Abby had t seen Jay in awhile, and she wondered how long he would be able to keep the cranking up. She looked at Darah," haven't seen him for a little while, but do you think he can stand all the cranking, maybe we should get Brian, or Sam?" She glanced around and the. Shrugged," hell we could even get Thad, Max went up to give him a break from the tower."
Abby wasn't even sure if any of the men she said would even want to help. They needed someone else to work the crank and grind the wheat besides Louis.

Max left the porch and went to the tower. He looked up above at the man, sitting in silence. Thad probably wanted to be alone, but he didn't have to be. Sarah knew what he was going through, Amber did as well. He needed to be with people, not sulk up in the cold. Max aighed and cleared his throat alerting the man.
"Thad, time to come down. I'm your relief, you can come down," Max said looking up at him.
"I still have a few more hours. I was posted till sun down," Thad said calling down. "I'd like to see it out."
"Well I'm you relief. Let's come one down."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm sure. You need it. Head inside, get a warm drink, some food. Rest a little. I can handle it from here."
Thad nodded and Max waited for him to climb down. He smiled and took the gun from him, putting the strap around his body. Max climbed up the ladder, making sure to be careful with his leg. He couldn't bend it with his brace on, so he had to be careful. At the top he took his seat, resting the gun on the table.
----------
Back in the kitchen Margret started getting bowls and other things they would need out. The grinders were hooked to the edge of the table, bowls underneath them. She smiled at Abby as Sarah as they spoke.
"Thad's the big handsome guy right? Always with the blonde sulking girl. What's her name Bethany? Betty? She was in the basement, maybe she wants to help? It doesn't take much to grind, plus you girls need to build muscle anyway." She chuckled a bit, "can't let all these boys run the gun show now can we?" Margret was a farm wife, she was not girly. She worked hard all her life, was strong when she was younger, still was slightly.
"Why don't we call Becky up hun, she should bond with us girls."
Sarah stared at what Margaret said, her mouth gaped open a bit. Did she not know? Sarah glanced at Abby, for help. She moved over to the sink and made a long process of washing her hands. She mumbled a bit low," I don't think that's a good idea." Sarah figured if Becky was still down in the basement, she was hiding. The girl needed to own up to what she had done and atone for it. Thad seemed like a good man, he deserved her honesty, people made mistakes, but it was how you handled the mistakes that showed your character. Right now, to Sarah, Becky didn't have much to show.
Abby watched the older woman gathering supplies. It was her words that struck her though and the look Sarah shot her. Abby glanced at Louis who was standing there with a " I'm not getting involved look on his face" . No help from him. Abby heard what Sarah said as she washed her hands. She felt bad for her and the older woman who seemed a bit lost. Honestly, Abby just figured Margaret was trying to help and didn't mean to cause any issues. Abby glanced at Margaret," um, Becky and Sarah do t exactly see eye to eye on things, might not be a good idea."

Thad came into the house, looking at all the people. Margret stsred at him, then Sarah, "so there's some beef between all of you. You should all figure it out." She looked around. "Drama brings down these kind of things, people get hurt."
Thad nodded. "Has anyone seen Becky I need to talk to her."
"She's down stairs," Louis said pointing down the hall.
Thad nodded walking down the steps to the cellare. He closed the door behind him. It was going to be a long talk.
Becky jumped at the sound of the door slamming shut. She turned to see Thad and her expression relaxed. She walked up to him, wrapping her arms around him.
"hey babe. Thought you were on watch all day, you get out early for good behaviour? I was just about to have some lunch. Thought a pickle jar may accidently may not be counted, was going to share with you." She smiled as she spoke.
Thad was stiff and rigid, not hugging her back. She went up to give him a kiss but he simply pulled his face away. Becky let go, stepping back. "what's wrong," she asked looking up at him, "don't like pickles?"
"Cut the crap," Thad said loudly, "I know what you did. Sarah told me. She told me everything. Why did you lie to me? You should have told me, I didn't need to find out like that." He was agry, vein bulging.
Becky pressed herself up agaisnt the wall at the spund of his voice. She shook, looking down. "I'm sorry Thad, it was a drunken mistake. I regret it, it makes me sick just thinking about it. I should have told you, but I couldn't, I couldn't hurt you."
"It's to late. You beyond hurt me. You lost my trust, my respect."
"Thad please, it was an accident, I was drunk, you had been gone moths. I thought you were dead Thad. I didn't think I'd ever see you again. He was there, and it just happened."
