Looking at the areas around them, she was wondering what he had meant by her and Sarah and then trailed off. Looking at him. She would say to him. "You can speak your mind Brandon. No one here judges anyone for what they feel or say. I rather much encourage those to speak up on what they think for it gives me a sense of who I am dealing with. That goes for everyone. So please, finish your thought about me and my fiance Sarah."
"I think you just answered your question, Masumi," Bam said, continuing. "Tegan's the same way; I remember the first time I questioned an order from her....at the time, I didn't know whether to question her with everyone else around or wait until everyone else was gone before questioning her over it. You know what she said to me? She said, 'Anytime there's a question or concern, just ask. Just ask.' "
"Now I mention that because I've noticed Sarah's the same way...the reason I trailed off there was because I was going to go off on a tangent about how one's father shouldn't do what yours' did - and once I get wound up like that, Masumi, I tend to eventually say things I'll later regret, so I just clammed up there. But I will say, Masumi," Bam added, looking out at the vista before them, "and that is that I think you and Sarah are going to make a great couple."

"We wouldn't be standing for long in our birthday suits in here, love," Tamara said playfully as she got dressed, taking care not to get any blood on her clothes, pausing so that Mercy could place a small dressing over her left hand...while she was getting dressed, she heard Mercy sniffling a little bit and went over to hug her. "Hey, hey, hey," Tamara whispered, quietly shushing her beloved as they stood there in the bedroom, "its' no dream, Mercy; we're engaged and I'm absolutely beside myself with joy and happiness. I feel like I could walk on clouds right now, I'm that happy.
After a moment's pause, she added, "Tell you what; we'll both go see Kern, see how he's doing...then we'll take a walk around the grounds; that sound good?" nipping Mercy's nose as they stood close.

After patching up Tamara's hand, she looked up at her lover and smiled as Tamara comforted her. Wrapping her arms around her hips, she pulled Tamara closer to her as she just watched her. Everything she did was kind and pure. A smile came to her face as she kissed Tamara's stomach. Then she proposed an idea to her which made Mercy to lean her head back in think. "Let me check your schedule sweetie...You wanted to meet with the people who flew that warplane and that little chopper while we rescued Jason, and you wanted to talk to Sarah your sister. Maybe after you get done talking to them my love, we can go for that walk. But if it's to late, then you and I are skinny dipping out in that pool while the moon is full. Nothing screams Romance then two lovers in a body of water while the moon shines on them."

And she brings me back to earth, Tamara thought as Mercy reminded her of her schedule; she didn't mind, though, as they kept their embrace...eventually, she leaned back, Mercy's arms holding her fast to the other, and sighed. "Thus go the chains of leadership," she said, kissing Mercy as they stood there in the bedroom. "Alright, you check on the Viking, see how he's doing; I'm going to call the team leaders, let them know what's going on. Then, I'm going to talk with Sis, tell her about our plans....
"And then," Tamara added, trailing a couple of light kisses along Mercy's cheek and jawline, "we'll take that walk around the grounds, finish it up with a moonlight swim in the Neptune Pool...just you and me."

But I will say, Masumi," Bam added, looking out at the vista before them, "and that is that I think you and Sarah are going to make a great couple."
Nodding her head, she took out a rag from her shirt pocket and wiped her forehead of the sweat that was starting to form. Putting it back, she would look at Bam and smile at him. "Why, I think you for your support and thinking that me and Sarah are going to make a great Couple. My first week here, Sarah told me a few times. 'If you have any problems, concerns, or quests...just come and ask me. I don't care if it's 12 o'clock at night. I want to make sure that you are fine and understand everything.' " Remembering then, it caused Masumi to look down and smile.

