Lila was about to fire off a few more shots when the kid got startled, quickly. "It's possible I am." She turned her eyes back towards the forest when she heard Sean tell her to settle down. She lowered the gun as he asked and turned back towards the goings on down below.
She smirked as she looked at the both of them, thinking she probably would attract walkers but she would take care of them if they ambled out. She leaned on the railing and tucked the gun back into the holster as she looked down at Sebastian.
"So, who's out there? And more importantly, how many?"
She let the sun shine into her eyes as it continued to rise. Her irises went small and the blue seemed to get lighter as she started down. She wondered if she should stay at the guard tower or come down and help Sean if this guy seemed to be a bit out of control.
"And when he says careful, he means really careful. Someone pops out of nowhere how are we to trust he's alone? I'm sure you can understand what I did. It was only a test, after all."
She pulled her lips back into a wider smile as she said that, tilting her head as she looked down at Sean. She wanted to keep her eyes open though in case what she was shooting out came running out of the woods, but so far, no one came. What was he protecting out there?
Her boot kicked against the railing making sure what she was leaning against was stable enough so she could keep leaning against it. She also wondered when the others were going to come back from their run. It was her turn next to go out and go scavenge.

"You're crazy," Sebastian said pointing his finger up at Lila, "both of you." His eyes shot down to Sean. "If this is how react. I laid down my gun, was doing everything you asked." He looked back at the trees. Sure enough, he was right. Walkers were coming from the forest, ten, twenty, maybe more. They stumbled out, drawn by the sound.
"See, draw walker's near. I encountered a bunch on the highway, moving south. I was able to slip away, but your fire drew them here," He said as he raised his rifle up. He fired, taking one in the head. Firing again he took another down, and again. "You have to let me inside. They're getting closer." Sebastian walked toward the gate.
"If there was anyone out there would I leave them alone? I'm telling the truth, let me in," he said aiming his gun, taking out a few more walkers. "You can take my weapons, run over more tests. Just let me inside." He fired again, taking out yet another Walker.
He pressed his back agasint the fence, looking back at them. "Please."

Raylen felt useless as he sat and watched them from the porch, he also felt like he was in dept to ralse and holly after leaving them back at the library run its all he knew its how he survived, but he also knew he had to learn to fight eventually, he couldnt bear to watch one of them die on his account cause he couldnt fight, he took a drag from his cig as he watched them talk to the person on the other side of the gate

Sean awaited the reply of Sebastian, meanwhile Lila talked to him, asking who was out there. He locked eyes again with Bas as he once more told them they were crazy. Sean let him talk, but his kind look, changed to a glare. But there was no time to argue, since walkers where slowly making their way to Sunrise. Sean wouldn’t let his stronghold fall, so he had to get everyone ready to defend.
He saw how Sebastian shot some walkers, while begging to let him in. Sean looked up at Lila, then back at the walkers, trying not to panic while thinking what to do. When Sebastian begged one more time, Sean shook his head. “I can’t leave him out there, with the walkers.” Sean said as he looked up at Lila. "That's not who we want to be." he added. "It's not what i want Sunrise to be." he said before looking back down.
Since he was the leader he didn’t wait for approval, instead he unlocked the gate and rolled it open. He pulled Sebastian in and took his gun from him, throwing it in the other direction, nearly under the tower. “Lila, try to keep them at bay, I’ll call in back-up!” Sean yelled. Then he turned to Sebastian. “You stay put, don’t make me regret letting you inside.” He spoke stern. “And throw all your remain weapons there.” He added pointing to where his other gun was.
He turned around and saw Raylen on the porch. He came back a couple hours earlier, he ran from the supply run, Sean didn’t had time to ask what and why, he would find out later, for now keeping Sunrise safe was what was most important. “Raylen!” Sean yelled. “Grab a gun and get Aaron over here, hurry!” he yelled as loud as he could to the kid. Then Sean himself turned around raised his gun and started to shoot the closest walkers. "Lila, maybe we should change go out there and change to melee weapons, the gunshots will only draw more!" he yelled.
