"Alright, be back in a little bit," Joe said, grabbing his rifle and slinging it over his shoulder, then quickly heading back over to the barn where he and other newcomers had slept overnight. As he walked over, he saw Annie, Dean and another person talking; though he knew Annie had slept in the barn overnight, he hadn't seen the other two and thought, Where were they overnight? giving it a thought before setting it aside.
Waving to them as he walked past, Joe walked into the barn and dropped the soiled wound dressings he'd removed from Vince's shoulder into the barrel, watching them burn for a few seconds before grabbing his backpack. Seeing everyone else was awake, he called out to them, "Morning, everyone," waving at them and saying hello before hoisting the pack over his other shoulder and heading back to the farmhouse. Seeing the slowly rising sun off in the distance made him smile; it felt good to see yet another sunrise...
Vince sat down across from him and let him look at the shoulder. He cooperated when he was asked, stsying still to apply the dressing and the tape. Once sealed he pulled on his jump suit top but left it undone.
He didn't say anything back just listened. He could stay a few days, it wasn't that long of a wait. If he helped out maybe they'd let him take some supplies for his trip. Well not a trip, he wouldn't return, more of a departure.
He saw Zack and Sisa and looked at them. "I'm sorry for any trouble I caused your group. If there's anythig I can do to help out just say it."
Annie stopped and stared at Dean. She eyed Nickiah and shook her head," it is what it is, I am glad you are alive." She let her eyes drift between the two males and held her other comments. It was Dean's life and she would keep her thoughts to herself. However if he placed the farm in danger she would speak up." I heading inside then ping to go and check traps." She saw Joe and Mitek both come out. Mirek went to work on the wall and Joe went to the barn. Coffee. She needed coffee.
Annie looked at Dean, then Joe and Nick," I need coffee, come inside and get some food then talk to Dida, show her what you found." Sooner or later she would talk to Joe about Sisa.

Dean smiled as he heard how Nick tried to take the blame, it was cute to hear. Then he waved back at Joseph while he listened to Annie. He could clearly see Annie wasn’t pleased. She said she was happy to see that Dean was alive. “Well thanks for worrying about me, it’s good to know that someone is, but I’m sorry as well, can’t say that enough.” Dean said softly.
“I can join you to check traps.” Dean responded when Annie told she would go for coffee first and heck traps after. Then Annie invited both him and Nick inside to have some food and coffee. “Yeah that would be nice.” Dean said with a smile. Then he looked at Nick and winked at him, it was his way to met Nick know everything would be fine. After that he walked over the door and held it open for Annie and Nick.
Zack smiled at Sisa before turning his attention to Vince. "Actually if you wanna help i gotta go cut up some wood for the fire. I won't make you do any chopping or a lot of carrying." The archer finally released Sisa. Planting a kiss on her he grabbed his green hoodie and pulled it on over his head.
"When the doc's done with ya come outside. I'll be right beside the porch." Zack slung his quiver over his shoulder with his bow. Giving a light wave Zack walked outside into the cold. He hated the cold almost as much as the walkers. He gave a wave to Dean, Annie, and Nick as he kicked the stump knocking it over clearing the snow off it quickly.
Reaching into the snow he couldn't find the axe. Zack let out an irritated grunt thinking about before the commotion started. "I left it..." Zack though about where he hid the axe aloud. Spotting the branch he was dragging in he walked over to it and found the axe covered in snow as it laid on top of it.
"This deserves a reward." Slipping his quiver off his shoulder the archer moved the arrows until he found what he was looking for. Pulling out am old cigarette pack Zack let out a childish giggle. He pulled a joint out and placed it in his mouth as he patted himself looking for his lighter.
Zack dragged the Branch up to his stump the archer let out a breath feeling his body relax. Placing the branch by the stump he made sure nothing was wrong with the axe before he sat on the stump taking another drag.

