As Donavan drove down the road with Lila he noticed the two men at the gate. "Are those your guys?" Donavan asked as they got closer. When Lila told him to keep an eye out for anything suspicious and got out of the rig drawing her gun on the conscious man, Donavan followed her orders and entered Sunrise. "I'll take that as a no." He thought. Once he parked the rig in Sunrise, he quickly grabbed one of the many first aid kits from the rig and went outside the gate holding the kit well within sight of the man at gunpoint."What happened to your buddy?" He asked as he approached the unconscious man and did a quick check for bites."Were you attacked?" Donavan asked as he cleaned the man's wounds and applied sutures and bandages where they were needed and checked for broken bones.
After waiting for Christian to answer, he turned to Lila. "I'll go get Sean and let him know what's going on." He said as he entered Sunrise again. Donavan looked up at the man in the tower and asked where Sean would be. After getting directions to Sean's location he darted to find Sean and tell him what happened.
Christian spun around at the sound of the big rig pulling up. He had thought they were extinct. But it made sense. As everyone else searched for gas for their minivan, a long haul truck would have lots around. Had they been driving one of those they would have tipped. The walker would have bounced off and they'd be on their way. There was people here, maybe the crash was for the better.
Dragging Thomas out of the path of the Semi Christian laid his brother against the side of the wooden spikes. Some were stained red, effective in their purpose. He watched as the truck came to a stop and causally leaned against the spiked himself. He kept his arms down by his side. He knew there was no purpose fighting. The person in the guard tower would have him down before he could do anything. Advantage was always key.
Instead Christian smiled and gave a little wave as the small blonde climbed out of the rig. He saw the gun she pulled and laughed. "You know how to actually use that thing. Don't want you to dislocate your shoulder when you fire it." He smirked and watched the truck roll in. He was giving the situation the once over. Running would mean he would most likely be shot. Fighting wasn't an option, they had no reason to either. Right now cooperation would work the best.
Christian looked down at his brother. "We came from south of here, or was it west? Hard to tell, been on the road so long. All these hickvills blend together. Even now I'm not sure where the fuck I am. Be it Arkansa or Oklahoma." He looked her up and down, sizing her up. "All I know is I was on the highway just beyond those trees there." He said pointing to the clump behind her.
From the gate another man came running. He was the one driving the big rig. Seeing the first aid kit in his hand Christian assumed him to be a medic or a doctor. Though as he got down near Thomas Christian stepped closer. "Easy, stay away from him," Christian said calmly. "He ain't bit, just bruised up." He watched the man check for bites, resisting the urge to pull his gun on the improvised doctor. "I said he's fine, now back off, step away from him." But the man began to check for broken bones and bandaged up his wound.
"For fucks sake is he deaf," Christian asked looking up at the girl. When the man took off and asked the tower guard for directions before taking off again Christian shook his head. "Like a fucking squirrel isn't he. All over the fuckng place" He leaned against the spikes again and looked back at the blonde before him.
"Like I said. He ain't bit, just banged up. We hit a dead on the highway over there, flipped our car. He was knocked out in the crash. I think I twisted my shoulder and he has a cut on his forehead. But beside that we're fine. Saw the walls from the highway, decide shelter was a good place to stop and get rested while he recovered."
Christian stepped away from the spikes. "Didn't expect this place to be filled with people." He paused. "So this Sean guy in charge? Do I get to meet him, or are you just going to let me stand out here." He looked at her. "Name's Christian, what's yours. If I'm going to have to stand out here in the open with you breathing down my neck I want to at least know who you are."
(Skip my boy Tommy, thank you)

"No X-ray, no solution. Just the saline, and the hope that he can eat when he wakes up," Joy answered him. That also told him that they didn't have any nutritional solution. Probably just the food he'd seen, maybe some preserved rations.
"Nothing to do but wait," he said, opening one of the patients eyelids to look at their pupils. Nothing out of the ordinary, there. He didn't know the circumstances, but the patient was probably out of the woods.
"Did you check through their personal effects? See if they have any drugs, meds, so on," he asked the nurses. A few pokes and prods at certain points told him that their reflexes were intact.