Mercy stood there with Tamara in her arms. She didn't want to let go, but she knew she had to though. Feeling the kiss on her lips didn't help matters much. Her lover said her plans as to what she was going to do. When she started to kiss her cheek and jawline, a light moan escaped from Mercy's mouth. Whispering to her. "Oh you tease me so much...I love it." The rest of the plan was told to her about how they were going to take a walk along the grounds and then that they both were going for a moonlit swim, just the two of them. Smiling as she looked down at Tamara, she nodded her head. "Sounds like a plan love. I'll radio on Jason's condition. Can't wait to see you later on babe." Kissing Tamara one more time, she grabbed her bag and her weapons. Slinging her rifle over his shoulder and neck, she holstered her handgun and her knife. With the bag in her hands, she went towards the door and opened it. Stopping in the door way, she looked back at Tamara. "I love you, my Steel Wolf." Blowing her a kiss and a wink, Mercy left the room and began her journey down towards the Medical wing which was on the ground floor.
Stepping down onto the ground floor, she began to walk towards the area as she waved at the others and smiled with her friendly smile as she was greeted by scouts and San Simeon staff. Walking in the Medical Wing, she saw that Jason was awake and looked grumpy a bit. Going over to his bed side, she sat the bag down in a chair as she took out a flash light to look over the injuries he had. "Good morning Jason, how are you today?" Jason looked at Mercy and took notice at her neck. "You mean besides have objects stabbed into me and then you closing the wound with a Very hot fucking knife? I'm alright besides having the pain pulsing through my body. I was told about Julie....she is going to be one who is going to be missed. But it seems like you had a grand time last night by the looks of those bite wounds. If it's all the same to you, just check my wounds and just leave. We as a group is mourning the death of our leader's wife and we don't want someone around us who just wants to fuck someone else."
Feeling the bite of his words, she looked down at the healing injuries and changed the bandages. Grabbing the bag she had carried with her, she left Jason alone. Feeling bad in a way, she walked to out back and sat down in a chair. She was trying to hide from everyone else as she dropped the bag to the floor and cupped her face in her hands. How Jason talked to her was painting a picture that she was some type of slut or whore. Tears streamed down her face as she began to sob to herself. Mercy felt a bit dirty as the words struck her strong like she was hit with a baseball bat to the stomach. Taking the rifle off of her, she placed it on the bag as scouts walked past her, thinking that she was crying about what had happened to Julie and would let her grieve in her own way. All she wanted right now was to be held after that, but she knew that Tamara had a busy day ahead of her. But as promised, she picked up the shoulder mic that attached to her Radio and pushed in the button. A hint of sadness mixed with pain was heard as she tried to clear her throat to make her sound normal. "Tamara, Jason is getting better. His wounds are healing nicely." Letting go of the button, she sat there for a moment, looking across the landscape.

After a few more hugs and kisses, Tamara knew she had a busy day ahead of her; kissing Mercy one last time, she said, "I'll see you later today, alright," Walking over towards the bedroom door, she heard Mercy say to her, "I love you, my Steel Wolf." Smiling, Tamara replied, "I love you too, Roaming Coyote," watching as Mercy blew her a kiss and winked.
Stepping outside the bedroom, Tamara - dressed in a Blackwater poo shirt, jeans and hiking boots - headed downstairs and out towards her Tundra, which served as the Scouts' command vehicle for all the extra radio antenna perched on it. Receiving a mix of condolences, thoughts and prayers from everyone she ran across, she eventually stepped outside the Main Castle and made it to her Tundra; leaning up against it, she rested her head in her hands as someone said to her, "You alright, boss?"
It was Thomas, the head of her PST; looking over at him, she said, "Yeah, I'm alright, Thomas, I'm alright...can you get hold of all the team leaders, have them report up here, please?" As he nodded and began contacting everyone, Tamara heard over the radio Mercy letting her know how Kern was doing and thought, Sounds like nothing could ever dispatch the Viking...she also noted a hint of sadness in Mercy's voice and thought, I'll have to ask her what happened there...

Before Bam could reply, everyone out on the south ridge heard Thomas's call for the Scout team leaders to report to the Main Castle. "Sounds like Tamara wants to talk to all of us," he said, motioning for everyone to head back the way they came. "Knoxville, you got point; Lyndsey, I want you second in line...everyone else, follow me and Masumi."
Post by Masumi Lyell-Haru on Mar 9, 2017 12:50:49 GMT -5
Hearing the call over all the radio's, Masumi shook her head a bit as she heard a ringing in her ears from all the static and feed back going through them all. Hearing the barking of the orders, she fell in line along with Bam and they started to make they're way back. "Knoxville, jump on the path on the left....no that's your right, the left side has a path that leads to the side of the Castle's parking lot. There we can swing around to the front where your boss is at." In doing so, they followed the path that went down to the left. "Sorry Bam, figured I give a short cut instead of doubling back and going the way we came from or taking the ridge all the way out."
Moments later, they came to the front of the castle as they were met by all the leaders of the group except for a couple. One being Lawrence who was still out in the woods hunting. Walking over to Sarah, she saw that she didn't look to well. Wrapping an arm around Sarah's waist she whispered to her fiance. "You ok Love? Come over here and sit down."

"Masumi, you know I went to see the medics a few days ago 'cause I'd been feeling kind of bleh and all...well, they examined me and they found out why I'd been like that," pausing to grasp both of Masumi's hands in her own. Biting her lip, she placed one of Masumi's hands over her belly as she held tightly onto the other...."Masumi, I'm...I'm going to be a mother; I'm going to be a mother...."

