Two months doesn't sound like a large amount of time, but in the world that everyone lived in today, it seemed like an eternity. Snow had come to the farm, making the building process slow, but that gave the new family time to settle in and get to know one another rather well.
Annie, Mirek and Dean had made several runs to the nearby towns. It was better to leave Sisa on the farm with Zack to help make sure the place was secure. Sisa was showing a baby bump now, and that had given hope to the survivors living with her on the farm, but it also gave a great deal of concern.
Mirek and Dean worked hard together to create a safety zone around the farm. It was not an easy task with the cold and the snow, but it was surprising the effort the men made to protect those they lived with.
Annie had shared all the hidden parts of the farm with them. The stock piles of food and supplies her grandfather had hoarded. It was beginning to be a running joke of how paranoid the old man had been, but without his forethought and paranoia, the group at the farm would not have survived long at all.
The past two months had been rough for the group, but they fought through it all. Thanks to Annie's grandfather, Mirek could stand where he was alive and well. He had been working on the defensive wall around the area with Dean, they had to secure the farm and make it a safe place. They had started it off, but still had some way to go.
Mirek was carrying part of the wall he had made from wood thanks to the nearby trees. Mirek had mustered up a sweat on his forehead from all the hard work and heavy lifting, despite the fact it was still quite cold. He arrived at the wall and pushed the wooden barrier into the ground. He had his hammer and a few nails from the house ready with him to assure the wall stayed together, they may even have to put supports behind the wall to make sure it can stay up right. He took the hammer and nails the began attaching the barriers together.
Annie walked out on the porch in a heavy coat and a scarf wrapped around her head and neck. She moved closer to Mirek, 'Hey...looking good." She smiled at him and held out one of the steaming cups that were in her hands, 'Where's Dean?" She looked around, "I brought you both out some warm broth to keep you warm and for some energy." She felt bad, they had been working so hard, and there was not alot she could do, "You got those ready to be nailed, I can do that." She seemed excited to be able to help. Annie had wanted this to be a safe refuge for people and with everyone's help it was really starting to.

Dean had been on the farm for two months now. It took the others a while to trust him, but now they were one cozy group. Dean was happy he found all of them. But they couldn’t survive by being happy alone, so everyone had to help to make the farm a better place. The group decided that Mirek and Dean could work on a wall, since Mirek was a builder and Dean knew a lot about security. Dean felt happy they trusted him enough to let him handle the security measures.
When they started to whole project it was still nice weather outside, but now snow filled the farm and their working place and it was damn cold outside. Dean walked back outside with a towel and some more plans, Mirek and him drew some sketches to make sure they didn’t miss a spot. As he walked closer he saw Annie and Mirek talk, he heard his name and how Annie asked where he was.
“Right here, I went to get a towel Mirek and I were sweating and wouldn’t want him to get sick, I’m a though one and really don’t care about myself, but I don’t like other people getting sick” Dean said with a smile as he handed the towel to Mirek. “But no worries I took care of my sweat inside the house, I may be though, but I don’t feel like getting sick either cause then I wouldn’t be able to help Mirek.” He added with the same sime. Then he heard how Annie brought something to get them warmed up. “Thanks you’re awesome.” Dean said as he took the broth.
Then he heard how she asked if she could nail some things down. “Well it’s ok by me if you want to, but Mirek is the big boss if it comes to building, so it his decision.” Dean joked.
He heard Annie come over to where Mirek was working, asking where Dean was. Mirek shrugged his shoulders and looked around, seeing him head closer. He gave his own introduction, he was bringing towels for them, there wasn't much sweat on Mirek, but it was still annoying. He smiled at Annie as she said she had brought some broth for the two. He grabbed the towel from Dean then the broth from Annie. "Thanks, Annie, always looking out for people" he said with a smile towards her. She then asked if she could take care of the nails in the barrier. "Sure, go ahead". He used the towel to wipe his forehead then slurped down the broth.
He looked over at Annie. "Are we okay for food and drink? Any other supplies?".

