Rhode let out a small barely-audible whistle as she watched her friend take her shot. She did good for the most part, she got quite a good spread on the balls it was a tough choice where she wanted solid or striped. Regardless, she grinned and bent slightly forward with her own pool stick, arching her free hand's index finger to hold the far half of the stick as she slowly measured her poke and mentally checked her angle; this wasn't going to be a winning shot, either, but she could at least get one in. She poked the white ball just in time for a man to come up to her and Steph, telling her that someone by the name of "Rhett" wanted to see her. She looked back at the pool table to see that one of the stripes, #15, had went in into one of the center holes.
She waved to the man in a gesture that said "in a minute", taking a drag of her own cigarette for a second before shooting again; this time, the ball hit more than 2, none going in the holes, but allowed for easy shots of both stripes and solids. "Your move, hotness. I'll be back.", she said before letting the man lead her towards the boss man named Rhett, who she clearly didn't know, but winked as she pointed at Steph en route, "Hey, don't forget our bet! I got one in, you know what to do."

Watching Rhode take her first shot, Stephanie remembered all the times they'd been together, after taking down this score or that score back in Texas....she smiled at how those times had turned out and was hoping for a similar result after their little game here. Shaking her head as one of the balls - #15, a stripe - went into a center pocket, Stephanie shook her head - well, there goes one shirt, she thought - and was about to take her light-grey sleeveless tee off when someone walked over to them and requested Rhode's presence with the Wasteland's major-domo, Rhett.
"Wonder what that's all about, Rhode," Stephanie said quietly as Rhode headed off, but not before...
"I know," Stephanie replied, slipping off her light-grey sleeveless tee, folding it into a small little ball and setting it down on a nearby chair and winking at Rhode before she headed off to Rhode...meanwhile, Stephanie looked at the pool table, pondering her next move and wondering what Rhett wanted with Rhode...
...the pressure on, the bubble will burst before our eyes. All the while in perfect time (Her) tears are falling on the ground BUT IF YOU DON'T STAND UP YOU DON'T STAND A CHANCE....

Rhode winked at Stephanie before following the lackey to where the guy named Rhett was, wondering what was up that he wanted her...then again, she was a newcomer that didn't talk to him first, so what the hell? Regardless, she stood with a hand on her hip, with her right arm more down at her side, possibly to reach for her gun should she need it, her green eyes on the guy she supposed was Rhett, from how the man led her and then stopped in front of him.
"You wanted to see me?", she asked as she took another drag of her cigarette before resting it lightly between her teeth idly, watching him quietly.
Rhett looked at her for the longest time before he said a word... He leaned forward and put out his cigerette and smiled... He knew this girl was going to be a pain in the ass.... Just like Bj, and Darren, and so many of his employees already, but he also knew that each and every one of them had their place here in the wasteland and they were valuable in their own small ways..... Rhett clasped his hands together in his lap... Giving no look over to Nina. His eyes were on the girl ahead of him and her alone... He looked at her with a simple grin and said...
Rhett: You're looking like a girl with a hint of danger in her eye.... If your looking for good times.... The Wasteland's got them in spades.... You seemed to have made yourself right at home in my little bar here... Those drinks you ordered? Well honey.... I'm expecting you to pay for those, less'n you wanna join my crew... In which case drink til your hearts content... *Rhett pulls keys from his pocket and places them on the table* I'll even give you one of the houses on the street to crash at.... You seem to know the fine Ms. Stephanie there.... She works for me...And i want you to work for me too...i haven't figured out what yet.... But i'm sure i can think of something you seem capable darlin....
Taking a key off the ring bringing the total keys left down to 4 keys (if she takes the key) Rhett held the key out to her.... If she took it... She joined his crew... If not then she could pay her bar tab in any way she could....And leave.... The choice was hers Rhett was being more than fair.... The key dangling on his finger was the key to the house right next to Stephanies and on the other side of the house was Barrett's house..