In times like this, I really wish I had my music back..
Right now the only soundtrack that he had been listening too was his boots crunching on grass and leaves as he walked through the forest. Its been like that for a couple of weeks since he figured out where he was. Califonia! The Golden State!, home to Hollywood and where dreams are made of! Yeah and every brochure was now had a half eaten bikini babe only wanting to get a snack in between shots. These thoughts were pretty much the only thing right now that kept him smiling and going, though he still wished he had someone to laugh at them.
He lost the group he was with a month ago? At this point its been a couple nights but he's been losing track. Walkers of course and there he was back on his own again. Ever since New York he's been in the shit and just kept pouring on. Thankfully on the last town he snuck to there were a bit of brochures of a town with a castle! That sounded like fun..maybe he get lucky and no walkers..ha..fat chance of that but a boy can dream. It just meant someplace to refill on food, he was almost done on supplies that's he's scrambled and ammo? what a shell left? Yeah so he's really a one shot pony.
*He would be approaching from the eastern side of the forest to San Simoen*

Waiting and gathering her thoughts as her Scout team leaders (sans' Kern, who was still recovering in Medical) gathered around her at the Tundra, Tamara looked around at them, rapped her knuckles on the hood and spoke. "Glad to see we're all alive, everyone," she said. "Anyway...I...," pausing to gather her thoughts once again.
"We had a bad day yesterday, folks," she began, "and nothing will change that. Nothing.....right now, as I stand, a little part of me grieves for Julie, for the loss I'm feeling and will forever feel in my heart, but," remembering something someone had told her back at the Hive years before, "as someone once told me, 'you work around it. You work around it and you keep going.'
"And that's what we're going to do, ladies and gentlemen: we're going to keep going, we're going to work around what happened....but we are never going to forget about those we've lost, okay?
"We've all lost people over the past few years," glancing over as someone was listening to a radio handset, "and I grieve for each one of them," pausing to wipe a few tears away from her face, "and I know you guys do too. Don't try to hide it; I know you do...so here's the order of the day: except for the guards on-duty and the medics on duty, consider today and tomorrow days off. For all of us. Pastor Stephenson and Mr. Pepper," pointing to both individuals, "will be available if anyone wants to seek their counsel.
"Avail yourself of it, for once these two days are up, we go back to our regular routines," Tamara said. After a few moments - and after wiping some more tears away, she added in a quiet voice, "Let's be about it, people."

Sitting down, Masumi sat there looking at Sarah. "Yeah, how can't I forget? Had to keep replacing the bag in the bedside trash can for you, what did the medic's say love?" Sarah took both of her hands and held them as Masumi looked at her with a tilt to her head. That's when she placed the one hand on her stomach and told her the news. Sarah was Pregnant. A smile came over her face as she was happy to hear such news. Moving closer, Masumi wrapped her arms around Sarah and just couldn't help it. Tears began to well up and stream down her cheeks. Leaning back a bit, she looked at Sarah. Kissing her on the lips, she would then say to her. "I'm happy to hear that love. We...we are going to be parents." Masumi said lightly still holding Sarah close to her, but lightly so that she didn't hurt the little one/ Ones.
Thinking back for a moment, she whispered to Sarah. "Seems like my dream is coming true...the one where I was in the field and our twins came rushing to call me in for dinner...*sniffing hard, she looked around and then back at Sarah.* I'll be with you every step of the way Love...I won't leave you to raise our child or...children by yourself. You are happy too...right hun?" Masumi was so happy to hear the news, that she wanted to make sure that Sarah was happy too. Turning her head, she called out. "Tamara? Can you come over here please?"

As everyone broke up for what would be two days of down-time at San Simeon, Tamara head Masumi calling her over to where her and Sarah were sitting at; trotting over to them, she asked, "Something wrong, Sis?" kneeling down so that she could better watch her sister.
"Yeah, I'm alright," Sarah replied. "Tamara, you're gonna' be an aunt in about six-and-a-half, seven months," reaching over to grab her sister's hand as her and Masumi sat on the bench.
For several moments, Tamara tried to fathom what her twin sister was saying...then it dawned on what exactly what Sarah was saying...sitting down on the concrete, she grasped Sarah's hand and held the other up over her own mouth. "Oh my....I'm going to be an aunt? Then that means....that means you're going to be a mother!" dragging first Sarah and then Masumi up onto their feet and hugging both of them. "I can't believe it, I can't believe it," Tamara said, trying her best not to cry in joy over the good news.

Having heard the radio call that someone was approaching from the east of San Simeon, Stephanie excused herself from the gathering and began walking over in the direction given, wondering who was headed towards them. Making her way down the hillside behind the Main Castle and reaching the grass airstrip, she looked around, thinking she'd seen--
"Roman?" she said quietly, looking once more to make sure her eyes weren't playing tricks on her...but no, it was her old friend from the Big Ole' Rotten Apple. "Hey, Roman!" she called out to him, waving at him to get his attention. "Roman, over here," she called out once more, walking towards him at a faster, thinking, That has to be Roman, of all people....

