Having passed out all the available radios and getting everyone into position west of the Johnson City "Safe Zone", Joseph looked out from his rooftop perch and whispered a short, plaintive prayer of good luck to both Seth and Skylar, who were ready to take the safe zone walls down, releasing the flood of walkers from within its' concrete stanchions away from Johnson City....hopefully away from Johnson City, he mused, glancing over at Kara. Both of them had their rifles and ammunition at the ready; for Joseph, a .44 lever-action, for Kara, an SR-556 assault rifle.
Pointing off in the distance, Joseph said to her, "If any of those walkers come west, they'll likely come down that main drag there, the one that runs past the Hampton Inn; hopefully, the topography of the land around here will funnel the walkers east," kneeling down to pick up his radio and switch it on, "away from Johnson City." Keying the radio's mic, he spoke. "Seth, this is Joseph; we're in position on this end. Go ahead and drop the walls," adding after a quiet pause, "Good luck, buddy." Releasing the mic, he looked over at Kara and said, "Only a matter of time now..."

Dean as nervous as hell, not only about the plan, but also about Nick being alone. He heard Joseph over the radio, telling Seth he was in position. Dean himself was also on shooting duty, but at a different place.
He took a deep breath and grabbed the radio. “Dean, here, also in position.” He spoke softly. “Be careful all and try to stay safe.” He added. Then he waited a brief second before pushing the button again. “Dean out.” He spoke. Then he let go of the button and put the radio in the pocket of his pants. He then raised the rifle, Seth gave it to him earlier, since Dean was by far the best shot. On the ground where some other guns, a sniper for when someone was in trouble and some handguns.
Releasing the mic, he looked over at Kara and said, "Only a matter of time now..."
Hearing the man's words, Kara looked over and tried to remember his name.....Joseph, one of the others said, wasn't it? Isn't that his name? she thought to herself. Coughing to get his attention, she said, "Hey....Joseph, right? Sorry for slapping you earlier in the police station, alright?" trying to lighten things as they waited for Seth and Skylar to get ball rolling on their plan, adding with a slightly impish grin, "Just uhh...just don't ever point a gun at me, okay?"
Successfully locking the chain around the hitch Seth sets the handy bolt cutters to cut the chain after they get the ball rolling in the bed of the truck before looking on at the peaceful streets ahead. Tuning out the snarling of the hundreds of walkers behind the wall. He takes in a deep breath thinking about how any minute now, these streets are gonna be the most dangerous streets in the world. "Seth you ready." Seth looks on at Skylar who's poking his head out the window of the truck.
"Yeah bud. One sec." He turns around to see the unstable wall once last time before they tore it down. Hearing the others over the walkie in their positions he shakes his head and takes a deep breath before hopping in the back of the truck with the bolt cutters and his M4A1 at his feet. "Alright! Let's tear this baby down!" With the thumbs up, Skylar floors it. The chain reaching it's distance before pulling on the wall and in no time the wall successfully comes crashing down with only one wooden post from the instead staying up.
And out comes the walkers. With no space between them, the compact crowd begins to poor out onto the streets as Seth looks on in awe. The massive wave is enough to take out any town it steps foot in. Skylar slows down after dragging the wall a bit while Seth sits on the tailgate, using the bolt cutters to cut the chain releasing the wall from their grip with the only thing following them being Johnson Cities deadly horde.
Seth raises the walkie to his mouth and presses on the button. "The horde is on the go." He managed a smile before pressing on the button again. "Seth out."

"Alright, I won't," Joseph replied, lowering his lever-action down for a moment to look at Kara; before he could say anything else, Seth came over the radio....
Seth raises the walkie to his mouth and presses on the button. "The horde is on the go." He managed a smile before pressing on the button again. "Seth out."
"Fun time's over with," he whispered, bringing his lever-action back up; grabbing his own radio, he spoke. "Alright, everyone; horde's out and on the streets. Hopefully, with the landscape as it is, Seth and Skylar can lead them away like Pied Piper. If not, we'll mop up any stragglers that come down this way. Good luck, everyone. Joseph out." Setting his radio down, he looked over at Kara, who was staring down the sights of her own rifle and said, "Well, its begun, Kara." Looking back down the sights of his own weapon, he began whispering quietly a favorite quote of his from the Scriptures, a quote from Ephesians that he often quoted in times of strife and struggle...."Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil....For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand....."

