thing in mind but what the seemingly slightly unhinged man was saying did make a certain amount of sense. She -didn't- know anyone here, everything was still a potential threat. "I'm not just a little kid Rodney. And yeah, was totally weird."
Besides, her old group members, they were still out there. Somewhere. Maybe they would come look here? That would be a logical thing to do, right? And heck, if these guys have scout and guard patrols, maybe they'll find them! If this place was what it seemed, it would be a certain win win for her. Cautious optimism, plenty of caution, but, certainly a good amount of optimism.

Dr. Pepper stopped in his tracks as he turned to look at Rodney as he asked the first question. As Alexander was about to answer it after a brief moment of thinking, Rodeny began to talk to Haley about him watching over her and teaching her a few things that he knew. Frowning a bit as he began to think that Rodney didn't trust him or the group he was part of. Raising his one hand in the air, He was about to say something again, until, Haley put in her own two sense. Looking at both of them as he placed his hands on his hips with that same old friendly smile as he shook his head at how they seemed to be butting heads, -so to speak-. Bringing his hand to his mouth, he pulled out his cigar and would say to them Both.
"Rodney, if I had ill intention towards you, or wanted to take your things...I could have killed you back there or even left you to be walker chow. But I didn't. Much like Haley here, I let you into my SUV without taking your weapons and brought you both here. So you have nothing to fear from me or anyone on this property. We look out for our own and do what we can to make life alittle easier on everyone behind these fences. Now, I know Haley is a capable young lady who has survived unimaginable horrors so far in her life. You all are allowed to roam around the castle or the three mansions on the property. I teach students together in a mixed range of ages from 8-18. While in my class, you learn history, science, Biology, chemistry, math, English, and so on. I bring in a couple of guests to teach how to dispatch one of the dead, how to clean firearms and even sharpen knives without cutting yourself. So who will supervise her you asked? Everyone will. Much like a family, we never leave one of our own behind."
Turning his body slightly, but keeping his face turned towards them, he gestured his hand upwards towards the front of the Castle. "In the morning, you will meet Sarah, Masumi, and Tamara. They are the leaders here. They will let you know when Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served. They will also let you know Rodney of what you will be doing around these parts after you introduce yourself to them. So, shall we get you both checked out in medical then? They will be gentle and won't hurt you. I promise. If you want, you can carry my shotgun just in case." Pulling his shotgun off of his shoulders, he held it out to either of them.

In the wake of Preacher's callout about Tamara and Mercy going missing, all of San Simeon had gotten into a frenzy of activity as people manned the front gate, climbed up into the Main Castle's watchtowers, prepped the numerous Toyota Tundra guntrucks for movement outside the stronghold....and a partridge in a pear tree, Stephanie whistled as her and the other members of Tamara's Personal Security Team stood at the head of one of the trails leading down and watched as everyone scrambled about.
Suddenly, one of them shouted, ""Got a flare off in the distance!" followed several minutes later by "Got a big-ass Lincoln coming up the access road!" Glaring over at the commenter, Stephanie said, "Gee, thanks Bam for that witty bit of repartee'," giving him a "You're number one!" comment as her and the others waited for the Lincoln to return, wondering who they'd brought in this time around.....
....minutes later..... Watching as everyone climbed out of the Lincoln, Stephanie whistled over to the eldest of them, San Simeon's resident scholar if she wasn't mistaken and said to him, "Dr. Pepper, we got a problem," and explained everything that'd had happened while he had been out, starting with the arrival of one of Stephanie's old comrades from Back East to the attack by bandits which had separated some of them in the group to Tamara and Mercy's disappearance/abduction to the rescue parties heading out to find them....."...and that's pretty much what happened, sir," Stephanie said; changing the subject, she asked, smiling at raising a friendly hand towards the two others who'd exited the Lincoln along with Dr. Pepper and saying, "Who are the newcomers?"

