Regan and Ivy both get seated in a black escape, ready to drive off wherever it was Ivy wanted to go. Regan knew she wanted alone time with him. That's what he figured that is. With a cocky smirk and glanced at her admiring her sexy lips before heading off down the road in the general direction he knew to go. Not even allowing a moment of silence he began to speak up. "That Vlad guy is a pussy. He didn't give you no problems while I was gone did he? Cuz if he did, you ain't acting like it. I wouldn't kill him. I'd just punch his fuckin nose to the back of his head." With a calm tone, Regan expressed who he is. A bad ass, fowl mouthed, douche bag. And he embraces it every step of the way.
Ivy was finally getting her horse back, with the help of Regan of course. Meanwhile they had some time off and some time alone, that way they would get to know each other even better. As she started out of the window, she thought of how things changed, from Dolph, to Acer, to finally a shared leadership with the person she hated when meeting. The bond between Regan and herself greatly improved ever since they shared leadership, which was good, she liked it and had a grin on her face thinking about it.
It was then she noticed Regan was watching her, she was just about to look at him when he spoke. He called Vlad a pussy and asked if he gave her a hard time, while he was gone. “Relax chérie, I had everything under control, as always.” she said grinning. “Besides, if he would have given me a hard time, you would have found in somewhere in the pile of bodies our men dragged out.” She added with a chuckle.
She then looked up at him with a smile. “You know, I can take care of myself and keep myself safe, but it’s always good to know someone has your back, but consider me as your back-up too, I might be a woman, but you don’t want to piss me off, you know that.” She spoke to him. “So yeah, I’m pretty sure we got each other’s back, which is exactly what good leaders do.” She added.
The she looked back to the road and mere seconds later, she remembered they had to turn. “Right here, chérie.” She said. “So any clue what we are going to do or why we are heading to the city?” she asked grinning once more. “I like the guessing game.” She added.

Listening to her explain to him how strong she truely is and how she can take care of herself he remembers back. When it all started, he and his family were safe at his house, one night talking to his wife. She was too explaining how if it came down to it, she could take care of herself. But Regan, he refused to believe that. Because if he did, then he wouldn't be who he is. The moment he left to go on a supply run, he knew that she wasn't strong enough. That man that they let in, they saved, he killed his family and took everything he had. She wasn't strong enough, but Regan was. And if he would of stayed, expressing who he is and protecting that one he loved, then she'd still be there with him.
He smiled at Ivy, wanting to play the guessing game. "Ok then. I first thought we were gonna go somewhere and bang. But, I can see it's something that means more to you. Something that you've lost? Or maybe something from your childhood that helps you sleep at night? I'm gonna throw out my guess and say it's a framed picture of you and Ice Cube in some bar." He smiles at her as they pass a walker trapped under a motorcycle.
Ivy noticed the look on Regan his face, as she told him, she could take care of herself. She raised an eyebrow. “Care to explain that look on your face when I told you, i can take care of myself?” she asked.
Before he answered her, he tried guessing what the plan was. She rolled her eyes as he spoke about banging, if he wanted to fully win her over, that wasn’t the right approach. “Baby steps chérie, I know your little friend needs some attention, but take it down a notch.” She said with a grin and chuckle, making sure to say the word little a bit louder, then the rest of the sentence. She was surprised to hear the second part, where he said she lost something, then third part about the farm made her chuckle. “Nearly right.” She said adding another chuckle.
She then waited for a second. “The mission is to retrieve my horse, she means a lot to me and I should never have left her.” She spoke softly staring out the window, hoping her animal friend was ok. Then she looked back at Regan with a grin. “But if you help me good enough and my mood is good there might be some kissing, chérie.” It was nothing like Ivy to have feelings for someone else, but come one, she was only human, a cold one, but still human. She always played with men, but with Regan it was a bit different, she didn’t know yet, what she wanted with him or even what sort of relationship could grow.

He smiled as she warned him to take things down a notch. "If a took it down a notch I wouldn't be Regan motherfuckin Savage" looking over at her he then nodded at the reasoning for going to the city. To retrieve her horse. To Regan. That's fucking stupid. He wouldn't want to risk their lives for an animal that's probably dead. Even if they could handle it, they're wasting their times. And normally Regan would up and say what's on his mind. Tell her that it's a stupid idea and turn the truck around, but since he really wants things to work out with her, he's gonna give it a shot. Maybe she's not the only one with stupid ideas. "If the mood is good? Ha that's cute. I see that smile of yours. It's constantly lit up when i'm around. I think the mood will be just fine. Anyways, this horse. What about it? Why do you got a horse all the way out here?"