Nick had been listening to everything being said on the radio but he hasn't been fiddling with it. Looking over at Sisa holding the other rifle as she looked down the street for any sign of the undead. Meanwhile Nick was getting a little worried about Dean as time went by. Biting his lower lips worryingly before finally reaching into his backpack for the walkie talkie that was on a different channel for Dean and him. Pressing the button in it before speaking into it. "Dean! How are you? Sorry if I'm interrupting." Nickiah asked awkwardly while looking down the road for any sign of walkers. Flinching a little as Sisa fired a shot into the skull of a lone Walker coming from around the street.
(Ok so their was a mix up... Nick is going to end up kidnapped by waltonville)

Dean fired one shot after the other, for now he made sure not one of them passed. He just then heard Nick yelling from their walkies, they had found those way before trip and used that to communicate instead of the other ones.
He shot a couple more walkers until none were standing. Then he grabbed the walkie and pushed the button. “Hey Nick, I’m fine, how are things there.” He spoke. Then he smiled. “I’m I hear your voice.” He then noticed the next wave. “Sorry can’t talk, another wave incoming, talk to you soon ,stay safe.” He spoke in a hurry. “Dean out.” He added. Right before he wanted to put the walkie down, he pushed the button again. “I love you, Dean out.” He spoke. Then he put the walkie in his pocket and grabbed his gun, immediately shooting the incoming walkers.
Looking down the sights of her rifle, Kara could see the first scattered waves of walkers shambling down the street towards them; while it seemed that Seth's plan had worked, they weren't safe yet, she mused. Hearing Joseph firing his own rifle with what seemed like calmness and precision, Kara did likewise, trying to calm herself down enough to not disrupt her sighting. Taking a bead on one walker, she took a deep breath, blew it out slowly through pursed lips and pulled the trigger, dropping the walker with a head shot. One down, who knows how many to go, Kara whispered as she began dropping additional walkers in the same manner...
Lined up the truck slowly follows the road with Seth in the back, shooting at the occasional walker's trying to break free from the crowd in the front. "Come on!" taunting the hungry eyed demons in order to make sure he's still what they're after. He then backs up against the window and yells out to Skylar in the driver's seat. "Hey Sky, check to see if we got any tunes!".
"On it." He opens up the glove box to reveal a CD case. Skylar smiles saying,"Oh hell yeah." Taking out a Guns N' Roses CD, he pops it in the player and Paradise City begins to play. Turning it all the way up, Seth looks back and smiles. "Classic!"
Walker after walker chomping it's jaws up and down, trying their mightiest to catch up with the truck but failing to speed up as the truck cruises through the city. Seth stands up and takes out a scraggler with a single head shot before kneeling down and hitting his finger on the button. "Listening to classic rock....clearing the city. This is a good day.....I ca.." he drops the walkie and instantly jerks back at the sound of a gunshot coming from the street. He turns to see a man standing in front of the police station. Must of been the man that Joseph had locked in that room. The shot didn't miss. Skylar is dead. Seth wastes no time in shooting the guy where he stood. However, the truck not being steered crashes hard into a light pole. Causing Seth to fall hard in the truck bed. He quickly comes to realization what's happening and sees the crowd rushing towards the truck. Being out in the open isn't good. He quickly jumps down from the bed and barely manages to climb into the drivers side, pushing Skylar's dead weight to the side. And very soon, the truck becomes surrounded. The entire heard stopping at the one spot filling the street and sidewalk, covering any blind spots or possibilities of escape, leaving Seth Corbin stranded with no way of communicating with the people of Hampton...

If there's one beauty to using a lever-action, Joseph mused in-between shots, it requires you to take your time using it, dropping walker after walker after walker; nearby, he could hear a few of the others in their group firing as well, taking down walkers as they continued shambling down the boulevard. Must've been more of 'em corralled up that we thought, Joseph thought as he switched on his radio, having had to pause to reload....time to check on Seth.
"Seth, this is Joseph; how 'ya copy, over?" Joseph said; he repeated it several times, each time hearing only static. After one or two more tries, he turned the radio off, figuring Seth and Skylar were probably in some hollow to the east of Johnson City where the radio signals couldn't reach. After making sure he rifle was reloaded and ready once more, he resumed firing at the oncoming hordes, figuring that if Seth heard him over the radio, he'd respond once he had an opportunity to do so...

Nickiah smiled a little on the other end of the radio before opening his mouth to reply. "Go- Oh fuck" The young man began sweet but then his voice yelled in fear before the walkie talkie was quickly put into his pocket. Biting his lip before stabbing his ice ax into the skull of a nearby undead that had been coming up behind the two. Issa was a bit startled by it but continued shooting at the incoming walkers. Slowly the two walked backwards from their position as the undead seemed to come in faster then expected. Shooting down another Walker after another before it started to be alarming for the two.
(Will have the two break off in different paths so Nick can get away and end up kidnapped/knocked out and kidnapped in some way or another)

