Annie went in slowly at first, but quickly moved to the tractor. She tossed up her gun and glanced towards the door. There wasn't much light. She could barely make out Dean.
She started to climb up and felt something grab her legs. She was jerked down hard and she immediately screamed. "Dean!"
The thing had ahold of her leg and was trying to climb up her. Annie kicked as best she could , hands clinging to the side of the tractor. "Dean!!!" Her gun laid up in the seat of the tractor. Damnit! How did this thing get in here? It was basically a torso, from what she could see. She kicked at the hands trying to get them off her leg!

Dean waited for Annie to start the engine, while keeping an eye out. He was just thinking it took long when he heard a yell which formed his name. He quickly turned around and rushed into the direction of Annie not seconds later a seconds yell followed. When he was close enough he saw a torso hanging on Annie her leg. Dean stopped raised is gun aimed and the bullet shot right through his brain, causing it to drop on the floor.
“You ok ?” Dean asked under is breath from the adrenaline and the running. While he waited on an answer he looked down to check if it was dead, it didn’t move so it was good. “We better hurry, if there is one here already more will be on their way.” He said as he looked at Annie. “Thank god I had my silencer on, so the gun shot won’t lure anymore, but it was getting crowded already outside when I left to come and get you, so yeah we have to hurry.” Dean said with a smile.

Well, time to head back towards the farm, Joseph thought as he made his way around the farm grounds. Suddenly, for a moment, he stopped and quickly looked around, thinking he'd heard something. "Am I hearing things?" he whispered, quickening his pace towards the farmhouse, when he stopped again and looked towards one of the barns. "I know I heard something," he whispered once more, walking as fast as he could towards the barn when he then heard what sounded like a loud noise or bang coming from one of the nearby barns.
Dropping to one knee, he quickly unslung his lever-action and looked around, first towards the barn, then back towards the treeline where'd he seen the shambling walker earlier. He didn't see any others but that one, but he knew from long experience that noises of any kind attracted walkers like ringing an alarm. Getting back up, he all but ran to where he'd thought he had heard the earlier sounds.
Getting over to where he thought it'd come from, he made his way past the gate in front of the barn and walked over toward the barn; banging on the barn door, he called out in a quiet but insistent tone, "Anyone in there? Anyone in there?" As he waited for a reply, he quietly undid the snap on his holster and made sure his revolver was loaded in case he needed it.
Annie climbed up into the seat of the tractor and took the key out of her pocket. She fired it up and was a bit surprised but happy as hell the things started on the first try.
She looked over at Dean, then the door as she heard someone calling out, asking if anyone was in there. She looked at Dean, "Go and see who that is and open the doors up wide. I am gonna pull her out of here." She shifted the gears , and the large machine started to inch forward.

Dean was glad Annie was ok. He nodded as she said to check out who was yelling and added that he had to open the doors wide enough so the tractor could pass. Dean rushed towards the door and saw Joseph. “It’s Annie and Myself, we had some walker trouble.” Dean said. Then his eyes turned big as he could see some walkers making their way towards them. Dean started to shoot them, he had a silencer so the gunshot wouldn’t lure more. But for some reason they kept coming. “Joseph can you cover me while I get the doors open.” Dean asked.
He already knew Joseph would help so he started to get the doors open, so Annie could pass. “We got to hurry, more of them are coming.” Dean said in a worried tone.