Ivy chuckled as Regan explained why he couldn’t tone himself down. “Well if you want to score, you’ll have too, but do it while staying true to yourself.” She said with a wink. He saw the look on his face after telling him they went to fetch her horse. She looked away and started out of the window, Ivy hated it when people didn’t understand the love for an animal. Diamond was literally the only thing she had, that connected her with the past. Sometimes it was good to let the past go, but she just wanted something to remind her life by, only part of it, keep the good memories, delete the bad ones.
She looked back at him as he flirted again, telling her he noticed the smile whenever he was around. Once more she smiled, but only slightly, she knew it was true, but wasn’t ready to admit it. “I know I’m cute, don’t have to tell me that.” She said with a grin. “I could say the same from you though, when I first met you, it seemed like you felt horrible, but after the while attack and spending time with me, you learned to love your live again.” Ivy added. “If you admit that, I might admit that the smiling is because of you.” She spoke throwing him another wink.
She then heard the question about the horse. “I really don’t want to explain that, let’s just say it’s important to me and I hope you are human enough to understand, I know we are two cold hearted people, but just bear with me on this one.” She explained. Then she started to recognize the road and knew they were getting closer. “We are getting closer, left there.” She said pointing while looking at him.
Ivy was happy he even asked at all, she had to admit they made a damn good team, maybe in the future even more than that. While looking at him, she finally admitted to herself that he looked damn good, but she knew she looked hot too, so it was evenly divided. But he was sort of sweet in his own way too, most assholes would just turn around and say screw the horse, which Ivy would react to with threats and maybe even killing them, but Regan kept driving, so he scored some point with Ivy. She softly placed her hand on his closet leg and looked at him. “Anyways thanks for driving me.” She said with a wink and giving him a slight rub, before removing her hand. This way she teased him and thanked him.

She made a point to bring up the fact that he had changed since showing up at Acer's gate. How he was in a dark period in his life. And now since teaming with her, leading Acer's remaining army, he's begun to love life again. It's true and not true. He never planned on dying. Even when walking up to Acer's that day, he was fully prepared to kill whoever he had to in order to survive. But the opportunity was too much to pass up. He would of took any opportunity like that without hesitation. Even if it made him desperate. Which probably did make him seem like he hated his life. Having to feed off of somebody else's success just to survive. It was a blow to his pride. But Acer kept things in check. If it wasn't for Acer, he would of never met the beauty in the passenger seat. Her smile drives him crazy. He's one cold son of a bitch, but he's a sucker for teases. And that's exactly what she's doing. Telling him to turn he felt her hand on his leg.
"I wouldn't of let you come out here all alone. You may be one tough bitch but I doubt you could take on a herd or a group alone." He said with a sly smile knowing she would probably try anyways. Slowing down on the street he speaks up again. "Where is this place?" Looking around surveying the area it seems safe. But you never know. Where there are no walkers, there may be survivors. Maybe even the same ones that destroyed the Mansion. Prepared for the worst he looks over at Ivy awaiting her response. Even then, he just realized that she would have to return on the horse. Making things a bit more difficult. The Horse could buck her off into a herd. She could be shot at with no cover. Regan seems iffy about the situation but the look in her eyes when she explained the importance of the horse allowed Regan to realize, she was gonna get it with or without his consent. So he might as well tag along and help out.
Ivy chuckled as Regan seemed to be concerned about her, which was kind of cute. He told her she couldn’t take a whole herd on her own. “Don’t underestimate me.” She said with a grin. “But you being a knight trying to protect me, is much appreciated.” She added with a wink.
She focused back on the road as Regan asked where the place was. She knew it wasn’t far anymore. “At the end of this road, you drive to the left, there we stop and walk across the little meadow, which will bring us to an old stable.” Ivy spoke. “Let’s just hope she’s ok.” She said worried, while looking down. She once more beat herself up for leaving her horse, it was well protected, but she should have never left her, in her mind, she could only hear herself saying how foolish she had been.
