Listening to the doctors words on the subject of humanity's survival. "The world has certainly changed... Everyone has to change it seems to survive. I guess I think of people as more of walking time bombs of violence and destruction.. The only difference is that some people are good at holding it in longer or letting it leak out better then the bandits" Sighing as his dark eyes watched Joseph end the shambling corps that had manage to get through the gap. Moving closer toward it then younger man looked out and raised a brow at the sight. Poking his head through quickly looking to his sides for any walkers which he didn't see. Bringing brown to stare ahead at something that brought his attention toward Joseph to a halt. "Joseph you might want to check this out?" He asked as he backed away standing straight once more.

"Yeah, human nature being what it is, I don't think we'll be seeing any grand cathedrals being built anytime soon," Joseph said, checking the wall every so often to see if anything needed work. "Then again," pausing to take a peek through the wall before rejoining Alejandro and proceeding further down, "during the height of the Crusades, Jerusalem remained a fully functioning city, even during the worst of the fighting. Humanity has a way to..."
Bringing brown to stare ahead at something that brought his attention toward Joseph to a halt. "Joseph you might want to check this out?" He asked as he backed away standing straight once more.
Hearing Alejandro's comment brought Joseph's attention to a focus; seeing the younger man back up a bit, Joseph followed suit. Seeing a couple of walkers approaching the wall, he pulled out his trench knife and said, "When they get close to the wall, use your blade on them," pointing to Alejandro. "Don't use a pistol unless you have to; the sound would only attract more of them."
Alejandro's dark brown eyes stared at the group of walkers shumbeling a bit faster at the sight of him. Watching Joseph as he backed away along with him. Slowly unsheathing his machete nodding in agreemen as the sound of the shumbeling corpses hungry mouths got closer. Gripping the weapon until his knuckles became slightly white as he stabbed the first head he saw. Heart sinking as he felt a hand grab his sleeve mistaking it for a bite for a split second. Quickly grabbing the grasping pinky less hand with his other hand to release his machete hand. After a moment of sighing as he checked for any mark which thankfully their were none. AJ swung his machete at the hands attempting to chop them off so they weren't as much of a threat. The groans and shambling behind the wall seemed to get louder catching the attention of other walkers of the meat behind the wall. "I don't think this is going well." He said before swinging the weapon on a walkers fingers curing them off with a huff. His stomach felt as though it was doing flips as the nerve racking sound of wood bending could be heard faintly.

The groans and shambling behind the wall seemed to get louder catching the attention of other walkers of the meat behind the wall. "I don't think this is going well." He said before swinging the weapon on a walkers fingers curing them off with a huff.
"No kidding, Holmes," Joseph quipped as he stabbed a walker with his trench knife, dropping the shambolic creature to the ground. Seeing another walker nearby, he grabbed a broken piece of the wall and swung at the walker's head, hearing a solid thwack as the board connected with the walker's head. Still holding part of the now-cracked board, he pushed another walker back.
Pausing to look around, he saw several more walkers beginning to press against the slowly-weakening wall. "I could be wrong, Alejandro...and God I hope so, but I don't think the wall's going to hold up much longer." Removing his .44 from its' holster, he quickly cocked the hammer back and placed the pistol back in the holster, then made sure his lever-action was ready to go as well. "Alright, here's what we're going to do," looking back for a moment at the barn before turning his focus back to the front. "We're going to slowly fall back to the barn," pointing backwards, "all the while, taking out every walker that crosses over that wall.
"Hopefully, when we get to the barn, Zack will be there to help us with his bow and arrow and we'll try to hold them there as long as possible." Looking at the sky for a moment, he added, "Let's hope Dean and the others can get back here as soon as possible," once more withdrawing his .44 from its' holster. "Make sure you let me know when you're reloading so I can cover you and vice versa, alright, Alejandro?"
Aiming his pistol at a walker aimlessly trying to reach through the wall, Joseph added, "You know what to do," before pulling the trigger and dropping the walker with a loud boom....
The dark haired man held his gun ready to shoot as he listened to Joseph's words. Knowing to slowly make way for a barn as they took out walkers. Sighing as he heard the boom from Joseph's gun that alerted the others in the farmhouse and walkers. Pulling the trigger once as his pistol was aimed at a walker who had made it past the gaps the others were making. Gritting his teeth at the sight which was kind of saddening. Watching a few wonder through larger gaps in the walks created by the seemingly building force of undead on the outside. Firing two shots at a few shambling corpses as they made way for them.
Dark eyes looked over to his left. Catching the old farm house in view causing his stomach to go uneasy. "Wait what about Sisa and the others in the house?" He said worryful. Fearing that the walkers would surround the place if they fled to the barn. Looking over at the older man for a moment finally making the decision himself. Sprinting off to the front porch hollering "SABITA COME AND HELP US NOW!" He yelled before turning back toward where Joseph was. Running up and hitting the nearest walker with the blade of his machete. "Sabita is coming to help." He hoped so that the extra firepower would allow him to keep attention on the farmhouse as well.
The raven haired mistress kept her bow beside her side. Quiet as usual while looking around on the porch checking for any walkers that would be threatening. The sound of the gun shot caught her attention but she shrugged it off as Joseph and the new man exterminating something close to the walls. Dark brown eyes looked over at the blond bow men next to her with a small smirk forming. "Zack.. Tell Sisa I will never want to knit with her. She keeps asking man" The usually expressionless face laughed humorously as her small attempt at socilization was interrupted by the yelling coming from Alejandro. Nodding her head as she heard him loud and clear. Quickly getting down from the roof due to a ladder on the side. Already hearing the sound of groaning freaks before turning toward the back. Momenterly her eyes got large before the raven haired archer loaded a arrow. Keeping her aim steady before releasing the arrow to fly into the skull of a walker near the two men.