Before Joe could knock again on the barn door, it flew open and he saw both Dean and Annie inside. He nodded as she said to check out who was yelling and added that he had to open the doors wide enough so the tractor could pass. Dean rushed towards the door and saw Joseph. “It’s Annie and Myself, we had some walker trouble.”
"I can see that," Joe replied, seeing what looked like a walker corpse inside the barn. Before he could say anything else, he looked towards where Dean was looking and, like Dean, saw more walkers approaching. Dean started to shoot them, he had a silencer so the gunshot wouldn’t lure more. But for some reason they kept coming. “Joseph can you cover me while I get the doors open.” Dean asked.
"Yeah, I'll cover," Joe said, unslinging his lever-action and checking to make sure that it was loaded - and that he had extra .44 rounds if needed, "unfortunately, I don't have a silencer or sound-suppressor on either the rifle or revolver, so whatever we're gonna do, Dean, we need to do it fast." Without waiting for a reply, Joe walked over to the door and began sighting down at the walkers. Head shots, he quietly whispered, pulling the trigger and watching the walker he fired at drop like a stone. Walking outside, he worked the lever, aimed at a second walker and fired, dropping it to the ground...
"Soon my brothers and sisters we will be feasting again." Brett smiled at his words. A body of a lone traveler was torn open and positioned over a burning fire. "These evil barbarians stole one of us and has corrupted him. We can save these people yet but if they aren't willing." Brett's gaze fell over the man cooking on the fire.
Leading his people to the farm Brett followed the trees. Using the marks on the tree's he'd left on his last visit it was easy to find the farm. Spotting dean and Annie go into the barn he stopped his followers. "What is it? Another heretic?" Brett nodded. "I recognize one but not the other."
Watching the walkers emerge from the trees the gears in Brett's evil mind began to turn. "Help them dispatch the walkers. I'm taking some men to grab that girl." The giant russian nodded and raised his AK firing at the walkers as others joined in.
Moving to the side of the barn Brett and two other followers entered through the side door. Seeing the Tractor moving with Annie on it he wasted little time climbing the side and placing the barrel of his gun against the side of her head. "I must say. You look a lot cuter up close than from the tree line. Shut it down."

As he continued dropping walkers with his .44 lever-action - pausing once to reload - Joseph started to see the number of walkers approaching the farm lessen. Then he paused, thinking he'd heard what sounded like a high-powered rifle - definitely something high-powered, he thought - firing at the walkers from another direction. "Dean, am I the only one hearing an AK out there?" he asked, taking a moment to peek outside and look around.
Sure enough, just as he did, he heard someone blasting away with an AK at the walkers; stepping back inside, he began to say, "Dean, I think we've got ...." stopping at the sight of someone - definitely someone not from this farm, he thought - standing on top of the tractor, a weapon pointed right at Annie's head. Quickly slinging his lever-action, he withdrew his .44 revolver and, without hesitation, pointed it right at the stranger, aiming for the head.
"Now," Joseph said, his voice as clear and as calm-toned as that of the great Mormon prophet Brigham Young, "I don't know who the hell you are, but," taking a moment to draw the hammer back, "unless you would like to meet your Maker in the next few minutes, I would suggest that you get the hell down off that tractor and join your comrades over there," pointing to what looked like a pair of shabbily-dressed individuals, "right this instant." While part of him was screaming internally What the hell are you doing, Joseph?!?, part of him felt honor-bound to protect Annie and the others at the farm and he'd do whatever he could to honor that particular debt.
Annie had for the old rig fired up. She had been amazed it had afterLl this time, but it was old and reliable. That's what Grandad always said. She shifted it into gear and started rolling slowly. She had to go slow to get out the doors, but once out she had a plan. Dean and Joe could hop on an she would open her up. This thing was never built for speed, but she hoped it would be faster than the walkers once opened up.
She was focused on the doors and didn't see the preacher. Not until he put that cold mussle to her head. Her heart kept into her throat and with a shaky hand she turned the key, shutting the tractor down
She stared straight ahead and was showed at how quick Joe reacted." Joe, don't. Don't get hurt for me." She looked at him and Dean and felt the cold steel press harder to her temple." Just give him what he want." " she swallows," what do you want preacher?""

Everything happened so fast. Joseph was asking if Dean heard that AK too. But Dean was too busy with shooting the walkers so Annie could get out with the tractor. Just then Joseph spoke again, but his didn’t finish his sentence. Dean kept shooting until he heard Joseph commanding someone to get off the tractor. Most walkers where dead anyway so Dean looked what was going on and saw a man standing next to Annie, holding a gun to her head. He heard how Joseph started to angry. “My friend is right, you step away from her!” Dean yelled as he raised his gun at the strange guy.
Dean could hear how Annie asked what he wanted. “I think he wants a bullet in his head, cause he’s definitely getting killed if he doesn’t lower his gun!” Dean yelled once more.

