When all the confusion died down and the initial shock wore off. Ramona sighed. She couldn't believe that he was lucky enough to not only find her, but find both of his kids in the apocalypse. Dam. She thought. But it made her smile all the same. She was happy for Sam and seeing him embrace his daughter she let the petty bullshit melt away. She couldn't stay mad at him. She never could. Stupid asshole had a way of melting ice. Not with his charm or his good looks, but with his stubborn pigheaded persistence. In this case, she was just overcome with a warm feeling. Watching a father reunite with his daughter. Standing off to the side she kind of felt like the third wheel in the happy reunion. Some woman came over and bandaged her wrist. Well, isn't that convient? She thought. She thought shed' have to give up on the idea of health care when they left San Simeon for good. Thinking about the place now, she hoped that Tegan was ok. And Julie, and Bailey. She didn't have that close of a relationship with many people in the scouts. They kinda saw her as a bossy bitch and she totally was. But didn't mean she didn't care about them. Didn't mean she wouldn't lay down her life for them. But in the end, her family was just more important to her. She chose her family over the group she had survived with since nearly the beginning. The group her mother died in. Lena Kelevra. Ramona thought about her now, especially with all the heart warming family reunioning going around. Ramona knew that she'd never see her mother again. They had both made it to the hive on Riker's Island, but when Ramona set off with the scouts to do a routine outpost sweep and clear they heard the hive's destruction over the radio. She knew her mother was dead. But now she was a mother. Two children both grown. It was bizarre, she wasn't even sure how to act around them. No doubt she was a delight with her bossy bitchy attitude. She wondered quietly how awkward it'd be when they found out she married the girl's father; as she pushed open the door to her apartment. Sam was off doing something with Addy. Ramona wanted to see the place that her and her husband would be calling home. The place was dusty, and slightly funky smelling. Not rot, but just a stale smell. Ramona stepped into the mostly clean home. It looked like one of those model homes, only it was left abandoned for four years. Ramona had dirt and blood dried on her face. Her hairs was a mess. Her shirt was stained and she probably smelled like ass. It was a long road trip. She moved around the quiet room observing everything. She picked up pictures and looked at them before setting them back down again.
Ramona: Home sweet home.
She muttered to herself as she moved into the bedroom. Ramona slung her bag on the bed and peeled off her shirt and threw it haphazardly on the dresser. She stood there in a black padded bra and pulled her hair back over her shoulder. God what she wouldn't give for a hot shower. That would literally be the best thing she could hope for right now. Ramona didn't have a place this nice before the outbreak. She had a crappy tiny one bedroom. Though, she was rarely ever home. She was married to the job. Working on moving up the ranks, though somehow Samuel made it to the FBI before her. She never got higher than SWAT before the world ended. In the end her SWAT training had kept her alive. Made her a tough bitch to take down and probably being a shield operator didn't hurt much either. Ramona moved into the bathroom. She was wearing a pair of tight fitting blue jeans and nothing else. She had already kicked off her shoes in the bedroom. She was reveling in the feeling of having her shoes off after a hard day. It was nice. This is probably to much to hope for... She thought as she sat on the edge of the bathroom tub and gave the "H" knob a good turn. Ramona turned when Sam entered the room. She was no longer mad, she gave him a loving smile.
There was a lot of info to take in when the group came together. Samuel moved the vehicles into the underground garage before he made his way up to the apartment of his daughters. It was there he found Addy and with a quick bye, they headed towards their own apartment. His gaze fell on Jennifer writing on the doors in which he saw the note for everyone to meet in the morning. Finally, he entered after Ramona and the place was huge for a one bedroom. The Decor was nice but dusty and it was a stuffy old smell but nothing some open windows could fix.
Moving into the open kitchen area he looked through the boxes of supplies that the leader had left as a welcome basket. There was a note explaining do's and don't as far as security. It went on to speak of the limited power supply and to keep water usage especially hot to a minimum. Samuel would have to speak with her on how to improve the power supply if they were all gonna stay here long term. Slowly stripping off his Gear he left everything on the bar and headed towards the master bedroom.
He figured ramona had gone into the bathroom by the sound of running water. Pulling his shirt off he moved into the room and stripped before stepping into the shower with her. He was silent and wasnt sure if she was still angry with him or not so better to tread carefully. "Note in the kitchen says to take it easy on the power usage so figured we could save water and shower together." He spoke with a small smirk tugging at his lips. There was a good chance he would ride the couch tonight and if that was the case then so be it. Though he would rather sleep close to his wife whether she was angry or not.
Shauna Kelly: That helped, thank you