Dean was firing his gun and because of that didn’t hear Nick. He fired and fired shooting one walker after the other. Some moments later things seem to be more quiet, he figured it wouldn’t take long before the next wave would arrive. So first he reload his gun and then he grabbed the walkie, not the one from him and Nick but the other one.
He pushed down the button. “Jo, Seth, anyone, how are things?” he asked. “Not a single was able to pass here, so guess I’m doing ok.” He added. Then he let go of the button. Next he grabbed the personal walkie of him and Nick. “Nick, this is Dean, how are things with you.” He spoke and let go of the button.
Breathe....shoot, Kara whispered, breathe....shoot. An almost autonomous, metronomic pace had enveloped Kara as she took aim at walker after walker, dropping one about every ten seconds or so. There are times where I'm glad I qualified as expert on the rifle back in BLET training, she mused as she dropped another walker with a well-placed head shot....this is one of those times.
Suddenly, she felt someone tap her on the shoulder; it was Joseph, who knelt down next to her. "Kara, switch places with me here," he said. "I need you to check that side street to the east and the back street behind us; I'll watch the street in front of us. Now go!" Getting up from her perch, she trotted over and took up position to watch the side streets near them, as well as the street behind them. Here we go again, she thought as she once again took aim and began watching the area for any straggling walkers that came by.
Turning the key over and over, the ignition dies out every time leaving the truck a resting piece of junk as Seth lays his head back in the seat looking out the windows seeing no sign of sunlight. Walker's rocking the diesel back and forth with their faces mushed against the windows all tries to gnaw their way to the closet meal in Johnson City. Seth then searches his pockets for the walkie and realizes quickly that he had left it in the back. Looking back he can see it, with no way of getting to it. "FUCK!" He kicks the side of the dash before sliding down in his seat with his hand covering his mouth, taking in the scenario hard.
"So this is it......son of a BITCH!" He takes a minute to look at the fallen Skylar. Checking his body to make sure the shot was in the head so he wouldn't be attacked. Luckily it was as unfortunate the situation was. He then searches Skylar for a radio, hoping he had grabbed one despite him telling him he wouldn't need one. And to no avail. Seth trying so hard to convince himself that there's still a chance begins to believe the doubt in the back of his mind. Thinking about the people of Hampton, Alexis, Joseph, Dean, Nick, Sisa......he grabs Skylar's revolver and holds it up to the bottom of his chin with a look of intensity in his eyes. A war going on in his head. Thinking about the disappearance of his son and his brother. Watching his wife be eaten alive. Watching his old group be shot down. Living for so long without speaking a word. Now surrounded with no way out.

Nickiah and Sisa both kept walking back from the walkers as the two tried to shoot as many as they could. Keeping a nerve racking closeness to the undead until the two reached the end of the street that split in two opposite directions. Dark brown eyes watched as Sisa reloaded her gun before firing at a couple of walkers with elegant accuracy. Looking down to his left to see a few abandon cars and to his right an empty street that would allow an easier path back to the Hotel.
Biting his lower lip as it was pure impulse taking over the young man. Yelling and screaming louder to try and catch the hordes attention before running to the nearest car. Shattering the glass of each of the car's windows catching the undead attention much to the dismay of his friend. "Sisa go back to the hotel! I will distract them."
It wasn't as of the young mother had much of a choice. Nick was determined to get this shit storm away from their home and Sisa had much more to live for. Taking one last glance over his shoulder to see the raven black hair of Sisa's whip behind her as she ran off in the opposite direction. If he had been screaming louder then maybe he wouldn't of caught Deans voice on their personal walkie talkie. Pressing the button, bringing it to his lips as he broke yet another car window on his run away from the mess. "Big problem. Walkers too much. Sisa heading back to hotel. I'm leading them away." Thankfully Nick had taken track in high school and his work made endurance necessary. Despite this his words still came out nervous and jumbled. Putting the device back where it belonged before coming to the conclusion that he couldn't run forever.
Letting out a sigh of relief when he spotted an actual running vehicle. The thought that it could be owned by unkind company was considered. Fear and panic was taking control of Nick, Dealing with the living was easier then the dead at this point. Catching the driver off guard from his nap with the sound of his gun firing at side windows glass first. Killing the what man he was just going to hope had been a bandit with another shot aimed at the head. Gasping a little as a sharp pain was felt in Nick's right shoulder. Turning around to see the dead man's companion, a thin teenage girl who looked as if she hadn't eaten in a while holding a knife in a shaking grip. Strange how easily it was to raise his gun to pull the trigger just to hear the click. No bullets? Asking himself that before hitting the girl over the head with the gun. Knocking her down flat on her side. Taking seat in the drivers seat after removing the bandits body not allowing his mind to process what he had just done in the heat of everything. Hearing the hordes groans as they came closer just as the car moved. Shaking a little in the drivers seat as he steered. A salty tear running down his cheek as all of it settled. The pain in his shoulder having no idea how harmful the wound was. Watching a few of the walkers begin to eat the bodies in the rear view mirror. More tears followed as Nick sped down the road avoiding the wrecks honking the horn in an attempt to draw the dead. Eventually without looking he hit something hard. Thankfully his seatbelt kept him in his seat as did the airbag that had knocked the already woozy young man.
(Ok so Nick is knocked out and bleeding. Ready to be kidnapped)