"Did you check through their personal effects? See if they have any drugs, meds, so on," he asked the nurses.
Jenny went over to the pile of military stuff that Aryn had been wearing, and started emptying the pouches; various maps of the US, scavenged can openers, multi-tool pliers, various sorts of scissors, a flashlight battery charger, some weird metal brackets, hotel mini-soap bars and shampoos of various kinds, nail polishes.
She lifted an eyebrow and commented "Well, i think we can safely say it's a 'she', because i don't know any man who would collect this many hygiene and beauty items, after the end of the world." Jenny then went back to emptying the pouches; unopened toothbrushes and toothpastes, lots and lots of cigarette lighters in a ziplock baggie, a pouch full of random stuff.... And On, And On, And On. However, there was no sorts of food, and the two canteens, were bone dry.
Aryn then Jerked away, and found hirself Not where she expected, and not as clothed as she was expecting.
Seeing Frank first, she made a snap decision; Aryn was in a Bad Place, and these were Not Nice People. She rolled off of the table, put her back to the wall, and kick-threw the table towards/ at them. Adrenaline and fear rushed through her veins, driving hir onward in spite of doing without food or water.
Seeing her pile of gear there, Aryn crouch-stood over the pile and picked up the helmet, and held it by the front rim, wide-eyed and very ready to smash anyone who would step forth to oppose hir. She lashed out with the helmet at Frank, before shifting and aiming a wide-arcing kick at the two nurses, keeping them at bay.
Juking to the left, in classic capoeira Ginga form, she then re-focused on Frank again, kicking and helmet-thrusting at.