(Aaron is now an npc, so you can npc him getting to the gate, helping out etc)

raylen hadnt expected that many walkers to be on the other side of the gate, as soon as he heard what sean had said he ran back inside the front door "aron! sean needs help! the gate now!" he said as he turned back around leaving the front door open, letting the screen door slam shut he ran down the porch and down the street past the empty house and the windmill he took his gun from his jolster and began shooting the walkers in the head as they got to close aron
aron was reading when he heard raylen call out, he put his book down on the bed and ran out of his room and down the stairs andout the door opening the screen door and letting it slam shut he ran down the porch and began shooting at them standing next to raylen
Olivia kept walking through the woods. She heard a growl, and then fire. Sebastian! He was in danger. She ran back, making her way to the edge of clearing. Peering out of the woods she saw Growlers stumbling out of the car side. They tripped and stumbled forward, one every so often falling desd to Sebastian's firing.
One of the people at the gate let him in and she watched him drop his weapon. He was safe, out of harms way. And he made it inside. She would need to tell the others, then wait for their signal. It was as they planned. If they found a place, Sebastian or one of them would get the supplies, they'd wait for the signal. Once able to grab the supplies from the gate they'd retreat. Then the person inside would escape.
She ran through the woods, over logs and through branches. She had to tell the others Sebastian was inside. That he was okay, and they could wait out for a signal.
Stumbling, wobbling, footsteps shuffled across pavement. Haggard, as expected, and more than a little roughed up, Raine stared on ahead as walls came into view. Growing larger and larger the closer she got. Boot scuffing on a rock, her balance was lost, tumbling down onto the street.
"Fuck..." Raine swore, struggling to push herself up. Not having eaten in far too long, it was more crucial to get food than to stay away from people.
She wouldn't stay long, just enough to eat and move on.
Despite the shake in her arms, Raine got up, getting her feet underneath her before standing back up. It wasn't too far from the walls. Just get to the walls.
Just get to the walls.
Darkness started to creep into the edge of her vision.
Just get to the walls.
Further and further the dark seeped into her sight. Taking away the color, blocking out light.

Lila looked out at the biters started stumbling out of the woods, one by one. Straggling out, following each other like the herd they were, looking for another fresh kill. The closest one seemed to be Sebastian and she watched him as he panicked a bit.
She crossed her arms and watched as he fired off a few shots towards the gathering, watching the numbers of the dead grow until Sean finally let him in. She shrugged and looked back from her lookout tower. "Let's just hope we can trust him." Of course, Sebastian pointed out that she was the crazy one, but she was just showing her colors. She still didn't trust that he was here alone.
She took aim and fired, carefully as they got closer and closer. She didn't want to take any chances of missing so the closer they got, the better her aim would be. Three were laid out in the field that separated the woods from their little complex. She only had a few bullets left so she could certainly use all the help she could get.
She didn't see Raine approaching from another wall as her gaze was fiercely set on the walkers. Instead of waiting though, she scrambled down, ran to her truck and grabbed another gun, this time a rifle with enough ammo to take out at least a dozen more. They could thin the herd down enough to take out the rest by hand.
When she finally raced back up and got back into the tower, the biters were at the gate, clawing and pawing at it, giving it a good test.
"Hey Sean! This is where we can find any weak spots. Instead of putting them down, why don't we lure them to each side! See what holds and what looks weak?"
It would be a good test, she knew that. Little did she know the already exhausted, hungry and tired Raine would be tested also.
It was clear Lila didn't want him in, Sebastian knew that. She ddont trust him, and in good reason. He had lied to them. They couldn't prove it, but they could tell it wasn't the truth. But they were going to let him in. They were going to trust him, for now. Sebastian would take the chance. He wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth.