Rhode looked at Rhett as she heard what he said, and he said what she'd expected; he wanted her for a lackey. Okay, she could dig that, that must mean she really must've earned her keep on something, even though all she did was show some real figurative fangs here and there. With an inhale of her cig, she exhaled a cloud of smoke aside and not into Rhett's face before gently taking the key from him, then speaking back to him, "I'll accept, sure. Nothing else to do here, and if it'll make this shit on the up and up, then by all means. You have your answer and yourself a deal, Mr. Rhett...now adieu, I got a game and a hot babe to play with.", she said with a grin nrgptr turning to walk towards the pool table she left Steph at, and saw she hadn't made a move yet, then again she was waiting for her, wasn't she?
Post by Stephanie Harrington on Jul 24, 2016 3:31:51 GMT -5
Watching the conversation between Rhode and Rhett, Stephanie had two thoughts: (1) what shot should I take next? and (2) Rhode still loves living dangerously, doesn't she? Those two thoughts kept going through her mind, so much so that she didn't notice Rhode coming back over to the pool table.... "C'mon, take yer shot, hotness."
"Straight to business, as always, huh?" Stephanie said, quickly lining up her shot and letting rip...the white balls shot out at a couple of close-sitting solid balls, one of which - #2 - went into the corner pocket right in front of Rhode. Stepping back a question, Stephanie smiled and said, "Well, off with a piece of clothing, hotness," winking at Rhode as she pondered her next shot....
...Beats and bullets pass me None on target They want the R hit But watch the God get
Quicker, the tongue is the trigger 'Cause I'm real fast Let off some rhythm at 'em Let 'em feel the blast
Penetrate at a crazy rate This ain't thirty-eight Hit 'em at point blank range And watch 'em radiate
Runnin' out of ammunition I'm done wit' 'em You ask me how I did 'em I let the rhythm hit 'em....

Rhode watched the #2 ball go into the hole, and chuckled before she undid her belt and rolled it up and set it on the side of the pool table, sticking her tongue out before standing with one of her hands on her hip, a fiery flame of competition in Rhode's green eyes towards Stephanie as complemented by the sly smirk on her face.
"Nice shot there, babe. Well, you get another one. You get another one in, the pants come off~", she said this with a hint of a sultry voice as if to help spur her close friend on in making the best shot possible for her; if not, then it would be her turn next, and she could see that she'd be able to get at least 2 balls in on her type, but nonetheless watched with bated breath to see how it goes.

Smiling as Rhode slipped off her belt and set it aside, Stephanie thought about her next shot...there were a couple of possibilities and as she took a sip of her Dos Equis, she also noticed that there were some shots that would cost her some clothing if she missed.
Leaning down, she took her time, letting the cool touch of the pool cue between her fingers be the only thing she was feeling....calming her breathing down, Stephanie drew back and took her shot, watching the white ball crash into one of the solids - #5 - sending it towards the other corner....Stephanie watched, confident that the billiard ball would go in, only to watch as the ball hit one side, hit the other...and bounced away, leaving Stephanie a little deflated. Shaking her head, she glanced over at Rhode. "You shot, sweetheart," Stephanie said, wondering how many pieces of clothing she'd have to remove....
Post by Rhode "D.va" Christensen on Jul 24, 2016 4:22:05 GMT -5
Rhode took a quick swig of her Dos Equis as well and set it down nearby before she propped herself up for another shot, slowly adjusting the angle of her aim as she looked ahead of the ball, mentally mapping the path it would take with her shot if it was dead-on. She took her shot into two striped balls, one of which hit a couple solid ones and went into the holes, costing Steph two articles of clothing..on the other hand, this left Steph with two solid balls for one shot, plus one could hit a third one if she aimed true.
Nonetheless, Rhode grinned and licked her lips, "Whoo, balls deep tonight. I still have another shot, but I don't think I'll have such luck now.", she said before taking aim and shooting the ball..she botched the delivery, of course, and it went way off course and didn't hit any balls, except another of Steph's.

I walked into that one, Stephanie mused as she teasingly removed her white sleeveless tee, revealing her taut, lean and topless upper body, but Rhode's seen me before like this...taking a long drag of her beer, she did a little dance for a moment as she set her t-shirt down on top of her light-grey one, then proceeded to remove the belt around her black jeans, setting it down on top of her shirts. Stephanie was really getting into the mood, imagining what her and Rhode might be doing later on that night...but first things first, she mused, leaning down to take her next shot.
"Business before pleasure, baby," Stephanie whispered, drawing back and taking her next shot, dropping two solid balls in the process...and for several seconds, waiting with bated breath to see if a third one knocked towards a center hole would drop. It didn't, but two balls dropped....and that meant two articles of Rhode's clothing were coming off. "Let's see what you got, girlfriend," Stephanie said with a seductive tone to her voice, standing back to watch...

