Michael finished making his warm food but began coughing and ran to the bathroom chocking into the sink. He was worried now, he had cancer once before and right now he either had a bad infection or lung cancer. He coughed some blood out and looked at the mirror "I pray these antibiotics work..." He took some and swallowed. He headed back into the room where the girls were looking across "You two want any food?"
Kevin listened as Roman told him he didn’t had bad intentions and he agreed to Kevin keeping the gun, he did ask to take good care of it, since it belonged to his uncle. Kev felt bad for taking it from him, but if they decided they could trust it he would give it back.
“I’ll keep a good eye on it. “ Kevin said. Then he placed his own handgun in the holster from his belt. With his now free hand he grabbed the keys from his pocket and unlocked the gate, while still holding the shotgun in his other hand. Then he opened the gate and waited for Roman to get in.
“Well I’m glad we can offer you a sleep spot.” Kevin said with a smile.

Roman smiled when Kevin said he would take care of it, whether or not he kept his word he was glad that the guy acknowledged that, and who knows he might actually take care of it. He watched as he unlocked and opened the gate and as Roman stepped inside he felt a lot calmer now just being with someone that wasn't a rotting walking corpse.
"I'm glad you guys offered, and if you guys aren't eating I got some food to share. It's not that much but I can't just give you nothing while your helping me out."
Kevin smiled as Roman offered food. “Well I’m not in charge so you are going to have to ask my friend downstairs, if you need to share food, but I don’t think so.” Wyatt said as he gave the man a warm smile. He Always felt good when he could help people, especially in this fucked up time. Then he closed and locked the gate again, after that he walked to the door and held it open. “After you.” He said with a smile. But he wouldn’t let Roman pass until Michael used the word. Since then Michael would know it was safe.

Hearing Tory talk about what she had gone through - and seeing the tears that came from it - started to break Stephanie's heart, especially since, unlike her, Tory had gotten to grow up with her parents. "Its' alright, its' alright," Stephanie whispered, giving her a comforting hug as they sat there. "At least you got to know your parents; mine passed away when I was very young...I don't even remember mine, kid," she added, not really knowing what to say to Tory but feeling as though she had to say something. "Never forget your memories, Tory...never forget them. Hold onto them, keep them in your mind where you can think back on them and remember this: you are a survivor, Tory. You made it this far, you'll make it."
It seemed weird, Stephanie thought to herself, to try and comfort Tory, who sounded and looked grief-stricken, but it was the least she felt she could do for her. We've got to start looking out for everyone, she mused, and that starts from the oldest among us down the line...

"Never forget your memories, Tory...never forget them. Hold onto them, keep them in your mind where you can think back on them and remember this: you are a survivor, Tory. You made it this far, you'll make it."
Tory returned Steph's hug; she needed it. Am I really a survivor? She had made it this far, she supposed, but she felt like it was largely due to luck and the help of others. I suppose that's still surviving. But what about the zombie she couldn't shoot and how she froze upon first meeting Steph? Tory's thoughts ran rampant. Maybe it was her fault, maybe if she hadn't been so afraid, maybe she could have been ready and shot the walker before it bit her mother. No...don't think like that. There was nothing she could have done to make any difference. It was the car in front; it just happened to break at the wrong time in the wrong place. Remember your memories is what Steph told her; that's what she'd have to do.
Tory dried her eyes the best she could before quietly thanking Steph. She's a good friend to have. Tory still felt like crying, and it was probably evident in her voice, but at least she had someone to help her through the sadness.
Michael came in offering food. She hadn't noticed him leaving but she saw him come back. "No thanks, I'm not hungry, I'll probably go to sleep soon." Tory replied softly. When did he leave the door? Wasn't he waiting for Kevin? Speaking of which, while Michael must have gotten up while she was lost in her crying, Kevin was still outside. "Steph, shouldn't Kevin be back by now?" There has got to be a person up there. she believed, he would have been back if it was something else.

Roman shrugged when Kevin declined the offer for food, they might have been making something already and were conserving resources. Besides it wasn't his way to judge, they did just offer him a place to rest his head without the fear of someone gnawing at it. When Kevin opened the other door and held it open for him Roman had to smile back.
"I just got to thank you again for this, I think it's almost been a month or maybe even two since I had a roof over my head. I hope there is some way I can pay you back."

"Steph, shouldn't Kevin be back by now?
Stephanie thought about Tory's question for a couple of seconds, thinking it had been a little while since Kevin had went off to check on the noise earlier. "Yeah, he should be," she replied, getting up on one knee so that she could look better. "Hey, Michael," she called out, just loud enough for him to hear but not loud enough to attract outside attention, "is Kevin back yet?" Dumb question to ask, she knew, she right then she really couldn't think of anything else to ask.
Kevin smiled as Roman thanked him again. “Wow that is a long time that you have been out, it’s good to have a roof under over your head and there is no need to think about how to repay me or the others, I think that since we are all survivors we have to support each other.” Kevin said with a smile as he gave the guy a pat on the back.
Then he heard Michael yelling, he did respond to the sound and Kev was glad to see he was guarding the place very well. “Thunder!!” Kevin yelled back. Then he motioned for Roman to go on while he closed the backdoor that led to the alley. “I brought another visitor!” Kevin yelled. “I took his gun, so he won’t be able to harm us, but he seems friendly.” Kevin said as he winked at Roman and walked down behind him.