Twirling a long black strand through her fingers as she listened to the archer tell her no hard work. Dark brown eyes focused on him before soft lips moved. "Growing life isn't hard work?" The tan women smiled as she teased Zack once she felt his finger poke her stomach. Ass kicker? Where in hell did he come up with such a ridiculous name. Of course the pregnant women knew he was joking but Sisa couldn't help messing with him. "Speaking of names got any ideas.." Trailing off as she turned away towards the kitchen. Yelling in a joking tone toward the archer once more. "Before he is named Jesus" Laughing lightly as she went to open the fridge but to her surprise she had a forgetful moment. Rubbing her head in confusion and unsure what she had wanted in the first place.
When Sisa came back to where she once was at. Vince was saying something about being a bother. A dark eyebrow raised on her face at the thought. She was the one who shot him so their shouldn't of been any apology on his part. At least that is how the pregnant women looking confused thought about it. "Uh... I shot you. So I am the one who caused trouble dear." Speaking kindly as her dark brown eyes looked at the man. "Maybe you could help keep watch. Seeing as their is a wall being built and something watching would help?" The young native suggested.
Vince listened to the man as he spoke. He didn't know how much help he could be chopping wood, or even carrying it for that matter. He didn't know what he could help with out there, yet the man did ask him.
He watched him leave and looked at the pregnant lady, "yeah I'll keep watch. Just don't shoot me this time. I'm trully one of the good guys, not a prisoner," he said zipping up the suit. It was warm and provide an extra layer against the bites, he liked it.
Vince walked outside an joined the man. He saw him near a stump and joined him at his side. Seeing the joint in his mouth he laughed, "prime example for the kid mate," he smirked. "Now what was it you wante me to do?"
Zack laughed as Vince commented on his joint. "Dude it's not the worse thing anymore." He chuckled standing back up grabbing the axe. "I'd like for you to keep watch. The walls not finished and believe it or not the sound of wood being chopped is like magnets for them."
The Archer produced a pistol and threw it to Vince. "I don't like guns. I prefer my bow to them." Zack said casually as he placed the branch over the stump. Tapping the branch with marked an X with the axe's blade. He blew out some more smoke before offering Vince a hit.
"Can i ask you something?" Zack asked as he brought the axe down on the branch. The piece fell off and landed in the snow pointing up into the sky. "Did you pass a cult on your way here?"
"Hey won't here me complain," Vince said smiling. He wasn't against smoking pot, even did it himself a few times. He was stopping though, needed to mature. Kevin and him needed to grow up at somepoint, couldn't be partying all their life.
Taking the gun he looked at it. Vince wasn't that good of a shot and would rather use his bat. He had a pistol of his own, but would use this one for now. He raised it up, carefully moving his arm. Deciding it might be best to just to one hand it for now, he dropped his arm but still kept the gun out.
Vince grabbed the joint and took a hit. He smiled and passed it back, "thanks, don't know how much I need it, but thanks."
Vince leaned back and shook his head, "Nope no cult. Asshole army commander but no cult."

Walking back to the farmhouse, Joe could see that the farm, if it wasn't coming to life now, was beginning to do so. Bounding inside, he set his backpack down near the door, then made a quick inventory of everything inside his medkit. I wish my RV was here; I could restock this from the supplies in it, he thought as he set it down next to the backpack.
Stepping back outside - lever-action slung over his shoulder - Joe thought he heard someone - Annie, I think it was, he thought - say there was some coffee available. Looking over towards Annie, he said, "I'll take a cup," figuring he'd need some energy before too long; it was a long day ahead.
"Good." Zack said coldly as he moved the branch onto the stump. Marking another X he placed the joint between his lips. "What did you do before this?" Zack took a drag and looked up at the sky. Letting the smoke exit his nose the archer got ready to chop the branch.
"I was on my way to my new teaching job. Just graduated college to. Two days right before this happened." Zack shook his head and cut another piece off the branch. "I'll bet you there's still a mother fucker waiting to collect my debt." Zack smiled warmly at Vince.
"I was attending university," Vincr said leaning back on his heels, "had a year left. Was a buisness major. After that I don't know what I was going to do. Probably start a business or something. Live off my partners money." He laughed and looked at the man. "I'm sorry, I just don't see you as a teacher. A gym teacher maybe, but not a full blown teacher. No offence though, just don't seem the teacher type."
Vince looked down, "did you know any of these people before all this? The pregnant lady, you know her? She's your girlfriend right?"
Zack laughed at being told he didn't look like a teacher. "Believe it or not bro I'm a chemistry major. I'd do something sciency but i can tell you why you shouldn't mix bleach an ammonia." Zack marked another X on the branch. p
"No I met Sisa at a camp she'd been set up in. We shacked up soon after." Zack chopped another piece off. He moved the three pieces into a pile before marking another X. "We got separated when bandits raided the camp while she was on a supply run."
Zack placed the Axe on the branch. "This worlds done terrible things to people. I was picked up by a cult. They called themselves the community of the second sun." Zack could see Brett smiling across the table at him. "They eat people and they inject you with this poison that makes you hallucinate. Thankfully Sisa recognized me and they rescued me."
"Would never have guessed that. I always sucked at science. I've had chemistry with peopl," Vince said givimg a small laugh, "never in a classroom though." He lowered the gun and watched the man chop wood.
He mentioned that Sisa and him had met after all this. If he didn't find Kevin would he be able to move on. To forget him. He didt know where he was. He could still be alive, there was still a chance. He hasn't seen him die, that meant he was still alive, he could feel it.
"A cult really? That's crazy," Vince exclaimed, "how did you get out? If they eat people why did they not eat you? I've seen some fucked up shit in this world. Back in Vegas there was a dictator of an army general. He used to have doctors give brain surgery so people would follow him. He turned the women into his personal slaves. I wasn't there long, about a couple of days before it fell apart, still messed up though."
Annie went in and poured the coffee. She counted four cups and took a few moments to set up another pot to perking. She passed them out," anyone hungry? I wanna go check those traps, but I need to eat something." She smiled at Dean," next time, let someone know you're leaving, alright?" That was the last she said about is overnight jaunt with the new guy. She didn't understand all this stuff everyone had going on with relationships. These people were acting like rabbits, dogs in heat or something. Then she wondered if something was wrong with her because she didn't.
She glanced at Joe," so, Doc, everyone alright this morning?" She glanced up at the ceiling," gotta start emptying the attic soon too, to make room." She sighed and then started gathering some things from cupboards. She took a few eggs from a chest in the floor. She mixed the eggs and the can of potatoes in a frying pan with some dried bacon and chopped onion. She sipped coffee while she cooked.