He entered the gate and set his rifle with his other gun. Removing and knives and blades he had, he set them on the pile. Taking a step back he looked at Sean. "That's all of them, you can pat me down, check if you want. It's all I have on me." Sebastian quickly looked at the walkers and the clearing. It seemed they had stopped flowing out and we're now heading for the fences.
"I can help. You saw how good of a shot I was. Let me help you take them out and then you can take away my gun. If that's all the people you have, you better all be crack shots," Sebastian said looking at the gathering walkers. His rifle was right there, he could help. But he could tell these wouldn't go for it. They didn't trust him.
Lila didn't want to take them down though. She wanted to test the fences. If this is what they needed it was a good idea. "You can draw them along the fences, she's right. Bang your guns on the side, draw them to you." He looked at the walkers, taking a step back. He was itching to take them out, he hated the dead.

Sean had heard Lila her comment about trusting. “It’s, not because I didn’t let him die, that I trust him, trust is gained, now given for free.” Sean spoke as he shot yet another walker. Soon they were joined by Raylen and Aaron, both of them had guns and where helping to clear the walkers. They tried to keep them at bay, while Sean noticed Lila leaving the tower, he knew she was probably getting more ammo or guns.
Sean focused on the walkers as he heard Sebastian offering to help. “Unless you want to go behind the fence and kill them with a knife, you can’t help.” Sean spoke stern. “You sure as hell won’t get your guns back, until we have time to have a decent talk.” He added.
Mere seconds later he watched Lila return to her post and it seemed like they would be able to keep the place safe. But it would take time, cause the where thinned out, but there were more than enough of those dead heads left. Sean was still waiting on the response to his idea, he told the pothers it would be wise to stop shooting and go out and kill them with melee weapons, since the gunshots would only draw more. But Sean never got a response to that plan. He was just about to ask again, when he heard Lila calling out his name.
Sean looked up and listened to Lila. She said this was the perfect opportunity to find weak spots, to see what the durability of the fences were. Sean stopped shooting for a second as he thought about it. It would be risky, if one of the fences fell, Sunrise would fall, there was no back-up, Jonah was locked in the house, Holly and Ralse on a supply run and he didn’t even want Alfred his help. That douche would be kicked out after all of this.
He was pulled out of his thoughts by the voice of Sebastian, who said it would be a good idea. “Oh now you two are friends all of the sudden.” Sean spoke as he raised an eyebrow. “You have no say in this, you aren’t part of our group yet, you are new, so just stay out of it.” Sean added. He might have been harsh to bas, but if all new members would start to get involved and saying what would be best, it would be one big chaos. Sean put him in his place and let him know there was only one leader.
He then looked up at Lila. “It’s risky, with Holly and Ralse gone and Jo in the house, but then again if we ever get attacked we won’t have time to prepare either, so let’s do it.” He spoke as he looked at her. Sean then started to yell, make as much noise as possible to draw them all the one spot. “Raylen, Aaron, help me gather them!” He yelled. Sean was nervous about this, he hoped the fences would stay up.
(Btw, let’s just keep the fence up, it should be strong enough xD, no walkers inside Sunrise yet xD )

Raylen ran behind Aron as they approached Sean by the fence aron began yelling "over here! Come on!" he screamed as he picked up the stick and began banging on the fence, Raylen seemed distracted as he wasn't yelling but he was banging on the fence "hey Sean!" Raylen yelled to him trying to scream over the noise "I've got an idea, how about when your finished testing the fence i use my bike to draw them away! just give me a talkie and the go ahead!"

Lila waited patiently for Sean to make a decision. She heard his harsh words to Sebastian who also agreed her plan would be a good one. When Sean finally made the call, she climbed down from the tower, skipping the last few rungs jumping down the ground and immediately heading for the fence. She looked at Raylen and pointed in the opposite direction.
"You go west, I go east. We divide them up along the fence and make some noise."
She knew this would be the perfect test as Aaron climbed into the watch tower to help keep an eye on the walkers and their movements. If any started to breech the walls, he would take care of them from above.
She moved down the length of the fence, pounding her hands against it and rattling it as she called out.