As he drew down on the slowly increasing number of walkers coming through the wall, Joseph kept his focus on them, carefully measuring his steps as he dropped a couple of walkers that'd stepped through and onto the farm. Hearing Alejandro's question, he was in the process of answering when the younger man yelled for Sabita to come and help them.
"Good move, Alejandro," Joseph said, pausing to reload his revolver before deciding to switch over to the lever-action. After checking to make sure it was loaded and ready, he worked the action and aimed at a snarling walker, dropping it with the first shot. Looking over for a moment at him, he added, "When we get back to the barn," nodding back towards it, "we'll use it for cover and try to knock off as many walkers as possible. If we can't stop--"
His words were interrupted by the whoosh of an arrow which flew past both men, plunging itself squarely in the head of a walker. "Good shot, Sabita," Joseph said as he stepped up and stabbed a walker with his trench knife, plunging the blade square in the head. Stepping back to let the walker fall, he sighted another walker with his rifle and continued pacing himself back towards the wall, hoping that they could hold off the walkers long enough to either keep the farm safe....or until Dean and the others could return to help them.

Nick looked back to make sure Mirk was keeping up. Even slowing down his pace so his was the same as Mirek so that he could assist him if he tripped or something. Thanks to track in school and the fast paced job he had it was fairly easily. Exhaling with a sigh as his hand grabbed the passages side door pulling it open. Hopping in quickly making Mirek got in. Looking through the rear view mirror as the truck began traveling away from the horde. Rubbing his tan fingers through his curls as he looked over at Dean as the truck went on its way. "That..was close"
Zack raised his bow as Sabita joined him. "I'll talk to her but I won't promise you anything." Watching Sabita's shot fly over into a walkers skull by Joseph and Alejandro. Hearing Alejandro yell for Sabita the archer remembered what the man had said to him not that long ago. Gonna take my Mocha Flower huh? Pulling the string back on his bow he lined up the sights on the mans head.
Zack had won multiple championships back in college when it came to archery. He knew how to counter for the wind and the proper stance to take. Moving his sight away from Alejandro he released an arrow sending the arrow past Alejandros head he wanted to send him a message for threatening the archer earlier. The arrow sailed into a walkers head collapsing the beast before Alejandro could stab it.

Pausing to reload his lever-action, Joseph saw a couple more walkers go down courtesy of arrows from both Sabita and Zack; bringing his rifle back up, he dropped another walker and stepped back. Glancing back towards, he wondered where Dean and the others were, but quickly put those thoughts aside and continued firing at the steadily approaching line of walkers. C'mon, guys, he thought, thinking of Dean, Nick and Mirek, who were on the supply run today, we could use your help right about now...