Dean waved back to Zach, before walking inside joined by Annie, nick and Jospeh. While they walked in Vince walked out and Dean nodded and smiled as he saw the guy was doing ok, after being shot yesterday.
Once inside Dean waved at everyone. “Hello, I’m back.” He said softly. Then he sat down and waited for the others to join around the table. Some moments later Annie passed out the coffee. “Thanks Dear.” Dean said with a smile. His smile got even bigger as he saw Annie smile at him, which meant she wasn’t angry anymore. “Yes I will, sorry again.” He said still smiling. “Oh and like I said I will join you for the traps, but some food would be nice.” He added.
Then Annie started cooking. “As usual that sounds delicious.” Then Dean his eyes went to Joseph. “And yes Annie her question was a good one, how is the guy with the shot wound?” Dean asked. While he waited for an answer he looked at Nick to check if he was ok and gave him a warm smile.

The tan man thought of how his wording could make it sound as though they had been rabbits. Dark brown eyes looked around the entrance as he stood their for a moment. Finally moving to where the two went after looking around. Pulling out a seat as he heard the redheaded women smile before telling Dean to warn people before sneaking off. "We didn't fuck if that's what your thinking" The curly haired man said jokingly with a smile as he saw that coffee was available. Remembering the last time he had tried coffee made the man gag on the inside as his dark eyes saw Dean take the coffee. Nick wouldn't understand why he would want tar but his beverage was his choice. The young man kindly shook his head at the offer of coffee that was being passed. Nickiah knew the two asked about some shot man but his mind wondered about the women who'd be getting the baby stuff. "Where is this pregnant Sisa women? adorable baby stuff needs to be delivered."

As Joe sat down and drank some coffee, both Annie and Dean asked him how everyone was doing and Vince was doing. Setting his cup down - good coffee, he thought - he looked over at them. "As far as everyone, I'd say everyone's doing alright from what I've seen. As for Vince, he's doing a lot better than one would expect of someone getting shot in the shoulder normally would," he said. "There didn't appear to be any major damage to the nerves and vessels in and around the shoulder," motioning to the area on one shoulder as a guide of sorts, "and whoever worked on him before I looked at it yesterday did a really good job treating him. I went ahead and re-examined the wound, checking for any signs of infection - thankfully, there's none that I could tell off-hand, though sometimes infections can set up in a bullet wound deep underneath the surface, but there wasn't any evidence of that.
"After examining the wound, I went ahead and re-dressed it, covering it with some antibiotic sauve and then covering that with fresh dressings so that nothing gets on or around it." Pausing to drink some more coffee, he added, "Unless anything unforeseen happens, his wound should heal up good within a couple of days."
After drinking some more coffee, he sat back in his chair. "Now that I think of it, before I arrived here yesterday, I had stopped on the side of the road about a mile or so back in the other direction and left both my truck and RV out there; there's a ton of supplies inside the RV: extra canned food, clothes, cooking supplies, medical supplies, extra ammo...plus we could use the RV as extra sleeping space or as a makeshift hospital of sorts." Running a hand through his hair a moment, he added, "Of course, the only question would be: how do we get it back here without endangering everyone?"
Annie listened, "Sure Dean, after we eat." She raised a brow as Joe talked about his RV. Nick asked about the pregnant Sisa, and Annie smiled, 'I think she went outside, she was with Zack and the guy she shot, a moment ago, when we came inside. Only two , no wait, that other one came, three females here, rest are men." She looked at Joe, "I do have a tractor, it has barely much gas, but if it's not far, we could make it. It can haul just about anything, it's back in the rear building, past the barn." She glanced at Dean, 'We could go and get it, and get that RV, and Joe's truck, see if we can fix it." She looked at Joe, "if you are alright with that, I mean, I don't want to feel like we are taking your stuff." She put a fork full of food in her mouth.

"I don't see any problem there, Annie," Joe replied. "Its' only about a mile or so back up the road, so there should be enough gas in that tractor to get there and back. I think the only thing that was wrong with the Silverado was a blown hose; if the hole's not too big, we might just be able to tape it around with some duct tape or brown sticky tape and go from there."
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