She then looked back at Regan and he had this sort of worried look on his face, but only slightly, while he looked around. “What’s on your mind chérie?” she asked looking at him.

Regan proceeds to make a left, and makes a stop as she asks what was wrong. Without hesitation, he scoffs with a sly smile. "Nothing". And with that he spots two walkers walking to the front of the car. He calmly hops out of the truck and pulls out his knife, jabbing one in the skull while kicking the other back. The other then comes at him as he drops the first and grabs him by the collar. He elbows it in the jaw and it's jaw becomes detached, and teeth fall to the ground. He sort of chucks before stabbing it in the brain. "All clear babydoll!" He says motioning for her as he began to walk towards the meadow. Thinking about where they'll be in a week. Or even two weeks. Sort of brain storming where to take the group from there. They're fortifying at the moment, but even then, what will be their purpose besides the obvious need to survive? All this goes through his mind as he looks back squinting his eyes at the sun glaring.

Ivy chuckled as Regan said there was nothing wrong. “Alright, then you don’t tell.” She said with a grin. “We’ve been together for quite some time now and you unlike me, a very bad liar.” She added still grinning. Just then they got pulled out of their conversation by two walkers, Ivy watched Regan jump out of the car. She knew he could handle it and she was right, mere moments later, he called her a babydoll and said it was clear.
Ivy slowly got out of the car and shook her head as she got out, so the wind would blow her hair in place, before slowly walking over to him moving like a true model, making the street her own short catwalk. “Nice one chérie.” She spoke with a smile. Ivy then leaned in so her lips where next to his air. “I like seeing men in full action.” She spoke softly before backing out.
She looked behind her and noticed the meadow. “Let’s go.” She said as she got her saber out of the holster which was connected to her belt. Then she started to walk over the grass, slowly making her way towards their destination.
It didn’t take long before they reached the old stable, Ivy her heart skipped a beat when she noticed the door was open. That could only mean someone opened it, she feared for the life of her horse. Ivy rushed forward and slowly opened the door. She saw her horse full of blood and some walkers chewing on her.
Ivy her world collapsed, she felt horrible, once more a mistake which she couldn’t reverse. She wanted to fall down on her knees and cry, but Ivy had lost so much already, so weirdly enough she was used to it. So Ivy did what she always had done and turned the anger into rage. “No!” she yelled furious running forward chopping off the head of a walker with a swing, before turning to the second one and pushing her saber through it’s head. Then she smashed the head with her foot and kept kicking against the rotten body. “Aaaaaargh!” she yelled full of anger and sadness.
She then calmed herself, kneeled down and petted her horse a couple times, making sure she picked a spot without any blood. She was glad the poor animal was dead already and wasn’t suffering. Ivy figured someone probably checked the stable, couldn’t get the horse out, since it would only listen to her and left it open, that would explain how the walkers got in. “You are in a better place now.” She spoke softly before resting her head on the horse her body, again picking a clean spot. But all this time Ivy didn’t let out a single tear, her cold heart made sure those emotions were kept hidden.
(Hope it’s ok I already brought them to the stables ;-), figured keeping the horse was a bit unlogical, it couldn’t have survived all this time ^^)
Regan waited up and allowed her to lead the way. Probably so he could take a good look at her ass while they made their way through the meadow to the stable. Where they find the door to be open with walkers chowing down on the horse. He looked over at Ivy and seen the devastation in her eyes. She was bottling up her emotions which isn't good.
She released her anger out on the walkers. Taking them out one by one and then proceeding to kneel down, hugging the horse. Regan didn't know what the horse meant to her, but it hit her hard. Even if she was trying hard to hide emotion from him, he could see that took her down a peg. Looking around he seen the lock was indeed shot off. A few empty shells laid on the ground. Somebody figured they could find something in a raggedy stable? Made no sense to him but some people figure the best things are always hidden.
"Hey.." He said, slowly, trying to break the saddness of the situation. "There's a house over yonder, let's go check it out." Attempting to not make the trip as useless as it seemed at the moment he motioned for her to leave the horse and follow. "Maybe we can find a blanket, cover that thing up." He said, trying to soften the mood.

