The King and his soldiers clashed with the dead and spent the next subsequent time killing them all. The battlefield was soaked in blood and The men were all catching their breath and making sure they were all dead. Once they area was safe of the dead the surrounded the two men who had been fighting and obviously led the dead to the walls. his eyes fell on one whom spoke and introduced himself. He claimed to be a knight in the past and He turned to look at otto when she spoke about him saving her. "Well, i'm in great thanks to you for saving my number one general Lord Black. You must come and feast with us. Tis a great day for my wedding."
His words firm but friendly and his attention turned when another voice rang in his ears. The man didn't introduce himself but he was right. There was no need because it was his brother whom he hadn't seen in years. When Otto snapped at him and aimed her weapon Cedric pushed it down. "Lower your Weapons." He spoke loud and firmly looking around to his men who quickly did so. "This is my brother and part of the royal family. Honor him."
And with that, the soldiers all lowered their heads. "Let us all return into the walls. Jon Fetch some townsfolk and get all these bodies to the burn pit. Make haste for the wedding starts soon." He said as he turned his horse and headed back into the village.
Only to find his cousin appearing out of the woods. Seems today was a doubly joyous day.
-two hours later in the great hall--
The ceremony was finally able to begin. Cedric waited at the alter for his queen to be. His eyes found her as she entered the room and she was a sight for him. He was happy in his choice of his queen. Beautiful and respectable. Yet mild mannered as to not overturn his rule. It was perfect for him and not to mention he had been smitten by her since she arrived.
The priest came forth and began to recite vows in which Cedric happily spoke his part. "I do take this woman." He took her small hands and slid a silver ring onto her finger. Not too long after she did the same they were pronounced Married. He stepped close enough to place a gentle kiss on her lips before stepping back.
--short time later--
The servants brought food out to the tables in the great hall. Lords and Lady's gathered and socialized. People offered gifts to the king and queen. Everyone sat to eat. All the newcomers at the kings table.
