Dean was still crying over Annie her body. It hurt so damn much, that he had to lose her. She gave him a chance, she let him join the farm and they really build sort of a connection. Dean wiped the tears of his face and looked once more in Annie her eyes. They were still open and he could see the fear. So he placed his hand on her face on closed her eyes. “I hope you are at a better place now.” Dean said as once more a tear ran down his face.
Then he heard someone yelling his name. Dean his first reaction was to place his hand on the holster of his gun, so that he was prepared, but then he heard it was Joseph. “I’m in here!” He yelled back, the sadness was clearly heard in his the tone of his voice. Dean slowly got up and looked once more at his dead friend. He knew that he had to make sure she didn’t turn into one of them, but he just couldn’t do it.

Nick hated all the gunshots and noise. Walking slowly in short burst of quickness as he wanted to make sure Dean was ok. A cultist surprised him when she tried to grab his arm but luckily he was able to hit her a cross the face with his gun. Fireing a bullet into the stun cultist face before he ran. Dark brown eyes glanced around quickly as he spotted the structure which he assumed was where his love was. Quickly he turned in that direction before feeling a sting of something graze his cheek. Cupping a tan hand over it and to his relief their wasnt as much blood as he'd expected.
Grabbing the handle to the door hastily as he slid in quitely among the sounds outside. Deep brown eyes focused on what he caught sight of before him. Listening to Deans words as he stepped closer watching the wound on the man's throat cause him to gurgle. Nicks tan face scrunched up in disgust feeling a odd sadness for the person. Dean took his focus though once he saw the blood coming from the busted lip.
"Dean what happen" He spilled out through soft lips as he walked over to the brown haired man near the red head he had met this morning. Trying to comfort the injured lover he hugged him gently and carefully. Not knowing if Dean was the one to take comfort in times of grief. Stareing at the dead body and seeing no Injurys to the head made him point his gun at the dead women. "She will turn if someone dosent shoot her head" He mumbled knowing it sounded bad but he'd rather shoot her then she cooking back and attacking them. Quickly fireing a bullet into the lady's skull as his eyes looked over at the crying man. Putting a arm over his shoulder trying to wipe away the blood off his lips and tears.

Dean heard a different voice asking what happened. This one was more familiar and gave him a rather good feeling. He looked in the direction and noticed his boyfriend standing there. He probably had seen how Dean killed the cultist, but he figured Nick would understand. Dean felt how Nick hugged him and he cried even more. “It’s horrible, they killed her Nick, they just killed her.” Dean said as he cried in the arms of his lover. He laid his head on Nick his chest and he was happy that there was someone, who was there for him.
Then he heard how Nick said they had to shoot Annie. This was rather a hard moment for Dean, but he knew that Nick was right. He looked one last time at Annie and then nodded, shortly after that he heard the final gunshot. Tears kept coming, normally Dean was a strong guy, but for some reason the dead of Annie really got to him. He felt how Nick cleaned the blood of his busted lip and wiped of his tears. Dean looked up at Nick and stared in his eyes. “I know I might seem weak now, but what happened today, will make sure I will never let anything happen to you, I rather die myself then lose you.” He said in between sobs.

Salty tears soaked his tshirt as his love laid his crying head against his chest as he embraced him. Gently brushing Deans hair as small tears came out of his eyes at the sight of Dean so upset. "People die a lot these days.. " Nick said rather sadly not sure what to say as he tried to keep himself from crying in sympathy for Dean. "At least she is in a better place Dean. She won't have to suffer this cruel world anymore" the tan man said looking on the horrible bright side of the situation. Thinking about all the times he and Alfie had seen so many people get eaten to the point of going loner. All of the people that were dead were not living in fear of the dead anymore. A sigh escaped his lips after the gun went off and he knew she was now fully dead. Hearing the words his love said made him cry. Quickly he wiped his tears angrily at Dean briefly for bringing the thought into the air and now in his head. Hiding his small anger as he held on to Deans hand trying to pull him up to his feet. "No you won't die! Especially for me. Now come on the others need us" He said softly as he sniffled. Looking away from Dean as he spoke.