"It's not that. I can look past the cheating. I get you made a mistake. It's the lieing, to my face, hiding it behind your back. All the trickery bullshit," Thad said slamming his hand agaisnt the wall. "I found out from someone I barely knew, the whole farm knew but me. Why cpuldn't you be the one to Fucking tell me."
"Thad, I'm sorry. I just couldn't. Every time I did I would see you face. I didn't want you angry or sad."
"I'm beyond angry and sad Becky. You're acting like a little child. Own up to it, or get the fuck out. We have no room for all this lieing crap. We can't afford betrayal."
"I'm not a child Thad," Becky yelled, "I didn't want to hurt you. I was doing it for you. Plus I didn't even know if you loved me anymore. It was different when you came back, you were different. And you had this arm candy now, the skinny bitch. You two all buddy buddy, like something didn't happen over at that church.
"you know nothing would happen. Don't try to flip this. You were the one who wronged, not me."
"I'd done Thad, fucking done. You come at me like this, I said I was sorry, end of story. It was a mistake, I didn't want to hurt you," Becky said turning away to walk up the stairs. she reached the first step and felt Thad behind her.
"no you don't get to do this. Get the fuck back here, you're not running away, not this time. Come down here and own up."
"okay I was guilty alright. I knew you would blow up like this, you always have. It was nothing, but you won't get over it. I did it to save face with you. There are you happy? That make you feel big now? You were right I was wrong. You win."
"I can't not like this. If you're going to act like this, then I'm done," Thad said turning around, "we're done. Go find someone else to suck their cock, go know you're good at it."
"Thad wait," Becky called, "we can keep talking just...." Thad had left, he was going up the stairs to pack his bag and leave. Maybe he just needed to clear his head, he didn't know. For now he just needed to blow off some steam. He grabbed a Rifel and hopped on the bike. Revaing the engine he tore out the gates and down the road.
Abby heard the door and the heavy footsteps. She was shocked as hell to see Thad walk in. She should have known he would come looking for Becky after Max relieved him from the tower. Louis told him where to find her and Abby caught Sarah staring at him. The look on Sarah's face was one Abby had seen before. She was heart broken. She felt sorry for him, for this, for what had happened. Abby grabbed Sarah's hand," stop, don't do that to yourself, he needed to know."
Abby glanced around at Louis and Margaret, unsure if they should be in here, it wasn't like they were intentionally eavesdropping. Abby picked up one of the grain baskets and Looked at Louis, " go get Jay and tell Brian to come help too, he can sit and crank if it's too much for Jay." Abby didn't know what else to do.
Thad came back up and she did her best not to look at him.
Sarah did though. She saw the hurt on his face as he left the room. She heard the bike start up and ran to look out the front door. He left. God she didn't mean for him to leave, but what had she expected? Had t she been ready to leave herself? Sarah walked back into the kitchen," he left." She spoke softly and looked at Abby," I didn't mean for him to leave, I just wanted him to know the truth, he didn't deserve to be lied to." Sarah leaned against the counter , staring at the baskets on the floor, when she heard foot steps coming up the basement steps.
Abby glanced at Sarah, as she heard the footsteps herself and prayed this didn't go badly.
Becky lowered to the ground when Thad stormed out. She felt tear on her cheeks. She had been crying and didn't even know it. She sat there, quietly calling. Every so often she whiped her tears on her sleeve.
When the sound of the bike went up over the farm she knew what it was. Thad was leaving. Anger flashed over her, how dare he just run away, abandon everything.
Becky stomped up the steps and saw Sarah her eyes narrowed. All she saw was red, and she lunged.
She pushed Sarah to the ground bringing her fist down on her.
"This is you fault. You did this. Now he's gone. You little bitch, no wonder Charles cheated on you. You stuck up go loving ass," she screamed at her
Sarah saw Becky come up the steps and through the basement door. She wanted to get out of there, away from her as soon as she saw her. She pushed of the counter as Becky spoke and was caught off guard as Becky lunged at her.
Sarah lost her footing and went down. Becky hit her, punched her, once, twice. She tried to push her off, and block any more blows. She bucked her hips and shoved Becky off. She had been hit before, she remembered it instantly. Sarah pulled herself over, trying to get up and making it to a corner in the kitchen cabinets.
That's when she heard it. A shriek, like a war cry. She thought it was Becky coming at her again and covered her head.
