As Seth sat there, thinking, Sisa came to him. Asking what they do now. And it was a good question. Seth had already mentioned going to this group. But in his own mind, that could lead to disaster. Should they shoot for two in the same weak? Possibly ruin two plans back to back and cause more lives to die? He wasn't sure. He knew they had the fire power to make a difference in whatever kind of battle they'd find themselves in. After all, they had a gun closet full of ammo and guns that he had collected around the city. From the armory and police station. Even shotguns from the hunting store. The ones that were left that is.
After looking Sisa in the eyes for a good couple of seconds, Seth stood up. "We're gonna fight." He walked across the room towards the conference room. "Sisa and others, gather everyone to the conference room for an emergency meeting. Joseph, I need to talk to you in private before I talk to them." He said motioning Joseph to follow him in the office.

"Alright, head to the conference room, everyone," Joseph said, still somewhat over both Sisa's question to him and his subsequent outburst back towards her. A completely unprofessional response, he mused, following Seth over to one of the offices, wondering what Seth had to say. As he entered, Joseph asked, "Alright, Seth, what's up?"
Post by Sisa Huamani on Apr 10, 2016 13:35:09 GMT -5
Sisa tried to remain as positive as she could toward his response. It was too dangerous and stupid for her to ant to be part of or admit that it was the right thing to do. All she wanted was for that damn handsome pothead back in her and koya's life again. Dark eyes looked away giving a nod before returning to look at Seth.
"Your a good man. Keep your shit together.."
Dark judge mental eyes glanced at Joseph. How dare he have such a child like outburst toward her at a time like this. Her brows scrunched up together keeping that look long and hard on Joseph. A softer more calmer reflected was given toward Seth before the mother walked toward the conference room.
But.. Before entering she yelled loud enough for Kara to hopefully hear. "YOU HEARD HIM KIKI OR WHATEVER YOUR NAME IS. STOP SUCKING DICK AND GET THE FUCK DOWN HERE." It was a tone both yelling and kind enough to keep Koya from becoming fussy as she rocked her on her hip. Without even looking back toward the others she continued her walk toward the conference room. Taking a seat quietly placing the child on her lap facing her. Quietly talking baby words toward her in hopes of getting a clear word out of her.

Dean nodded as Kara spoke about fitting in. “We are a pretty warm group, just a bad time to join us that’s all.” he said with a little smile. “But you just need time, we all need time.” He added. Then he nodded again as Kara spoke about Joseph. “I know, we will.” He said. “It’s just hard to keep believing in it, I will never give up on Nick, but I can’t go on much longer.” He spoke in a sad tone. It was the first time in long, Dean shared his true feelings. He didn’t like to share his sadness, but he had to do something, he was completely broken.
Just a second later he stopped. “Damn forgot something, go down without me, I’ll be right there.” He spoke while turning around. “I check our personal walkies daily, I know it’s silly, but you never know.” He said rushing back.
He reached the door, opened it and immediately rushed to the nightstand where he left the walkie. He took a deep breath. “Nicky, it’s Dean, can you hear me?” he asked as he felt his eyes getting watery again. Everything that reminded him of Nick, caused him to get emotional. “Please, be there.” He added before letting go of the button.
Feeling a bit better than she had when she expressed her thoughts on fitting in with the rest of the group, Kara smiled and nodded when Dean suggested she go ahead and join the rest of the group downstairs. "I'll see you downstairs then," she said, turning and walking down the hallway. Whistling as she bounded down the stairs, she was about to the ground floor when she heard Sisa yelling at her, using a few choice words in her mind towards Kara. That witch, she bitterly thought as she got to the ground floor, blowing out a few breaths in an effort to calm herself down...then she thought about what Sisa had said and mused to herself, She's just jealous over Joseph, that's all, re-joining the others and sitting down in the conference room, setting her rifle down nearby and wondering when they'd head out to find Nick.
As the others were being gathered to the conference room, Seth stood face to face with Joseph in the office. "Skylar....he was shot." He said with a look of frustration. As if it was his fault that he was killed. Guilty that he couldn't save him in time or at least warn see the shooter sooner to warn him. So many possibilities could of worked out so that Skylar would still be alive and the city would be walker free.