"Come on deadies! Come on this way! Come on then!" The guys would hear her calling out to the biters, having them follow and their hands clawed at each section of the fence she moved down. Occasionally she felt the fence would crack and break down, but it seemed to hold. She took the knife out of her back pocket and carved an X into each part she thought was weak and would need some reinforcement down the line. She would continued the slow process of testing the fence, luring the biters away from the main entrance. This way if Ralse and Holly returned, they would have clean, clear access to get in and get safe.
With the supermarket behind them, they came to a stop two miles down the road and Holly jumped into the driver seat while pushing Marcella over to the passenger seat. She had full confidence in Marcella's driving, it was just that she knew she had more experience with it and had more experience with these roads. With the seat belt clicked Holly spoke to the pregnant woman,
" OK hun, here's the play, I need you to hold out for ten minutes," straight away the pickup took off at a speed," Get you home and than we can give you some proper medical attention."
Holly held back for nothing and broke god knows how many old rules of the road. She was half tempted to put the siren on just for the fun of it, but that would of just been foolish and idiotic. Ammo was all gone and the pickup had seen better days. The front and left side windows were cracked from the blow of infected heads hitting the glass. She could also feel the pull on the wheels, from a quick guess she summoned infected had gotten wedged under the wheels and the engine hum was also out of tune. Let alone the dents around the body and been covered in infected blood.
Finally they came with in sight of home. Straight away Holly noticed infected further down the wall, she could only guess they had kept them away from the entrance to make it easier for her to enter. Without slowing down Holly kept her speed towards the gate hoping they were paying attention. With luck the gate opened, she hit the breaks and came to a stop just past the gate inside the compound. Throwing the keys to Marcella, Holly jumped out of the pickup and let a shout.
" We need a medic now," she moved to the rear door and opened it," Baby on the way and it ain't mine,"

A few hours had passed and Raylen decided to take evening shift at the gate, He was sitting in a chair next to the gate, his pistol in its holster, he put his left hand up to his mouth and took a drag from his cigarette when he heard a truck engine roaring in the distance, He dropped the cigarette as he looked through the hole to see if he could see anything, It was holly's truck, Raylen immediatly felt the dread and anxiety coming over him as he thought about how pissed off she would be, he wasn't sure what the group would do to him when they found out he ran.
once the truck had stopped just outside of Raylens and Arons house, Marcus jumped out of the bed of the truck and opened the back door, Ashley then climbed out carefully as she had Sarah in her arms, Jon climbed out the passenger side door while Ethan jumped out of the truck and made his way around the front of the truck to where Ashley was, He then took Sarah from Ashley and sat on the bottom step of the porch that led to the front door of The house.
Once the gate was shut Raylen ran over to where holly had stopped the truck, Raylen followed Marcus, who was carrying Aria into the house, Jonathan Followed while Ashley stayed outside with Ethan and Sarah
Marcus walked through the corridor then took a right into the living room then set her on the couch before looking to Holly as he didn't know what to do
Three weeks travel on the rail trails and back roads across Missouri, stopping only to siphon gasoline from abandoned vehicles and underground tanks at gas stations, as well as scavenge for food. Franklin's wound above his left eyebrow was now a black, sideways v-shaped scab, and didn't seem to get infected thanks to the fish aquarium antibiotics Franklin would drink with water.
Along the way, Franklin's GMC Denali broke down so Grady hitched it to his tow truck. It didn't improve the tow truck's gas mileage, but at least Franklin's truck could serve as extra storage space and a spare gas tank on their way to Indian Cave State Park in Nebraska where Franklin's former group had buried weapons and MREs along the bank of the Missouri River. It was a long shot to see if the supplies had survived last year's flooding, but at least the cache site was marked on Franklin's GPS.