Lila nodded to Donavan as he said he would go and get help. She didn't know who these guys were, but they needed some help. At least one did. Sean was pretty good with people and he had a knack for figuring out who was good and who was bad. Sean surrounded himself with good people, which meant she was a good person too she supposed. "Okay Donavan. Tell him to hurry. This guy don't look so good. We ain't letting you in until we know for sure he ain't bit."
She was looking at the passed out man before bringing her eyes and the attention of the gun back to Christian as he seemed to mock her and the gun she held in her hand. She didn't like that tone he was taking and although she was not a burly girl or even one that looked athletic enough to carry a big gun, she sure as hell knew how to handle it. She held it up higher, pointing it at Christian's head, or at least it looked that way. She kept the nozzle pointed at a spot behind him though. "You wanna see if I can use this gun? I'll be happy to show you."
She was dead serious as she said thatand she didn't particularly care for what he was saying about Donavan. She liked the guy. He brought booze and supplies and that was a welcomed relief for the entire community. "Donavan is a good guy. Are you a good guy or just some asshole with a guy who is pretending to need help?"
She looked down at Thomas again and it was clear he was injured, but they could be faking it. Anything was possible. "You'll meet Sean. He's in charge here. He calls the shots if you come in or not." She knew Sean would let them in and take their weapons to start the day off. She also knew they would get them back. But for now, she would keep them, especially Christian, here at gunpoint until it was safe to let them in.
"I'm Lila. Sorry you got in a crash. I crashed from them biters too not long ago. Oh, and you're in Missouri, so there's that."
She really had nothing more to say to Christian. She wanted to keep her guard up as she waited for Sean to come. There was a guard at the tower, but he could see she had these two handled on the ground and one of the two was knocked out. "Just lay your friend on the ground. Sean will be out soon."
"This guy is just a little banged up. He hit his head in the crash. Ain't like there's broken bones or anything. I checked, I know a broken bone when I feel one. Sure his head is scrapped up, but he's not loosing lots of blood. Brush the glass shards out of his hair and he's good as new," Christian said calmly, looking toward Lila.
"You want to check for bites, go right ahead. You're friend Donny sure as shit felt him up and down. You aren't going to find anything he didn't. But go ahead. Probably be the most actions he's got in years. Then when you're done you can check me for bites too if you wish. Just promise to be gentle, I like a gentle touch," He looked at Thomas and then back at Lila before he smiled. "I mean come on blondie. You really think I'd be this calm with him having a bite in him. I'm not stupid. I know you got to chop it or kill it. Ain't no in between. Was just a crash, wreckage is just beyond those trees, on the highway. See for yourself or send Donny."
Christian leaned agasint the wooden spikes watching the gun. "What model is that thing? How fast are you with the trigger?" He motioned to the assault rifle on his back. "I squeeze the trigger of this baby and it pumps through twenty rounds if I hold it. How many you think Eagle Eye up there can get before then?" He motioned to the guard up in the tower.
"Is anyone a good guy anymore? Sure I'm an asshole, but I'm an asshole who means well. I ain't gonna burn down your Fort if that's what you're asking. I can play nice. Get a drink in me and I'll play even nicer. I just want him safe," he motioned to Thomas. "I need to make sure he wakes up, and is okay. As long as I got a place to wait out the dead, I'll be happy."
He looked around. "You really think he's faking? Your buddy was slapping him around trying to bandage him up. He's been laying on the ground not moving for how long now? Check for yourself, Eagle eye has you covered." Christian nudged Thomas over from where he was slumped on to his back. "See he's knocked out. The blood is real too, ain't Ketchup darling. That glass in his hair and beard, just as real."
Christian smiled. "Well let's hope this charming is just half as charming as you are. Waving you gun around. I don't feel very welcomed right now. Quite the opposite actually." He just needed a safe place to rest, that's it. If they had demands he would follow. But right now there was very little happening. More gun waving than anything.
"Nice to meet you Lila, see we can be friends. No reason to go hating on each other. We are both survivors, just looking out for those we care about. This guy here, my brother, I care about him. I'm sure you care about Donny, Sean, and even Eagle Eye up there. Aint no one looking at hurting no one. Just want my brother in a safe place till he wakes up. Hell I'd even settle just beyond that first gate. Don't even need to go through the second one."
He kicked the dirt under him. "No need to feel sorry for the crash. I was going to fast, fucked up. Hit a dead, flipped the car. Shit happened." He looked around. "Missouri huh, never been before. What's it known for? Besides not so friendly blondes and squirly ameture medics that is." He smiled and looked at the gun in her hand. "Joking of course."
Christian ran his hand through his hair. "I don't like waiting princess. I got stuff in that SUV we flipped. Prime for picking, but it was my brother or the gear. Lover we wait, higher the chance it ain't got no to be there when I get back. What do you guys want? Supplies? Ammo? Just let me inside, let me make sure he's okay, and we can make a deal."
(Again Tommy will not be positing till he wakes up)

Donavan burst into the medical room as Aryn swung a helmet at Frank. Seeing the immediate threat to the doctor he jumped between the attack and Frank taking a hit to the chest which knocked him back. "Woah Woah Woah." Donavan yelled wincing from the hit. " No one here wants to hurt you, they brought you in for treatment when you blacked out in front of the gate." Noticing Aryn's lack of clothes he slowly handed her his duffel bag. "Here." He said offering her the bag. "There's a set of clothes in the bag, put them on and we'll get you something to eat, ok?" He said reassuringly as he turned to Sean. There's two more people at the gate that Lila is keeping an eye on, and one of them is knocked out, I patched him up a bit but we should get Frank to look at him. Donavan turned to Frank and the to women he had never met. "You guys ok?" he asked before turning to Aryn again and asked if she needed anything. " I'm gonna go check on Lila anyway so I can grab anything you need on the way there, oh where are my manners? My name is Donavan what's yours?" He said cautiously extending his hand for a handshake.

