"Oh, that bed is occupied alright." He took a sip of the Jim Beam from his cup as some of the meat was passed his way. He found it funny she didn't ask what would happen if she guessed it wrong and as he gnawed on his skewer he watched as she mulled over the taste. He was still surprised Juilus wanted to stay out in his RV. It was certainly safer, in his opinion, inside the house, but the locked gates out front would keep him safe enough. That, and he could be the first line of defense should something happen. An alarm bell of sorts.
"Well done!" He set the meat and cup down clapping for her. The others just stood and watched as he placed a hand on her shoulder and whispered in her ear.
Leigh's eyes widened as Acer revealed the truth--it was his bed. She had a fear that the man--the creep--was going to pull this. She didn't let the shock show on her face for too long, though. Instead, she did her best to act as if she wasn't, initially, moved by his words. She took another bite of alligator, but swallowing was suddenly much more difficult--probably nerves. No doubt Acer was waiting for a reaction. Maybe he was fucking with her. Maybe he wasn't. Maybe he was a psychotic pervert.
Leigh needed to do something, though. She slowly placed the plate down. "Your bed?" She gently, but deliberately placed her hand on the holster of her loaded handgun. "Not anymore, it's not." What if the man called her bluff? What if he just shot her for reaching for her gun? Didn't matter, the die had been cast.

Acer ate and drank with everyone else. There were conversations among them but both Julius and Leigh would notice very few women amid the men. Only a couple really and they were treated with enough respect. Everyone was treated with respect as long as they did what they were supposed to do. He looked over to Julius who had gone quiet while he ate. It had been a long time since they had juicy meat and although it was not like eating a tender steak, he was not one to complain. They had won the lottery with it and it was enough to share. Everything was to be shared. Leigh had guess correctly and he laughed at that.
"Well done. You have an educated palate." Not that is really took much to figure it out, but when he mentioned it was his bed she stiffened up. That reaction alone pleased him. He watched as her hand was placed on the butt of the gun, claiming the bed for herself. That amused him even further as he raised a brow.
"Well, certainly not for tonight. You won it, fair and square. But if you want to pull a gun on me, I'll make you try and find the room, alone. In a house full of a bunch of lonely guys who don't really care how old you are."
Julius watched them interact, the girl freak out at Acer's comment. The hand was on her gun and his went slowly to the bak of his machete. He pulled it out, the sheath making a soft swishing noise. He placed it in front of him, the blafe going agaisnt the alligator. He took a bite and let the juices flow. He didn't blame the girl, but he was pretty sir the man was lying. He had his own women upstairs, didn't need to hurt a little girl.
Julius never got enjoyment from that, any women, or men. His enjoyment came from finer things, like knives and blood. He got his enjoyment from killing, craved that, savoured it. His mouth watered at the thought of chopping someone up, seeing them squirm and scream. He bet the little girl would fight it, but eventually, even the strongest men and women caved and cried.
He smiled and looked up at them, "so who wants to see a trick?"
Leigh's hand left her holster as slowly as it reached it. Acer wouldn't try anything fucked up, thank god, and Leigh would play by the rules. She didn't want to be caught in a house without the leader's protection. Apparently the other guys weren't as "kind" as Acer was. "Alright. No problems from me, no problems from you. Seems fair." Leigh turned to leave the room, maybe find an empty room for the moment, get away from these guys. She'd try and book it tomorrow. One night in a real bed would be nice, but Leigh didn't want to fuck with these guys.
As she turned to leave the room, however, the other man, Julius, who had unsheathed his machete as Leigh reached for her gun, asked if they'd like to see a "trick." Leigh turned, her eyes narrowing. "Uh..sure..."
Acer smirked as Leigh Anne backed down. That's exactly the way he wanted it to be. He knew that there were other bigger, badder men out there and as long as they listened to his rules and contributed to the survival of the group in the walls of Seeshell, then they could do whatever they wanted. And they did whatever they wanted.
"Good. You get a good night's sleep tonight. I have a job for you tomorrow."
He spoke as if she was already trapped within the walls of the manor and he was going to accompany her to to the room when Julius popped up with machete in hand.
Great now they wanted to see something. He didn't have anything planned, the lighting wasn't right, and he had this itch. What could he show them? Truthfully he just said that to get them to shut up and stop talking about the bed. It was an awkward conversation he wasn't having any of it. His eyes went to the people in the room.
Stepping back he clapped his hands together in one big clap. He reached for a deck of cards, stacked and sorted between two men. Pulling them up he shuffled them.
"You like magic Leigh? Cars tricks? Of Course you do. You're a kid. Who doesn't. I bet Acer has seems thi one before. The disappearing card. You see I take one card, a single card," he split the deck in half and picked out the middle card. Throwing the rest of the decl behind him he smiled and held up the single card.
"See I don't even need the rest to make it disapear. I just fold it in half, then again and again." He licked his lips as he spoke, "see now it's hard, solid, pointed. It simple." He stepped near the guard who originally was playing with the deck. "I just make is disapear."
He jabbed it in the side of the man's head and then knocked it flat with his palm of his hand. The man fell over and Julius pulled a bloody hand back. "Ta dah."
He turned and started to leave, walking down towards his camper.