Hearing Dean's voice, Joseph entered the barn once more, the echoes of gunfire still in his ears. Walking over to the younger man, he said, "looks like everything's settled..." pausing as he watched another man - Nickiah, he thought - quickly walk over and put a bullet into Annie's head before she turned. Holstering his own revolver, Joseph looked at the two men and quietly said, "Guys, its' gonna' sound cold, but lets' give Annie a proper burial if we can."
Pausing to catch his breath, he put a hand on both Dean and Nickiah's shoulders and spoke to them quietly as if he were back in Utah at his old LDS ward church consoling someone. "Guys, I know its' gonna' be hard losing someone close to us like Annie but the least we can do for her now is to give her a proper burial. Its' going to hard for all of us without her here but we've got to persevere and survive. The last thing I suspect she would want is for us to lose our heads right now - yes, I know that sounds cold, but we've got to keep our heads together. Shed'd want us to make our stand here, on this homestead, and that's what we should do."
After taking a long breath, he added, his voice taking on an icy tone as he spoke. "Let's remember Annie for the person she was, okay, guys? Let's remember her for who she was and how she lived, not for what happened here....but I'm gonna' tell you guys this: if I ever get a hold of that man again at some point in the future, the one who sliced her, he is gonna' wish he had never come across me, her, all of us here or this place..and that is a promise, gentlemen. As God as my witness, that is a promise." Joseph didn't have to tell them who he was referring to; he knew Dean who he was talking about and that's all he had to say.
Vince looked straight at the two women. He knew the one but had never seen the other. The pregnant woman seemed to trust her and that was good enough for him. He knew Zack wouldn't just shack her up with strangers they couldn't trust. The one with the bow could probably do more damage af protect the pregnant woman better than he could. For now he would do wha the could to help the pregnant lady and the one with the bow, he really needed to learn names.
He stepped through the door and allowed them to close it behind him. He held his rifle, holding it with both his hands. He looked at them and then moved to the window.
"Fire fight broke out," he said holding the rifle up, "Zack chased the leader of the group that Attacked us. Doc said run back here, I don't know about the others. He was last with the guy with long brown hair. The red head, I think...I think they killed her," he said with a sadnened look. "I was told to come here, so here I am."

Dean heard how Nick tried to comfort him, it helped, but crying in the arms of someone that loved him felt even better. He was glad Nick was there for him. “I know she is in a better place, but it still hurts.” Dean said softly as he tried to stop even more tears from coming out.
Mere seconds later he felt how Nick tried to pull him from the ground and told him he wouldn’t die and that the others needed them. Dean used Nick his hand and got up from the floor, before wiping off his tears.
“It will take time to heal and forget what happened today, but I guess you are right, we need to check how the others are doing.” Dean said softly. “And I’m glad you are safe.” He said as he pulled Nick into a hug. The sadness of losing Annie, took away the attention of keeping Nick safe and now he was sad because of the loss, but glad Nick was ok.
Just then Dean heard a voice, he looked in the direction of the sound and saw Joseph. He said Annie needed a proper burial. “No it’s not cold Joseph you are right, she deserves that.” Dean said in the same sad tone. Then Dean felt Joseph’s hand on his shoulder. Dean nodded in agreement as Joseph spoke some encouraging words. “You are right Joseph.” Dean said softly.
Dean then heard a small tone change in Joseph his voice as he talked about the bastard that killed Annie. “Well make that both of us.” Dean said as his voice turned for sad to angry.
Everything was moving. Zack stumbled past the tree's the evil drug taking its effect on the mans brain. Trying to find the farm Zack couldn't find his own footprints. Seeing the barn he quickly picked up the pace. Reaching up to his neck he felt the needle and pulled it out. Staring at the needle he noticed it was still half full.
Zack heard voices coming from the barn. Following the voices he came upon the scene. "I..." Zack's eyes settled on Annies body. "Was it him?" Zack knew he wouldn't have to explain who he was talking about.

