Brian looked toward Abby. "We start by stopping the yelling and fighting. Then maybe seperate ourselves. Different rooms. If it can work for a five and an eight year old it should be able to work for adults."
He moved around, "we just nee to clear our heads before someone ends up getting hurt beyond what I can fix." He looked at her as Sarah stormed out.
Abby said he needed to fix this and he turned to look away. He didn't know how to fix it, this wasn't on him. "You want me to? Wouldn't you be better suited? You're like a sister to her."
He moved on his crutches "I'll try," he said moving out to the porch. He looked at Sarah and Jay waiting for them to finish up talking.
Sarah was floored, utterly shocked by what Jay asked her. She loved the kid and would die to protect him, but she had never tried to take his mom's place for fear of pushing too far. Now he was asking, it was what he wanted to do," if that is what you want to do, of course you can." She kissed the top of his head and stepped back." I don't want you to do anything you don't want to do." She didn't want him to feel he had to, to get her to stay. She glanced past Jay and saw Brian out on the porch.
Sarah took a deep breath," alright, time to go back inside." She put her arm around Jay and started waking back to the porch. At the steps, she locked eyes on Brian's " Abby send you out here?" She raised a brow and shook her head," it's alright, I'm staying." She ruffled Jays hair," God reminded me , I had things to do and people to take care of." She smiled at Brian, the. Frowned," look, I , reacted poorly, I let my feelings get the best of me." She glanced towards the second floor," it won't happen again." Sarah looked back at Brian," that girl has a temper, but she's hurt, and we need to help her," she gave Jay a squeeze and looked at him," right?"

"I want to." He assured her. "I know that my family would want me to move on and I have." he gave her a small smile and let her lead him to the porch to where Brian was. He listened as she talked to Brian, his thoughts going towards his old family and how happy they might be now that he decided to move on. When Sarah turned to him and gave his shoulder a squeeze, he looked up at her. When she said "right?" questionably, he nodded. "Right."
Brian looked at Sarah and Jay as they came closer to the porch. He moved to the side so they could come up the stairs and smiled in their direction. After she spoke he nodded.
"Glad you decided to stay. The farm wouldn't be the same without you. I admire your presence here, you bring faith and hope to the farm," he said looking at Jay, "and yes Abby did send me out, but I didn't know what to say that you didn't already know."
He looked at Jay, "I'm glad you saw the good, and God." Brian wasn't a man of faith, not like her. He attended church with his family. Not as often as he should, but he did go. His wife was always more religious than he had been, praying for him every night when he was gone.
He looked at the door. "I suggested everyone just seperate for a bit, different rooms. I think we just need to cool off. After that we can discuss everything that needs to be discussed."
Sarah stared at him, a little surprised at how he said the farm needed her. She glanced at Jay," he knew what to say." Sarah kissed his head and then looked back at Brian. " yea, that's probably a good idea. I will leave Charles up to you and Max. I can't deal with him, but I will stay close to Jay, til we figure that out." She glanced at the door," we need to figure out why that girl is so angry. I don't want her going off like that whenever it suits her, it's not fair to the others. She could have hurt someone, Brian, and we keep her away from weapons." She looked at Brian," if you are still listening to me, that's my vote, guess it's up to Abby and Max too." She wished Amber was here to see how the girl acted. Sarah was certain Amber would have reacted a lot like she had.
Sarah released Jay and moved to the door and inside. She dropped her pack on the sofa and stared at Max," you and Brian can deal with Charles, I am gonna stay, but stay close to Jay," she stared at Max and waited for his reaction.
"Fine stay with Jay, we can handle Charles. It shouldn't be a problem. You are best to keep clear anyway. We'll get it done, and everything handled. You relax, or watch the wall. Maybe help Louis or see if any of the new people need help."
He moved on his crutches following her inside. "As for the girl we don't need to decide right away. I'll convince her she can't leave as she can't even walk. Then when she's better we can re asses her. I know she's dangerous, but we can hae someone watch her. Dean and I will try and be by her to watch her. Maybe we can learn something about her, she was probably a normal girl once."
He looked Max awaiting his answer.

