Remy watched as Dan's body was wrapped up in the comforter provided by Sam, horrified that she was seeing him in this state. Her only wish is that they had more time together. She wanted to study with him, to investigate, to be a scientist again, but that need and want was dashed again by the realities of the world around them.
She scooted back and leaned against the wall, resting her hands on her knees as she looked at Tanya who spoke about Simon physically taking Luca..and worse, that he was injured.
"Wait, what? He left? Luca was injured? What do you mean?"
This woman was not in any shape to answer any more questions. She looked paled and she was bleeding out also. If they didn't get her down to Andrei, she was probably going to die also. She looked too weak to open her mouth any more and she looked up at Arden. "Leave Dan for now. We need to get her downstairs before she bleeds out. If Luca left, he'll come back for me. We can wait."
She stood up and started to move to Tanya, looking to lift her up and get her downstairs. They would have to recover quickly and she would wait for Luca. She just hoped he would return...would he return or did Simon fill his head with shit?
Rollin snarled as Damon spoke and he looked down the barrel of the gun as it was pointed at his head. Too weak to do anything but sit there, he couldn't help but laugh as the man spoke about his group's atrocities.
"You're gonna die in all this. You're all gonna die. I hope I get to eat all of you assholes..."
The walkers broke through and he cried out as the gunshot wound through his leg burned like a hot poker. There was no way he was getting out of this and when the walker bit into his throat, blood shot out and the pain was excrutiating...far more then the gun shot wounds. Ragged flesh was torn away, piece by piece as he lay there. He didn't even hear Damon's last words as he whisked away and the building was overrun by walkers tearing at him, pulling his organs out and eating him. It took too long to kill him, but death had finally arrived.
Go, Run. She had been caught up in a whirlwind. Feeling herself carried, dropped and spoken to. Inside. She was inside. She stared for a moment ,glancing around at the hell that was surrounding her. She had cut of the head of the snake in hopes it would wither, but the tail still crept around.
She heard gunfire. Still more pain, more dying. She hadn't wanted any of this. If Cade had just stayed silent, let her go with Acer, would any of this be happening? Her hands trembled. Her home was in a shambles. She took slow steps through the bar, moving further inside. She saw the kitchen door and heard movement. She spotted the red head come out and head towards the hotel. Was she going for more injured? Colette ambled through to the kitchen, and through the door. She spotted the Doc, and the little one inside. Cade lay upon a cot, and she moved closer towards him. Blood covered her face and hair, the front of her shirt. Acer's blood. She looked at the Doc, 'help them, please." she moved towards the cot and stared down at Cade, sitting slowly beside him. "it's over, it's done." she spoke to him and smoothed his cheek with the back of her hand. Tears slipped down, "Don't you leave me." she dipped her head and kissed his forehead.
She felt cold, this was her death as well. So much death, life seemed to be lost. She stood, and smirked as she left the kitchen, heading for her office. Colette opened drawers, and gathered weapons. She had three pistols, two she shoved in her waist, and one she carried. It was time to clean house. Fragments of the snake were moving around her home and she would remove them. Slowly taking her time, she moved through the place. She knew the others were dealing with things as well. She saw blood splatter on walls, drops in the halls. This had taken it's toll on her people.
Time moved, and with the others the reminents of Acer's men that had continued to fight after he fell were swept from the world, no mercy given.
Colette found herself back in the bar, setting weapons upon it. she pulled out a bottle of whiskey and set a glass upon the bar. She poured, and drank it back. Her eyes wandered around as others began to creep in. She laid more glasses upon the bar, filling each one. She could hear the Doc and his girls in the kitchen. a new day would dawn, and they had survived, most of them. She glanced around at faces, 'nothing is secure in this world, we fight to survive, and today, we did." she took another drink, "tomorrow, is another day, right now, we have to shore up our defensives." THe place was a mess, and they needed to work on that, to keep the dead out.