Roman smiled as he recieved the pat on the back, this guy was cool, much better than the assholes he had to deal with before. When he yelled out "Thunder" when someone else down there said something at the bottom of staircase. He then gestured to Roman who obliged and started going down the stairs. He didn't expect much of anything down there but he smiled and waved at the man that waited for him downstairs.

“I brought another visitor!” Kevin yelled. “I took his gun, so he won’t be able to harm us, but he seems friendly."
Hearing Kevin, Tory looked towards the door intently; she wanted to see who was coming. She couldn't see much around Michael, whom was by the door, but she could tell it was a guy maybe a few years older than herself.
"Hello, my name's Roman. It's nice to meet you." Tory listened as he introduced himself to Michael. It was as if someone hung a neon sign above the restaurant. She wasn't sure how, but for some reason, they had all found each other under one roof. That realization helped lighten her mood a bit. Despite the tragedy, despite the apocalypse. Here they were, as Steph said- surviving, together.
"Let's go say hi," Tory suggested to Steph before standing up to walk towards the door. She still felt gloomy, but Tory decided it didn't need to stop her from being friendly.

"Let's go say hi," Tory suggested to Steph before standing up to walk towards the door.
"Alright," Stephanie replied as they got up, this time opting to follow Tory's lead rather than her own. She noticed the change in Tory's mood and smiled; things were indeed looking better all the while. "Welcome, Roman," she said, offering a friendly handshake to the new man, whatever fears she might've had about Kevin being outside quietly going away.

Roman heard some footsteps coming from behind the first man down the stairs and noticed two women coming from another room. The first one looked not much younger than him which made him smile for some odd reason and next to her was a woman that gave him a controlled yet casual vibe, just by the way she walked and have out her hand. Very interesting.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all."
He wasn't sure if he was flirtin or just being nice but he added a small bow to the ladies, just to make a good impression. Even if it's the apocalypse he still can be a gentleman.

The new guy, Roman, smiled as they walked over. He was tall, extremely tall to Tory, but he didn't seem threatening. In fact, his smile was almost contagious. Almost. Tory thought to herself, she didn't think she could manage a real one for long, at least not yet.
Then it happened. He bowed while introducing himself and she couldn't help but crack a smile and a quick giggle. It was the zombie apocalypse and this guy was bowing to them, total strangers. She thought it was kinda cute in an awkward sort of way and returned the gesture.
"It's a pleasure to meet you too," Tory replied, adding a fake curtsy at the end with a quick smile before gesturing to herself and her companion. "I'm Tory, and this is Steph."

Michael nodded to Kevin "Well hes your responsibility... grab some more sheets from the cupboard... we have some left" Michael then began to eat his food and looked back to Kevin "Oh yeah... Keys?" Asking for them back. The others were welcoming this new individual but he felt for now to keep his space. His environment had changed in such a short space of time. He let Kevin in and now he had a small group living here and after what had happened earlier he knew the streets would be alive tonight.
Kevin saw how the girls where meeting Roman and talking, but then he heard how Michael said that Roman was his responsibility, he could notice Michael was a bit off, maybe too many people. Not seconds later Michael also asked for the keys. Kevin walked over to him and handed him the keys. “Michael I’m sorry if it wasn’t my call to let him in, but I couldn’t leave him in the cold now could I?” Kevin whispered so only he and Michael would be able to hear.
Roman was busy meeting the girls so all of them wouldn’t notice or hear the private talk. “I know it was more relax with just the two of us and I’m pretty sure it was even better with you alone, but we are all survivors here.” Kevin said softly. “And we had no idea we would run into the girls and again sorry for not asking you if it was ok to let Roman join, but thanks already for trusting me with those keys, feels good.” He added. Then he smiled. “I hope we are good?” Kevin asked as he looked at Michael. “So can I still get the food I was promised earlier?” Kevin asked with a little smile. After that Kevin looked over his shoulder and saw They were still talking so they wouldn’t have noticed the conversation.

Michael looked up "Don't worry about it all Im just adjusting... A lot of people here and after all that shit earlier the streets are going to be active tonight... No going outside till dawn" He pointed to the pot he had cooked in "Anyway your foods in there. Plate up and chill out, been a long day"

Seeing Tory curtsy as Roman introduced himself, Stephanie gave a short curtsy as well. No sense not showing any manners, she mused, even if the world's fallen apart, no sense acting as though we have no manners ourselves. She did give Tory a jokingly friendly push after curtsying herself; smiling afterward at Tory, she was about to say something when she heard Michael call out that the food was ready.
Stepping away for a moment, Stephanie walked over to where her backpack and rifled through it before finding what she'd been looking for. Taking a moment, she quickly drew her hair back into a tight ponytail, fixing a small band around her hair so it would stay in place. Getting up to re-join the others, she smiled and said, "I guess we probably should get something to eat before it gets any later, huh?"

Roman smiled and chuckled a bit, even in the apocalypse he can make girls smile. The curtsy they both did in return reminded him of back at home. Him and the boys would do that a lot to girls in the hallways at school and some of them did that, his girlfriend did that. But he tried not to show him spacing out reminiscing when the talk of food came up.
"Yeah that does sound really good, but pretty ladies first."
He let them go first and yes, even in the apocalypse there had to have some time to flirt a little. He couldn't hold back a smile when he said it, once that grin formed he couldn't stop smiling even through some serious situations.
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
