Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
Before the Apocalypse Sabrina was just an ordinary girl, gaming to her heart’s content. It was normally just a hobby of hers after studying hard at school. Her friends would always call her up and they’d hang out playing games, going on walks, doing parkour. She had always liked being with her friends more than her family. She always had to listen to their arguments 24/7. Her video games let her escape from the reality that her family was falling apart around her.
When the day had come for her to move out to the college's dorms, Sabrina was relieved. She didn't have to deal with her family drama and only needed to concentrate on her studies, and more gaming. Some nights she'd go out with her friends, getting tattoo's, getting cigarettes. When she turned 21 she was all over the bar scene after exams especially to roll the stress right off. With her high metabolism she only had to do a little exercise and she was fine. However, this made her a big lightweight... featherweight might actually be the better term.
When her years were up she graduated and began a job as an IT specialist. She learned many things about coding, how to rebuild a computer from the ground up, and her life turned to that of isolation. She moved from the dorms to an apartment in downtown Champaign to keep herself from home.
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
- Sabrina had been on her game, her headphones one, blocking out the sound. That was until the noise from her neighbor's room. Then the sound moved from her neighbor, to the next, to the next and she heard screaming. Pulling her headphones down she moved across the room to her front door. She heard and felt the screams and slams through the door. Quickly she grabbed her bat, then opened the door to her neighbor Alan being chomped on by someone. The door fell open as his limp body fell along with the person eating him.
Sabrina took her bat and swung with all her might at the person eating Alan. She had played too many games to know where this was going, and in turn she smashed his head in as well. She wouldn't let him turn into one of those things... He already suffered enough. Taking that though as a signal, she grabbed her backpack, some clothes and a few items she thought would make as good weapons then left.
When she left she went straight home to her parents and sister. Sadly she was too late in finding her mother bleeding out, her father gone, and her sister completely turned. Again, she bashed in some skulls and that's when she lost herself to the vacant void of her imagination.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
- Since it all started Sabrina stuck to being alone. Not as many of the zombies would smell her if she was the only one. However, being as lonely as that was she didn't have much mental stimulation. This only solidified in her mind that she hadn't run into any interesting NPC's. And she's a bit upset she hasn't really met the love interest set for her.
She hasn't done much moving around since most of it was on foot. That was until she found a guy with a nice motorcycle. They got to drinking, talking, mostly her teasing him. When he passed out she took his keys and took the bike. Now she's moving around with no real destination in mind.
