As everyone inside the Museum tried to relax, Elise and her small group kept a watchful eye on the outside - two of her people were at the doors, just out of sight of anyone looking in, while her and one other were further inside...as she kept her eye on Tegan and her inner circle, her mind wandered a little and she started to think about Natasha and wondered what her girlfriend might be doing at the moment.
Before she could let her mind start wandering further in that direction, one of her colleagues called out from the door, "Hey, we've got vehicle traffic coming towards the museum," using the scope on his rifle to watch the approaching vehicle. Running over, Elise brought her SIR rifle up and watched it with her own scope; after a few seconds, she called out to the rest of them, "We got a vehicle approaching," pausing to point towards one of the Scouts - Preacher, she thought his name was - "what do you want us to do?" It was a valid question; even though they were still on Belle Isle, Elise knew who was in charge at the Museum and who was in charge of her security was, so anytime she could defer a question, she would.

His ear was to the radio as he was keeping up with what was going on. Nodding his head every now and then, he would give Tegan the update that she wanted. "They are at a motel where a Flare was shot out from. Theyre going to be breaching into the rooms to find the person who's with David. The person's name is Mercy." As he said that, he thought how Ironic it was her name was Mercy. His eyes went to a vehicle that was approaching and the one female asked him what they should do. "Thomas, you with me. You three, cover us from here. We are going to see who it is before we decide to open fire on them." Walking to the door with the cigar still, he blew out a few plumes of smoke from his nose as he pushed the doors open.
Stepping in the day light, the car came speeding up and then stopped in front of him and Thomas. Looking carefully, he saw it was Jenna and Julie. Walking over to Julie's door, he opened the door and lowered a hand to her. "Welcome to the Museum Ma'am. Tegan is inside with our newest guests."

"Thomas, you with me. You three, cover us from here. We are going to see who it is before we decide to open fire on them." Walking to the door with the cigar still, he blew out a few plumes of smoke from his nose as he pushed the doors open.
Without waiting, Thomas got up, lever-action at the ready and followed Preacher outside while Elise and her people waited at the door; after a few nervous moments, Thomas relaxed as he caught sight of who was inside the vehicle: it was Jenna and Julie. Watching the area around as Preacher opened the door for Julie, Thomas nodded at her and kept guard on the area around them, keeping both eyes on everyone while he kept an ear glued to the radio in case anything else happened.
Julie allowed preacher to help her out of the car and she headed inside. She didn't need the escort but she appreciated it. It was good at least to have someone to stop her. She felt like at any minute she'd sucumb to the urge to throw caution to the dam wind and start strapping up for war herself, even though she knew it was foolish to do so. Julie found where everyone was and actually smiled a little when she saw Tegan. Despite everything that was a happening around them Tegan was her calm summer sun in harsh winter. Julie found a seat beside her and sat down. She slipped her hand into Tegan's lacing her fingers in hers and squeezed her hand. She squeezed her hand causing Tegan to look at her. Julie spoke low and quiet so only Tegan could hear her. She was speaking to her wife about her concerns and also to the leader of the group about what she thought should be the next step for them.
Julie: Was that really David on the radio? i know this ain't the time to be bringing this up, and i feel lousy for even thinkin it but, when we get David back...... We need'ta pack up and move on. This place was supposed to be a stop along the way but look what's happened here! I got taken, Hannah nearly died, Dana, You, Kern was shot! We lost Danny, and Barry, and......... and. Brian. *Julie paused for a long moment before continuing* And so many others. Honey our losses are piling up and they're outweighing the good. We'll get David back.... I know we will. And when we do. We need'ta start truckin west sugar.
Tegan had almost died in a helicopter crash, Julie was kidnapped, David was .... somewhere. Kern had been shot and they'd already lost so many good people. This place, Bell Isle was nice on the surface but it was also a place were people let their gaurd down. They let themself slip into thinking they were safe and people died that way. Julie didn't want to see any more of her friend get hurt or lost or die. She wanted to realize Tegan's dream of heading west and see what the horizon brought them. Julie didn't know why, but for some reason, she felt like the road was a safer place for them right now than the island.
Julie: Just give it some thought okay baby? I'm feelin a touch better myself.... i just want us to make it to the coast, then we can relax on the beach and have those margaritas your promised me in a previous life.