But now they were off course. State Highway 111 was blocked off closed for construction when the Apocalypse started, and impassable, so winding through detours and backtracking they arrived in the outskirts of Rock Port, which Grady described as "some hippy treehugger environmentalist whacko town" but Franklin admired the windmill and solar panels that dotted the countryside. It had potential, at least if there was a way to keep the rotters from crashing the town every time someone turned on the lights or turned on music. Like the rest of the world, this town was dead.
Grady pulled his tow truck into a gas station, and pried open the lids to the ground tanks. Grady had rigged up a Shop- Vac with a 40 foot garden hose that he could plug into the auxiliary AC/DC power converter in the cab of his tow truck, to suck gasoline out of ground tanks quickly, 5 gallons at a time, then reverse the motor to spray it into his tow truck's gas tank. The process was time-consuming and noisy, so Franklin stood watch as Grady retrieved fuel. After about a hour and a half and Franklin taking down three walkers with his machete, Grady had filled the gas tank in his tow truck and topped off the tank in Franklin's SUV.
As Grady was loading his Shop-Vac contraption back onto his tow truck, a steady thump of automatic weapons fire was heard, emanating from somewhere across town. Franklin and Grady jumped back into the cab of the tow truck, not knowing what to think.
Just then a truck with a lightbar and North Carolina State Police markings sped by, seemingly covered with the undead clinging on all sides.
Grady dropped the gearshift into drive and took off after the police truck, but unable to match its speed while towing Franklin's SUV.
"They're goners," Grady exclaimed. "But the water pump in that truck will fit your Denali."
"I thought you didn't want to rob people," Franklin quipped.
"Graverobbing is okay, I guess."
Franklin and Grady followed the police truck as best they could, but saw it enter a walled compound as they lagged behind.
Grady slowed his tow truck down as he approached the gate.
"I wonder if they'll let us in?"
"Let me do the talking," Franklin said.
"Why?"
"Because you look like you brushed your teeth with dogshit."
"Fuck you!"
"Chill. I got this."
Franklin stepped out of the passenger side of the tow truck cab, and stood in front of the vehicle, arms out to his side and empty handed. He called out.
"SHIT!" Grady yelled, as he noticed a herd of walkers rounding the corner of the complex's walls to the left. "Franklin! Left side!"
Grady didn't wait for Franklin to react, but impulsively turned the wheel hard to the left and punched the accelerator. Within moments the tow truck was plowing through dozens of walkers, their fragile bodies exploding on the front end bull bar as Grady drove along the outer wall with Franklin's SUV in tow. After the first orbit around the complex, Grady's truck was drenched in the slime of broken rotters. He stopped to retrieve Franklin, who was striking down single fuglies with his machete.
"Are they gonna fuckin' let us in or what?" Grady said. Grady punched the accelerator again, making another orbit around the complex and taking down even more dozens of walkers before reaching the gate they saw the police truck enter. Grady laid on the horn and yelled "For fuck's sake let us in!" Then started a third run around the complex.
"Make one more pass around this place. And slow the fuck down you're gonna roll us with my truck in tow. There's no use in having two broke down vehicles out here." Franklin gritted his teeth.
"I done run down at least forty or fifty them damn goonies out here tearin up my truck for nothin' I oughta plow through they front gate and out the back gate and to hell with them!" Grady fumed.
"There's no use getting mad, Grady. Probably nobody even in there to open the gate now. That police truck was pretty thick with climbers when it passed us."
"So it wouldn't hurt to tear their gates down..."
"Relax, man. The crowd of fuglies is thinning out. Turn on your lightbar and pull up to the gate."
As Grady slowly drove around the complex again, weaving to hit single walkers, Franklin picked up the microphone on Grady's CB radio, and toggled on the PA system.
Franklin's words echoed off the walls of the complex as they emerged from the loudspeaker. **WE KNOW THAT SOMEONE IS IN THERE - PLEASE OPEN THE GATE AND LET US IN**
Franklin wanted to add a threat - "open the gate or we'll knock it down" - but not knowing what was beyond the walls perhaps diplomacy was best.
Franklin eyed a guard tower and thought he saw someone. He keyed the PA again.