A lone man staggered through the streets. His suit is still rather pristine, save for a single bullet hole in his arm, and blood is trickled down his arm. "Damn traitors...Turning on the man who had kept them safe." Michael muttered, holding his bleeding arm and looking for a new place to hold out. It was then he saw the white smoke, which meant wood fire, which meant people hopefully. "Alright Michael, it's your lucky day maybe." He kept working towards the smoke and found the gate. "Hey!" He shouted, looking in for people. "Anybody in there?"
Acer watched as Julius folded up the card, making a little magic trick for Leigh. He was curious about this trick himself wondering what sort of slight of hand Julius was going to pull. As Julius put on the show, he inched closer to Raul who was standing there watching also. His deck of cards were taken away, after all.
The card was jammed, like a dagger into Raul's head and he crossed his arms with a stern look on his face. Raul was a good guard, always looking out for them and one of the few he trusted to go up to the third floor and take care of the girls locked up without thinking he should take a test drive. He was almost sure Raul was gay, but it never came up in conversation.
"Nice trick. Now you get to go from magician to janitor." He put his hand against Leigh's shoulder, pushing her forward gently as he escorted her back into the house.
"Oh my--what the fuck!?" Leigh screamed, her voice cracking. "Why the fuck did...you killed him!" Leigh turned to sprint away. Nothing was worth this, but Acer grabbed her shoulder. She turned angrily to the man who was supposed to be in charge. "He just killed one of your men! A...person! You're gonna stand for that!?" Leigh's eyes were welling up with tears from the emotional trauma of what she'd seen. Apparently Acer did care, but not enough to do anything but demote Julius, make him clean up. The guy's a fucking killer!
Maybe...maybe they all were...
Leigh scratched at her arm nervously, holding back tears, only with some success. Acer's arm was on her shoulder, still, and he began to lead her somewhere.

Julius has missed this feeling, the killing. He missed this, taking the unexpected life. He misse the blood and the killing. Most of all he missed the reactions. He misse people screw in a freaking out over his kills. The way they looked at him after, he craved that look, the look of disproved and shook. His bloodlust was what drove that, it was good to feel it again.
The girls reaction was perfect, her shock and terror. Acer seemed angry, which was expected. Julius had killed one of his men, taken his guards life. Julius expected him to be angrier though, it displeased him. Instead the man just seemed displeased, like he had expected it, and was okay with it. Julius didn't get this, but it made him smile. Then Acer told him to clean it up, Julius just glared.
"No I won't clean it up. I'm not a janitor. Have one of your other men do it," Julius said. He was going agaiant Acer and it felt good, it felt good to fill again. He smirked and drew his machete. This man had made a mistake letting him in his home. He would kill him, the guards, and the girl. Then he would skin the whore upstairs and drape them like a flag outfront. This would be his palace, palace of death.
He swung the machete out and felt it hit a target, a guard who had gotten to close. It chopped the man's neck, letting the blood spill out. He watched the man drop to his knees and then pulled the machete from the man's throat. He swung it to the other side, taking out the calves of a rushing guard. The muscles turned to strings and sinew as he ripped it out and the guard fell screaming. He placed the tip of the machete against Acer and smirked. "You clean this place up."
Acer watched as Julius turned from being one of them to suddenly being a man on his own island. He did not work well with others and that was a damn shame. He was garnering a fine reaction from Leigh and now even more reaction from the others. If he didn't stop Julius now, he would have a full blown revolution on his hands. He watched as the machete came down on another guard that was just trying to enjoy a hot meal of meat and protein. When the guard approached Julius, his neck was chopped and swung to another, who had his muscles torn open, bringing him to his knees. But Julius was not done yet. The damage had been done and Julius had gone too far.
He finally let Leigh go as guns were drawn now as the madman made his threat. He looked sternly at Julius as the pools of blood started to form around their feet.
"That's disappointing. I thought you could be one of us, but instead, you became one of them."
His eyes turned to the trees for just a moment before he reached to his back, pulling out a small snub nosed revolver. His reflexes were like lightning as he pointed the barrel of the gun at Julius' head. Without a second thought the trigger was pulled. Then again. Then again.
If Julius didn't die from the three shots to the head, then he would die after he was taken upstairs. He looked down at the man and shook his head, calm and collected as ever while talking to the three others that were standing over the two dead guards.
"Take his body to the third floor. Feed the girls."
As he stepped away towards Leigh, his bloody boot prints stained the floor. His disappointment was clear upon his face and it was his fault these two men were dead and a third was injured. He would have to make amends somehow. He brought the lunatic inside and he would have to replenish their guards. Finally he stopped and turned around to the group.
"Take your posts. This party is over. Lights out. Locks on."
Julius saw the flash and heard the bang. One shot was all it took but two followed. The bullet pushes through his head, bouncing around inside. The mixed up what little was inside before exiting out different areas. They went into the floor, the wall, and his body. He fell back, flat on his back. He made a splash, Sending splashes of blood up from the pool below him.
His arms hit the guards wo were dead around him, his eyes staring lifelessly up at the ceiling. His face was contorted into one last smile. Like that he was gone, an empty husk. He was avoid of life, dead. He wouldn't be turning, but the guard he chopped in the neck would.
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