Holly heard someone scream her name. THey had Cade handled, so she left the kitchen. She was nervous as she moved through the bar. She spotted Colette, she was covered in blood. She almost went to her, but she saw Victor coming through the door. She moved on, into the hotel. She heard a gun fire and then crying. She ran , trying to find the source."Hello? "
She headed down a hall and came face to face with Arden. Holly stopped, "I heard, a shot." She stared at his face, "Andrei is working on Cade, I can help." She would try, do her best, til they got whoever it was to Andrei. She could see past him into the room, a body wrapped up, Sam and Remy and Tanya on the floor.
Arden looked at Remy as Tanya spoke. She said Simon left with Luca. That Simon dragged Luca away. But Arden knew better. Luca left, he was a pussy and left with his boyfriend during the fight. Remy didn't deserve Luca, not if he would just run. But he didn't say anything. It wasn't his place to talk about it, not now.
"He ain't coming back. Not if they left. We gonn be waitin a long fuckin' time."
He looked at Tanya. "Alright stay there. I'll get yah to the doc." He looked at Sam. "Blonde, you look after Remy. Make sure she ain't doin' anything stupid while I'm gone."
Just then a redhead showed up. She was a nurse or something. Arden looked back at Tanya. "She's bleeding bad. We need to get her to this doc guy quickly. I can carry her, you lead the way."
Arden was strong, he could manage the weight of only twig of a girl. Getting low he put his arms under Tanya. One under her knees, the other her back. He stood up, lifting with his legs.
"Try not to bleed on me. Hang on if you need to." He looked at the Red Head. "Alright Red, lead the way."
Sam didn't know what to do. She felt like she was just there, watching it all happen. The gun fire caused her to jump a bit. She knew it was over, they couldn't save him. It was too much blood.
She helped wrap him up and prepare the body. She felt like she was outside of her body, watching. Tanya was in bad shape, Arden was going for the doc, when the red head showed up. Arden said he would take Tanya and for her to help Remy. Help, Remy? How? She stared at the other blonde and just moved over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. Sam knew this was hard for her. She knew she couldn't fix it, but she would do as she was asked and stay with her.
Damon! Where was Damon? She was concerned, she had left him in the other room, and hadn't seen him since.
Tanya stood there watching everyone as they spoke.Keeping her one hand pressed against her wound, she then noticed the red head that followed behind Doc mmost of the time. It was a good sign to see knowing she will be able to get her wound checked over. Her eyes widened when she heard Arden saying that he was going to carry her down two flights of stairs to where Doc was set up in the kitchen. As she was about to protest, he had already lifted her up. Sighing, she just laid in his arms. "Keep my blood off you? That's going to be a little hard since your carrying me. But I will try my best....thank you." She simply looked at her hand pressuring down on the wound trying to keep her blood from staining Arden's clothes. She won't say anything else at the current time. She just simply laid her gun on her chest then reached into her pocket, pulling out her picture of her and her father.
It was the only thing that Talia could think of as she found an empty store. By the looks of it once had been a convenience store. But it was highly disheveled and turned over - looters most likely. Any scavengers looking for food, supplies, anything to keep them going. For the most part Talia had believed she had lost the last one. Hopefully he didn't have the balls to come looking for her. She had taken out two of his friends. He wouldn't be as unfocused as he was when they had found her. Talia gritted her teeth in frustration and bit down hard. She had every intention to just run back to the car and drive away. The part of her that was telling her this was not her battle was strong, but the self-conscious side knew she would not be able to live knowing that people could be hurt. "Goddamnit, Tal, this is not your fight," Talia felt a sudden surge of anger as she bit down fighting it back. She placed both hands on the countertop and hung her head. She had to think. She closed her eyes and found herself lost in a swirl of confusion. So much had happened since she entered this town. So. There were these guys. The ones in the building, the one across the street, were under siege from those other dudes, the ones in the baclavas. The handsome blonde man whatever happened to him.. seemed to be giving the baclava's the order. It was then that she realized she was without her rifle.