"By one of those guys....that we found in the police station. The one that you locked in that room.......he got out, and shot up my driver causing me to wreck and nearly get eaten alive by 200 walkers." He looked at Joseph, now sort of showing a bit of rage in his eyes in which matches perfectly with the blood stains all over his face and body. "Joseph, if I could of.....if I could of opened that door, and killed that man, then none of this would be happening right now....Nick and Zack would be here and Skylar would be alive." He said, not trying to make it seem like he's blaming Joseph. "At the end of the day it was my choice to listen to you or not. But I just need to know....do you...do you have a problem with killing?"
Post by Joseph MacMillan on Apr 11, 2016 14:19:22 GMT -5
For several moments, Joseph stood face-to-face with Seth, arms crossed, pondering that last question of his...noting the man's rage, he knew his next words would be some of the most important ones he had ever spoken in his life. "No, Seth, I don't have a problem with killing," thinking about the attack on Annie's Farm and the marauders there he had to kill in order to protect the farmstead, "but what I do have a problem with is killing for the sake of killing."
Leaning back against the wall, he continued. "Ever hear of "the Code of the West", Seth?" Before Seth could reply, Joseph held up a hand to silence him so that he continue. "Even with all the laws and regulations that were around before the walkers took over, people out West had a second code they lived by, an informal code, if you will...and one of those codes was that you never - never! - shot an unarmed or unwarned man unless you'd warned him before you shot him...you know, the same way rattlesnakes always warn you before they strike." By now, Joseph had pushed himself off of the wall and was right back face-to-face with Seth as he went on. "Now, maybe I should've let you kill him...or maybe I should've done it myself, saved you the trouble...here's the thing, Seth: given what we were doing at the time, we did not have the time to waste to deal with anyone that was not a direct threat to us, which is why I didn't kill him like you suggested...
"Now, given what happened to your friend Skylar, I'm going to have to live with the consequences of my decision back there and don't think for one goddamn moment, Seth, that I don't live with that bouncing around in my mind, just as you're going to have to live with the consequences of deciding to take the safe zone walls earlier..." By now, steam was beginning to roll out of Joseph's ears - that is, if one could visualize that kind of anger - as he continued. "Seth, right now, all I'm worried about is finding Nick and Zack and getting them back here and that means I have to kill every sonuvabitch over in Waltonville, then so be it!
"But I do know this, Seth," Joseph said as he backed away from Seth and walked over to the door, turning to add, "now ain't the damn time to worry about what coulda' happened or what we shoulda' done or this and that; right now, we've got to figure out how we're gonna' to get our boys back and that's what I'm focused on. All the rest, I can worry about later on or in the next life; I suggest you do the same, Seth." Without waiting for a reply, Joseph walked out of the office and headed for the conference room to join the others.

Dean waited, but nothing came back. “Fuck!” he yelled out loud, full of anger. He then closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He put the walkie in the pocket of his pants, since the walkie wasn’t that big, he figured since they would be gone all day, it would be wise to take him, then he could try on while searching. After putting it in his pocket he walked out of the room.
As he got closer to the meeting room, he heard the voices talking, though he couldn’t hear a thing they were saying. Not that he was paying attention, his mind was thinking about Nick. He looked up at everyone as he walked in an noticed Seth standing in the office, together with Joseph. Immediately he looked around, trying to find Nick, but he didn’t see anyone. Not focusing on the conversation, he rushed over to Seth. “Where is Nick?” he asked worried. “Have you seen him?” he asked with desperation in his eyes. “You both disappeared, tell me he was with you?” he added.
He might came across as going a little crazy, since he didn’t even knew what they were talking about and just barged n asking about Nick, not even saying he was happy seeing Seth was ok or asking what happened. But they had to give him credit, for him Nick was the most important things.
(I hope the office is viewable from the conference room, figured it was, if not I’ll edit ;-))

As he walked out of the office and headed to the conference room, he kept thinking about Seth's question and asking himself mentally, Do I have a problem with killing? Almost as soon as he asked himself that question, his next thought was, If I did, I wouldn't be here now; I'd probably be dead by now, either that or I'd be shambling about as one of those....creatures out there; in the back of his mind, he recalled the events at Annie's Farm, when he and the others had been forced to defend the farm from a group of cultists. He'd had to kill several people that day and he hadn't relished any of it; to him, it was about defending the farmstead and the people there from outside attackers and nothing more.