Frank recognized pure panic when he saw it. He also recognized the pure unadulterated fight that came from the base instincts of a person's brain. As he saw her spring into action, he took a step back to create space. If he'd have had his gun, he might have drawn it then. Hand to hand fights were for suckers. Instead, when he saw the table sliding toward him, he bent at the knees and leaned forward at the waist. Catching it and sliding it to a stop almost instantly, he moved it out of his way so he could try and get the patient to calm down.
He wondered if they had any sedatives, in between dodging kicks and shots with the helmet. He recognized it. Certainly harder than the skull that usually went inside it. While he looked for his opening, another body entered the room. This one, the alcoholic. And he went right into the fray, taking a good shot to the diaphragm and doing all he could to reassure the patient who was beyond freaked out, but not quite freaking the fuck out.
With a pregnant pause, Frank waited for the patient to respond. Hopefully to calm down, because they'd ripped their IV out and they were now bleeding slowly but steadily on the floor.
Right then, someone else dived in the way, and took a full hit to the sternum from her helmet. "Woah Woah Woah." he yelled, wincing from the hit. How he wasn't on the floor, breathless, was impressive. " No one here wants to hurt you, they brought you in for treatment when you blacked out in front of the gate." Aryn blinked some, still hefting the helmet mid-swing.
He slowly handed her his duffel bag. "Here." He said, offering her the bag. Seeing him Lk at hir, Aryn nervously blushed and got an 'o-snap !' look on her face, and dropped the helmet onto the pile, only to snatch up her motorcycle jacket and hold it backwards over herself at the neck. She was starting to feel tired, as the adrenaline declined, and the hunger, thirst, and lack of sleep resumed its toll on her.
Donavan turned to Frank and the to women he had never met. "You guys ok ?" he asked before turning to Aryn again and asked if she needed anything. She shook her head no and seemed to be kinda deflated.
" I'm gonna go check on Lila anyway so I can grab anything you need on the way there, oh where are my manners? My name is Donavan what's yours ?" He said cautiously extending his hand for a handshake. Aryn reached to switch hands, but noticed that her left arm was now covered in streaks of blood. Pausing some, she looked at the tear-out wound that she still didn't feel pain from, before extending her right hand to shake Donovan's hand "I'm Aryn." she simply said, her voice sounding androgynous.

"You know something? You ask a lot of questions." And he seemed to talk a lot too. She went to his brother and kneeled down, still keeping her gun in hand. If she were to stash it in her jeans, this guy could easily overpower her and take it to use against her. She was usually on guard when she was outside the gates. Once inside Sunrise, she knew she could relax and be herself again. Then again, she didn't even know what her true self was now a days.
She moved Tommy's head back and forth a little, brushing away a few flecks of glass so none would get in his eyes when he woke up. "He probably has a concussion. He'll need to sleep for at least a few days before ya'll get back to the road." She looked back up at Christian as he spoke about the supplies in the truck. "Them supplies are probably already picked clean by now. I've seen a lot of people coming through lately. If Sean lets you both in, you can get your brother settled then go back."