Looking over at Dean for a moment, Joseph heard him go along with what he'd said about getting the man who had killed Annie. "Do you know what a blood oath is, Dean?" Joseph asked him, adding after a moment, "Well, we just made one." Looking around, he began to say something when he heard someone else enter the barn. Whirling around to see who it was, he relaxed a moment when he saw Zack, who seemed out of sorts. I..." Zack's eyes settled on Annies body. "Was it him?"
"Yeah, it was him," Joseph said to him, the image of the stranger drawing the blade across Annie's throat still fresh in his mind. Coughing a moment, he added, "We're going to give Annie a proper burial; you want to help us?"
Raising a dark black eyebrow to the man who said something about the redhead dieing. Glancing over at the pregant lass who burst into tears once she had heard the news. Shaking her head and breathing a big sigh. Rejecting the Sisa's attempt to touch her for some sort of comfort. Not so used to dealing with sadness as death slowly became s fact of life when people are dieing everyday and especially when dead are walking around you every day. Running her fingers through her hair as she took a moment to not be to harsh on the man's choice of worse. "Great choice of words... " Her dark brown eyes looked at Sisa and then the man. Lowering her bow slightly as she opened and walked out the door. "Babysit her, comfort her, bloody shut her crying or else a walker might hear.." She mumbled as she stood in the door way briefly "Location?" She asked before hearing noises from the shed and walked towards it. Shaking her head knowing to be in at least a more polite tone. Seeing as these people were grieving. Once she reached the group of survivors her eyes scanned for the big guy from last night. "Man whoever pregnated the Sisa woman.. Please go and stop her crying she is worried sick about you" She said to whoever that was.
Post by Sisa Huamani on May 30, 2015 0:34:06 GMT -5
The news hit her suddenly. It was unexpected. Sisa had started getting used to the group getting in harmful situations and everyone coming out alright. The bandits at the summer camp, survived it, crazy cultist negotian, survived and Zack was relatively safe, and now another Attack. But this time someone she started getting used died. In a world where someone can be gone a second later the mother to be wasn't used to it. Tears formed on her eyes and slid down her tan cheeks. Trying to find comfort she tried to hug the nearest thing which was Sabita. But all she got was a shove and then she heard her tell Vince to watch her. Now she sat on the couch trying to wipe her tears as she thought about Annie and then the sudden worry about er her baby daddy came to mind. Where is Zack is he safe? What about the others... Are the bad folks gone? All the questions flew by at a million miles per hour.
Vince was taken back by the archers cold words. It was obvious she didn't care, then why was she here? Who even was she? If she wasn't with the group and didn't care about them then why was she risking her life. Why was he himself risking his life? He looked at hisbpack and debated just running, but he couldn't, he had to help them.
He looked at the pregnant girl crying and then at his feet. It was the wrong thing to say, but he didn't want her going out there and seeing it herself, breaking down out in the open. It was best done now, while they were still safe. He was just glad she didn't try and leave, he may not be able to stop her if she had tried.
Vince sat beside her and spoke softly, "Shh, it's okay. Zack is safe," he said trying to reassure her, "he was with the Doc, and the young guy. The guy with long hair was there too," he said as he placed on hand on her to comfort her. "You're safe, it will be alright." He remembered the school, how the kids cried when they lost their parents. He didn't comfort then but he watched, remembered the leader rubbing her hand along there back, speaking softly. Vince moved his hand to her back and rubbed it as he spoke softy gain, "it will all be allright,no one else will get hurt."

Before either Dean, Nick or Zack could answer his question, he heard someone else's voice, a woman's voice - Sabita, he thought it was - asking if someone would please comfort Sisa back at the farmhouse. Thinking quickly, Joseph made up his mind on what needed to be done for the time being.
Looking over towards Zack, Joseph said, pointing towards him, "Zack, go be with Sisa back at the farmhouse and keep an eye on everything; just because whoever attacked us is gone doesn't mean they won't be back," adding, "If you see Mirek, tell him to come over to the barn."
Glancing over at the others, he quickly spoke; as much as he wanted to grieve, he had to set those thoughts aside for the time being. "Dean, I know I said something about giving Annie a proper burial, but under the circumstances, we may not be able to, given the fact that the ground still feels hard as a rock and with all the other bodies lying around. Do you have any objections to building a funeral pyre and setting it alight? We can make one separate for Annie while we can just place these other corpses," pointing at some of the other bodies lying around, "all together on another one."
Pausing, he added, "I know it sucks to burn the bodies rather than bury them, but it may be better to do that...any objections?"