Yet the question continued to bug him, so much so that he failed to notice Dean walk right past him; though he caught sight of him passing by, Joseph was so caught up in thought that he didn't even acknowledge him as he passed by....indeed, he was so engrossed in his own thoughts that he had to stop lest he stumble into the stairs. After a few moments of thought - and a few muttered choice words about Seth's question - Joseph decided to put the issue to bed and focus on the task ahead of them; turning back around, he walked into the conference room and sat down, smiling at everyone - including Sisa, adding a slight nod as he smiled at her - as he sat down next to Kara, his thoughts now consisting of how they were going to find Nick and where they were going to go to do so...
Joseph didn't react the way Seth had thought. He seemed quite heated about Seth questioning him in that sense. There was no doubt in his mind that Joseph and his original group had been through a lot. He had heard the talks throughout the lobby. So it made sense if his question had hit a spot in Joseph's heart. Pissing him off a bit.
His points were valid. Seth couldn't argue with that. What's done is done and him sort of trying to established a shared blame agreement with Joseph was silly. They need to be focused. And Seth needs to act as a leader. No blame needed to be handed out. And nobody was to be question about their previous actions. It's all about the here and now. And a storm that seems to be brewing at a place called Waltonville.
Joseph walked out of the office without turning back as Seth took in his words, nodding his head in agreement even if Joseph wasn't looking. He sincerely agreed with him and if Joseph hadn't of walked off, he would of apologized and admitted he was wrong to question him. But before he could catch up with him, Dean walks in, concerned about Nick. Wandering if he was with him....if he was ok...and Seth hated to have to shake his head. He knew it was eating Dean alive. And would give anything to bring him good news instead of bad.
"No....Dean. I'm sorry. But don't fret. Come into the conference room, and I'll explain the plan there. We'll get him back safe and sound. Zack too." He said motioning Dean to follow as he exited the office and entered the Conference Room to see everybody seated. A packed room. All people who depend on him to come up with a solution for this issue. He stood up at the podium looking to see Alexis for the first time in a few days. He smiled as she looked on at him with blue eyes. Obviously very happy to see that he's alive.
"For those wondering......I was trapped in the city for a few days, with walkers on every corner. I had a few close counters, but I made it out alive. Sadly, Skylar Jenson did not." He blinked a few times, gulping before speaking. "But that's not why I called you all in here......there's a problem. Two of our people are missing. Nick and Zack. Nick disappeared on the day of the plan, after things gone ballistic. And Zack went out looking for him on his own." He paused to scratch his blood stained face. "Hadley here had told us about this group who raids other groups and kidnaps survivors in order to fuel his own community.....and we think that's where Nick was taken. Joseph and Kara had searched all over the city, and he was nowhere to be found. But Waltonville is about 80 miles outside the city. And we won't just assume that he isn't there. There's a chance he is and we are going to take it. Tonight." He let the sudden plan to go to an unknown community so soon sink in to some before continuing. "We're not going to just knock on the door. There's tunnels in the community that Hadley had told us about. We'll take them into the community and sneak our way around, trying to find Nick. We'll try our BEST to avoid confrontation with these people. They will shoot us down. We'll need to be prepared for a fight if we are to be seen. Now we can take two trucks up there. Joseph driving one and me driving the other. Do we have any volunteers to get our boys back? It's risky. Very risky. But we wouldn't be here today if none of us knew what we were doing when things got dangerous."
Hadley had been standing in the doorway listening in. Thinking about the Star Chasers and looking at these people making a rescue plan. What made them so sure that their friends would still be alive? Or if they were alive, would they even want to leave, due to Walton's brainwashing. She stands there and thinks about why she left the Star Chasers in the first place. She had always hoped that they would still be alive. After all that is what kept her fighting every day, but deep in her gut she had a feeling that there wouldn't be a reunion. Not for her at least. At the very least she can do one thing right and make sure that Walton pays for what he is doing, "I think you all are crazy and asking for a death wish for doing this, but I'm in. The tunnels are narrow, and if that is going to be our way in and out, there are going to need to be some other people there in case things go south, during the rescue." She then turns to Seth, "It's your call what the groups are. Either way I'll do what I can to get your friends out."