Two months had passed on the farm. Unfortunately for the women stareing off out the window. Her deep brown eyes saw a white sheet covering the ground covering the grass she was missing. But like everything else she misssed things changed. The whole world changed in what seemed to be a day. Sisa shook her head trying to keep her mind from obsessing over the things she missed. The young women tried to think of all of the positive things such as the group she was residing in. With that thought in mind the raven haired beauty got off the chair looking around for them. "Guys?" Butting her lip when their was no reply. Going over to a closet she put on some boots and gloves along with her Chullo. A little reminder of her parents every time her eyes would see the bright knitted colors.
Opening the door knob carefully before being greeted with the cold of winter. Her eyes narrowed at the snow a little bit in dislike. Stepping off the porch careful not to slip on ice on the ground like she had before. Gripping the railing or whatever it was called until her boots touched the earth once more. Looking around the area her eyes focused on three familiar figures near the wall in progress. Sisa was very grateful for all there efforts on their safe haven or one in progress. A smile slipped over her tan face as she made her way towards them. Enjoying her ability to walk normal for now until the dreaded waddle came into play. Pulling her hoodie over head making her presence known. "How is the scarf treating you Annie" Touching the brightly knitted scarf on Annie's neck. Exhamining her work before letting go of it. "How is the wall doing muscle men? It looks great!" She said smiling. Teasingly making her words sounds flirtatious even though it was completely joking.
Annie nodded, "You sure, thanks" She grinned feeling useful. She was used to being involved, but with this she wasn't as hands on. She picked up the hammer, but turned back to Mirek, "For now...we are alright, I will check traps later and see if we caught anything." She glanced at the door as she caught movement. "Sisa is coming, she needs to be inside." She frowned, and then smiled, "I love the scarf, but you should be inside. Last thing we all need is for you to get sick, missy." She grinned at her, to elt ehr know she was teasing, but she had said what she had been thinking.
She held the hammer, and then looked at Mirek and Dean, "They are gonna let me help, this might not be good." She chuckled and waited for some instruction.
It had been to long in the cold. Why did it have to be cold. Vince's car had broken down a while back. He'd been backpacking since then. His hand gripped his bat as he kept walking through the trees. His coat snagged tearing a hole, revealing the Orange prison jumpsuit underneath. He hated this thing, but it was warm. His feet pushed through the snow as he came into a clearing.
Vince stopped to catch his breath, leaning on a tree to gain it back, his finger reached into the side pouch of his bag. He produced a bottle, nearly empty. Placing the cold steal to his paled lips he took a sip. It was refreshing but he needed to make it last. It had been to long travelling he was tired. He debated setting up camp here, but decided he could at least find shelter.
As he went through more trees he came upon a road. Maybe It could lead to s farm, or a town. Someplace to get warm. We walked along it, his feet kicking up loose gravel. "Bloody hell, had enough of this god awful snow."
That was when he saw it, a wall or barricaded fence up ahead. He crept forward, getting low and moving along trees. A wall meant people, good or bad. He came up along the drive.
"Hello," he called, as he raised his hands. "Any one there." He thought he saw mivemnet as he came into the drive. "Anyone?"