Dean looked behind him as Zack walked in. Joseph told him what happened, Dean just stayed in Nick his arms as he felt incredibly sad. Just then the woman from yesterday walked in and said Sisa was crying. “Of course she is crying, it’s very sad news.” Dean said in a slight annoyed tone. Then he heard how Jo told Zack to go inside to take care of Sisa. “Yes Zack she needs you.” Dean said with a small smile.
Just then Joseph talked and those words hit Dean his heart. He felt his anger coming back, he got out of Nick his arms and looked at the doc. “I couldn’t care less what happens with the bodies of those filthy sons of bitches.” Dean said rather angry. “But.” He added and paused again as a tear ran down his face. “We are giving Annie the burial, no matter how hard this fucking ground still is.” He added in the same angry tone. “That’s the least she deserves god fucking dammit.” He said as he looked at the body, while some tears made their way down his cheek.

"I agree; my apologies there....I had to ask," Joseph said glumly, feeling about as angry for having broached the idea as Dean was for him having asked. Looking over towards Nick, Joseph said, "Head back to the farmhouse and bring back a large bedsheet that we wrap Annie's body in," Glancing back at Dean, he added, "What can we use to dig for a grave? Do we have shovels, a backhoe, anything?" thinking that the sooner they could give Annie a proper burial, the better. We don't know what's out there still, he thought as he waited for Dean to answer, so the sooner we can get to work, the better...
Post by Dean LeMarchal on Jun 4, 2015 18:43:44 GMT -5
Dean slowly felt the anger fading away as Joe apologized. Then the man told Nick to get a large bed sheet. “Yes that is a good plan.” Dean said. “Be careful though.” He added before kissing Nick his soft lips. Then he turned back to Joe as he asked what they could use to dig. “There are the shovels.” He said as he pointed to the corner.
Then there was an awkward silence as walked over the shovels. He turned around and walked back, giving on to Joe. “Look I know you didn’t mean to be rude earlier.” Dean said and paused. “But it wasn’t the right timing to ask that and I’m sorry for getting so angry.” He added. Then he looked down and tried his best to not cry. “But I would never just burn the body.” He said as he looked up.
Then he sighed. “Any idea wh….where….w…we can bury her.” Dean said in a very sad tone, again trying to keep the tears from flowing out his eyes.
Post by Joseph MacMillan on Jun 4, 2015 23:37:45 GMT -5
"No problem, Dean," Joseph said as he took one of the shovels from him. "Like I said, I had to ask. Sooner we can get this done, though, the better; with all the gunshots, we're sure to attract any walkers within earshot." It sounded cold of him to say that last part but given the seemingly uncanny ability of walkers to head towards sound, it was sound advice.
Stepping outside the barn, Joseph looked around, trying to find a nice place where they could lay Annie to rest. Spying a copse of March flowers growing near a tall oak tree towards the front of the farmhouse, he called out to Dean and pointed towards the spot. "See the early-growing flowers out there, next to that oak tree?" Joseph said. "Well, to borrow the words of the great Mormon leader Brigham Young, 'That is the place.'"
Post by Dean LeMarchal on Jun 8, 2015 12:38:55 GMT -5
Dean just nodded to Joe his reply. Then they walked outside and Joe found a spot to burry Annie.
“Seems good to me.” Dean said softly.
Then they walked over and started to make everything ready. After everything was ready, they rolled Annie in the bed sheet and softly lowered her body in the hole. Dean kept himself strong the whole time, but doing this made the tears appear again. “I hope you are in a better place now, you deserve that.” He said in between sobs.
