The door to the room Aspen had been detained in was open and two men walked in. First was Castle, followed by Jace who closed the door and leaned against the wall, folding his arms across his chest. Castle walked over and motioned to one of the empty beds. "Have a seat." He instructed the woman as he sat at the other end of the bed. "Remove your mask please. I have some question for you, and I'd like to be able to see your face while talking to you."
So far, Castle was being nice towards the woman, but then again she wasn't the one they suspected of being a threat. However, that could all change. If this person showed any signs of being a threat, Castle had no qualms about putting them down like a dog and then going on about his day without so much as a second thought. It was the only way to do what it was he did. It wasn't an easy life, doing what was called, and not everyone was cut out for the job, but for Castle, it was all he had ever known. The safety of this crew outweighed the life of one threat.
When Aspen sat and removed her mask, Castle gave a nod. "Good. I'm Castle, this is Jace." He said nodding with his head towards Jace. "Who are you, and why are you hear? Don't worry, I only want to hear in your own words why you came with our away party." He was asking her these question to get a good first read on her. Watching for any signs, eye movement, mouth tweaks, brow flinching, muscle movement of any kind. Everything told a story about who a person was more than any words they might have to say on the matter, but first you had to get them to open up.
'Siren' would be another story all together...