She gave Christian an odd look as he spoke about not feeling welcomed right now. "You don't feel welcome right now? What do you want me to do? Get you a basket of flowers, some wine and have someone serenade you? Of course you don't feel welcomed, at least, not by me. I'm protecting this place. Sean...he's a different story. He makes the decisions here and if he let's you in, then you'll be welcomed." Her eyes moved to his gun with a raised brow. "You'll have to lose the weapon for a bit when you come in though."
Was she saying too much? She felt like she was saying too much. She couldn't speak on behalf of this colony. It wasn't hers to speak about. Sean brought her in just as much as he allowed anyone else in and for that she had an extraordinary amount of gratitude.
"We all work together here. We work, we protect, we find supplies. If you can play well with the other kids in the playground, then we'll let you on the monkey bars too."
She stood back up now thinking about his inquiry about Missouri. She knew probably about as much as he did an she shrugged. "I don't know much about this place. I'm from Texas. Where you two from anyways? And don't give me some vague bullshit answer like 'down south' or 'back east.' I want to know where specifically you're from." And she had her reasons for that. The slavers and raiders of Oklahoma were, by far, the worst she had encountered yet.
"Well maybe I'm a little curious. I mean a Fort in back ass no where. Not a military based, but these walls are solid. I see houses inside, so residential. Yet not near a city from the looks of it. You build these houses yourself? This Sean an architect. Just doesn't add up. So I'm curious, and questions are how you solve that," Christian said calmly.
He watched her examine Tommy, though he saw her hand still on her gun. He could get the jump on her from this angle. It would be a fight for it, one he could probably use more strength for. But then he'd just be shot in the back by the guard. There was no winning this. Christian knew when to back down, when he could use words instead of violence.
"Probably does, he hit his head. Lucky it wasn't both of us. Think I bruised my shoulder, but beyond that I got lucky. Let's hope he did too," he said looking down at his brother. As she spoke about the supplies he shook his head. "Shit shit. I need that gear. There's two packs and my brother's weapons. I can't loose them. He's already going to tear me a new one for flipping the car.""
Christian started to pace back and forth as Lila spoke. "I'm not going to have weapons to loose if I don't get those supplies. I don't mind handing over our weapons if it means we can come inside, but right now what I got on my back and hip, that's it." He pulled his pistol out and held it by the barrel out for her. "You want it, take it."
He looked back at Tommy. "Yeah yeah I can play well. Tell you what. You let my brother inside and I'm happy. I need to get the gear I left and I don't want him out here. I k ow you don't trust me right now, but you said you all work together. We can work with you. Have some one watch him, or he'll do it yourself. I just need to get that gear. But I can't until I know he's safe. You don't trust me, come with me. Leave him here, beyond the wall as a leverage. I'll get the gear, and it all works out."
Stopping he looked at her. "What can I say, I'm from the east coast, my brother was born on the west. Think he was from Washington or something, I don't know. I was born in Brooklyn. We didn't stay there long, lived all over. Grew up in and around Northern California. When I was old enough I left town and lived down south in Texas, Florida, and while in Reno and Vegas. Before this shit Tommy and I lived in LA. I don't have time to give you a whole detailed backstory."
He looked he really over. "Tell you what, you help me out, help my brother out. I'll tell you what ever the hell you want."