Rhode let out a soft catcall of a whistle as she saw the shot Stephanie did, she managed to snag just two of her pieces of clothing, just like that. She chuckled a bit and winked at Stephanie before reaching down with her arms crossed abreast her front with her fingers each gripping the hem of her white tanktop, before she adjusted and lifted it right off of her body. Her torso was just as tone and had all the right proportions, but her breast size was at least a couple sizes smaller than Stephanie's...not that it mattered. She went there, she went over the event horizon, having her chest for all to see...and she didn't care, in fact she smiled at Steph and walked up to her, and bumped her boobs up against Steph's own with her green eyes on her own, "It's getting in deep now, hon...and I'm having fun. I don't care who wins or loses, as long as it's with you.", she said softly before she undid her jeans and slid them down fully over her sneakers and kicked them aside to join her tanktop and belt, leaving her in just her shoes, socks, and a pair of white and blue striped panties.
Post by Stephanie Harrington on Jul 24, 2016 5:06:19 GMT -5
Whistling with delight as her shot went in, Stephanie grinned as Rhode took off both her tanktop and her jeans, leaving her virtually naked and giving Stephanie one helluva view....especially after Rhode walked off and brushed herself up against Stephanie; if they weren't at the Wasteland's bar, she would've jumped Rhode right then and there... "It's getting in deep now, hon...and I'm having fun. I don't care who wins or loses, as long as it's with you."
"Oh yeah," Stephanie replied, nipping at Rhode's lips for a moment and having to control her emotions; she wanted to see what little pieces of clothing Rhode had on off in the worst way, "and we always have fun, don't we?" she added, pausing to take her next shot, which knocked a solid billiard bill down a corner pocket. "And that's one more piece of clothing, Rhode..." Stephanie said, doing another little dance and wondering if Rhode could come back and strike back at the pool table herself.
Post by Rhode "D.va" Christensen on Jul 24, 2016 5:14:32 GMT -5
Rhode gave Steph a playful jab in the left breast before winking at her again with a light chuckle, taking her sneakers off so only her socks, her arms propped up on the pool table which left her breasts to press down attractively against the wooden rim with her green eyes seductively on Stephanie, brushing her index finger over her lips before speaking, "Oh, is the beastly Stephanie goin' ta finish off lil'ol'me?", Rhode asked Stephanie, knowing it was still her turn because she made the shot for a hole, not seeming to care to see what balls remained or where they lie.

"Oh, is the beastly Stephanie goin' ta finish off lil'ol'me?" Rhode asked after Stephanie dropped another shot, all but letting her intentions for later be known.... "Oh, in the worst way, Rhode," Stephanie replied, stepping back so that she could concentrate on her next shot...not she wasn't thinking about Rhode, though....
Stepping around Rhode, Stephanie let her arm glide along Rhode's upper back, the fingers on her hand dancing over the skin as she went along. "Still keeping in shape, I see," she whispered, leaning down to take the next shot....which she did - and missed, but not just missed. No, it was an epic miss as Stephanie somehow knocked the cue ball into a corner pocket instead of another solid billiard ball. "I.....I don't even know," Stephanie said, shaking her head in disbelief..."That's never happened before," she added. "Your shot..."
Post by Rhode "D.va" Christensen on Jul 24, 2016 5:38:33 GMT -5
"So much for finishing me off. I've been keeping in shape, thanks for noticing...though you've definitely been keeping up on your own body, huh? You've gotta tell me your secrets.", Rhode said, sensually stroking her fingertips along Stephanie's butt and a tad up along her spine before taking her shot...in the most incredulous way possible, not only did the ball end up knocking the rest of the striped balls and Steph's remaining solid ball into the pockets at the same time, it left only the 8-ball to go into a pocket...in one that was not a corner one.
"Eight ball, side..pocket, fuck. My loss.", Rhode said with a shake of her head in disbelief as well before she quickly slipped her socks off and tossed them aside onto her shoes, then slipped her panties down and tossed them with the rest of her clothes as well, showing herself off to Steph and all else who happened to be watching.
"How in da bloody, protestant Hell did that happen?!", said the man from the previous hour in which Rhode burned him with stinging words, only to earn more such words from Rhode who jabbed a finger in his direction, "'Fuck you', that's how! Damnit, I'm the loser. Well, Steph...enjoy your prize?", she asked as her gaze focused on Stephanie now.