Dean listened to Mirek as he talked to Annie. Then he saw Sisa coming to join them, he was worried though, she was pregnant and shouldn’t be outside. Dean heard how Annie answered the question about the supplies. “Well I can help check the traps later on if you want?” he asked with a smile.
It was then that Sisa finally reached them, she talked to Annie about a scarf and then asked how the wall was doing. Dean showed the muscles on his arm as a joke, they weren’t as big as a bodybuilder or something, but he was slightly muscled.
“Wall is doing good, we make a good team, right Mirek?” Dean said as he stopped joking and lowered the sleeve of his jacket again.
Then Dean laughed as Annie joked about that it might not be the best idea to let her help.
“Well Sisa, if you see a dust cloud and hear a lot of noise, well then it failed.” Dean joked back. “No for real relax Annie you’ll do great, Mirek will give you the right instructions.” He added with a smile.
Just then Dean felt fear rushing through him as he heard a voice. His reaction was to grab his gun and point it in the direction of the noise. “Annie get Sisa out of here.” He whispered as he kept his gun raised. “Who’s there?” he yelled.
Annie froze as she heard a male voice calling. She had almost forgot there could be other survivors. She glanced at Dean, then Mirek,"alright, but you both be careful, we haven't seen anyone else in a while." She grabbed Sisa's hand,"come on,we can cover them from the house." She practically drug Sisa with her, wanting to keep the pregnant woman safe.
Two months had gone by since Zack had arrived at the farm. The hallucinations gone Zack was a functioning adult again. Dragging a fallen branch behind him Zack walked to the farm. Stepping in the same foot holes he made earlier Zack easily found his way home. It felt right calling this place home. Maybe it was the people or the fact he was going to be a dad.
He could tell Sisa was outside. A soft smile appeared on his face as he thought about the baby momma. Dropping the branch Zack made his way towards The group. Seeing the new person and the two girls backing up Zack unslung his bow and readied an arrow. He wasn't trusting of new people since his run in with the cult

A frown flowed onto her face at Annie sentence. She knew the redhead meant well and she appreciated the care but sometimes it didn't make sense to her. Its not like she had the weakest immune system in the world now that she was with child. A few giggles escaped her lips before she had patted Annie on her shoulder. "Trust me. I'm not out here for the winter wonder land. I'm native to the south America not this northern cold barren wasteland." Making a rather exaggerated expression on her tan face about the snow on the ground that she had seen many times as a teen. More giggles escaped her lips at tease flex of his muscles. Reminding her of the question in her head on the location of her baby daddy. "Where is the third body builder?" She asked the others wondering where her boyfriend went off to.
That thought didn't get to last long before the grasp of another hand on distracted her. Blinking her deep brown eyes in confusion on what she had missed her moment of zoning out. It must of been something important because Annie was practically tugging her along behind her. "Wha? Calm down I can walk you don't have to drag." She said making her steps slower then Annie as she gazed back taking notice of a new person and then out of the corner of her eye she saw Zack. With his bow ready looking like something robin hood. Sisa tried to distract her mind from worrying about Mirek or Dean and especially Zack. Looking at Annie as she followed her. Speaking the first question that came to mind. "You want to try to make lipstick out of crayons later?...um...I was thinking about cutting my hair. Maybe a bit shorter then my waist length now you know?" Making her worry obvious and her want to change her thoughts clear.

Vince heard some one call to him an kept his hands raised in air. "I'm unarmed. Dot shoot." He didn't know where this person was so he spun slowly in a circle trying to spot them. "See I'll remove my pack. There's weapons in there, just don't shoot me."
He spun until he saw a man draw a bow. "Easy. I'm friendly," he said backing up away from the archer. "Please don't shoot me," he squeaked. "I don't want to die today. I'll leave. If that's what you want I'm gone. Just don't shoot." He looked at the man. "I just saw the wall. It looked safe."
Vince was scared right now. Fear was pumping through his veins as he breathes heavily. Sweat ran from his brow down his face. The jumpsuit wa starting to get hot. Why do I even wear this, he thought, I seem like a bloody prisoner.