Sitting inside the Museum, Tegan's heart brightened enormously when she saw Julie enter, smiling brightly as her wife walked over and took up a seat right next to her, lacing her fingers in-and-around Tegan's and squeezing her hand. It felt oh-so-good, Tegan thought, to feel Julie's touch, giving Julie's hand an equal squeeze in turn. Looking over at her Georgia belle, Tegan listened as Julie spoke to her in a low voice.... Was that really David on the radio? i know this ain't the time to be bringing this up, and i feel lousy for even thinkin it but, when we get David back......
As she listened to Julie, Tegan shook her head in agreement; what had supposed to have been a short layover for rest, resupply and recuperation had turned into, for all intents-and-purposes, an almost never-ending nightmare of events, one right after the other. Thinking about everything made Tegan's heart sadden a bit, especially when she remembered her own run of medical calamities - breaking her leg in the helicopter crash, having to be resuscitated, suffering from short-term amnesia and so on and so forth. Shaking her head once more, Tegan replied, "We will, once we get David back and we get him on the road to recovery, we'll take off," leaning forward and blowing out a long breath. Before she could continue, Julie added, Just give it some thought okay baby? I'm feelin a touch better myself.... i just want us to make it to the coast, then we can relax on the beach and have those margaritas your promised me in a previous life.
Oh, thanks for the reminder, Peach, Tegan mused, chuckling a bit at the thought of sitting on the California beach, margarita in hand with her wife by her side. Squeezing Julie's hand once more, Tegan said, "I'll give it some thought, okay?" leaning over to kiss her on the cheek, cupping her face in her hand as she did. "And when we get there, Peach, I'll make you the best damn margarita in the world, you have my word on that...."
Julie smiled at the promise that Tegan would make her the best dam margarits in the world. Then she chuckled a little remembering that back in the hive on a few nights of their time alone together. Julie thought about their little quarters they shared and her smile faded a little. Her eyes seemed to be staring off in the distance as she thoughtfully reminisced about those little quarters that defined and shaped their relationship. Julie looked down at Tamara's bracelet and blushed a bit, even that seemed like a life time ago.... Dam they really needed some alone time and with the baby and everything else that was going on that was going to be even harder to come by now, but still, she was damned sure going to make time for her lover. She missed the intimacy that they shared and squeezed her hand a little tighter before leaning over and returning this kiss on her lips.
Julie: i'ma hold ya to that one sugar.
Julie then looked up for the first time and noticed the new faces. Her attention had been subverted on Tegan this entire time she hadn't even noticed Clancy, who seemed to be staring in their direction; and Hyatt who seemed more interested in something outside on the roof. Julie looked around to see how everyone else was reacting to them. They all seemed, at least to Julie fairly at ease around them, but Julie wasn't sure. Hyatt in particular looked like he was..... Oh stop! Julie scolded herself. You trust Tegan's judgement leave it at that. Julie smiled at the two newcomers.
Julie: Hello. I'm Julie. Julie Archer-Lyell. This one here's *Julie said grabbing Tegans arm and hugging it* better half! Sorry if we're a bit on edge, our friend.....
Julie's friendly introduction turned quickly to sadness as she remembered the severity of what was going on around her. She cut her sentence off mid way and just lowered her head a bit. Julie offered Clancy and Hyatt a small smile before looking back to Tegan. Tegan seemed just as worried about David. There was nothing either of them could do though but wait by the radio and wonder what was going on in the rescue mission.

-For everyone's Information, I'm fast forwarding the thread of David so that everyone is now enroute back to Belle Island.Sorry for being on and off again. Been hectic on the other site-
Jenna stepped out of the car. Walking over to the Museum following behind Julie. Her Enfield was in her hands and ready to go. Stepping inside, she lifted up her shades smiling a bit to see Tegan was relaxing a bit. Preacher was already taking up firing position on the other side of the room. Julie went over to her and sat down with the boss lady herself which made Jenna smile a bit more at the sight of the two love birds. Her green blue eyes looked over to the two new faces. Going over to the guy, she held out a hand to him.
"Hi. I'm Jenna Jones, Welcome to Belle Island and nice to meet you."
her smile was warming and friendly as she looked around again. After she is to be introduced the man's name, she would walk over to the blonde lady who looked like a Pilot. Holding her hand out, she would introduce herself to the lady. "Nice to meet you too, I'm Jenna. You can call me Jonesy or Jen." The smile stayed a while long as she then looked over at preacher. "Hey Preacher, whats the 411 on Operation Save Pecs?" Preacher lifted up the radio and listened to it. Raising his left hand up, he showed a thumb's up.
Preacher: "They are bringing back David to the island with a couple of new faces. Even the one who saved his life. Her name is Mercy, Ironic. Everyone else from the team is fine. No injuries reported from them. They are requesting a stretcher and Blood transplants for David though. It seems David has lost a lot of blood and is now Life threatening."

Seeing Julie's expression change from happiness at greeting both Clancy and Hyatt to sadness at the continuing situation outside the wire, Tegan hugged her wife close to her and whispered, "Its' alright, Peach, its' alright," hugging her close to her and gently rubbing her back. As she continued to hold Julie close, Tegan heard Preacher describe the situation outside... "They are bringing back David to the island with a couple of new faces. Even the one who saved his life. Her name is Mercy, Ironic. Everyone else from the team is fine. No injuries reported from them. They are requesting a stretcher and Blood transplants for David though. It seems David has lost a lot of blood and is now Life threatening."
Hearing Preacher's words sprung Tegan to action. "Preacher, we're heading back to the Yacht Club building right now," getting up from her chair, shillelagh in hand. Looking around, she barked out orders to everyone...."Elise," she began, "have your people guard the chopper outside and the aircraft; nobody but our people - and that includes Clancy - gets access to them. That includes your leaders, here, Elise," remembering that her people were still guests here.
"Preacher, pass the word to everyone in our group: with the exception of those of us who are on guard duty or who went outside with Kern and the rescue convoy, anyone who wishes to donate blood is free to do so," pausing as she asked Elise, "you guys have cross-matching here, right?"
"Hang tight," Elise said, calling the Medical Center on her handset; moments later, she gave Tegan a thumbs-up, signifying that they did.
"Preacher," Tegan continued, "once we get David's condition stabilized, I want you and Kern to do a walk-around with Belle Isle's leaders and see if we can't get this island more secure than it already is - no offense, Elise," pointing over to the Belle Isle resident as she said the last little bit.
"None taken, ma'am," Elise replied, no trace of insult in her words; she knew they could use the advice and assistance on securing Belle Isle. Without waiting, Tegan raised her shillelagh and pointed it towards the door. "Unless anyone wants to chime in further," she said, "let's be about it, people."
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