Having switched places with Kara, Joseph continued his steady firing pace, stopping only to reload his lever-action; as he was doing that, his radio crackled....it was Dean over the radio:
He pushed down the button. “Jo, Seth, anyone, how are things?” he asked. “Not a single was able to pass here, so guess I’m doing ok.”
Picking up his radio, he waited for Dean to finish before speaking. "Dean, Joseph here; Kara and I are doing okay on this side; no walkers passed our location, over," pausing to wave in Dean's general direction for a moment before adding, "I haven't heard from Seth, though; he and Skylar may be in a position where the radio signals can't reach; these are line-of-sight, so they may be somewhere where the signals' blocked. I'll keep trying to reach him, out." Switching off his radio, he looked at Kara, a pensive look about him. "Seth should've gotten somewhere so that he could let us know what's going on on his end," he said quietly. "I'd be more worried right now, but," pausing to drop another walker with a quick rifle shot, "we have more important things right now to worry about, you know?"
The group of men continue driving towards Johnson City in their H2. Each with their heads against the glass looking for any survivors and or settlements outside the city. Walton's orders had been to clear Johnson City, sweeping it of it's supplies and finding any groups to report to Walton.
Randy: Hey up ahead!
They spot a wrecked vehicle, ran right into the side of a tank just sitting there on the very outside of the town. Walkers slowly inching closer to surround the stranded being. If he's even alive. Looks to be out like a light. The men slow down and all hop out with combat knives, taking out the dozen walkers before checking out the crash site. Berry, one of the bigger men, pries the door open before pulling out the young man.
Berry: He's got a stabbed wound and he's knocked out but he's alive.
Randy: Alrighty, let's bring him in.
Toby: What about the city?
Randy: Do you see that? It's filled with dead heads. We're lucky we're even coming back with him at this point.
With that they all nod their heads and load Nick up in the back seat before turning around and heading back the way they came.
"Yeah, I hear ya'," Kara replied as they continued clearing the street and nearby side street of walkers; as they continued along, she thought about what Joseph had said about the radios. "Pardon me asking," she began, "but police radios aren't line-of-sight; I should know that, having once been a sheriff's deputy." As he looked over at her, she continued, pausing every so often to drop another walker, either with her rifle or with one of her throwing knives. "Most police radios operate on the UHF band; the signals bounce off the upper layers of the atmosphere, which means you can be in a deep, dark hole and still pick up a signal from there." After dropping another walker, she added, "Seth should've answered you by now; something's gotta be wrong..."

Hearing Kara's comments gave Joseph pause; if what she was saying panned out, Seth should've gotten back to them by now, he thought. Whistling over to her to follow him, Joseph got on the horn to Dean. "Dean, this is Joseph; we may have a problem with regards to Seth. Kara and I are heading over to your position; we'll be there in a second." Whistling over to Kara once again, he said, "C'mon, Kara; looks like Plan A went out the window. Hopefully, we can come up with a Plan B here in short order."

Dean waited impatiently for someone to answer. Jo was the first one to reply, telling Dean, He and Kara where doing ok and that n walker passed. Dean noticed the wave and it made him smile, he waved back. Dean then heard about Seth, He then placed the walkie back at his mouth and pushed down the button. “Great, keep it up and stay safe.” He spoke. “And I hope Seth is doing ok, if you want I can go check it out?” Dean added before letting go of the button
It was then it hit dean that Nick hadn’t replied. Just as he was about to grab the walkie, he heard Nick, but first the sound of glass that broke. When he spoke about his plan, fear rushed through Dean his body. “Are you being overrun, just stay safe, I’ll come get you!”Dean yelled. But he didn’t hear a reply at all. “Nick?” Dean asked louder almost yelling. “Nicky please come in?” he asked worried as he felt his eyes getting watery. “Please?” was his last word, before falling to his knees.
Dean feared the worst, but he couldn’t just sit there, he pushed the dark feeling away, wiped of his tears and stood back up. Maybe Nick was still there, but just not able to talk. He grabbed the main walkie. “Joseph, come in, Nick is trouble, he’s alone, leading a horde away, Sisa is on her way back to the hotel.” Dean said under his breath from emotion. “I need to go check on him.” Dean said stern. “So that leaves you and Kira to take care of Seth, is that ok?” he asked letting go of the button. He didn’t wait for an answer but started to collect his stuff. It was then he heard Joseph on the radio telling there was a problem and that they were headed towards him, so he decided to wait.