As Dean joined him in training their guns on the stranger now holding a gun to Annie's head, part of Joseph wanted to heed Annie's words not to get hurt on her behalf...but part of him, even in this screwed-up, walker-inhabited world, still believed in things like chivalry and protecting others from harm...and that part he sided with. With a steely gaze at the stranger, Joseph repeated his warning from earlier, adding, "And tell your two friends, the shabby-looking freaks over there," pointing towards them for a second, "to drop any weapons they might be carrying. If not..." He paused, pointed the revolver straight up in the air and fired once, sending a .44 round into the top part of the barn.
After a second, he aimed the revolver once more at the stranger and repeated his earlier warning, adding, "the next time I pull this trigger, sir, the bullet will not go into the roof or ceiling of this barn, it will go into your head, specifically somewhere in your forehead, so unless you really want to meet whoever you call your Maker, you will lower your weapon this instant." Glancing over at Annie, Joseph added in the same calm, clear voice, "Annie, start the tractor, please."
Brett smiled at the two men who pointed there weapons at him. "Oh my child. I'm taking this land back in the name of our lord." Keeping his gun on Annies temple he held up his hand. "You can shoot me. But who will protect you from them?" His two followers kept their pistols raised as others emerged from the treeline. A total of eight cultists emerged from the trees rifles and pistols pointed at the two.
"Now we're going to have a nice talk with the rest of your group. We don't want anyone missing out on the intiation." Brett turned his gaze to Annie. "As the leader of this rag tag group of heretics. You'll be crucified. An example for all those who defy us." The cult leader started to laugh as he gently caressed Annie's head. "Don't worry my child. The rest an be saved."

Even though Joseph could see that both him and Dean were outnumbered about ten to two or so, he also knew that if he backed down now to the guy's demands, things could go even worse for them. "Sir, you must have me confused for someone who gives a damn," he said, keeping one eye on the stranger and the other eye on the two shabby characters nearby. "On the other hand," bringing the hammer of his revolver back down quietly, "I'm not suicidal either, so before any of us decide to go join our respective Makers' anytime soon, I have a proposition for you."
Before Dean could say anything, Joseph put his revolver back in its holster, though he didn't remove the holster from his waist. He did unsling his lever-action, holding it in one hand. "Here's the proposition: about a mile or so down the road," pointing off in the general direction of the farm road, "there's a Silverado and an RV just off the road...specifically, my Silverado and my RV. Your people help us bring them back onto the farm here and then we can talk like civilized folk instead of religious freaks out to take over the world. There's one condition, sir: your people don't harm or injure any of us here on this farm...and that includes Annie." Emphasizing the point, he worked the lever on his rifle and returned the rifle to rest once more over his shoulder, a finger resting inside the trigger well.
"Those are the conditions, sir. You can take 'em or leave 'em...but those are the conditions. Help us right now and we'll talk....otherwise, we can go back to the Mexican Standoff we were engaged in earlier. Your choice," Joseph said, looking right at the stranger on top of the tractor as all of them stood there inside the barn.
Vince heard the gun fire and looked over at Zach. "Were those gun shots. Automatic guns," he asked looking away from the man, "do you have any automatic guns? I only saw a hunting rifle."
Vince inched closer, but still remianed near Zach. "Should we go check it out. I think it came from towards the barn." He looked down, "that cult, what guns did they have? Think it could be them coming back?"
Vince walked back to the stump. The pistol was still out, but his supplies was all in the house. If there was trouble he'd have to run for it. He needed his supplies, wouldn't get far without it. He grabbed the chain around his neck and ran his thumb over the name. 'Be safe,' he thought to himself.
"I think we should do somethig," Vince said looking at the man, "maybe go along the tree line and see what we can see."
Cultists started to laugh at Joesephs request. Brett held up a hand and quieted the laughter. "I don't think you have any room to negotiate here Brother. Perhaps you don't fully understand what's going on here." Slowly pulling out a straight razor Brett revealed the blade on it and placed it under Annies neck. "I'm going to count down. When I hit 1 your weapons better be holstered. You can shoot me and kill me. But she will be the first one to die and trust me. Bleeding out isn't a painless way to die."
Brett smiled wickedly. "Unless thats what you want. Your last view the light draining out of her eyes before my Russian friend there unloads fully automatic righteous justice into your back." Vlad grunted and lowered his AK to fire from the hip. "Ten...Nine..."
The mention of it might being the cult sent Zack into a breakdown. His mind began having flashbacks to his time with Brett. The cultist sat in the seat across from him and fed him human flesh. He'd injected him with a poison that cause hallucinations. He'd kept him from Sisa and told him lies.
Zack slowly came back to reality. Looking at the Axe in his hands then Vince he collected his thoughts. "Ok uh...We don't have anything automatic and this bow isn't going to do dick against that." Gripping the axe tighter he looked back at the area where the gunshots had suddenly gotten quiet. "I gotta protect Sisa. Get inside lets arm everyone and get ready." Zack quickly ran inside. He let out a sharp quick whistle.
"Crazy Cultists are here. Everyone grab a weapon and choose a window. Sisa." Zack moved over to her and gripped her face with his hands. "I'm not going to let them take or hurt you."
He had to admit, working on this damned wall was boring, but had to be done. Everyone else did their fair share, Mirek had to do his. The hammers hit the nails, the barriers were planted in the ground and so on, a repetitive process. He continued like this until the sound of bullets stopped him momentarily. Well, it was an automatic weapon, which strangely enough they didn't have. Someone was here at the farm and apparently had a death wish firing bullets off like that. He quickly unholstered his .44 Magnum and had it ready in his hand. He stood up and ran towards where he thought the gunshots were coming from.