She swung her backpack off her back and laid it on the counter. Those people needed help. They were attacked. It wasn't the other way around. Well, whatever information she had was apparently lacking in detail. Whatever had woke the beast and caused the aggressor to lay down gunfire had to be something.. personal. From the way the two sides shot at each other told that this wasn't just for territory or supplies. This was some hardcore shit. She retrieved a bottle of water from the bag, popped the cap off, and lifted the bottle to her lips, draining the bottle in one motion, and squeezing the plastic making it crumble in her palm. She tossed the bottle over her shoulder and replaced her bag. She was going in, she knew that much. Hopefully the survivors didn't shoot at her. No sooner had she retrieved her rifle and switchblade she carefully made her way to the hotel. The front had been completely tattered with gunfire, not to mention the building across the street. That had housed the aggressor. The face of the building had a huge gaping hole from that explosion she heard earlier. She scanned the street. No movement. She took a breath keeping her face straight and unreadable. She was determined. There was only one right thing here. From her vantage point, back against the brick wall, she detached herself from the wall. She aimed to make her way through the back door. Less traffic in the rear, then there would be in the front. Finally reaching the door she noticed that it had been destroyed. She stepped over the broken pieces and pressed a shoulder against the wall next to the door frame. She knew she didn't have much time. Those dead in the streets would wake up soon.
She wet her lips nervously, "Hello?", she called out, "I mean no harm. I am armed but safety is on. I just want to help," there was no noise coming from the inside, but she said "so please don't shoot me," a little more quietly, almost inaudible. She winced as she found herself saying, "I have water."

Red. There was that name again. Why do men always do that? Well, except Andrei, he never did that to her. She nodded at Arden and turned around," we are set up in the kitchen." She didn't waste time and was sorta hustling, she felt the need to get there as fast as they could. The wound was similar to Cade's and Holly was concerned with the amount of blood she had lost. She kept glancing over her shoulder, checking if Tanya was still awake.
Heading into the kitchen," Andrei, abdominal wound." She pointed to a large stainless steel table for Arden to set her on as she gathered a tray and some other things they might need.

Remy helped Arden get Tanya downstairs with Holly and when she felt the woman was in good hands, she stepped back. She watched the scene unfold and it looked like she had just missed Colette. Cade was also being treated, but right now, her mission was to find Luca. Tanya said Simon left with him, but what if they just went to one of the rooms? She left the room and started looking around, almost frantically as she went through the courtyard, taking care of a few walkers with her bat as they clawed at the gates, putting them down. She went to her room... "Luca? Where are you?" She went to Simon's room which was empty and abandoned. She went down the hall and up the stairs to the next floor.
From here, she could see the row of cars they had and in the middle, by the door, one was missing. There was a gap between the cars and suddenly her heart sank. He was gone. Tanya was right. Arden was right. If she couldn't find him and he didn't come looking for her when the firefight died down, then he was gone.
Everything he said was a lie. He was just using her. He wanted to be a good guy, but he left. It wasn't just her and him anymore. Just as she was starting to get close to someone again, that false hope showed its ugly head. She truly believed he cared about her and now all that falling she was doing was for naught. Instead of him being her net that would catch her, she merely landed on concrete, which was enough to shatter what trust she had to must for him. The notion that she could care again had gone out the window and suddenly her heart started to hurt. On the side of the building, she leaned back against the wall, in front of one of the room windows and just sank down. More loss. More heartache. More reason to escape. She suddenly felt herself going into shock from it all. Everything was starting to shut down.
She closed her eyes and stayed in this spot. She had no reason to move now.

Damon stepped inside the bar and saw his canteen on the bar heading towards it. Damon took a long drink to quench his thirst with the side of the canteen hitting the cut on his cheek which made him wince slightly. He saw faces around him and wondered of all the experiences they had been through, how many had faced a situation as hot as this. Damon began chuckling at how ridiculous it was he had survived this day. He saw the stairs and wondered where Samantha was.
He wanted to be sure she was safe and headed upstairs as he could not see her. "Sam? Sammy? You alright?"