"Roman? Hey, Roman!"
At first he was lost in thought so when he heard the voice he jumped and looked around almost tripping in the process. But he tried to recover what coolness and danger he didn't have grabbing his shotgun from the strap and aiming it somewhere. Someone here in the middle of the woods? His energetic mind was firing on ideas of who might be out there and more so who could be calling for Him personally. He didn't know anyone from Cali..but the voice sounded really familiar.
"Roman, over here!"
The voice was getting closer and it threw him off recognizing it. Here? I thought she was still in New York?Despite the questions in his mind a smile streaked his face as he turned around and saw a familiar face he was oh so couldn't be more happy to see. Taking his hand off his gun he sprinted over to her, doing a mix of tackle and hugged her.
"Steph!! Oh man this is soo much better than music right now!"

The Japanese woman watched as Tamara hurried over to see if something was the matter with Sarah. Smiling more as Sarah said that everything was alright and just said that Tamara was going to be an Aunt between 6 and a half to 7 months from now. Masumi watched as Tamara was processing it and when it hit her, she sat down and cupped her hand. Leaning her head to the side, she rested her head on Sarah's as tears were still streaming down. "Yes Tamara, you are going to be an aunt and Sarah and I, the parents." Moving her head back off of Sarah's shoulder, Sarah was brought to her feet by Tamara and Masumi was next up to be brought up. In a three person hug, Masumi had an arm around Tamara's and Sarah's waist as they hugged.
"Sarah just told me the news as well. I'm super happy that we are going to be parents." Resting her head again, this time she gently leaned it against Sarah's head and gently kissed her cheek. Whispering in her ear. "I love you my snow flower." Looking over at Tamara, Masumi kept smiling as she whispered to her. "The reason for it is more of a different nature then one would think. You see...Sarah had seen....my secret. So I share to you my secret as well since I fully trust you and welcome you into my Family Tradition of House Haru to show our respect to you, Tamara Lyell. I'm Transgender. I was a man who got the operation to be a female. I still have the working parts...and....well, the night I shown Sarah, me and her confessed to each other how we felt to the other. We've been together ever since. You can probably paint the rest of the picture from there." Moving her head away so that Tamara could take in the information that she was just told. Masumi blushed heavily as she found what she just said embarrassing.

"Tell me about it, Roman," Stephanie joked as they fell to the ground, Roman landing on top of Stephanie....sitting up on the ground after a few moments, she said, smiling from ear-to-ear, "Aiy'yo, how the hell have you been, Roman?" her Bawlmer accent thick and full in the air as she thought about all the people from her small group back in New York and wondered what happened to everyone else they'd run with: Michael, Kevin, Vince, Albert...and Tory; sweet, sweet Tory, Stephanie thought....whatever happened to her?

Rather than try and fathom everything Masumi said, Tamara just hugged her and Sarah even tighter. "All I know, Masumi, is that you're a part of our group now...all the rest, it doesn't matter. You are who you are and never let anyone tell you different. And you," Tamara continued, hugging Sarah as close as one sister could to another sister, "are going to make a great mother, you hear me, Sis?"

This might be one of the few times Roman ever successfully tackled a person and right now he called it a victory seeing a close friend again. To be honest being without them guys have left a worse pain than whatever he felt in his leg. Its been honestly too long since he was with em, cracking jokes like he was paid to and having them laugh. After they left the Hive things just wasn't the same and after walkers got them separated. He was all alone again, no one to talk to, no one to laugh with. No one to smile for but himself. But he had to keep going, hoping maybe they would follow and find each other again.
Its been a long trek for him, he was familiar with bouncing from town to town, scrounging the bottom of the barrel and finding some hidden gems once in a while. There were a few groups he passed along the way, but he wasn't dumb and kept himself hidden for the time being. Some of them seemed just like him, the others..was a bullet dodged.
Now he felt like some of that hell, was shaving off seeing Steph again. Rolling off of her so she can finally get up he was grinning like a coyote, trying to figure out what's all the words should he say. When the first words got out, they kept coming like a waterfall.
"Steph man, I'm not sure if I got enough ink in the world to tell ya the weeks I've had. But here I am!"
He wasn't sure if he could even say what happened to the others, so he didn't. He thought probably the same as her that they were alive and well. That's one of the things that kept him sleeping and awake at night. But now he had a better question,
"Now you got to tell me, how did you get here? I thought you were still chilling in New York? Don't tell me you wanted to join the Rome Radio show and beat me to it?"
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