Rodney didn't give Haley the chance to consider taking the weapon, almost immediately snatching it from Pepper when he finished speaking. He didn't say anything at all in response to the man's words, facial expressions said enough so that Alex would know comfort around Rodney. He somewhat trusted the man and yet couldn't so easily. Just because he was brought here safely didn't make him a safe man, if that was the only argument for their protection then it wouldn't stand too well. What if they were cannibals or something? Rodney knew he was most likely taking the whole thing out of proportion.. but was he really?
The shotgun sat on his shoulder as he looked to Haley. She was adamant about her independence and he had no intentions of affecting that. If she really did have such gull it only meant he would shadow her instead.. at least got the moment. Another woman approached and relayed some sort of message to Pepper , he couldn't hear the entire conversation but picked out bits and pieces. Apparently something bad was happening.. how surprising.
Standing near Haley, Rodney nonchalantly spoke over to the group as the lady requested introductions,"Something going on we need to know about?" Tilting his head to the side with a raised brow, he awaited a answer.

Haley gave a slight sigh and shook her head as Rodney took the cool shotgun. To be fair, the weapon was probably a little too big for the girl in the first place, nonetheless, it was a shotgun. Instead, Haley simply reloaded her PPK to make sure she had a full magazine. Judging by the speed, smoothness, and general safe and proper technique this was certainly not the first time she had done that and soon had the weapon refilled with six in the mag and one ready in the chamber. She gave the weapon a quick visual glanceover, double checking to make sure the safety was on and the magazine was properly inserted before she put away it back in her holster, seemingly satisfied.
She looked over as Stephanie walked up. The woman seemed to know Pepper, and was rightfully curious as to just who the heck had been brought into their stronghold. The kid remained quiet for the time being, just listening as Stephanie recounted some sort of incident. Seemed pretty serious what with talks of bandits and rescue teams. Could these be the same bandits that attacked her old group? Eventually she finished recounting her report of the situation. This seemed to be a potential clue. Maybe. After all, the small group she was with before were scattered by a group of bandits, if these were the same guys it could represent a lead into finding her friends, no matter how thin a trail.
With this, she couldn't exactly hold that back as Stephanie waved and spoke to Pepper, although, she waited relatively politely for her to finish talking. "The group I was with were attacked by bandits. Most of us ran, I was looking for my friends when Pepper found me. Could be the same bastards that did this."
Post by Stephanie Harrington on Mar 30, 2017 17:32:19 GMT -5
"Yeah, we ran into a group of attackers out past the airfield down that way," Stephanie said, pointing back down in the general direction that she was referring to, "unfortunately, in the confusion of separating ourselves from themselves, they abducted two of our people," not saying specifically who it was that had been abducted. "We got search parties out beating the bushes for 'em now as we speak," she added, pausing when she heard the young girl's comment about having been a part of another group that'd been attacked a while back.
"Oh yeah?" Stephanie said, pulling out a map of San Simeon and the surrounding area and unfolding it so that both the newcomers and Dr. Pepper could see. "Whereabouts, miss, did they hit your group and can you point it out on the map here?" she asked.
Post by Haley Cameron on Mar 31, 2017 9:47:26 GMT -5
(Figured just having a conversation in this relatively low risk environment shouldn't interrupt anything too badly)
The little one looked over the map. "Uhm... hang on." Haley started looking for landmarks, getting out her compass to figure out where north was as a reference point and tracing the road they were just on with her finger trying to reconstruct from memory where she ran off to in the first place on that night. "Okay... so we went down this way." She managed to track the road down to the piece of farmland that Pepper and her had first encountered eachother in. You could almost hear the little cogs turning in the girl's head as she tried to figure all this out and retrace her steps.
After a little while, she had traced the route back to the barn. "Okay, this is where I met Pepper and uhm, I think it was this way I was headed?" She checked it over, again, looking for landmarks until she eventually found and was able to reconstruct a rough route from memory. It was a good couple hours north from San Simeon by car in a large area of farmland. "Here." She tapped the area on the map with her finger. "Right here. It's uhm, yeah... Probably not them I guess, that's pretty far away."