Standing in the kitchen, he saw the girl he had met with Angel at his house. Claira if he remembered correctly. Arden set her down on a steel table. Walking over with his bag, he began to speak to her as he took her Russian sub machine gun from her. "Claira. Its Lt. Crowley. I'm going to look you over first then patch you good as New ok?" Lifting her shirt up, he saw the injury that she had. A small caliber gunshot. Going into his bag, he pulled out a pair of rubber gloves. Putting them on, he slid under her back. Victor was feeling for an exit wound. But he didn't find any. "Ok, now Claira...the bullet is still inside of you. If we are lucky, we reach in with the forceps, pull it out and Bob's your uncle. If we aren't lucky, we will have to cut you open slightly and feel around for it. Now to be honest with you, it will hurt. A lot. But let's think positive shall we?" Taking out a pair of forceps from his medic bag. Leaning over her, he said to the lady and Arden. "If you two can, please hold her down. Its goin to be a wild ride gettin that bullet out. Don't want to hurt her even more then she already is."
Once held down, he slowly pushed the forceps into the wound. Using his sense of feeling to feel around for the bullet. Tanya began to squirm a bit. Placing an arm on her left thigh, he kept feeling around until he found what he was looking for. Clamping down, he slowly pulled the forceps out and out came the bullet. A 9mm round. Placing the round into Tanyas hand he said smiling. "We gotten Lucky my dear...now you only need stitches. You'll be bed ridden for a while to heal..." His head popped up to when he heard someone's voice calling out. "Miss, please patch her...we got a guest." Bringing up his Scar H, he aimed at the door and rushed over. Cautiously, he walked out into the bar area and into the area that he came from after rescuing Colette and where he killed two of Acers men. His sights were on a woman who was armed. "Drop your weapons to the floor. If you don't I will take your actions as hostile and I will open fire. Now pick." It was all he said to the female until he saw something stumbling to her.He would yell to her saying. "Hit the ground!" Once she went to the ground, Victor would shoot two shots. One hitting the walker in the chest and one in the head. The thing fell to the ground and his gun was aimed back onto her.
From her cover spot against the door frame Talia peered inside the building. There was only one thing that peered back. The sharp contrast of the dimness from within the building was intimidating and she was unsure of what lay amongst the building's innards. They could all have perished. It was a possibility that she had to tell herself. From the way the streets looked it was very possible that the people inside had not made it to the end. But it was not improbable that some had survived. On her way in the building looked well fortified enough to hold ground. Though, she could not tell for sure. She did not know these people, or what they were capable of. And for a moment that was enough for Talia to almost turn around. However, there was one thing that made her feel obliged to help these people. There was something about the ferocity of the firefight. Those defending for their lives usually had a very good reason to do so. Though she did not have all the facts as it were. Just driving away was not something she could do. It was frustrating, and it was here that she realized she did not know what the hell she was doing. She took a moment to peer one more time inside the building. It was draining to think that nothing stared back. It was like the building had consumed those inside. She did not what to do. Some of the towns had been overrun and that gunfire would have surely attracted the dead ones.
She slung her rifle over her shoulder, leaned against the wall, took one last breath, and was about to take a step inside when a voice called out. She gave a small jolt of fright and put her hands up over her head. It took her a few delayed seconds to realize that the man had ordered her to drop her weapons. But when it clicked she began to move her hands to bring the rifle's rope over her shoulder, then her head, and placed it on the ground. She began to reach for her sidearm in the waistband of her jeans. And placing the pistol on the ground the voice yelled at her again. "What?", she blinked, confused, "I am doing what you say, I-" then she heard the snapping, the snarls, the bone-chilling sound of raw hunger. She felt dread fill her soul and prickle her skin. She did not want to look back at those decaying faces. Instead she wailed and quickly fell to the ground, flat on her stomach, hands flat. "Oh come on!" she cried out, feeling vulnerable now that her weapons were just an arm's reach away. Just an arm's reach away. Her eyes fell on the rifle as they went wide. How far are they? Are they close? I don't wanna die. So many thoughts bounced around her head. She felt like they were to fall on her and rip her apart at any moment. She winced, audibly making a whine, and shut her eyes tight. Then she heard the shots and breathed out hard and loud. One shot, a snarl, then another shot, and nothing. Talia opened her eyes. "Are they gone?" she asked softly, as she turned and felt something on her ankle. She turned to look behind her and found the dead one's hand laying over her ankle. She began to crawl away quickly and huddled herself against the wall, bringing her knees to her chest. Momentarily forgetting that the man still had his gun on her.
