Annie had spent the evening in the barn. She had worried about what happened to Dean. After spending months together here on the farm, she would have thought that Zack, Mirek, and Sisa would have been more concerned about his welfare. She had hoped of making a safe refuge for people from this horrible new world. Bring back apart of the human side to this strange and foreign place her world had become.
She wanted a place where people would care about each other, band together, and fight right along side the next, to give everyone a chance to have some kind of future. As she stepped out into the snow, she wasn't so sure if that was even possible after last night. She had lost her temper, and probably any faith in her. She didn't want to be in charge, she wanted a team, a group of people acting and working together, for each others benefit. Annie was never the type to bark orders and demands, it just wasn't her nature, and doing so last night, left a bad taste in her mouth.
She wanted coffee, and probably a side of crow with that, but it couldn't be helped. She pulled her hood up, and shielded her eyes from the sun glare off the fresh powder. It would be a good day to check the traps. Fresh snow always brought the animals out in search of an easy meal. She would see if anyone would want to tag along, once she got back inside.
Smoke was drifting up from the chimney to the cabin, so she knew someone was awake and had kept the fire going.
Zack slept peacefully. He'd gotten better sleep since he'd been sleeping with Sisa. Zack slowly opened his eyes seeing his raven haired beauty. A smile spread across his face as he rolled off the cot. Getting his clothes on he grabbed his bow and quiver before he silently left letting the mother of his child sleep.
Walking into the living room Zack looked outside at the snow. It looked too cold out but thankfully someone had kept the fire going. He threw another log on the fire and counted the logs. They'd need more which meant someone would have to go outside in the cold. Zack hated the cold. He'd rather be in the heat than the cold.
Putting his hands out towards the flames the archer warmed himself up before he'd get something to eat. He didn't mind sleeping with Sisa. He did mind her stealing the blankets every night.

After the supply run Dean drove back to his parking spot on the farm, he felt guilty for not letting Annie and the others know that he stayed with Nick in the RV and leaving early in the morning for supplies. But he wanted to make sure Nick felt ok, he needed some time away and he liked Dean, so he felt guilty and at the same time happy.
Dean parked his car on looked to Nick who sat down in the seat next to him. “That run was fun.” He said with a grin. Then he turned off the engine. “But I think it’s really time to meet the others sweetie, but I’m here for you, like I said you can always count on me." Dean said softly trying to make nick feel safe. “They are very sweet people though and they are probably worried so we should get inside.” Dean added in the same soft tone.
Then he took his keys. “Oh but first.” Dean said with a smile as he leaned in closer to Nick and kissed his very softly.
“a kiss for my sweet Nick.” He said with a smile. Then he got out of the car and walked around, he opened the door for Nick so he could get out. “Always be a gentleman.” Dean said with a wink as he waited for nick to grab his backpack with the supplies and step out of the car.

Okay, who left the Gentile door open? Joe thought as he woke up inside the barn, the first time in some while that'd he gotten a decent night's sleep...oh, wait: never mind...I'm in a barn in the Tennessee mountains, getting up and taking a few moments to dust himself off and fold up the blanket he'd used to keep warm overnight. It'd been a surprisingly pleasant night, something he hadn't anticipated, being used to the sometimes bitingly harsh Utah winters.
Taking a moment to make sure he had both his lever-action and revolver with him - his trench knife was still in his backpack, which he felt comfortable leaving in the barn for now, though he did take with him a slimline box of .44 rounds with him - he walked outside, making sure the barndoor was shut 'lest something sneak its' way inside and let his eyes adjust to the fresh snow that'd come down overnight. It'd look beautiful if the world wasn't so screwed up, he mused, making his way over to the farmhouse, using someone's tracks as a guide.
Stepping inside, he immediately felt how much warmer it was inside the farmhouse; seeing Zach standing near the farm's woodstove, he walked over. "Morning," he said, standing near. "How'd things go inside the farmhouse last night?"

Dark eyes stared at the snow going by as he tried to a just the seat to allow for his backpack to remain on his back. Despite the habit of wearing the seat belt it would just prolong his time at escaping it. Not that he saw Dean as a bad driver by any means. Nick knew that some of his actions could be distracting. The young man's hand squeezed the brunettes without noticing. Seeing the farm house back into his view gave him a feeling as though he had just changed schools.
Deans words made Nick blush a little bit but it didn't stop his brown eyes from stareing at the barn and then the farm again. "It was perfect" Finally turning his head to look at the handsome man next to him. Nick didn't say much other then a sigh as he listend to Dean talk about how the group was sweet. "Didn't know the apocalypse turned people sweet" Sarcasticslly he said as his eyes rolled not really sure if the sweet Dean wasn't just sugar coating this.
Kissing Dean back softly with a smile afterwards at how the fella called him nice things. The tan man was getting ready to just open his own door as he put the straps on his back. To his surprise there Dean was opening his door for him. This caused a big blush to spread over his face as he stepped out. "You didn't have to do that haha.. But I appreciate the manners" Nick smiled as he tried to think of how many times Dean held open a door for him. Sadly he came out blank. Watching his breath rise as he rubbed his hands together as if he was making heat. "Ready?"

