Things had gone by rather fast after the decree of Marriage from the King. After the prince was thrown into the jails it was made to happen that Anna and himself were escorted to the village they would rule over. The wedding happened rather quickly and for the most part, they had fallen into the routine of playing the husband and wife for the public. There hadn't been much time to get to know anything about his wife while he was getting used to being in charge of this entire Village. William was always the lone wolf type and never wanted these kinds of power but it was out of his hands.
A couple weeks had passed and the news of the Prince being married without them present he could tell took a toll on Anna. For a brief time, he was distracted when he managed to find his sister amongst the woods hunting and traveling towards the bayou she had called home. As much as he discouraged her to travel alone she left his village and a note of where she was headed. It was a bummer to find out but now he was left alone with everything settled down to eat breakfast in the deafening silence. His Eyes fell on Anna who was quiet and a sigh escaped his lips.
Rising from his seat he moved towards her and tapped her shoulder. With a tilt of his head, he gestured for the woman to follow. Sneaking away from the guards they rode into the woods on horseback. "My lady you act as if you have been to a funeral as of late. The villagers talk and I figure sneaking away from the pressure we can get to know each other a little better. If you wish that is." He spoke looking over at her as they rode quietly through the woods. It was rather freeing to escape from the pressure of making all the decisions of the people they were in charge of.