Ivy raised her head from her horse as she heard Regan. He said he wanted to go check out a house, it was the last thing she wanted to do know and she was just about to tell him, when he added the part about the blanket.
She looked back at him, giving him a cold look. “Never call my horse it, she had a name.” she spoke slightly angry. She then realized he only wanted to help. “Sorry, I know you are just trying to help, which is kind.” She added while standing up from the ground. “It’s more than most people did for me, back in the days.” She spoke. “It’s good to know, I can count on someone.” She added. And the sentimental part stopped there.
“If the sons of bitches are inside the house, you don’t even want to know what I’m going to do to them.” she said slowly waking towards. Once next to him, she looked one last time at her horse. “Bye Diamond.” She spoke softly. Then turning around and with a snap her cold bitchy attitude got the upper hand again, again she did was she did best and turned all her hurt in anger.
(Maybe nice twist if there were actual people there, be it the ones that did it? xD)
Ivy snapped on Regan for calling the horse an it. Deep down, he didn't give a shit about the horse. But seeing her devastated made him care. She instantly apologized saying she's glad she could count on him to be there for her. He looks down at the ground and says nothing before heading off towards the house looking over his shoulder to see her catch up, threatening to brutalize the culprits if they're in the house.
The real reason why he wanted to go to the house besides trying to make some use of the trip was to remind himself of how strong he is. He wants to find somebody. Anybody. And make their day their last. And as they drew near, pushing their ways through the tree line he took a moment to survey the yard. No vehicles. No dead bodies. May be an unlooted treasure.
"Come on." He motions, walking up on the old wooden porch watching the swing rock back and forth against the wind, creaking in every motion. He then proceeds to turn the knob only to find it to be locked. No worries. He turns to pick up a brick that was probably used as a door stopper and threw it through the nearest window, shattering the glass and drawing noise for whatever to come to them.
After a few seconds of silence, Regan steps in with Ivy close behind and looks at the first sight in the living room. A noose tied to a broken ceiling fan hanging by a thread with a headless body sitting against the wall next to the entertainment system. A box of the same shells found at the stables and a shotgun laying at his feet. He looks over at Ivy figuring she could piece it all together. "This is the bastard that killed your fuckin horse. A little bitch that couldn't take this life nomore. Blasting his fucking brains on that wall. Pathetic. AND if he killed himself, there was nothing worth looting here. Look at his fuckin bag. It's empty. Goddamn it!" Pissed at the fact that they wasted the gas to come out here. His original intentions were to impress Ivy. But he soon realized that wouldn't get him anywhere good. As far as he's concerned, they risked their lives driving to the big city for a dead horse who wouldn't of had any meaning to him if it was alive. And the back up plan to come back with something useful from this house was a potential bust as well.
Just in case he was wrong he began to search the house.
Post by Ivy LeRoix on Mar 29, 2016 10:50:57 GMT -5
Ivy nodded as Regan motioned her to follow, actually she just wanted to go home, have some time for herself, but the anger she felt towards the people that had let the stable open, was much bigger. She rolled her eyes as Regan tried to turn the knob but it was locked. “Ugh people that lock doors in the apocalypse.” She spoke. Ivy then watched Regan throwing a brick through the closest window. “Well that’s one way to do it.” She spoke with al slight grin.
They waited a few seconds and listened for any noises, before entering the house. Once inside Ivy immediately noticed the body and how the brains where splashed against the wall, she also noticed the shotgun and knew that would probably be the dick that opened the lock. It was then she heard Regan saying the exact same thing. “Yeah I know.” She said. “Merde.” She added irritated and even more angry, not on Regan though, but on the piece of shit that sat against the wall. She heard Regan was angry too since there was nothing to loot. Ivy was better at controlling her anger, bottling it up and letting it explode when needed.
“Ugh, well let’s get back then, my revenge won’t happen here.” She said. “Let’s hope this crappy please has at least a blanket.” Ivy added, hoping she could at least cover her horse. Ivy followed close behind Regan searching the place.

Raiding the kitchen first he opened every cabinet and drawer in the room. Finding nothing of use except for a few old cans of spaghetti and a bag of flour. Not even stopping for that as his men back at the plant had gotten plenty of canned goods from the strip of houses. He looks under the sink to see plenty of cleaning supplies and a leash. Nodding his head he headed into the other rooms.
