Describe your character's life before the Apocolyps:
Before the Outbreak, Shaun would usually spend his time down at the pub, watching the telly and having a laugh, His life was just like any other bloaks, not really special or standout in any way. He married the love of his life and they were quite happy together. She died however, in a home invasion. She was never supposed to be there. She was actually running late, she was going to meet Shaun for a date night, Shaun was running a little late having to stay late at work and finish a few last minute things. Figuring she had the extra time then she stayed behind instead of leaving; to finish fixing her hair. The resulting ten minute delay, caused her to be home when two men broke in and killed her before robbing the house. That was the day Shaun learned that people were capable of horrible things.
What happened to your character on Outbreak day?:
It had been a whole year since his wife was killed, Shaun still felt the pain and the sadness of having her ripped from his life. Shaun was at the cemetary placing flowers on her grave. He stood in front of the headstone. He was holding pink roses. Across from him there was some commotion. They were lowering a coffin into the ground and a funeral was in progress, when suddenly there were noises from inside the coffin. "She's not dead!" someone screamed hearing the thumping from inside. Hearing the words she's not dead, right as he was thinking what he'd do to have her back made a tear roll down Shaun's cheeck as he looked up to see what was happinging. Some middleaged woman lept on the casket and opened the lid to find the reannimated corpse of her sister. With all the funeral make up on and the blinking eyes she really could've passed for alive until she sank her tear into her still living sister's neck. Everyone screamed everyone ran, including shaun. What the hell just happened did that lady just come back from the dead? What the absolute fuck?!? He thought. He ran away from the cemetary, dropping the flowers in his panic. The wind gently blew and the flowers rolled in front of his wife's grave; as Shaun flead the cemetary. As the days passed and the dead slowly started to take over this world, rumors spread that the infection had left america untouched. The rumors were not confirmed as tv signals and radio stations stopped broadcasting shortly after everything fell apart. But none of the broadcasts mentioned America and that maybe, just maybe America wasn't going through this People were finding ships and making the voyage over to America. Shaun, through some bartering with the owner of a boat found himself on such a voyage. He was going to America in hopes of outrunning this sickness that had consumed The UK. He gathered what food he could and brought it aboard the ship, and quietly sat amongst the others making the same leap of faith that America was safe. They didn't speak to each other much on the trip, mostly they just sat quietly, hoping they could escape the nightmare, and dwelling on everything they had lost.
Describe your character's life after the Apocolypse:
Shaun over the last three years of the Apocolypse had no idea what he is searching for, other than a sense of belonging and purpose. His mum was dead, his wife was dead. Everyone he had ever known or ever cared about was gone from this earth. Shaun had no idea what he was searching for, but he knew he had to find something to fill the dull numb feeling he had in his chest. His soul was crumbling. He had to find something, anything that inspired hope in him that things could change or he was sure to give up. Shaun spends his days now aimlessly wandering the Americas like the walkers, no real purpose, only feuled by one desire...... Survival.
