Describe your character's life before the Apocalypse:
Finn was the only son of an Irish hoodlum in Boston and he never knew his mother. When he was 4 years old, his father was shot and killed by the police during a bank robbery. Finn was placed into an orphanage until his 18th. In the orphanage he met his two best friends Gary and Natalie, two orphaned gangster's children like himself. He finished high school and the three of them started working for the same Irish mob boss his father used to work for. Finn and Gary did errands for their boss such as collecting debts, while Natalie helped keep the books.
After the old Irish mob boss got locked away for life, his gang fell apart and Finn, Natalie and Gary went into business for themselves. Through old contacts of his dad Finn was able to set up his own heist crew with Gary and Natalie, and with some of the younger members from their former gang. They robbed banks in Boston, New York, Chicago, Cleveland, Atlanta, Cleveland and Seattle. Because of their humane manner in dealing with civilians who were in the bank, and because they donated 10% of each take to a good cause; the newspapers and law enforcement agencies throughout the countries named them 'The Sainted Rileys', because of their Bostonian heritage. Unfortunately their altruism didn't make the law enforcement agencies forgive their crimes and they were put on top of the FBI's Most Wanted list.
The heist crew dreamed of one final big score; the Bank of America in Los Angeles. After months of planning the day of the robbery came but due to an unfortunate twist of fate, it was the same day the undead would start walking the streets of Los Angeles.
What happened to your character on Outbreak Day?:
While robbing the bank, the crew had accounted for all the security within the bank except for one. The lone security guard shot and killed Paul Hannigan, to which Finn's best friend Gary killed the security guard. Having already a clusterfuck on their hands, it became even worse when both Paul and the security guard came back alive. Chaos ensued and amidst it, Seamus and Daniel were killed as well.
With all the people running out of the bank, the police weren't able to get to Gary and Finn. Both men split up and ran for it, having only taken a small portion of the money. Natalie, who was running the operation in an Eastern LA apartment, was never heard from again, just like Gary.
A wave of walkers forced Finn into an alley, where he was cornered by the young police officer Eva Ramirez. But just as Finn was surrendering, Eva was attacked by a walker and couldn't fight him off. Finn killed the walker and before Eva could thank or arrest him, more walkers had come. In an uncharacteristic for her decision, Eva gave Finn his assault rifle back and both of them started fighting off the walkers. The line between right and wrong had gone away; they were no longer a cop and a robber; now they were just two people fighting for their lives.
Describe your character's life after the Apocalypse:
Finn and Eva fought their way out of Los Angeles together, bonding as each day passed their life was in peril. They holed up in a mansion in the Hollywood Hills for a few days, before finally taking off in an 'acquired' Shelby GT500.
As the world went further down into darkness, Finn and Eva became good friends and relied on eachother to survive. To them, it didn't matter anymore who they were before. What mattered was who they were now. They survived together for more than a year, until one fateful day they ran into an ambush while scavenging; leaving Eva mortally wounded.