Stephanie came over to him and gave him an update as to what was going on. Sighing to himself, he just looked down at the ground and shook his head. Alexander stood there for a moment and then just walked towards the steps of the castle and sat down on the third step. Turning his head a bit, his eyes were looking towards where the air strip was at. The elder man was hoping that everyone was alright. At the time, Steph was talking to Haley and the two were talking about her last group and where they were. Taking his cigar off his lips, he tossed it. His right hand went to his revolver and he popped open the cylinder. Unloading it, he tossed to the side the spent 410 shotgun shell and the .45 caliber handgun round, he reached into his Dress jacket and pulled out another 410 shell and a .45 bullet. Loading all the rounds, he would wait til everyone was done talking. Slapping the cylinder back into his Taurus Circuit judge revolver and holstered it.
Rubbing his face with his hands, he was getting tired since he was elderly. "So Steph...who all went out to go and find them? Is there any other word as to what is going on?" His chocolate brown eyes stayed on the younger lady. Yawning a bit, he pushed down onto his knees and stood up. His body ached and wanted him to relax, but if he was needed to go and help, he would do it without an argument or a fuss. Alexander would show that he is capable of being an Army of one...ish. -Maybe not, he might fall apart like an old Voltswager beetle or a Ford Pinto.- But it's the heart in Lion that matters still. Walking over to Steph, he would look at Rodney and laugh a bit and shook his head. "Rodney...you didn't keep track in how many shots I fired off in that shotgun, did you? That Spas 12 gauge is empty. So, I'll be taking that gun back since it is my personal weapon."
Post by Rodney Farris Young on Mar 31, 2017 18:10:27 GMT -5
"So, I definitely trust you now, old man." Rodney said with a light chuckle before checking to clarify if the mans words were true. There wasn't a single shell, was he taking Young as some sort of joke to be made? He tossed the gun back to Pepper before pulling out a nine from his pants waistline. He was still at a lost of the current situation, but with Stephanie speaking to Haley he began to gather the problem. Like most settlements, the dangers lay with humanity rather than undead monsters.
"What are you about to do with this and that revolver anyways?" He said to Pepper mockingly, laughing a little more at the old man. He was obviously intent on engagement, but was he really serious? Maybe he was the guy who organized groups for rescue?