A bedroom, looking like a guest room as it looked quite plain. A small blanket neatly folded on the bed with a pillow was a plus. He grabbed the two things and walked back into the front of the house dropping them in front of the door. He then glanced over at Ivy and looked her up and down. He was in a mood. Pissed about wasting the trip away, but more importantly, he was confused in his own mind about her. He's one cold fucker. And so is she. So how come he seems such a powerful connection? He couldn't figure it out. Looking at her hot body wouldn't help. And the fact that she constantly picks up on his facial expressions, reading him like a book, doesn't help either.
Looking out the door towards the stable he begins to speak. "That blanket will cover the horse....just cover it and let's go. This trip was a waste." Being a dick was a part of his character. The harsh tone he must of gave her could cause ripple effects in this growing relationship of theirs, but like always, Regan couldn't care less. Or could he? The confusion continues. He's changing against his will. And he doesn't like it.
Ivy followed close behind Regan ,she noticed all the things from the cans to cleaning supplies and knew it wasn’t of any value. She sighed out of frustration as she walked outside waiting for Regan as he checked the last bedroom.
Mere seconds later she saw him come out with a blanket and pillow. “At least something of value.” She said with a little smile. But then he said something which pierced in her feelings like a blade in a heart. She felt something for Regan, didn’t know what exactly, but this comment pushed it down an notch. “There is no need to project your frustration on me, for me it’s was worth checking out.” She said stern.
Earlier she already noticed Regan thinking about stuff, she didn’t know why he was being a douche all of the sudden. If she felt the chemistry between them, then so did he, so why this sudden turn, Ivy would have to find out. “Since you think it’s a waste I’ll cover me horse alone, go back to the car, I’ll meet you there, douche.” She spoke. Then she shook her head and sighed in frustration. She walked closer to him and looked him in the eyes. “Look this trip cannot be a reason to start the fights between us again, there is no need for that, as leaders we need to stand together, I get your point, you think it was a waste, but god dammit understand mine too, for me it was important.” She spoke.
Then Ivy stepped back grabbed the blanket and made her way to the stables, to cover her horse. After taking a moment, saying one last goodbye, she waked out.
She storms out of the house telling him to wait in the car, obviously heated from his comment. He wasn't sorry. It was being real. A realist was always a big part of who Regan was. He seen the reality of situations. And the reality was, the trip was a waste for a stupid reason. He did it for what....to get a kiss on the cheek? He wasn't about to stay silent and keep his feelings bottled up. That's not who he is. And letting her walk away like that without hearing what's bouncing around his head wasn't who he was either.
He quickly stepped out the door seeing she wasn't too far and yelled out, "Hey Ivy!". He stepped off the porch and walked up to her. "As leaders, we come to disagreements. And as your fellow leader, it's my job to speak up when it's necessary....the only thing we need to worry about is that group of men back at the plant. Not some horse. I don't care if it meant something to you. If you were as dark and ruthless as you claim to be, you wouldn't of wanted to risk out lives coming out here. Every single fucking trip we take could very well be our last. I'd be damned if I let it be just for a dead horse. That's cold, but that's the truth. That was stupid on your part." The waste of a trip wasn't all that got Regan fired up. The fact that he's feeling for a woman is what's beating him up. The last woman he had ever loved was killed, because of him being merciful. Along with his kid. They were murdered. That hit him hard. It made him weak for weeks and he barely made it out of that state of depression. He can't slip into it again. And Ivy was a one way ticket. He had to distance the relationship.

Just as she got back out from saying goodbye she ran back into Regan. She heard him calling her name, Ivy rolled her eyes and turned around facing him. “What?” she asked in an annoyed tone. She sort of got a lecture from him. She was furious as she heard all the things she said.
“That’s enough!" she yelled as he finished his last sentence. “Don’t question how cold I can be, I don’t care for anything, the horse was the last part of humanity I had left in my heart, that’s gone now, so it’s not a fucking great time to say things like this, unless you want me to remind you how cold I can be.” She said angry while looking at him.