"So much for finishing me off. I've been keeping in shape, thanks for noticing...though you've definitely been keeping up on your own body, huh? You've gotta tell me your secrets." Rhode asked, teasing her way around Stephanie as she lined herself up for her next shot. "Well, I'd like to say it was a combination of sex, drugs and rock'n'roll," she began.....only her voice disappeared as she spoke, watching as it seemed like every remaining billiard ball - including the 8-ball - went into every pocket around the pool table.
"Oy, oy, oy," Stephanie said, not in disbelief but in sheer abject luck and happiness as Rhode removed the last few articles of clothing, not caring who saw her...not that Stephanie didn't mind, though before she could say anything....
"Oh yeah, definitely enjoying my prize," Stephanie said, walking over and drawing Rhode up right to her, adding, "I just have one question, Rhode: your place," pausing to kiss her on the lips, "or mine?"
Post by Rhode "D.va" Christensen on Jul 24, 2016 6:09:40 GMT -5
"How about..", Rhode started as she raised the key she had in her pants, the key that Rhett gave her before, and winked at Steph, "..mine? I wanna check the joint out anyhow.", she said with a lick of her lips before dipping down to take her clothes as well as her gun, and helped Steph get hers before running out of the bar with her, towards the houses...
Alexandra walked in silence, broken only by the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. The sand was soft, squishing underneath her boots, sinking her half an inch or so into the ground with each step she took, but she trudged on. She had been traveling alone for quite some time, not having heard another voice in many, many weeks. This allowed some of her deepest, darkest thoughts to come out of the woodworks of her mind: her inability to find her brothers, how they could be in trouble at this very moment and here she was, as emaciated and exhausted as ever, but still alive.
As she continued on, the breeze intensified and above her the sky was becoming increasingly dark and foreboding. Intent on not enduring the brunt of the oncoming storm outside, Alexandra quickened her pace and continued to follow the coastline in search of adequate shelter. It wasn't long before she thought she heard something. Doubtful, she stopped and listened harder, cupping her ears in the direction of the sound. Still, she found it difficult to hear much of anything over the roar of the ocean beside her and the distant snarls of the occaisonal biter stuck, waist deep, in the wet sand. Then, there it was again - a sound so unusual she almost didn't recognize it at first - music. And not only that, but the shouting, hooting, hollering sounds of people. People implied shelter and supplies - both things she desperately needed at that moment, things she would be willing to risk her life for.
Alexandra hitched her backpack up higher on her shoulders and began off in the direction of the music and the people. Although she couldn't see any visible signs of life, she felt like she was quickly nearing her destination. She could sense the presence of people - and a lot of them, too. She had taken out both daggers now, bloodied with grime and guts of the undead, and gripped them until her knuckles turned white. In her mind, questions buzzed around wildly like angry insects: Would these people be violent people? Would they rob her, kill her, or maybe even something worse? Was she making a mistake by going any closer?
Still, she didn't feel like she had much of a choice. Even if her instincts weren't forcing her to head in that direction, with water and food as incentives, her curiosity would have definitely gotten the best of her. She wanted to find out what could make people feel safe enough to attract this much attention to themselves, and she was determined to do exactly that. So, despite the nervousness that bubbled in her stomach, she continued on.
Rhett Diggler, the man who held the keys to the kingdom of paradise sat in his 67' Dodge Charger.... In the seat beside him was Nina..... Nina was a sex doll, life like in every way... Flexiblitiy, weight, down to the last detail. Her skin felt like human skin, her hair, felt like human hair. At a passing glance it could fool anyone, but Rhett was crazy... Rhett believed the doll to be his high school sweetheart Nina Collins.... He had even risked his life to save the doll on multiple occasions, thinking he was risking his life for the love of his life, not a doll. The engine inside the Charger roared impatiently as Rhett sat at the starting line... He looked over to Nina... She was smiling back at him. Spiked to the hood of his blood covered Charger was "Frank" A walker head that he killed back in New Mexico and had spiked to the hood of his car... Rhett talked to both Nina and Frank often.. Nina would answer back but Frank wasn't much of a talker....Rhett smiled... The loud engine screaming in the night air as it waited to burst from the starting gate... There was a wager on the line.... One of Rhett's guy's a dam valuable member, named Graves, came to Rhett with a proposition.... He bet Rhett that his modified car could take Rhett's Charger in a street race.... If He one Rhett would cancel his bar tab and he was free to leave... If Rhett won