Continuing from this post, Robert led the way through the small hallway to one of 3 bedrooms, and opened the door with his free hand with his other holding his bottle of beer. Upon turning the knob, he tugged the door whilst stepping aside and looked at Laura. Inside of the room, there were a whole assortment of art products, from a canvas set up on an easel, to painting and sketching supplies boxes, several paintings and drawings hanging up on the wall, and even a projector on wheels stuffed away in a far corner.

Taking another sip of water, Laura followed Robert down a hallway to what looked like a bedroom-turned-artists' studio; it seemed to have everything: painters' easels, several canvases, painting and sketching supplies, even a projector of some sort which could be moved from one place to another. "Well, what do you think of room number 1?" Robert asked as she looked around, sorta' awe-struck at the sight.
For a few moments, Laura stammered, her mind and voice seemingly disconnected for a few moments; as she looked around, she pointed towards the canvases and asked, "What's behind the canvases?" interested in seeing them and - for a moment - imagining herself on those canvases.

"Good question; let's find out, shall we?", Robert asked with a grin, taking another drink from his beer bottle before he got up and moved some of the canvas out of the way, revealing various sketches and paintings of outdoor art with occasional moodiness to balance it out in the form of expertly-represented zombies in the artwork, his grey eyes shifting upwards towards Laura as he revealed his prowess in art to her, wondering what she thought?

Looking at all the various canvasses and other artworks, it soon became apparent to Laura that, whatever Robert had done in his past, he was definitely a good artist...perhaps, even? she mused rather absent-mindedly, pausing to look at them once more with her practiced cop's eye. "These are amazing," Laura said quietly, adding, "If things were different in this world, I could definitely see you doing well as an artist..."

"Yeah, if only. Sure beats cleaning brains and blood off of clothes, that's for sure. One kind of painting I've never done was a live model; never had the chance to. No woman would ever trust coming to some man's house to model, y'know?", Robert asked as he took another swig of his bottle and held it to Laura as if offering her to drink some as well, if she liked, even if it was after him...he may have been careless in revealing his dark knowledge, but he figured such a thing being out there may help him come off as less of a suspicious guy with his honesty.
