Lily allowed herself to relax for the first time in a long time. Even though it may have been brief, it was something she would take advantage of now that they were safe. This was the first time in a while she actually felt comfortable with the people around her. Lily contributed it to the way the group carried themselves. She never trusted Remy's group. Period. Leaving was the best thing for her. She was just glad June was with her. Dallas could take care of himself. Assuming his impulse to be the hero all the time didn't get himself killed. If that happened Lily would punch Remy the next time she saw her. Declare herself leader one second and then do fuck all the next. Whatever.
When the truck came to a stop Lily was the first one out after Colette. Looking over to the building and noticing the armed guards at the entrance. There were actually armed guards watching the facility? Lily had to check her pulse to make sure she wasn't dead. The woman wasn't used to the competence. Not since being separated from her friends, anyway. Lily nodded to Colette and watched her take off in the SUV before looking over to Angel and Des and smiled. Been a while since she had a genuine smile, too. Lily had a feeling she was going to like it here.
“Ladies. So, which one of you is Angel and which one of you is Des?”
June didn't say much on the road. Looking over to check on Candy every once and a while. Feeling slightly guilty at how quick she was to snap at Lily when she was just trying to help. Had she been too hard on the woman? Maybe. Maybe not. There would be time to address that later. Preferably when she wasn't worried sick about Dallas. Lily seemed strangely relaxed. How could she be so calm around people they barely knew? Did she really hate the other group that much?
June followed Lily out of the truck, motioning for Candy to follow. Pocketing her hands into her jeans while she listened to Colette. The place looked secured enough. They had to be. If it was true they co-existed with this 'Acer' fellow all this time. June still wasn't sure how to feel about them. It didn't sit right with her that out of everyone from Remy's group only she, Lily, and Candy ended up going in the truck. Why did Sam bail? Couldn't they understand the circumstances? They didn't have the time to wait with those walkers on their tails. At least Colette was going back for her own. Maybe she'd pick up Sam and Holly then? Who knows. June stood next to Lily, looking at the other girls now.
“Hi,” she greeted the two. “I'm June, and this is Candy,” she finished looking over at the youngest among them. June didn't hear what Colette told the two women, and had no idea if Colette caught her name or Candy's. She knew she at least had Lily due to talking to her and Dallas first, so she didn't feel the need to introduce her too. Lily could introduce herself at any case.

For as relaxed as Lily was now, Candy was going downhill the other way. She remained huddled down on the floor for the whole ride over, and almost refused to leave the truck. She hadn't had to deal with this many strangers in so short a time since she lost her real parents in the fire that scarred up her right forearm.
Out of the truck, clutched the pillowcase with toaster in one hand, and June's arm in the other. She barely knew June or Dallas, but they and Kim were closest thing to a trusted adult. While Collete introduced the three to Angel and Des, she avoided all their gazes, especially Lily's. If any one of them had been male with a gun this little girl may have just bolted. Watching Collette drive off, Candy dug into June's arm. Flopsy suffered a bear hug in the crook of her other toaster-in-a-pillowcase bearing arm.
Angel smiled at them, as Colette drove off. She glanced at Desiree and nudged her, "How much you wanna bet Clayton is back there trying to get those people to sign some kind of contract?" She chuckled softly, and heard Lily ask which one of them was which, "I'm Angel, this is Desiree, but we mostly call her Des." The smaller , black hair, white female pointed at the taller , mulato, woman.
Angel motioned towards the building, "You guys wanna come inside and find some food. I'm sure there is some chicken left." She glanced at the little girl, "and I think Leigh is running around in there somewhere, she's about your age, I think." She looked at June and then Lily, 'She was sent here to spy on us by Acer, but Colette let her stay."
The bar was set up like alot of bars. Large main room, with a rail bar along one wall. T'V.s mounted to one wall, with alot of tables mixed around. A small stage area off in one corner. The difference was the double doors, behind the bar that led to a large kitchen area. "We live mostly in the hotel next door, and use the bar as a main hub."Angel explained as she walked them inside. Des stayed outside for a few moments, before joining them.