Abby was startled at how fast Becky went for Sarah. It too her a few seconds to react and that was long enough for Becky to get a few hits on Sarah. Becky was yelling at Sarah, calling her names and blaming her for what was happening.
Abby lost it. She charged in and grabbed Becky by the hair of her head, screeching like a banshee. "Don't you fucking touch her!" Abby slammed Becky's face down into the table," it ain't her fault you're a fucking whore who can't keep your mouth to yourself!" Abby lifted her by her hair and slung her towards the hall. She released her hair and charged after her, fist coming in to connect with Beckys face," not her fault you can't own up for what you did ! She's twice the woman you are!" Abby shoved Becky and kept charging and shoving her til she sent her ass out the front door and flying backwards off the porch," keep the fuck outta here til you grow up and learn how to act! Sarah wouldn't have told him if you had been woman enough to handle your business!"
Abby knew Max would see her and did t care. She went back in and shut the front door, the wooden one and locked it. She went back to the kitchen and glanced at Margaret," help me with her." She got Sarah up with her help and sat her down in one of the chairs." You alright?" Sarah nodded, but it was clear she was shook up.
Brian saw Becky go flying off the porch. He quickly stood, looking from the crying blonde to Abby. Others were already gathered, looking from the barn or the yard. He could hear whispers already spreading.
"What the hell is going on her," Brian asked looking at Abby as she went inside. "That's quite enough. You don't need to hurt her further. Look at how both of you are acting. You're a leader, and you're a respected member, now act like it both of you."
"Becky pick yourself up, dust off. Abby, go cool off inside. This has gotten out of hand, God forbid a hoarde show up right now because of it."
He said through the door. "Now what happened, what did she do? Surely it can't be bad enough to throw the poor girl out. She would struggle out there."
Becky kept going her fists slamming into the arms of Sarah. She was angry, steaming. She didn't know what she wanted, she just wanted Sarah hurt. All she saw was red, hot anger as she slammed down harder. She didn't care about anything, what people would think, her action. She didn't want Sarah dead, just her hurt, like how she hurt Thad and her.
Her hair yanked back hard after a loud scream. She felt someone slam her face against the table. Her vision went black as it happened, pain the only sensation. She tasted blood as she was yanked up again by her hair. Her nose was bleeding, broken, it would swell badly. Her one eye was blackened, starting to swell as well.
She felt Abby shove her again and again. Becky hit the ground hard, her ass hitting the dirt. Her elbows scraped the ground, and her head bounced back. She laid there not getting up as Abby spoke. Becky was to leave? She couldn't, she would die out there. She was a terrible shot, and Amber and the others had been the only reason she lived so far.
She coughed, up the blood that was in her mouth, rolling to her side. She heard the door slam and just cried once again.
Bethany rolled her eyes as Tyler spoke about him and Amber having sex. He was just being a sarcastic ass about it all, but it made her chuckle.
"Well, now we all know you want to bone Amber." She smiled flatly at Tyler as he looked back at her and Amber told him to be quiet. They rolled up on the property of the farm and outside the house, she saw a blonde on the ground crying.
"Oh crap, what's going on?"
She sat up a little more in her seat, grabbing the head rests of the seats up front and looking between Amber and Tyler. When Amber finally stopped the car, she quickly opened the door and stood, looking over the roof of the car, just barely, watching as the girl just seemed to be unmoving as she sobbed. She furrowed her brow and looked towards the house, seeing that no one was coming out to address what they were seeing. Slowly, she pulled her handgun back out of the holster and she started to wonder if something happened inside. She was starting to worry that a walker or two got in and attacked.
"Amber, do you want to go talk to her?"

Amber pulled through the gate, and into the front lawn. Something was wrong, she could feel it. The first thing she noticed was the group of people looking toward the house. Bethany said something to Tyler which she ignored.
She looked out the other side and before Bethany could finish Amber was out of the Humvee. She left ye door open, the keys inside as she ran to Becky's side.
She pulled the girl close to her. "Becky what's wrong. What happened," she asked the crying girl, holding her, but all she got were more sobs. Amber looked up at Brian on the porch, the one legged doc banging his fist on the door.
"What's going on here? Brian what happened," Amber asked looking at him.
"Something happened inside. Thad stormed off on the bike, Abby threw Becky out and wants her to leave. I don't know what'and going on."
Amber looked around. She stood up. "Back to work everyone. We'll get this sorted out," she said folding her arms just under her chest. "Continue what you were doing, everything is fine."