Dean felt such a relief as they drove, far away from the town. He remembered Nick said it was close, right before the car started. “Yes way too close.” He said looking in the mirror, giving the town one last look as they drove away. “Mirek everything alright back there?” he asked, slightly raising his voice.
Dean kept quiet for the whole road, he was disappointed about what happened. Yes they had some supplies, but some situations that happened, could have ended bad. If something would happen to Nick or even Mirek, he would never forgive himself. So he felt bad for not thinking things through, on the other hand, he felt like he had been cautious enough .
The road to the farm wasn’t that long, so slowly they made their way home. It was very quiet in the car and as they were in reach of the farm , Dean heard gunshot. “Oh no, not good.” He said as he stepped on the gas. “Mirek hold on tight, gunshots from the farm, we need to hurry, so I’m going to speed up!” He yelled before going even faster. "U too baby, the seatbelt." Dean said lookign at Nick
Alejandro remained focused on the corpses coming toward them and the farmhouse that he hasn't noticed Zack's aiming at his head before the arrow hit the skull of the Walker that he intended to stab his knife into. Quickly following where the shot had came from caused dark eyes to start glaring at the man on the roof. Gritting his teeth as the urge to do something to the archer was distracted by corpses that groaned and moved closer. The young man was wondering if Joseph was right about the barn idea as they slowly backed away from the persuading undead towards it. "Joseph if we go to the barn we will become meat in a lunchbox to them." He whispered urgently as he watched the other archer send another arrow into a corpse that came near.

Nick woke up from his silence as the sound of gunshots caught his attention. Checking his gun making sure that it was ready in case things got worse. "Be careful.. Mirek is still back their." The tan man said as his dark eyes looked over at Mirek in the back of the truck. Widening in surprise as the farm came into his view a bit better. Biting his lip roughly as the sight of walkers a little too close for comfort around the walk of the haven.
Taking a deep breath to try and ease his worries that seemed to get larger as the trio got closer. Putting the seat belt on as he heard Dean mention speeding up which he felt. Hoping that everyone was ok inside. Turning his head to the side to let his eyes gaze at the undead seemingly getting more in number the closer they got. Even though he was a optimistic kind of fella Nick couldn't even see the positive the situation at hand.

"No kidding," Joseph whispered back as an arrow bolt took down another walker. "From the wall out there," pausing to re-load his .44 with another couple rounds before continuing, "its' about 250 yards or so back to the farmhouse; the barn's..." pausing to shoot a walker before continuing, "...about halfway or so between them; what I was referring to earlier, Alejandro, was that we should try to hold the walkers off as far forward as possible. The barn's a reference point; if we can hold..." pausing to shoot a walker, "...them at the barn, good. If we can't, then we hold them off as long as possible before leaving."
Looking at the others, he glanced back at Alejandro. "Unfortunately, if it gets to that point," pausing to switch back to his lever-action before continuing to fire, "we may have to leave the farm....I don't want to do that unless and until we absolutely have to, so let's try to hold them off as far away from the farm as possible, alright?"