Listening to Seth's plan, Kara couldn't help but nod in agreement; it was a smart plan...they just needed volunteers is all, she thought. Without hesitating, she stood up, as confident as she'd ever been. "I'm in, Seth," she said. "What do you need?"
Post by Joseph MacMillan on Apr 13, 2016 14:10:21 GMT -5
Sitting back in his chair, Joseph thought about Seth's plan for Waltonville; like Kara, he nodded in agreement and after hearing Hadley's idea for getting in, he pretty much knew what the general plan would end up being. Getting up, he said, "Okay, so Seth's leading one group, I'm leading the other. Hadley, you're with me; you lead us inside. Kara," glancing over at her for a moment, "I want you to work with Seth; he's going to need as many guns with him as possible 'cause his group's gonna' hold the door open for us when we leave...and we will all leave together, ladies and gentlemen; no one gets left behind!" Looking around, he added, "Any other volunteers?"
Post by Dean LeMarchal on Apr 13, 2016 18:01:05 GMT -5
Dean looked at Seth as he replied, he looked back down disappointed. Seth had no idea where Nick was, once more it felt like an arrow hit him right in the heart. He took a deep breath and followed Seth into the conference room, he had to keep hoping, giving up now would be stupid, right before the mission, everyone was going to help look for Nick and Zack, which gave him hope.
He walked in and leaned against the wall with his back as he listened to Seth. He heard as Seth explained where he was, Dean felt bad for not even asking if he was ok, but he was so busy with thinking about Nick, that it didn’t even cross his mind. He also heard Seth telling them Skylar didn’t make it. Dean felt defeated, losing someone was never good and what if that would have been Nick.
Again he was thinking about Nick, he knew he couldn’t keep his head clear and was afraid that he was slowly getting insane from not knowing where he was. He shook his head and focused, listening to Seth. He felt sick and was getting nauseous as Seth explained where they thought Nick was. “If Nick is really there, we have no time to lose, we need to get him out.” Dean said trying to sound calm, but on the same time not even asking who Hadley was, again he wasn’t focusing. “Why would people to things like this, even after being so long in this sick world, some people still surprise me and not in a good way.” He added before listening to Seth again.
He nodded and as Seth said they couldn’t assume he wasn’t there and that they were going to find out tonight. “Agreed.” He spoke stern. Meanwhile he felt rage rushing through his veins, the thought of someone hurting Nick, it made him angry and scared at the same time. Seth then explained the plan and stopped with question if there were volunteers to help.
He then heard someone calling them crazy, she seemed to know the tunnels, so Dean figured she was the one Seth spoke about. He didn’t agree with her comment and was already on edge so he replied. “Saving a loved one isn’t crazy or a death wish, saying that to a person close to the one we are saving, now that’s a death wish.” He said with a glare. “But thanks for joining is and helping us.” He added.
Then Kara also agreed to join in followed by Joseph, who spoke about two groups and once more asked for volunteers. “No surprise, but I’ll go.” Dean spoke. “We need to get him out of there as soon as possible.” He added. “I’ll go with you Joseph.” Dean spoke looking at him.
Hadley nods at Joseph then looks at Dean and walks up to him, "You're right. Saving those you care about is a noble thing. What I meant was going into Waltonville and underestimating Walton, now that is the death wish. Which is why we need all the help we can get so we can go in there with a solid plan." She says sincerely, then turns to the rest of the people, "Walton is not going to allow us to just leave, and has no doubt amped up security since the last time I was, and knowing Walton, he wont let us walk out of there without a fight."