She looked at Brian, "where's Sarah and Max?"
"Sarah's inside, and Max is up in the tower," Brian said moving back from the door.
Amber saw someone in the crowd. "Joseph come here," she called, "you're on watch now, go relieve Max."
Sarah sat in the chair that Abby and Margaret helped her to. She glanced around, "Oh Abby , what did you do?" She shook her head, "it was my fault, I shouldn't have told him." She glanced at Margaret as the older woman spoke, 'Hush now, the man did have a right to know and that don't give her reason to go around attacking someone." Margaret got a went rag from the sink and started wiping Sarah's face up some.
They heard the truck pull up and Margaret looked at Abby, "You go and handle all that, and I will take care of her."
Abby didn't want to leave Sarah, but she knew Margaret was right. She did need to go out there and explain what happened.
Abby went and unlocked the front door and stepped out on the porch. She saw Brian on the porch and Amber over near Becky. Abby shoo her head, 'I can tell you what happened, I kicked her ass for attacking Sarah, that's what happened. I told her to get out of the house til she could act right." She stepped down off the porch and moved over towards Amber, 'Amber, I don't want to kick her out, but Sarah had every right to tell Thad, hell, we all knew what happened, she needed to tell him, and because she didn't Sarah felt obligated to do it, and she just attacked Sarah in the kitchen, she's got a busted lip and bloody nose cause this one can't handle herself ." She looked at Amber, 'If she had been angry and just yelled , like a normal person, I wouldn't have gotten involved." Abby folded her arms, and then glanced as Max was coming down out of the tower. Great, what, where they gonna tell on her for kicking Becky's ass? Bitch deserved it. Abby glanced at Becky and saw her cheek was bleeding . Abby looked at her hand and realized her ring must have cut her when she punched her.
Abby didn't feel one bit sorry for what she had did. Becky shouldn't have put her hands on Sarah, plain and simple.

Max heard the door slam after some yelling and looked around. What now, he thought to hinself. He saw the crowd gathered and truck pulling up. There was someone laying on the ground, he assumed Becky. He saw Amer rush to the scene, followed by Brian up on the porch. Placing the Rifel on the table he began to dismount the ladder.
"All yours," he said to Joseph as young man passed him.
Max walked up to the group, seeing Abby outside. "Oh dam, who did this to her? When did we get Apollo Creed at our camp?" He listened to Abby explain herself, Max folding tucking his thumbs in the pockets of his jeans.
"You did this, nice swing," he said with a laugh, "way to go Allstar."
He looked down at Becky and Amber. "I see Becky is in the wrong here. To go around attacking one of our own. We should have seen it coming. She should go, out the gates. We can't risk another attack."
Brian listened to Abbt explain what happened an it started to make sense. All the stuff going down this morning, Sarah talking to Thad. The fight. It was all realte to the cheating, and Charles leaving. That one mistake had the cost the farm so much already, it needed to stop.
"So Becky instigated all this. Is Sarah alright, will she be okay. Dean should be inside, but I can go inside if I'm needed." He looked at Becky again then Abby. "You handled it right, but she can't leave. No matter what happens. Becky is one of us, she was just angry."
Brian moved back, "Max, Amber can you take Becky to the porch. I'll examine her wounds."
Abby looked at Max, she didn't laugh at his comment about Creed, though she wanted to. She shook her head." Didn't mean to hurt her too bad, I was angry at the way she just attacked Sarah." It was the truth, she did t know what had come over her, maybe it was hormonal.
Abby heard Brian as about Sarah," Margaret is getting her cleaned up, nothing permanent, but she's really freaked, especially after all she's already went through. " she nodded," when I go back in, I make sure Dean has a look at her." Abby glanced at Becky, then the others," I didn't mean she needed to be kicked out, I was kicking her out of the house. She doesn't need to be in there, Sarah is always in there and if Becky's gonna act like this, she shouldn't be allowed in the house. That's all I was trying to do, not get her kicked off the farm. " Abby looked at Max," she's hurt, I get that, but she can't blame Sarah for being strong enough to do what she couldn't."
Abby watched them help Becky up on the porch," Amber, I know she's your friend, and I know she's hurting over Thad, I just don't want her around Sarah until she can act civilized and not attack her." Abby said her peace and then she ran her hand over Max's arm," I'm going back inside to check on Sarah, we still have this wheat to grind."
