- Prior to the outbreak, he would normally wear a sweater, blazer and buttoned shirt with a light brown flat, blue jeans and old military combat boots. After the outbreak, he switched from his 'old man'. He raided a surplus store, took with him a pair of black combat trousers, an olive t-shirt, a tactical vest and a few other things he considered useful. That which he had prior to raiding the store was his old British Military combat uniform, and black Military Combat Boots.

List 3 or more good personality traits:
- Natural Leader
- Tends to act like a father figure
- If ever he finds himself in a group, he'll make sure to look after them before himself.
- Marksman: With 22 years spent training in the military, he's became good at shooting, and can pick a walker off from up to half a kilometer away
- Well-educated, thanks to his father, William for sending him to Grammar School
- Has that sharp, dry, sarcastic British wit/humour
- Loves his family. Attempting to find his family. Knows David should be fine.
List 3 or more bad personality traits:
- "Grump". Considering that his upbringing wasn't the best, and he resented his father quite a lot. His father was an alcoholic World War 2 veteran who would beat him. This, along with the rest of his life choices, he's grown to have a chip on his shoulder. Prone to insult his friends and quick to anger.
- Alcoholic. Even after the outbreak, he loves a nice drink of whiskey or scotch.
- Smoker. Hasn't bothered kicking the habit. Whenever he comes across a gas station or corner store, one of the first things he looks for is a pack of smokes. If you were to ask him why he doesn't quit, he'd say, "Well. I'm closer to becoming a stiff than you are. And if anything, a stiff with asthma is easier to avoid. I'd need a breather every five steps."
- Accepted his fate should he die, already.

List 3 flaws:
- Started to prefer being on his own (Wouldn't mind a fire team partner)
- Grade-A asshole
- Depression, since's his wife's death
- Potentially suicidal
- Good at antagonizing people [he'd deem worthy of antagonizing]
Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
- Prior to the apocalypse, the old man- in his 50s at the time, would wake up. He'd brush his teeth, get dressed, make himself breakfast and head over to the living room. He'd turn the television on and watch the morning news. After the news, he'd sit on his own, a bottle of beer in one hand, and a book in the other. Tom Clancy, most likely, if not David Baldacci.
- At 1 pm, he'd head down to the local bar. He'd meet up with his pals- Daniel Avery, Jamal LaFonte, and Carter Patterson. All Ex US Military. They'd meet up at 1:30, and sit, and drink. Occasionally eat, while watching the football game. During the winter months, Ed would request the bar tender, Adam Alfredson to put on the hockey game. They'd pop outside once in a while and have a cigarette together. They'd gawk at women walking by and call idiot drivers out.
- On a good day, whenever Ed isn't too lazy, he and the boys would go hunting, or fishing together. They'd bring beers, and sit in Daniel's boat, letting their days of retirement go by.
- Since his wife's death, Ed's outings lessened, as he fell into a deep depression. He thought about ending his own life, but turned against it. He was visited a few times by his friends, at the time, and his son, Andrew during one of Andrew's many breaks. David called a few times from Kandahar and his daughter would call as well. She was looking after Kali, as well.
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
- The boys were at their usual rendezvous, at the bar. The outbreak was announced over a football game. The four of them looked at each other briefly and nodded. They figured all that would happened. They've done tours in Somalia, Iraq, and Bosnia. They've seen how things can get. How people are likely to act, and what not to do.
- The four went to their homes and prepared enough. Dressed in hunting gear, and arming themselves with whatever they had lying around, they left town. Avery had with himself an AR15, while Jamal, and Carter both had Remington Rifles. Edgar only had his father's Webley, which he figured would be good enough. Once they gathered at a meeting point- in dense woods, they abandoned their vehicles and legged it to the nearest military base. Between then, Ed was able to scavenge through an empty surplus store- abandoned by it's owner who'd taken only a few guns with him and what supplies he could carry.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
- The military base was overrun by the time the four reached it. However, they were able to salvage what they could. Avery, and Carter both salvaged M4s along with what tactical gear they could find. Jamal found himself an M249 SAW to use, while Edgar found there were a few Canadian Soldiers from the Royal Canadian Regiment- A unit he'd previous served with back in the '90s. He grabbed the updated C8A2 carbine rifle along with a soldier's webbing and backpack before turning to the others.
- The four decided that the best thing to do would be to head west, towards the Rocky Mountains. Edgar agreed, knowing most of his family is out west, and hoped to bump into them along the way. They also thought that the mountains would be an ideal place to hide out this outbreak. They commandeered a Humvee with a machine gun mounted on the top and started their journey.
- Along the way, in Montana, they were ambushed by a group of bandits. It started as a tree fell down in front of them, along a side road. After they got out to survey the area, the Humvee was hit by an explosive projectile. While they were able to fight off the bandits, they had to flee into the forests, away from any oncoming stiffs.
- They were stuck in Montana for two months, fighting this group of bandits. They knew that they wouldn't get far if they didn't, and this bandit would only attack others if they weren't dealt with. Early in the morning, before the sun started rising, Edgar lead an attack on a bandit hideout. They weren't the ones who dealt with the bandits, mind. It was after a week of stalking, and taking notes on the bandit's movements, as well as where they keep their ammunition and food stores. Though old, these retired veterans managed to sneak into the camp and blow up both, munitions and food, and leave before a significant number of walkers showed up.
- They eventually settled down at a settlement at Grand Forks, British Columbia. Being able to take a break, the three soldiers decided to join the defense force for the new refuge. Ed, though, had decided to continue on his journey. He felt the need to find his children, holding the belief that they're all still alive. Upon hearing that, the other three decided to join him.