Arden followed holly to the kitchen. He looked we Andrei and Victor. Arcade was over on the table, Colette and a girl beside him. Seemed everyone had gathered here. Arden quickly set Tanya down where they asked him to and stepped back. His shirt had blood across it, and he tried to while it away just making it spread.
"She's all yours now doc,"he said stepping back, "all yours. I think that's all the wounded. At least on the upper floors."
Arden turned on his heel and hurried back to where Remy was. He passed Damon on the stares and lowered down beside Remy out in the hall. Arden looked at her, tilted her chin to look at him. "You need to be strong yah 'ere?," he asked looking at her, "we don't need you to do something stupid. I know you just lost, lost Dan, Luca, everything. But that man, the threat. He's dead. We are safe. We are alive, and fightin'. Remy, Ellie is still out there, and everyone else. Maybe we look for Luca, maybe we don't. But we can't stay here, moot forever. Tomorrow we need to leave, somewhere else.

Andrei was finishing closing a gunshot on one of Colette's men. Straight through his left hand. Others came and went, including Colette, who went to see Cade. He was almost done when they brought in Tanya.
"Kinda busy at the moment." he said when Holly brought her in. It was a fairly important part, since he was trying to reduce the man's bleeding. Thankfully, Victor went to work on her. Once Andrei was done, he sent the man to a corner of the kitchen, threw the bloody instruments in the sink and took some new ones after changing his gloves. He moved to the new patient, and let Victor do his job, whilst Andrei held the woman down. Once he left to take care of security, Andrei took over, injecting, first, some local anesthesia around Tanya's wound, after which he began closing bleeding vessels and stitching.

Arden didn't understand because she didn't tell him. There was no time to tell him about everything she had been through. She only told him the tip of the iceburg about her loss of Greg and Lily in Miami. She didn't tell him about Lex in Ohio. He figured Luca was sleeping with her to get his rocks off and move on, which, at this point, it seemed exactly what that was. It was confusing to her. Why wouldn't Luca stay and get treated by Andrei? Was Simon that much of an influence before that he could just be whisked away, just like that? Did she mean nothing to him in the time they had grown close?
Those were the thoughts that raced through her mind as Arden found her and approached quietly speaking to her. Maybe there was a chance Luca would come back tonight. Maybe Simon actually was thinking of Andrei who was overwhelmed downstairs.
She kept her head down as she spoke and it was clear she was already starting to shut down from all this. "Alright." But she didn't move for a long time. She just wanted to stay here, in this spot forever. But with Arden's urging she finally stood up, bloody nail bat in hand. She wanted to leave notes for a few people, including Andrei that she was leaving. She didn't want to see anyone or even talk to anyone. At least she had Arden.
Back in her room she just laid down on the bed and curled her knees up to her chest as she stared out the window.
Jeff hadn't seen this coming, not that fast. He had barely made it across the street before the fire erupted. He saw the flames rising around him. Then he saw A man fall. Acer had stabbed him, probably killed him. He tried to take the woman away, was going to force her to come with him. Then Acer fell, a stab to the neck.
Jeff saw some of the other guards push past him, only to make it a few steps and die. Others ran past and were gunned down or forced into the flames. He saw Kyle rushed out, a man in the upped window shooting to take him. He missed and Kyle fired, shooting the attacker. His brother had killed someone, that wasn't who they were. They were good people, they didn't hurt anyone. But a year with them and Kyle had changed, and Jeff didn't even notice.