then his tab doubled.... It was a ballsy move, but Rhett never lost a race.. He was crazy as fuck and not all there, but he never lost a race... Rhett was a prescion driver and he took turns at high speed often drunk with pinpoint accuracy... The man holding the flag stood between the two cars.... This was but a taste of the wasteland..... He raised the flag.... It was all about fun here...... He made sure both driver's were ready...... Rhett's smile grew wider as the flag went down and the cars exploded from the starting line! Barrelling down the road, Rhett took the early lead! He wasn't worried as he yanked the wheel to the left taking the first designated turn on the track that was agreed upon... He grabbed a bottle of whiskey and threw it back spilling it down his shirt as he handled the turn beautifuly with one hand... Graves' car was nipping at Rhett's heels, but Rhett wasn't trying.... He was having fun! He looked over at Nina who was smiling approvingly...... She loved it when her man was behind the wheel... His stuntdriving and maniac sense of danger and excitment always was a rush!
Nina: Quit toyin with him baby! He actually thinks he stands a chance in this race....
Rhett: Alright!
Rhett shifted gears sending the charger speeding off like a rocket! (pretend nina is in the passenger seat and frank is on the hood) Rhett quickly dashed..Grave's hopes of leaving the wasteland.... Rhett barrelled around the next corner, tires squeeling and the rubber sending that burning smell into the night air.... Plums of pale grey smoke followed the wheels of the charger like ghosts as he took another turn... He couldn't even see Graves in his rearview anymore.... He finished the race ending back at The Wasteland way before Graves.... He was met with a sea or rowdy cheers.... There was a designated "Walker lookout crew" For the races and they had gleely massacared any walker dumb enough to shamble over to take a look at the excitment... Rhett pulled his car up in front of the bar.... He got out of the car and was about to have one of his stooges drive it back inside..... He would come get Nina in a second... She always liked it when when he carried her inside.... She found it incredibly romantic and who was he to deny her that! He was about to enter the bar when he noticed a girl (Alexandria) Walking towards the bar, off in the distance...... Seeming to be lost and alone.... Rhett smiled.... The Wasteland welcomed those who were lost and alone... It was leaving the place debt free that was the problem..... Rhett walked around to the passenger side door, opened it and grabbed Nina.... Craddling her like a groom carrying his bride over the threashold of a new home he carried her inside; fully expecting the girl he saw to be paying his bar a visit and he would happily greet her when she got there....
It wasn't long before Alexandra finally arrived at her destination - a bar, which had a visible crowd within, and it's respective auto body shop that was filled with vehicles of all sorts, apparently in need of some type of repair or, perhaps if the owner was particularly mechanically inclined, an upgrade. After all the time she had spent walking, it was almost satisfying to finally have arrived at a place where she might be able to stay for a while.
The second thing Alexandra noticed was the fence - it was tall, towering over her head by many feet, and was topped with barbed wire. It was seemingly sturdy and, apparently, had provided adequate protection in the past. She was sure she had been noticed by now. Plenty of people were outside the walls of the bar drinking and laughing, although no one seemed to have deemed her as out of the ordinary despite that her knuckles were still firmly planted around the handles of her knives, covered in a thin layer of blood and dirt. It was because of this that she slowly approached the wired gate, still slightly ajar as if someone had purposely left it that way.
Danger didn't seem imminent here - at least not in the life or death type of way - so she took a deep breath and returned her weapons to her pockets and pulled open the gate until there was a space big enough for her to squeeze through. A few people focused their gaze on her, albeit briefly, as she hurried past the small crowd with her head down, eager to get into the dimly lit bar where it would be easier for her to remain unnoticed and assess her new situation.
Inside, the bar was as lively as it had appeared from behind the fence. Beers were being served left and right, something she hadn't come across easily in the past. Several of the patrons were already drunk, slurring their words and stumbling over their own feet. It had been quite some time since she had been in a bar, especially one that still served alcohol, and for a brief moment she felt a smile play across her lips but the feeling was so foreign to her that she stopped. Alexandra pushed through the drunken crowd with ease, remembering how, just a few years earlier, she had worked as a bartender and dealt with people like this nearly every night. She sat at the bar with her backpack still on her shoulders, not completely trusting that anyone in here wouldn't rob her for what little stuff she had, and waited for a bartender to head her way.
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