Nick swapped a little bit of dust off the shelf he was leaning against. Trying to help out as much as he could while his ears were abused by the pregnant women moving some things around. The tan man tried to listend to her as he tugged on a wood object in the corner. "So that is the camp you were at?" He asked kindly as he was shown a brochure that was put on the top of the object. Once he got the wood furniture he was dragging toward the lantern near the attics ladder. Dark brown eyes were able to see that it was a wood bassenet. "Looks like we found another baby present."
A smile spread from ear to ear before he heard a whistle. Raising a eyebrow to the noise that reached them. Their were gun shots but he had figured Dean and Annie had ran into some undead. Watching the pregnant women go down the ladder before he followed behind. The two made it to the source of the whistle which was yet another survivor Nick hadn't met. Judging on the way he acted and saying Sisa's name it was pretty easy to guess. "Zack right? Maybe we should get the pregnant women away from the conflict? Like the car's perhaps? " He asked worried about the saftey if his friend while he reloaded his gun.

Dean was a bit startled as Joseph shot a hole in the roof, but he kept his gun in the same position, aimed at the son of a bitch that was next to Annie. Joseph tried once more to get Annie to safety, but the guy next to her replied. As he spoke more members came and they were outnumbered, but Dean kept his gun raised. Then the guy told Annie she would be crucified, since she was the leader, that way he could set an example. “You are crazy if you think that is going to happen.” Dean said with a little smile.
Seconds later Joseph lowered his gun and put it back in the holster, he once more tried to negotiate with the leader of the people that where attacking them. But Dean still kept his gun raised, now they kept the others at bay since there was a weapon pointed at their boss and he didn’t want to lose that advantage.
Joseph tried to give them some conditions to agree on, but all of the sudden things took turn for the worse. The guy next to Annie gave them ten seconds to put away the guns or Annie would die. Dean wanted to shoot him at that moment, but he made sure they didn’t forget about his Russian friend who had a AK pointed at them. Dean figured that there really wasn’t much they could do. “You asshole.” He said as he lowered his gun and put it in his holster. “Hurt her and you will regret it for the rest of your miserable life.” He added in a angry tone.

A smile spread in her tan face as her deep brown eyes caught the wood of the cradle. "Aw it's cute" She said happly before the sound of gunshots tickled her ears. Brushing a long black strand of hair as she worried about Zack and the others. What if their are more walkers? What if bandits? No what are you saying! Everything will be ok. It's probably nothing. Shrugging her shoulders with a sigh as the raven haired lady went back to moving things out of the attic. The loud whistle caught her attention enough to set the box in her arms down. Listening to Nick barily as she started stepping down the ladder leaving the attic now worried of what the heck was happening. Then she heard Zack's voice telling people to go to the windows and that the cultist were back. Dark brown eyes widen at the thought of that crazy basterd returning. "Are you ok?" The pregnant women asked the baby daddy holding her face as she spoke nervously. Turning her head to look at Nick as he spoke of a suggestion. "Are the others ok?" Raising a dark eyebrow to the muscleman. Worrying about the others and why the fatty would even come back.