He saw Kyle get shot, another gunman from the windows taking him down. Jeff ran forward but stopped as shots came his way. The group, Acer's they had full intent on killing the other. He could see it in their eyes they wanted revenge.
Jeff moved back into the building. He wasn't going to fight, not now. As he went around he made his way to the back of the store. Opening the door he came face to face with a walker. The walker snapped more behind it. Jeff stumbled back, reaching for his gun. It wasn't there, he had given it up as Acer commanded.
Moving back to the table he searched for his gun. It wasn't there, someone else had taken it. He saw the walkers coming in and toward him. Jeff moved back, across the street. Any of Acer's remaining men were leaving away. They turned their tails and ran. He went to go after them. Walkers came from the Alley, they came toward him. Soon he was surrounded.
Jeff turned and moved back. The walkers from the store were coming the other way. He was surrounded, both sides coming at him. Jeff felt a walker next to him and pushed it back. He had no weapon, no chance.
He had only one option. Jeff ran past the fire. He felt the heat, the walkers coming after him, the fire catching on them. Jeff kicked one back, sending it into the others. He banged on the door.
Arden stayed kneeled down next to Remy. He kept a hand on her shoulder, there to comfort her. He was didn't say anything, but just wanted to be there for her. She needed someone, someone who wasn't going to die or run away. When she slowly stood he did as well. He watched her, leaving Dan in the hall.
When Remy went into the room first he looked back at Sam. "Deal with this," he said calmly, "don't have it out here when she comes out. Or get someone to do it, I don't really care."
He stepped into the room with Remy, saw her on the bed. He sat in an armchair, the back to a corner. He faced the door and the bed. Slowly he breathed. He didn't say anything, just watched. With his gun on his lap he sat, there for her.
Victor watched her for a moment. She was scared. If she was like this, he could only imagine how she survived. Going over to the busted door, with his right foot he slid her weapons behind him leaving the door clear. Closing the door, Victor slid the dead bolt locking it. Turning around, he slung his rifle and picked up the unknown woman's weapons. "So, what's your name Miss? My name is Lt. Victor Crowley." He leaned against the wall next to her. He unloaded her riflw. Setting it down between them, he slid the receiver of her handgun making the live round fly then landing in her arms. The combat medic dropped the clip and gave the gun back.
"Now, since your stuck in here with us because of the walkers...you'll meet this group's leader. Her name is Colette. And no, I'm not a part of it. Was only asked to give them a hand with treating their wounds and help defend this old hotel."
Sam stared at Arden. She wasn't sure about leaving Remy. She'd seen people act like this before. Hell, Sam had been in and out of facilities over the years, so she had seen a lot. He wanted her to get rid of the body! What the hell? Where was she supposed to put it? By herself? She glanced at the blonde , then left the room and went into the hall.
Sam stood there staring at the body. How was she gonna move him by herself, with her wrist? She started down the hall, towards the stairs. She hoped to find one of the males to help her drag Dan's corpse away. As she got to the stairs , she recognized a blonde head," Damon!" She charged at him down a few steps. Her arms rushed around him as she met him." Oh my god! What happened? Where were you?" She stared at his face and saw the cut on his cheek. She kissed it and held his face in her hand, kissing him. Relief flooded her. He was alive and safe and here! True to his word, he came for her, again.
Sam pushed against him, he was up against the wall of the stairwell." Dan's dead, Remy is falling apart, the cops left, and that cousin of her wants me to get rid of Dan's body." She was talking so fast, trying to catch him up. Her hand roamed over his chest. He was alive, still with her. She just wanted to touch him, feel that he was real. Her hand slipped under his shirt, touching warm flesh. She could feel his heart beat against her palm. Sam kissed him again, shoving up against him," help me move this body." She bit her bottom lip as she stared at him," I wanna get this done and over with." She hadn't moved, it felt good to be close to him like this, heat between them, she felt alive.