Deep brown flickered open just to catch the baby daddy leaving the room. The pregnant women felt pretty damn cozy underneath the blanket that she no doubt stole from Zack in her sleep. She tried not to do it but she loved looking at the snow but not feeling cold. A grumbling sound came from her mouth as she dug her way out from the covers to sit up. Rolling her head around to hear that crack feeling.
Normally the the early bird would be up and ready but the lack of some sleep yesterday turned her into a walker in a way. Putting on cloths as she tried to brush her long hair at the same time. Before leaving the room she shared with Zack her dark brown eyes caught the small mirror. Swiping off some dream dust from her eyes before she left the room finally.
The young pregnant women found Zaxk and Joseph near the woodstove. She put a single finger to her lips to silence Joseph so she wouldn't announce her presence. Sneakily she got close to Zack where she could wrap her arms around him hugging the man from behind. "Joseph the was the barn ok? I hope it was" She said in a concerned tone as she looked at him.
Mirek had fallen asleep in the bed he had claimed. Others were in different rooms, the newcomers were in the barn. Strangely enough, so was Annie, she hadn't slept in the house, but with the newcomers where it wouldn't be as warm. Mirek's eyes opened and he looked around the room. It was a new day filled with new work. Mirek got up, got dressed and headed down stairs.
His first location was the kitchen, he needed some fuel to keep him going for the rest of the day. He made some toast and coffee as quick as possible, then sat down at the dining table by himself. He couldn't figure out if he liked the peace and quiet or not, it was certainly a change.

*Before getting out of the car.*
Dean thought it was cute how Nick blushed. “Aren’t you a cutie.” He said with a smile. Then he heard how Nick gave a sarcastic comment.
“No, they where sweet before the apocalypse.” Dean said with a smile trying to comfort Nick.
*After getting out of the car.*
Nick laughed as Dean opened the door for him, told him he shouldn’t. “I’ll catch a grenade for yah, throw my hand on a blade for yah.” Dean jokingly sang, referring to the Bruno Mars song. “Kill a walker for yah.” He added before laughing. Dean clearly saw that Nick was nervous. So he softly placed his hand on Nick his cheek. “Hey, it’s going to be alright, I’m here for you, relax sweetie, I rather see you smile.” Dean aid as he winked followed by a soft kiss on his lips. Then he offered Dean a hand so they could walk hand in hand towards the farm house, so Dean could finally explain where he had been and they could all meet Nick.

Before Zack could answer, Joseph saw Sisa sneak up behind Zack and ask, "Joseph the was the barn ok? I hope it was" She said in a concerned tone as she looked at him.
"Yeah, the barn was okay, Sisa, " he replied. "I think everyone else back there's either still asleep or should be waking up by now...and how are you this morning?"
Vince groaned as he woke. The last few hours had felt like weeks. Like it had been forever since he awoke. Blinking a few time he looked around. There were people he didn't know, and he could here talking.
Standing up he stretched his arms. His shoulder burned and felt like it was going to tear. He wince and quickly clutched it. Bloody hell, that's right, he had been shot yesterday, he thought.
He saw people gathered in the kitchen. Vince didn't feel like talking, it was best not to get close. It would hurt less when he left. He still had to find Kev, if he was still alive. He had to get to England, he needed Kev.
Kev, that's right. His hands went to the chain aroud his neck. He thumbed the ring and sighed. If he had lost this, he wouldn't know what to do. He spotted his pack against the wall. He didn't know who brought it in, it may have even be himself, but it was safe.
Vince dropped to his knees and moved toward the bag. He began to search through it. Pulling out his water bottle he placed it to his lips. He took a sip and felt it go down his throat.
Annie carried her rifle and was planning to head inside. She wanted to see if someone wanted to check traps with her. She just wanted some normalcy, maybe.
As she came up from the back, going beside the cabin , she saw Dean getting out of a vehicle. She stopped in her tracks. It was something she hadn't expexted after last night. His absence had botheref her.
Annie stared at him and a second figure. She realized right then that alot of things needed to be established. Rules! Everyone needed to ne on the same page and have jobs.
She didn't say a word, yet. She started going to the porch. She had lost her temper last night and didn't want to do it again. As she trudged through the snow, she hoped this was the last of it. No more snow, speing should be coming and that meant alot of planning needed to be done. She wanted to get everyone involved.
Zack smiled when Sisa wrapped her arms around him. He looked at Joseph as he asked how they were. "My only complaint is SOMEONE likes to take the blankets every night." Looking at Sisa Zack smiled at her. "I'll forgive you though like i always do." He kissed the top of her head. "How was the barn? I can't imagine you guy's were very warm."