Flipping through the pages of some continent that was most likely not meant to be seen by a woman like Sisa. Tilting her head in confusion as its images caused a raised brow. The sound of gunshots caught the mother quickly. Scrambling out if the bed to make sure the infant child was ok in her crib. Sighing in relief as her dark brown eyes looked over the still peacefully napping Koya who seemed to be awakening. Grabbing the child once more to be set on the cloth holding her to the back of the raven haired beauty.
Unholstering her pistol half way down the steps before her shoes hit the creaking wood of the living room. What she saw outside the living room window wasn't at all expected. Shaking her head disapprovingly as she quietly opened the front door to exit out of it without drawing attention to herself. Keeping a attentive eye on the walkers that Joseph and Alejandro were leading as her feet came to rest in the view of the man on the roof. Looking up at him before her hands crossed her chest. "Do I need to start packing?" She asked before having to raise the pistol at the shambling Walker that had been in the corner of eye. Thankfully the silencer on it kept the shot from being loud enough for her to worry more then she already was. "This doesn't look good Zack" Sisa said worryingly. As kept her eyes wondering around her as she stood in the front yard talking to the archer.
Zack couldn't help but smirk as Alejandro looked back. Message sent. Grabbing another arrow out of his quiver he readied another arrow as Sisa came into view and asked if they should start packing. Zack examined the walkers thinking about abandoning the farm. "You know what that sounds like a great idea. Grab everything for Koya first before worrying about our stuff."
Hearing the engine of a car he looked to the road searching for signs that it was their friends and not someone new. Seeing their car Zack Pulled the string back on his bow and fired another arrow into a walkers skull that followed Joseph and Alejandro. It kept getting darker as the sun was starting to disappear. The archer was going to have one hell of a time finding a target in the darkness.
The journey back to the farm was a short, but dull one, nothing to really do. But Mirek knew he has the responsibility of watching the truck's back, no matter what. So he did, he continued to look out for biter or anything else out there trying to kill them. Mirek did feel himself drifting off a bit, it'd been a bit since he had gotten proper sleep and enjoyed it instead of drinking himself in to unconsciousness.
The journey was very quiet, atleast for Mirek with the only conversation between him and the the two in the front had to be shouting. Mirek didn't expect to hear gunshots though, especially so close to the farm. It made him more alert than before, something was happening. Dean shouted from the front that he should hold on as they were speeding up, he grabbed the side of the bed of the truck. "Ok, I'm holding on" he shouted back to Dean to confirm he was ready. He had his .44 and his hammer by his side, just in case.
It was clear to Alejandro that he and Joseph must of saw things differently. Firing another bulletin into the skull of a walker before Sabita shot yet another arrow into a shambling corpss skull. Thinking about the situation at head, eyes following the walkers head until it hit the grass. "Fine Joseph" Aiming the gun past the older man at a walker coming from behind. The sound of the walkers body hitting the ground with a thud made it fairly clear what AJ had been aiming at. "But just so you know.. Bullets don't grow on trees. Wasting ammunition in a time of turmoil is pointless and dangerous." He said with a groan, swinging his machete to cut into the side of a nearby walkers decaying face. Pausing a mere second as the sound of a vehical approaching tickled his ears among the groans and snarls of hungry corpses. Sighing, feeling a bit better at the thought of the others returning.

"Thank you for the reminder, Alejandro," Joseph said as the four of them - Joseph, Zack, Sabita and Alejandro - continued falling back towards the farm. He thought, I don't need any reminder about bullets; I'm already pacing myself on rounds, switching between his lever-action, pistol and trench knife as the situation required.
Hearing the sound of a vehicle approaching, Joseph turned and quickly looked; sure enough, there was a vehicle coming. About time, he thought as he took down another snarling walker with his trench knife, hoping they'd come just in time to fight back the ever-encroaching walkers and not to have to assist in an evacuation...

Watching Sabita,Joseph, and Alejandro keep moving back away from the incoming horde of walkers, turning around to face the Walker she had just killed, taking the tomahawk of her's ff from hanging on her side. Gritting her teeth before she went to work cutting open the corpse. "Wow I forgot how gross this was" the raven haired mother said as her hand got covered in old blood that was being spread about on her clothing.
The he change of blue to a shade of pink and purple in the sky was becoming more noticible. Sisa knew it would become night soon which was exactly her reasoning or covering herself in guts and blood. It certainly wasn't for a fashion statement in any way. Getting off one knee once her cloths and face were fairly covered in blood and grime. Slowly walking toward the rv's checking the doors to make sure they were not locked. Sighing in relief once they all opened fine.
"What the?" She said to herself as the noise of a incoming vehical. Praying silently that it was Nick,Dean and Mirek an not somebody new. Making way toward the farmhouse for some of their things. Managing to walk. Past a shuffling corpse with it only turning its head in her direction without persuading. Opening the front door with a deep breath as the floor creaked. Locking the door behind her just in case any undead managed to get past Zack on the roof.
It didn't take her long to gather Koya's diaper bag with the assistance from her father. What had taken a long time was getting the ass of the bawling teenager to haul it down the stairs. Normally Sisa would of been understanding but this wasn't a normal situation at all. It was once that could lead to her daughter being in danger which changed everything for the protective mother.
Once in view of the handsome man on the roof Sisa waved at Zack with the storm lantern held in Isabella arm. "Things getting better or worse?" She asked before slowly returning back to one of the rv's. Holding her weapon ready at the entrance as she waited for the others to unload. Smearing some grime from her hands onto her forehead.