Watching as Haley unfolded a map and began telling everyone where they'd been, where they'd picked up Haley, the route - everything imaginable but the kitchen sink, it seemed to Stephanie - it soon became apparent to her than whoever'd attacked Haley's former group were not the ones who abducted Tamara and Mercy. "You're a smart kid," Stephanie said, smiling at the young girl. "When I was growing up back in Bawlmer, they said I was a smart kid, too; they call that a paradox."
Before she could continue, Dr. Pepper - that's what Stephanie called him, at first sort of mockingly but now with honest respect - asked whether anything was being done at the moment to rescue Tamara and Mercy. "At the moment?" she said. "Well, Henry and his ranchers charged out on horseback after them; Thomas Kane and one of his flyers took off by airplane after them.....we saw Tracker head out earlier, before all this happen, so my guess is he went out there as well.
"Other than that, everyone else is staying tight here in case something else happens," pausing as looked around to see where everyone was. "In the meantime, Dr. Pepper, might I suggest we get our new guests," pointing towards Haley and the other person whose name she didn't know, "through Medical while we have an opportunity to do so."
Post by Haley Cameron on Apr 1, 2017 18:06:45 GMT -5
"Thought I was onto something there. Guess not." She gave a sigh, which was quickly followed by a pretty large yawn. The adrenaline from the most recent encounter with the undead on the way over here was starting to wear off, and the tiredness of being on the go for god knows how long now was rolling back in. Haley could no longer really hide it by this point, it was fairly obvious that the kid was exhausted, nonetheless, she was doing her best to stay alert and keep track of the conversation despite not knowing what Stephanie meant by "paradox". Haley made a mental note to ask her that later, or at least look it up somehow if there was a dictionary somewhere. Now didn't really seem like the sort of time to be asking about the definitions of words, especially with conversation topics as serious as bandits and kidnapped group members flying around.
Despite the grey fog of tiredness rolling in, Pepper doing that whole empty gun trick on Rodney still managed to get a chuckle from the girl. To be fair, she hadn't exactly been keeping track of how many rounds were fired through that thing, nor did she even know how many rounds that particular weapon could take to begin with. Nonetheless, seeing someone else get played like that? Especially after they were oh so enthusiastic to take the weapon in the first place? That was pretty damn comical.
Post by Alexander Pepper on Apr 2, 2017 10:05:05 GMT -5
Hearing the chuckles around him caused Alexander to chuckle a bit as well as Rodney checked over the shotgun, encase if Alexander had been lying to him and saw it was indeed empty. Young had tossed the shotgun back over to him. Catching it, Alexander would say to him. "I didn't tell you it was empty or not. I said if you wanted to carry it you could. It was to make you feel safe since I willing gave you one of my fire arms." Taking the key's out of his pocket, he shuffled through them until he had the buttons for it in his hand that was made of plastic that could set and unset the alarm. Pushing one of the buttons, the headlights and the taillights blinked as the hatch in the back of it began to rise up. Walking to the back, the hatch was fully up now as he pulled one of the bags over to him. Setting the Gauge down in the back of the Lincoln Navigator's trunk area, Alexander began to go through his bags looking for something. His old hand rested on a box and it was what he was looking for, he hoped. Pulling it out and looking at in the light, he saw it was the wrong shotgun shell box he was looking for. Pushing it off to the side, he began to rummage through it again until he found another box.
Pulling that one out, he looked at it and saw it was what he was looking for. 12 gauge, 00 Buckshot. Opening the box up, he had heard Rodney's question as to what Alexander was planning on doing as he was sliding in the shells into the lower tube of the shotgun. When all 7 were inside the tube, he slid one into the chamber and hit the release button as the receiver slid forward and slammed shut. Speaking up, Alexander would say to him. "Me...I'm going to escort you two to medical. After that, I'll come back out here and wait for if I'm needed to help them out or be ready in case a fight breaks out...and Ms. Harrington, the Definition of Paradox actually has a few meanings to it. 1: a tenet contrary to received opinion. 2 : a statement that is seemingly contradictory or opposed to common sense and yet is perhaps true. a : a self-contradictory statement that at first seems true b : an argument that apparently derives self-contradictory conclusions by valid deduction from acceptable premises 3 :one (as a person, situation, or action) having seemingly contradictory qualities or phases." Looking over at Steph, he would wave the guests to the front door with the smile on his face. As he followed them, he would say to her as they were about to step inside. "The Word your looking for is tantamount which means Equivalent in seriousness to; virtually the same as."
Stepping through the door with his shotgun over his shoulder and neck, the gauge resting on his back as he led them through the nicely decorated San Simeon Castle. After a short walk, all three of them stepped into the section of the building that was converted into the Medical wing. "Hey guys, got two that need to be checked over and treated for their injuries." Turning to face them both, he nodded his head and made his leave to head back outside where he would sit down on the steps, waiting to hear word.

Hearing Alexander explain the definition of paradox, Stephanie smiled and chuckling, lightly shaking her head as she stood there with him and Haley and the other guy whose name she still didn't know. "I believe definition number two would fit there, Dr. Pepper," she said to him. "I grew up in a working-class South Baltimore neighborhood, did pretty well in school...and ended up making a living ripping off and robbing drug dealers for over a decade. They told me I could be anything...and I proved them right; I'm still alive and kicking, that's got to count."
After a few moments, she added, "I'll leave you guys to get checked out; I'm going to head back inside and check on everyone, keep tabs on everything going on...if you'll excuse me, everyone," pausing to nod at the three of them before she turned and headed over to the Main Castle to both check on Sarah and to keep an eye on everything for the time being....
