As everyone came back to the motel it was time to settle in for the evening. Nicholas and Remy were still on patrol and come morning, they would prepare to head out.
(Conversation continued from the other site with Luca --)
"Yea, you're feelin something alright. You need to pick your battles better."
Remy placed her hands on the back of one of the chairs that surrounded a metal and glass patio table as she leaned against it. She was feeling sore and would welcome a few hours laying down on one of the dingy motel beds, but it was not her time to rest. She tried to stretch a bit, gripping the chair as she leaned forward, then leaned back to loosen up her back.
"What was that anyways? It doesn't matter if Viv gave Wilkson some food. What matters is that he's gone and we should keep our heads on straight."
Again, she had no idea what transpired between Anthony, Luca and Vivian before she met the group so maybe Luca would fill her in. And if there wasn't anything, maybe se would just learn a bit more about his personality. She was starting to wonder if this was the right group for her or if she was going to be better off on her own. The thought of being alone for months on end again sent a bit of a lump to her throat.
Turning to face him now as he casually held the rifle, her eyes moved towards the barrel of the gun before moving back to meet his gaze.
"Look, I'm not saying you need to be a stand up guy, but that look in your eye? You enjoyed scaring them and it makes me wonder..."
She paused for a second as she searched for the right way to finish that sentence. His answer would either keep her closer or push her further away from the group.
"Should I be scared of you?"