Post by Sisa Huamani on Apr 13, 2016 18:45:53 GMT -5
Sisa looked up at Seth as he explained the situation to them, glancing back down now more worried then before. What is Zack was their too? What if he was getting tortured again like with the cultist? Thankfully her daughter made a noise which brought the tan women's attention away from the topic of conversation (Spoken In Quechua)"Koya do you think tata is there? Oh but if Joseph goes then it puts you at risk for illness and.. And.."(Spoken In Quechua)
Once again Koya little noise babble had her brought back down to earth. Looking into those pretty little eyes of the sweet little ten month old. Sisa sighed before she glanced up at the men and that weird women. Switching her eyes from Dean and the women as their was something said about crazy and Sisa didn't like it. You weren't crazy for wanting to save a loved one.. If you didn't now then you would be a coward. "Dean is right." It slipped out despite Sisa being under the assumption it would be an inner thought rather then outer words.
Why the fuck was she even sitting here. Other then that confirmation of one of their correctness all she was being was some warm body keeping the seat warm. Trying to keep the emotions hidden away in her not to show her slowly cracking walls under all the pressure. Under all the reality of it all. What if he was gone? Do you know how to deal with loss? Can you raise a child as a single parent? Where is he? All those questions and more flooded her mind to the point a headache began to develop.
"Well Joseph already knows my opinion.. I mention it all the time that he is the sole doctor here" Letting out a faint grunt as she held Koya growing body on her hip now standing up from her seat. Taking a few steps toward where Seth was standing. Slowly like the bringer of bad news, like the black raven haired beauty she was. "Don't put him in harms way" she whispered to Seth while walking around him. All the meanwhile her other hand had pulled out a baby wet wipe from her jeans pocket. With a very serious expression on her face she offered it to him. "Don't let any more blood be shed" Nodding toward his blood stained face before leaving right as Koya began to cry.
(Sisa left the thread but gave you a baby wipe for your face Seth. #Sisa1:Mom)
Ben had been rather quiet since coming here. He helped out with simple tasks, and where ever he was needed. He hadn't really spoken to anyone, none of this new group, but others at the Hampton. He knew most of them by now, Seth and Skylar more so than others. He wasn't the best shot, but he knew these people needed him. He owed his life to Seth. The man put a roof over his head, and kept him fed. This place offered protection, they needed that.
"I volunteer too," he said stepping forward. "I wan't to start pulling my weight around here. And honestly, you need any gun you can get. I'm not the best shot, but my dad and brother was a cop. I know how to shoot." He looked at them. "I'll got with Seth. If that's where guns are needed, that's where I'll be."
He paused, "So what's the plan exactly? We just rush in there, shoot around. Do we know how many people are in there, what we are up against? I want to help, but I want to know the full plan." He looked at Dean. "We can save them, but is it worth it to risk more in the process. Maybe we can reason with these people, avoid a fight."
Post by Dawson Joels on Apr 14, 2016 15:38:04 GMT -5
Dawson having just joined knew he had to earn the trust and respect of these people, " i was a marine...I'd be more than happy to help get a lost comrade back. But Like Ben said though, what IS the plan exactly?"
Post by Joseph MacMillan on Apr 14, 2016 17:19:54 GMT -5
After listening to both Ben and Dawson volunteer, Joseph chimed in once more. "Okay, so that's Hadley and Dean with me so far; Kara, Ben and Dawson with Seth. We just need a few more volunteers and we'll be set," looking around the room at everyone.
Remembering Ben's question about what their plan was, Joseph continued, glancing over at him. "Ben, here's the plan: we're going into Waltonville to get one of our own, Nick, out of there; that's where we believe he's at and if he's there, we get him out. Two groups, mine and Seth's. My group, with Hadley as guide," nodding at the young woman for a moment, "are going to go into Waltonville using the tunnels she used to get out of there and find Nick. Once we find him, we link up with Seth's group...which brings the question: how will they get inside?
"That's easy," he said laconically, "Seth and his group are going to come in right through the front door." He let that sink in for a few seconds. "How you do that, Seth, is up to you but if everything goes as planned, we go in, find Nick, link up with Seth's group and go right back out whatever's left of the front gate...and as I said earlier, we will all be leaving together; we are leaving no one behind there, ladies and gentlemen, no one gets left behind." By now the same stern look he'd had with Seth during their conversation was back. After a few moments, he asked, "Any more volunteers? Any questions?"
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