Dean nodded at Annie. “We will, and you both be safe as well.” He said as he watched them leave. Then his attention went back to the new guy, Dean kept his gun raised. Shortly after Dean saw Zack closing in on the now visible new guy. He hoped Zack would be okay, cause he was closer the the new person. “Be careful!” Dean yelled as he looked at Zack, he deiced not to yell out his name, it would be best to keep those secret for now, not that they could do much with just a name, but better safe than sorry.
It was then the new guy spoke. He told them he was unarmed and circled around, it was then that Dean noticed he was wearing something orange, was it a prison suit, or just an orange hoody or something. Then the newcomer once again said he didn’t mean anyone harm and that he would leave if that is what they wanted, he also begged a couple times to not shoot him. Dean now saw the guy was pretty scared.
“He looks scared, but notice the orange thing under his jacket, is he from prison?” Dean whispered so only Mirek could hear.
(just noticed Mirek still has to post, so sorry for posting again too soon ^^)
Something had alerted the others. It was a voice coming from somewhere near the farm. Mirek pulled out his .44 Magnum and readied himself if there was trouble. Annie took Sisa away from the area and told the two men to be safe, Mirek gave a departing smile to the two women. "Don't worry, we'll be safe".
He aimed his gun at the man, who was wearing a jumpsuit. He immediately said he was friendly and unarmed, he looked it. The man spoke about leaving if they wanted him to. Mirek remember when him and others joined the group, they didn't just get turned away. "No, don't leave, just keep your hands in the air and tell us your name" he said to the man in the jumpsuit. Dean also pointed out the jumpsuit, suggesting he could be a prisoner. "Possibly, or he could have looted it". The man looked scared as hell, Mirek could tell he had been through a lot, Mirek wanted to welcome him in.
(it's fine Dean, just took me a while to find the time to post)

Zack kept his bow trained on the man. "Sorry brother. I'm not going to shoot you if you don't give me a reason to." Zack replied casually. He heard Mirek tell the man to tell them his name. Zack had trusted the people at the farm since they gotten him away from the cannibal cult. "I'm Zack." He said to the man.
Vince heard them ask for his name, "uh..I'm...I'm..I'm Vince," he said barely able to get it out. He was scared they all had guns he was defenceless. They said they wouldn't harm him but he couldn't be sure right now. "Listen I'm honestly harmless. I'll answer any questions. You can search me and my bag." He looked down his hands still raised, "can you lower the guns please."
Annie stared at Sisa. What was she talking about? Making lipstick? She stared at her, obviously confused. She finally got them inside and she closed the door, 'The guys are gonna be fine, Sisa, relax' Annie moved over and got her rifle and then moved one curtain in the window, pulling it up to give her a shot, if need be. She got a bead on the black man, and waited, watching. "Sisa...open that other window and cover them." She grinned over at her , for split second, "We can always give the boys makeovers, if you have your heart set on it." After saying that, she resumed her action, covering the men she had grown close to over the last two months.
She watched as it seemed that Mirek and Dean started questioning the male, 'Good, you guys are doing fine." She murmured softly mostly to herself. What was with the orange?

Relax? How the hell was she supposed to relax when three men close to her were out there where they could get shot. Especially when one of them was the father of her child. Giving the women a very unrelaxed glare before she got herself a gun already opening the window before Annie got the words out her lips. Looking through the scope that she kept the little pin steadied on the dark man out there in the cold. Why the hell is he wearing a jumpsuit? O MY GOD HE IS A FUCKING PRISONER WANTING TO KILL THEM WITH HIS PRISON BUDDIES IN THE WOODS. Is all that her mind screamed in confusion and a heighten fear of not knowing. Ever sense the cult incident the raven haired beauty was more careful on how she looked at meeting others. Now that she saw what harm they could instead of the joyful unity of Humens together that she had hoped foolishly for what seems a enter its ago. Glancing over at Annie for a brief moment when the redhead tried to be funny. "Keep your gun on him Annie" is all she mumbled in her nervouse tone as she focused her attention back on the man. Then she saw that step he made and we all the scared thoughts and worried flowing through her mind. Pin a instant the rifle went off fireing one bullet.
Vince saw the men eyeing his jumpsuit and stepped towards them. "Listen, listen. I know this looks bad but it's not mine. Not just is it two sizes two big but I'm also not from here definitely never been to a Nevada county jail." His arm were out stretched towards the men. "I'm really harmless. I just want to be safe."
Hus shoulder fling back and screamed. It was as if his flesh was tearing. It burned and flung him to the ground. "My shoulder. Agh. I said I was harmless." He wreathed in pain as blood formed around the Orange jumpsuit, soaking through towards his jacket. He groaned as he clutched his arm closer. He was in pain, and was wondering what the hell happened.