Dark brown rolled jokingly as she listend to Zack. Crossing her arms shaking her head as if she was about to denie these claims of blanket theft. Looking at Joseph when he asked how she felt. "Pregnant and cold is how I feel." A smile spreading across her face as she felt a kiss on her forehead. "You don't want the baby to be cold now do you?" Jokingly she said as before giving the baby daddy a peck on the cheek. Then her attention went back to Joseph at the thought of the barn. "Hopefully we will come to a arrangement or something"

Hearing the bit of banter between Zack and Sisa made Joseph smile, chuckle a little and made him feel glad that they'd answered his question on how they were doing. "Well, I'm glad to see that you two are doing alright," he said, smiling a bit more; it was good to see that the day had begun so well.
Hearing their questions about how the barn was overnight, he nodded, the smile dropping a bit but still visible. "It was good; after being on the road as long as I was, its' good to rest your head and know you're safe...if one can define safety nowadays, anyhow." Running a hand through his hair, he thought about Sisa's question concerning the barn and the future for everyone. "We'll figure something out; the key is to take things one day at a time...all of us in the barn last night made it through the night, no complaints. All of us give it enough time...we'll make a home here."
Noticing Vince nearby, he politely excused himself and walked over to the man. "Morning, Vince," Joe said, "ready for me to take another look at that shoulder?"
The farm was busy, but he could sense the quietness here. People were either just getting up or doing some job he hoped, this place wouldn't become safe on its own. Mirek finished his breakfast as soon as possible, placing his cup and plate in the sink. He headed outside, it was still somewhat cold, but had settled down a bit. It still didn't stop him from wearing a t-shirt all the time. He saw people move around in the corner of his eye, but had intentions on getting to the barrier and continue building it.
He got to the barrier and quickly examined what he had done and what needed to be done. He had a good amount of equipment so he should've been able to continue. He took the pieces of wood they had used to make barriers and began to fix them together.
Vince saw The doctor come in. Rising to his feet he placed his bottle back in the bag. His torso was still bare besides the bandage. Vince looked down at it. He didn see blood but it still hurt.
"Sure take a look doc," Vince said begining to unravel the bandage. He moved along with the bandage and fully took it off. The chain still dangled from his neck, the ring resting on his chest.
He traced the wound with his finger. "So how does it look? Able to move aroud fully? Leave out the door?"

"Alright," Joe said, picking up his medkit from the floor next to one of the farm chairs - I'll have to run and grab my backpack and bring it in here sometime, he reminded himself - and setting it down on the chair. Grabbing a small chair from the kitchen, he motioned Vince to sit down so that he could look at it closer.
Taking a penlight so that he could see it better, Joe removed the old dressing and examined the wound, examining it for any sign of infection or ill appearance. "Looks good," he whispered, grabbing several gauze pads and a large dressing and setting them on the chair. Opening up a packet of antibiotic sauve, he applied it to the wound, making sure to cover the wound fully. Satisfied that the wound looked good, Joe then began applying several gauze dressings over the wound, sealing it with sticky tape so that nothing could get inside the wound.
After several minutes, Joe sat back and took one more look at the now-covered shoulder, taking the opportunity to examine Vince as they sat there. Satisfied that his patient was okay, Joe spoke to him. "Give it several more days, Vince, and it should heal up completely. Just don't jerk your shoulder around or anything like that, okay?" As he waited for Vince to say anything, Joe began cleaning up the small mess he'd made, stuffing the soiled wound dressings into a small plastic bag. Now I just gotta' figure out where i'm going to throw this away, closing and tying shut the small plastic bag.
Maybe I can throw this in the burn barrel back out in the barn later on, he thought. Looking over towards Zack, he asked, "Zack, I'm gonna' head back over to the barn, grab my backpack and bring it over here for the day," adding, "be back in a few moments, okay?"

Dean saw Annie and he could clearly see she wasn’t happy and he couldn’t blame her. He had been gone the whole night and part of the mourning, so she was probably a bit angry cause he didn’t let the others know where he was. “Come on Nicky.” Dean said as he already rushed to Annie. “Annie!” Dean yelled. Then he finally reached her. “Hey I promise I can explain everything and I’m so sorry for being gone last night and the mourning, I hope you can forgive me cause I rather have a happy Annie.” Dean said with a little smile.

Nick remained silent for a majority of Deans explanation to the women he was told about earlier named Annie. Dark eyes wondered around getting a idea of the place they all to be staying at before focusing on the women and Dean. "It's my fault Annie.. I was very sad yesterday near giving up. Dean sort of talked me out of it and that is why he wasn't here. My apologize" The tan man said as kindly as he could as the thought of how close he came to just giving up bothered him. "I will happly help the best I can. We went on a run a run this morning.. Got some stuff for the baby"
"If we moved some things around we might be able to make room for people." Zack suggested and shrugged. He looked at Joseph as he said he needed to grab his bag. "Alright. Don't freeze." Zack didn't want to go outside but he knew at least once he'd have to leave and cut some more wood for the fire.
"No hard work today love alright?" Zack turned his attention to Sisa. "Don't want you to hurt yourself or little ass kicker." The archer poked Sisa's belly lightly and smiled at her. He worried about the mother of his unborn child. He just wanted them to both be safe.