"It's nice to meet you Aryn." Donavan said as he shook her hand and turned to leave. " I'll leave you to get patched up, I gotta go check on the people outside of the gate, I'd suggest that Sean follows because the guy who's still conscious doesn't seem too patient." Donavan left the medical room and started to walk towards the gate making a pit stop at his rig to grab a jar of whiskey from the many cases he had stacked in the rig. "Nothing makes time pass by like liquor." He chuckled to himself as he walked out of the gate to see Christian and Lila. "Sean should be on his way here soon, our blacked out friend woke up and lost her shit, it took her a while to calm down." Donavan winced as he felt a sharp pain in his chest. "She's good now, just a little spooked." Donavan approached Lila and Christian. "Did I miss anything important?" He asked as he passed Christian handing him the jar and said; " Consider it an apology for the less than welcome greeting, but I gotta warn it's strong as hell." He stood next to Lila and said to her; "I told Sean about them, and told him we should probably get sleepyhead over here inside to let doc check on him if that's ok."

Clara walked through the woods as the sun beat down from the clear blue sky, The leaves in full bloom and the fresh dirt under her boots as she hummed a little tune to herself; readjusting the three Eastern Cottontail's she had been able to kill that morning. The lack of Hunters these days and their ability to hide from the walkers in hard to reach places had allowed their species to flourish after the end of the world and this had been a godsend for her former caretaker and mentor Greg. And now it was as well a godsend to her.
Making her way past a few tree's she had glanced up at the sun to see it was still rising slightly and adjusted her course to head slightly Northeast before returning her attention to the maze of tree's and foliage in front of her as she took a deep breath with her nose. I've always wondered what this place smells like. I bet it smells great. she thought as she hopped across water washed rocks across a small stream. A giggle escaping her lips as she landed lightly on her feet on the opposite side. A smile on her face at the prospect of finding a safe place she took another step forward and continued her journey. "Today's the day, I just know it!" she cheered in a soft voice to herself while glancing around to make sure there were no Bitters around.
About an hour of walking later she came up to a small clearing and across the clearing she could see walls spreading along a stretch. I KNEW IT! She mentally cheered before noticing the commotion near the gate. Two guys and a woman by the looks of it, Along with a guard in the tower. "People!" she quietly shouted as a smile formed on her face. "Wonder what's going on?" she pondered as she watched them for a few moments and saw a man come out with what looked like a box with a red cross on it. Medical supplies? Is he hurt? bit? she pondered as she readjusted the rifle on her shoulder and switched the rabbits to her other hand, letting the land on her other shoulder once more. "Now, Let's hope this isn't a 'shoot first ask names later' sort of group. Calm, Play it cool." she said to herself as she stood up and bounced on her heals slightly before taking a deep breath to attempt to steady her hand that had begun to shake, probably out of nerves more than anything but shake all the same.
Emerging from the tree line she stood there and peered across the clearing at the small gathering near the gate she started walking as the man in the guard tower took notice. "Hi! I'm Clara, Don't go shooting at me ok?" She called to them in a cheery manner before stopping in her tracks as the man aimed his gun at her. "I'm not looking for trouble Mr. Guard Man. Just a new place to call home is all."

Frank stayed silent while Donavan spoke like the motormouth he seemed to be, not the most apt conversationalist himself these days. When he finally left, he slowly made his way to a supply counter and grabbed some gauze and antiseptic. Setting them on a rolling table, he pushed the table back to it's former place and looked at Aryn.
"I apologize for the unpleasantness," he said. "It's your decision to leave, if you want. But I highly recommend you let me fix your arm. Further, I recommend you let us put you on more fluids, and that we get some food in you. I can tell by looking at you, you're a day away from dehydration, a week from starvation at most." He waited for her to respond, trying to be soothing and patient, as much as a six foot four man could be.

Aryn fetched a raggedy black t-shirt from the pile of her stuff, before depositing her jacket, and carefully slipped the shirt on, easing her left arm into the sleeves, before sitting back up on the table, once it was back where it was supposed to be. "Yeah, sounds about right...." she said, her energy abating. She laid back and apparently dozed asleep for afew minutes.
Waking up again, she spoke. "Sorry for freaking out, but it's a head screw for any sort of girl, to be waking up elsewhere, in not but lacy pretties, with a .... Rough-looking guy about looming over." s/he said quietly, allowing him to do Doctor stuff.

Lila stood back up and tucked the gun back into her pants as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Look, I really don't know who built it, I was assuming it's Sean Delfino, the guy who is pretty much in charge here. I ain't been here too long myself, but it's stable, we got supplies and so far haven't been subjected to too many raiders." She thought back to not long ago when they had an incident, but it seemed pretty much over before it began anyways.
"When you come inside, you'll hand over your weapons, but that don't mean you lose them forever. You'll get them back. It's just a...thing...you know...that he does."
She felt like they had been waiting an eternity for Sean to come out and she wondered if she was going to be the one making the decision now. She looked back at the gate, up to the guard who still had his rifle ready then back to the pair. "Okay, look. I'll get you in now. The more we wait out here, the more chances we have of someone or something finding us, so come on then."
As she was about to turn and help Christian with his knocked out brother, Donavan came bounding out and handing Christian a jar. He said Sean gave him the go ahead to let the pair in and really, she had no other reason to doubt that. Sean was generous and vet them out as needed. He had a knack for people. Certainly better then she did. "Put the jar down and help him get his brother inside. I'll get the weapons of them and Sean can..."
But they were interrupted by another voice that seemed to come from nowhere. She immediately pulled out her gun and glared at the girl that approached with a cheery disposition. The last thing she wanted to do was wait out here more with the chance of being seen. "I ain't no man." She looked the girl up and down and she could see she was talking to the guard in the tower.
"Alright, everyone, just get in the gate before anyone else pops out of the woods like raccoons looking for food."
She would be the last one in, and again, her hand was tight around her gun as the newcomer made her appearance. Trust was something you earned in this new world, not something that was automatically given because you have a smile or supplies.

