The smaller of the two blondes seemed to be sleeping still, but at least she was breathing and not complaining. The redhead seemed ok, just a little shaken up Julie could get a more accurate account of her injuries later. What worried her was the woman with the broken arm and leg, That may be difficult to treat. SHIT! SHIT!SHIT! Lane said he had only cleared the first floor, and then he dashed off in the truck to get rid of the damn thing. Now Julie was here with this woman who was being quite loud in a place that wasn't fully secure.
"Shhh shhh shhh shhhhhh..... My name's Julie, I'm going to take care of you, but we don't know if there are corpses on the floors above us so we have to try and be quiet ok? Lie back and just try and be still."
They were in the west side of the mall. There were stores all around them, most of them had the shutters pulled down, but there were a few that were open still. Julie scanned around seeing what she could possibly use. Julie moved quickly over to a clothing store she came running back with a few shirts. She grabbed a wooden chair and broke the legs off it by smashing it over the floor. She then started ripping shirts into strips and tying the long straight pieces of wood to her arm and leg to keep them straight. She then elevated the woman's leg which caused her to cry out in pain. The dog growled at Julie a little, but didn't do much more than that. The cry however echoed throughout the mall. Shuffling could be heard on the floors above them. "Shhhhhhhhhhh......" There was silence. Julie wanted to do more to help, but this place was going to get everyone killed if they weren't quiet. She looked over to an old electronics store who's shutter was only partly down. She grabbed the legs of the chair the suffering woman was on and drug it into the store. She came back out to help Brina carry Charly inside and the dog followed. She pulled down the shutter once everyone was inside. It was dark in this place. Maybe they should wait for morning, it was hard to see already and they didn't want to battle the dead. Julie was next to useless when it came to killing walkers, she always opted to just run away from them.