**WE HAVE FOOD AND MEDICINE - WE CAN HELP YOU - PLEASE LET US IN**
"What kind of shit is that? We got a case of wine, 3 pounds of weed and 3 year old cans of goddamn cat food.." Grady grumbled.
Franklin said "We can't fuck them until they're wet."
"Goddammit Frankie we ain't tryna fuck 'em" Grady argued.
Grady just wanted inside. Three weeks on the road with Franklin was hard compared to locking himself up inside his garage back home. All the back road sneaking, dodging raider gangs, unproductive scavenging, and... Franklin. He had left the barge community Franklin had cobbled together partly because of all the traveling and fighting they were doing to survive. After a year's reflection upon and distance from it perhaps Grady was even skeptical of Franklin's leadership. He didn't want to kill anyone anymore. Certainly not for food or a place to stay. Grady had become comfortable, and in what was left of his home, and Franklin uprooted him from that to pursue another scheme. A fucking quest for buried treasure. Grady wanted to go back to eating Jerusalem artichokes and squirrel. Not get in a damned firefight over Franklin trying to bullshit his way into a fortress.
Grady drummed his fingers on the steering wheel as he pulled back up to the gate. Franklin continued his loudspeaker pleas until Grady turned both the CB and the lightbar off.
"They heard you and they see us for fuck's sake. Trucks gonna overheat and seize with all this goonie shit in the grill."
At that, Grady shut the engine off.
"If they don't let us in, we got enough gas to find another place to hold out."
A few straggler walkers stalked out of the woods, but it seemed like what was left of the bulk of this herd was caked on the sides and front of the tow truck and Franklin's SUV. Maybe thick enough to turn the stomachs of anyone wanting to search all the toolchests and utility compartments.
Franklin wanted to parlay with the fortress dwellers. Grady had a nervous feeling it wouldn't end well.
Holly took a walk around her pickup, just from the look she knew it was going to take a few days before she'd be even willing to move it. As she continued to look around it Marcella jumped into the driver seat and with two taps on the side from Holly it took off to the driveway of there House. The pickup had done the job as always and kept her alive. It seemed only fair to her to bring it back to peak condition.
As she stood there contemplating the idea of maybe having to greet the strangers she just saved, a wolf whistle came from the watchtower and then followed by a shout from outside the walls. Climbing up to the watchtower Holly gave a shout back to the strangers.
" I don't have to do swat, I ain't some UN relief," her eyes stayed focused on the strangers ," You want in, well then don't diss the innkeeper and you will surrender your weapons over till you leave, plus you surrender to a search."
She couldn't help but wonder what there real motive was, if they even had any and if they'd even be cooperative with them.

"The fuck are you doing?" Jonathan said as he Grabbed Raylens arm and forced him outside before shutting the door on him, then walked over to where Marcus and Aria were, she began screaming as she pushed, the noise filled the house and it was even loud enough to hurt Marcus's ears but he didn't care, the only thing he cared about was delivering this baby, his baby, he couldn't believe this was happening, couldn't believe they are about to bring another child into this world of hurt and sorrow, but on the other hand it represents hope, hope that there's still a future, and it lies within these walls
Meanwhile... Raylen fell down the steps but got up and brushed it off before walking past the small group and towards the watchtower, but stayed by the ladder not climbing up as he was afraid holly might throw him off, He leaned against one of the beams that supported the watchtower and listened to her talking to the people on the outside of the gate
Ashley who was watching raylen and holly at the watchtower sat next to Ethan before her attention turned to Sarah, "I want to leave, Jonathan and Marcus are only getting worse, and once this baby is born i know they'll fight over Aria and you seen what happened with ben, they got him killed cause of they're ego's" Ashley looked up at Ethan "But what about Sarah? she would be better off here" Ethan looked at ashley "They got ben killed, they could get me or you killed, and if something were to happen, if this place got over run, either they are gonna get someone killed or get themselves killed" he said as he looked down at Sarah who was sleeping
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
