Many people had died that deathly night. A riot broke out that didn't trust Claira's judgement. A civil war had soon broken fully across Jamestown Island. Derick was in charge in making sure that the children had gotten loaded onto the school buses and other vehicles and make sure they gotten Off the island. Two days later, he had lost track of the convoy since he was held up in heavy fire fight. In the conflict, he had taken a bullet into his left shoulder. With his Dodge Demon, he drove around trying to find them but couldn't get any signs of them. With his gear and supplies packed inside of his car he had his rifle and shotgun on the passenger seat as he drove. His sunglasses were down, his dog tags were out and a cigar on his lips. His hand held radio broke it's silence when he came into New York and was near the Hudson River. Thinking back on his good old days, he remember West Point. Turning down different streets and eventually finding the bridge that lead right towards the Academy. But, to his surprise, he was looking at a make shift guard post. With the engine rumbling, he drove up to the shack and turned off the engine after putting it's E-Brake on. Stepping out, he had his hands up.
Looking at the guards, he saw that they were military. It was good to see some friendly faces. "I am Lieutenant Derick Creed, Army corp of Engineers." Standing there, the one guard radioed it in that there was now someone that was at the Washington Gate, and was proclaiming to be a L.T. of the Army Corp of Engineers. With his hands against the back of his head so that they felt better, they were now waiting for someone to show up at the gate.