Max saw Abby go into the hallway an could hear her talking to the door. "She won't answer you. She's stubborn," he called to her with a laugh, "maybe we'll get lucky and she's drowning herself in there."
A moment later Brian and Sarah came in. Brian was going on about he girl and Max just looked at him. "You mean you can't decide yet? She needs to go, end of story. Put the farm at risk. We bag her and drop her like the other mouthy cunt we had. Or if she refuses we kill like we did Art."
Sarah spoke about Charles and Brian and him handling it. Max blinked at her. "Now that I can do. Let me talk to him alone. We can see eye to eye." He grabbed Brian's crutches and helped the man to the couch.
Max slowly limped up the stairs, one crutch under his arm. He hopped up the stairs to the top and into the room. He was up their for a few minutes, silence only heard from below.
After a while he came down. He looked at Sarah. "Charles agreed to leave. He will be gone in a few moments. I told him he can take a weeks worth of water and food, some snares I have made, his weapons and personal belongings. He will take the Knight, and two other weapons. If anyone wishes to go with him they can, but he's gone. He won't be coming back. There's no arguing it."
He looked away, "I thought you should know."
Charles is now out of the farm. If he comes back he will have to RP somewhere else
Sarah watch Max go upstairs. Why was she trembling? She couldn't help it. Max was going up there to talk to a man she loved, the man who kept her safe for the last two years, but who had betrayed her. She couldn't keep standing and found herself sinking down into a chair. She saw Abby standing I. The hall, and raised a brow. She realized the girl was in there, once she saw the clothes in Abbys hands.
She didn't know what to do. She wanted to cry, to scream and yell at Charles, but what good would that do, really? She looked at Brian, then saw Jay," you want to go in the kitchen and get some food?" She imagined he was hungry. Sarah stood up and then heard Max coming back down. She heard him and could only nod. Clearing her throat," I'm going to go help in the kitchen, I can't.." Her voice trailed off as she got up and headed to the kitchen. She couldn't watch him leave.

Jay followed Sarah into the kitchen, listening to the others. Once he had walked in, he walked over to the table and sat down, chin resting on his hand. His thoughts started to wonder to the other members of the group. He still didn't know what to think of some of them, mainly because he was afraid to get close. Of course, his school life never did help with his inability to get close to others.

Max nodded at Sarah, "I understand. Take your time. He's with you for the longest time. Meh betrayed you, and will be gone soon." Max watched her leave an used the crutch to hobble over to Abby.
Max tapped her on the shoulder and smiled. "Charles is leaving. I think Sarah is upset. Being close to her, maybe you should talk to her. She's in the kitchen."
Max moved back, "I'll get a few people to help Charles move out and then we can deal with the girl in the bathroom."
Max left the room back to the kitchen. He saw two girls from the farm talking to a rather sleepy medic. "Dean. I need you to load the Knight. It should be unlocked. Have a jug of water and a crate of food put in. Also load whatever bags Charles brings out."

Max moved back to where Abby was. He looked at her. "She answer back yet? You think she's okay, didn't kill herself or anything did she." He pressed his ear to the door. "I don't hear anything, just water running. How long has she been in there."
Max bangs his fist on the door. "All Right open up. We need to speak to you. I think it was agreed you could stay, at least until you're healed. As much as I don't like it that's the outcome. So open up and come on out, we can get you a hot meal, maybe talk and calm things down. Promise I won't stare, to much. I've probably done a lot worse."
He banged again. After a while of silence he looked at Abby. "Okay something's wrong." Max tried to handle but the door was locked. Throwing his shoulder into it he busted through the door. The lock broke free and Max stsred at what was inside.
The water was left runnig, the window above the toilet wide open. The girl was gone. Max rushed forward and shut off the water before it overflowed. Turning back to Abby he looked at her. "Well that's one problem solved."