“Of course I knew it was a mistake and at first I didn’t even want to come back, I just needed closure, that’s all.” She spoke in same fiery tone. “And yes it might hit me more then I excepted , but god dammit, all of us slip away once in a while, just like you did back at the plant, at least I have the guts to say what’s wrong, while you can’t even talk about it.” She yelled while stepping closer, making it so their noses nearly touched. “But yeah thanks for the fucking wake up call.” She added, When Ivy was so angry, she just lost the cute French accent, but she didn’t mind, she had to let it all out.
She felt so angry, but yet so happy that someone told her she was losing her cold heart, it gave her a wake-up call, she knew she had to stay strong. She wasn’t that angry at Regan, but also part at herself, but she let Regan have everything, including the anger she felt for letting her cold heart melt. She made sure he could see the anger, the fire in her eyes, since she was standing so close to him.
“We fought so fucking hard, we both did, I’m sure you had a rough past, then we fought again to win the group over, I’m not going to let this all go to waste, because of this stupid trip, I’m over it now you do the same.” She yelled. “Cause we make a good damn team!” she added.
Then something weird happened, it was as if Ivy didn’t control herself. Just like that she kissed him pushing her tongue slowly inside his mount, making sure he could feel how good she could kiss, before slowly backing away. “I…euhm…” she said pausing, no clue what just happened. “Think it was then anger taking over, let’s just go.” She said walking off wondering what just happened. Was it to make up for the sad feelings? Was it because she liked him? Or to thank him, for waking her up? She had no clue.
She was furious. And Regan didn't expect anything good to come out of this. His mind was somewhere else. He was seeing red. And as she yelled out him, all he wanted to do was curse up a storm and leave. But as her tone softened, saying they shouldn't let this trip ruin what they got, she leaned in and kissed him. Made out with him actually. Which he didn't expect. Not at this moment. While they were screaming at each other. But it happened, and he loved it. Closing his eyes, his darkness was lit up with fire in the form of Ivy. If he could smile with a mouth full of her tongue, he would.
But then, she stopped, with a confused look on her face. The classic "I don't know what came over me" act was given as Regan stood there with his mouth still open. She began to walk off, probably thinking the same thing. What was the reason for it? Would it lead to anything? Why was it so sudden? These questions were burned in his mind, but his rage, still simmering deep within was popping up. Part of him was still upset about the trip and even more upset at the little tease. But the other part, never wanted to give that up. What just happened. That connection, and sexual tension she just gave him. He hadn't felt it in years and honestly, wanted more. In that instant, it drove him insane that she was walking away.
He didn't say a word. Instead, he just followed her, staring down at the ground, thinking of what that kiss could of meant for their future. Maybe the trip wasn't such a failure. For him, he knew for sure, that the woman walking away from him right now, gave him a feeling of happiness. A feeling he hasn't truly felt in years. Yet the coldest, most dark hearted woman he's ever met was the one to give it to him.

As Ivy walked back to the car, she thought about the kiss. ‘Why de fuck did I do it?’ she thought as she shook her head. Then a grin came on her face. ‘have to admit it felt pretty special and good.’ She thought.
Her mind was thinking about a lot of things, but the thing that always came back was on how good the kiss felt, how right, it was as if someone finally melted her cold heart. Part of her liked that, that part gave her happiness, but different happiness then when she conquered a place or got more men in her army or even different from when they found the power plant, it as happiness which only could be given by butterflies in the stomach. But the other part just wanted to cry, cry over how she was losing her strong side, her cold side. ‘Love and coldness, I can combine it, I can pull that off.’ She thought, but deep down, she knew one side had to go and leave her body. But for once since long, she rather wanted to givei n to the love side. But she wasn't sure how she felt, she had to find out.
She wondered if it was love? It had to be, but it could also be passion, but that felt different, she was sure, this was way more. ‘I can only know by trying again.’ She told herself inside her mind. But that wasn’t an option, cause Regan didn’t say a thing, she had no clue how he felt.
Mere seconds later they reached the truck. Ivy turned around and looked into Regan his eyes as he was slowly walking past her. “So?” she started not knowing what else to say. “Euhm…” she added. “I…..” but finishing a sentence didn’t seem to work.
So she tried it in a different way, the way she mostly used around guys, by teasing. “Did you like it?” she asked trying to grin, but feeling awkward while doing it. She only felt awkward because she feared Regan woudln't feel the same, but she was sure he would lie about the truth, lucky for her, she could read his real feelings through his eyes.