Clara tightened her grip on the rabbits around her shoulder and prepared to duck as she saw the woman near the front grip her gun and look in her direction. "Sorry. Miss Boss lady I presume?" she answered to the woman as she made her way slightly closer and stopped a short distance away from the small group near the opening in the wall. "Like I said, I'm not looking for trouble or nothin, Just gets lonely out here on your own ya know? People are much more fun than the bitters" she said with a grin again at the woman. In reality the thoughts of Greg were starting to get to her and her mind was screaming for some form of human contact.
Approaching the group a little further she held up her hands in surrender with the rabbits hanging from her shoulder. "Look, You can do whatever procedure you people do for newcomers. I just need new people, If you haven't noticed I enjoy talking to people." she said while a small chuckle followed the words "Is.. 'Everyone' including me? Or am I to wait out here for the all clear with my friend up there?"
Clara's nerves were starting to well up inside her at the question, Not from the talking to people; But from the thought that they might reject her and send her on her way, or worse. The thought of the worse sent a tinge of worry across her mind as she stood there awaiting the woman's response. "What.. What is your 'procedure' for newcomers?"
"Yeah yeah, take the weapons, pat me down, check for bites, whatever you have to do. This isn't my first time in a stronghold. You all have the same kind of drills. Keeping everyone safe, and everyone protected. As long as I get those guns back when I leave, then I'll be happy. Ones like these don't come cheap anymore," Christian said calmly. He didn't like being unprotected, but it was what the wanted. It was what would keep Thomas safe. "Just as long as I get my brother behind those walls and I can go get the supplies before they're gone."
He looked at Lila a she agreed to let them in. "Now that's what I'm talking about. Safety. I don't like my brother being out of it with all the dead around. Until he recovers, it doesn't matter. I need the supplies and him safe. It's clear you don't want to be out here, so this is better for everyone."
Christian moved back as Donny came back out and Christian listened to what he had to say. "So Sean is justmletting us in. We don't even get to meet him. Lucky us, get to skip the unwelcome pat downs." He looked at Lila, pulling off his gun slowly as he did. He held the assault rifle out for her to take. "You wanted our guns, then take th.."
He was cut short by a voice coming from the road. She said her name and that she wasn't looking for trouble. She was just a child, alone by the looks of it. Lila was quick to speak and Christian just laughed. "Think she was talking about Eagle eye up in the tower." He smiled at the girl and then at Donny, taking the jar the man offered.
"More of a vodka man myself. But I'll take the gift. Though you should save it for later, I'll share a glass with you once I get my supplies back." He looked back at t Lila. "We have are go ahead to go in. I gave my gun. Once Thomas is inside though, I need to get those supplies. Could use your help to let me back in once I have them. Or Donny's even."
Christian moved toward the gate pulling his pistol and handing that to Lila as he walked past her. "The preclude kiddo. You get a gun pointed at you by a short blond while Donny over there hands you a drink. Least that's what I get the feel of anyway." He smiled. "She isn't with me by the way. Consider her showing up to be coincidence."
He stopped and moved to help Thomas inside. As he walked her looked at Lila. "Should I take him to your medbay, or just stick him in the shade. He doesn't look like he's bleeding anymore. Any room would be fine. He may be a little in shock when he wakes up though, just warning you. Last thing he remembers is our car rolling."

Donavan quickly helped Christian get Thomas inside as Clara followed behind them. " I would suggest we take him to the medbay so doc can check on hi m and make sure we didn't miss anything." He said to Lila as he waited for her reply. He then turned to Clara. "What's your name kid? I'm Donny." He said kindly with a warm smile. It had been a while since he'd seen a kid her age and he wondered how long had she been on her own. "This world really knows how to mess you up." He thought. " A kid on their own in a world like this is fucked up." He thought as he turned his head away from Lila and Clara as a tear fell down the side of his face. He quickly wiped the tear away as he remembered Christian could still see his face. " I got a little dirt in my eye." He said quietly to Christian. He turned to Lila and said, " What sounds like a better idea Lila? Medbay, or shade?"
